I've never been to keen about the whole 'Nike - The Pool - park for a month' thing but the following video, filmed and edited by Harrison Boyce, really rocks.

There was many edits about the comp out there but seems like today everyone's filming with the same sensors so at the end of the day, all of them look pretty much in the same way: same bangers, same tones, same... making the whole thing a bit boring.

Love the part he writes at defgrip "Great colors, interesting architecture, the two floors with windows looking down at the ramps. I was a kid in a candy store"

Well, hope you enjoy it as much as I do...

My new business cards arrived and yes, I'm feeling just like that, a child with a new bike!

The size of this beauties (yeah, what can I say, I'm the father!) is 78 by 50 mm in 350 gsm matt laminated card. Probably not in the best quality but this is what I can afford at the moment as I'm looking forward to move flat and London is pretty damn expensive. 

Anyway, I haven't printed that much (just 500) so hopefully next time will see some letterpress works around my wallet ;)

This is a post dedicated to either Barcelona or Lightroom lovers.
I've been looking to my last shoots at the city for a while and I guess, after almost 3 years living in London I still in love with that place...

I've decided to create a preset based on that pictures  called 'Barcelona preset' and inspired in the city itself. Probably for many people Barcelona can be trendy, modern, cultural, techy, touristic... but, I guess for me it's now just a memory of the good times I had there and, this is what I've basically tried to get with this preset.

PS: this should be the first preset of a collection dedicated to different places/experiences that have inspired myselfat any point. More to come really soon.

If you've seen my recent photos from Lugo I guess you've probably realized they have been taken with a film camera. The camera itself was the awesome Olympus Trip 35. 
Is not just about how good looking this camera can be, it's also the building and  lens quality and how portable it is. Believe me, it's really difficult to take a bad photo with this tool. 
I could spend lots of time speaking about its boundaries but we can go deeper in upcoming posts.  

With all my love for the 50's, 60's and 70's product design, and after the good experience with the Trip 35, I've recently decided add a new member to my camera collection, the Olympus Pen EE.
Leaving aside the fact of its really cool design, one of its main features is the the capability of take double number of photos than a 'common' camera. Let's say that for every 'regular' 35 mm frame, the Pen can shoot 2 frames with a result of 72 photos for every 36p film roll.
This compromises a funny thing; basically when you support the camera in a usual landscape position, you're actually taking a portrait photo, funny, isn't it?

The not really funny thing was that camera shutter didn't work. So I opted to go for surgery. I took my screwdrivers pack and after 3 hours, some new drivers and a couple of glasses of wine, the camera was in perfect working order.

In my recent trip to Barcelona I had the pleasure to share a couple of afternoon/evenings with and old friend of myself, Jordi Tamayo, also knows as Santa. 
He runs a well know website inside the fixie world called enciclika.com. He's also a product designer and teacher at Bau design school. Is he doing anything else? yes, he also plays music and is working in some new stuff. You know, he's this kind of guy that loves make things happen.

By the way, he has pretty cool apartament and I had the chance to shoot some photos. You can see them by following this link plus some other stuff I've been shooting during my Barcelona trip.

Last days in my town before flying to Barcelona and first developed rolls. 

The camera I've been using for the first stage of the trip was an Olympus trip 35 and the film was a Fuji color 200 ISO. I would say is a quite cool combination as it's extremely flexible in a wide range of situations. Yes, if you are photographer and working for the automobile industry you will propably guess those photos sucks, lack of focus, anoying noise in the darkest areas... But, either you are from Lugo or you've been living there, I guess you will apreciate part of the essence I've been living with for the last few days.

I'll try to post more stuff as soon as get more rolls developed.

As mush as you already probably know I´ll be travelling around Spain for 15 days.
First stage, Santiago de compostela. Working at with @xosegarcia, the guy on the photo who runs piedrapapeltijera.
The whole next week I´m going to be hanging all in around Galicia working in some projects and next Friday flying to Barcelona ready to enjoy the always awesome combo of the three B's; Beach, Beer and Bikes. Can´t wait to see my old Catalan fellas!
