I probably wouldn’t have heard about this tragedy that is currently taking place if I had not been actively reading my Twitter feeds. You, too, probably don’t know about it because the mainstream media is not reporting it. Instead, they’ve chosen to hide bury their heads in the sand or god knows what.

And so Muammar Gadhafi is dead which wasn’t really much of a surprise. It was only a matter of time before he was found. He was found in a sewer near his home town of Sirte, just like a rat – the word he used to describe the citizens of his country. The fact that he didn’t even make it to a court of justice for his crimes against humanity is not much of a surprise either. Why are people surprised?
