Hey everybody! It's been almost a year since I created this walkthough, and I would just like to thank all of you for your comments, your input, and your continued support. This page has grown in popularity so much in the past few months, that when you Google search "World Adventures Walkthrough" it is the first result! Also, blogspot has added a new feature to the dashboard which allows me to view the statistics of my page. I am averaging about 15,000 hits a month! Alot of you have been asking if I will be doing any other walkthoughs for other expansion packs, or other games. As of right now I am addicted to WoW and with the recent release of the much anticipated Cataclysm expansion, and I haven't been able to tear myself away to play The Sims. However, if enough of you comment on this entery asking me to do another Sims 3 expansion, I will start on that :D

Surviving Chateau du Landgraab

This is just showing you how to get through Chateau du Landgraab with the keystones you get from doing missions. For the Landgraab Cellar mission (the one that starts in China) go HERE.

Examine the hole behind the house to disarm the traps.

Go up the stairs.

Collect from the chest.

Stand on the floor switch to disarm the traps. Go back down the stairs.

Move the statue onto the dark spot to disarm the hidden trap.

Put the library keystone in the slot here.

Disarm the trap.

Go around the side of the house to put the Landgraab Ballroom Keystone in the slot.

Turn the stereo on to make the switches appear.

Put the statues onto the switches to disarm most of the traps in the house.

Continue to explore the house.

Go up the stairs to the second floor.

Stand on the floor switch in this room...

...it unlocks this door.

Nectar Cellar/Tomb of Isael/Tomb of Jean Necteaux

Mission: Help the local find an old bottle of nectar, then help him explore the new rooms you opened up.

Take the stairs to the lower level.

Explore a bit...

Hidden door here.

Another here.

Grab the treasure.

Head to this room.

Hidden door...

Collect the treasure.

Put the keystone the local gave you here.

Ooo! Shiny box! Go open it!

Secret doors open...

Shiny hole! Go examine it! It is a riddle about three treasures. Take it back to the local to complete this mission. You will now have to take your sim to Egypt where the riddle can be deciphered. Before you go collect 5 Cerambryx beetles in France to take to the local in Egypt as an offering for his help. Once you are done in Egypt, travel back to France with the ruby you got, and speak to the local.

Mission: Take the ruby and put it into one of the three holes to unlock the Tomb of Isael so you can explore it.

Examine the hole and your sim will automatically put the ruby in it.

Get the keystone of the pedestal.

Hidden door here. The door that leads into the purpleish hallway is just a quicker way out of this tomb.

Put the keystone in the slot.

Down the stairs...

Lets go to the one on the right first.

Explore the dive pool.

Clear the rubble.

Push the statues out of the way.

Grab the treasure.

Push the statue onto the switch.

It unlocks a door downstairs.

Just a bathroom here if you need it.

Door on the left now... Examine the hole in the floor.

Gather the treasure.

Pull the statue out.

Push it over to the switch...

Examine the hole that appears.

Pull that same statue back out and move it to the other floor switch.

Stand on the floor switch that appears to open the hidden doors.

Put the heart keystones in the slots.

Clear the rubble.

Pull the statues out and onto the floor switches.

The switches unlock two hidden doors.

Collect the treasure.

Put anything on the pedestal to open the door. Arthur put a fish on it. :p

Collect the treasures.

You can't do much in the other room that was unlocked unless you already have 2 heart keystones in your inventory. But for those of you who do not, continue through the door the 2 statues were blocking.

Collect the treasures in the room.

Examine the hole.

Examine the wall. Go through the hidden door.

Hidden door in this room too.

Clear the rubble.

Collect the relic.

Collect the treasure.

Continue to this room... This room is such a pain... Here is how I moved the statues around so I could get to the keystone and the treasure.

Pull the statue off the floor switch to unlock the door.

Clear the rubble.

Collect the treasure.

Hidden door...

Collect the keystone.

Now go back to the room you unlocked earlier. Put the two keystones in the slots.

Push the statues onto the switches.

Go through the door.

Pull the statue onto the switch to deactivate the electric traps.

Pick up the treasures in the room.

Go up the stairs. You will have to disarm or attempt to cross one of the traps.

Collect the sapphire and the treasures from the chests. Return to the local to complete the mission.

Mission: After putting the sapphire into the hole, asking locals about the emerald, retrieving the emerald, and then putting the emerald into the hole, explore the tomb of Jean Nectaux to find the recipe. You may want to buy some mummy snacks, or improve your body and marital arts skill because there are quite a few mummies in this part of the mission.

Examine the holes and put the gems in them to make the keystone appear.

Put the keystone in the slot.

Pull the statue away from the wall.

Examine the hole.

Examine these holes for treasure.

Go down the stairs to this room.

There is a hidden door here.

Collect the treasure. Another hidden door here.

and another...

Collect the treasure.

Go up the stairs.

Put the statue over the floor switch to disarm the electric traps.

Your sim can walk around these traps. Go up the stairs.

Explore the dive pool.

Up the stairs...

and up...

Pull the statue off of the switch.

Grab the treasure. Examine the hole in the wall. It opens a hidden door.

Collect the treasures.

Clear the rubble.

Hidden door here.

Grab the keystone.

Push the statue back onto the floor switch.

Put the keystone in the slot to unlock the door.

Collect the treasures.

This is the ONLY switch you have to stand on. The one all the statues are pointing to...

It unlocks the door. But don't go through it yet. There is a room to the right with a hidden door we opened earlier.

Clear the rubble.

Collect the treasure.

Clear the rubble, collect the treasure, and look inside the sarcophagus.

Stand on the floor switch. Follow the blue lights to avoid traps.

Several minutes later...

Stand on the floor switch to disarm all the traps in the room.

Clear the rubble and collect the treasures in the room.

Go through this door.

Examine the wall.

Collect the treasures.

Go up the stairs in the room that had the blue lights. Pull the statue onto the floor switch to disarm the fire traps.

Go down the stairs the fire traps were guarding.

Clear the rubble.

Pull the statue away from the wall. Inspect the hole.

Go through the hidden door that opened.

Look inside the sarcophagi and collect the treasure. Watch out for mummies.

Get the recipe from the sarcophagus. It will disarm the traps.

After collecting the treasure in the room, go up the stairs.

Stand on the floor switch to open the door. Collect the relic from the chest. Report in to your boss.

Abu Simbel

This is one of the trickiest tombs I have done. If you mess up and do something out of order, you will either have to zenport or use testingcheatsenabled true cheat to teleport yourself out of a trap. The tomb has many plaques for you to read that will give you hints on how to solve the tomb.

After donating an ancient relic and a tiny space rock to the tomb you gain entry. Go through the door to the left.

Explore the dive pool. Say yes to the tunnel question.

Clear the rubble. Pick up the keystone.

Put the keystone in the slot.

Examine the wall here to open a hidden door.

Collect the treasure from the chest.

Go through the door you unlocked and go down the stairs.

In this room you will have to stand on the correct floor switches or you will activate traps.

From left to right, starting from the one Arthur is stepping out of in the back left, the correct switches are left, left, right left. If you mess up, your sim should be able to "attempt to cross" the trap.

Go in the room and collect the treasure.

Continue to the next room.

There are hints on the pedestals for you to read and to help you through the maze.

Obviously Arthur didn't read the hints very well...

Once you have made it through the maze, go through the door.

Open the chest and collect the treasure. Put that treasure onto the pedestal. Use the eye of Horus to teleport to the other eye. DONT TAKE THE EYE OFF THE WALL! yet... (you will notice Arthur took them. oops...

Open the chest and collect the treasure. Stand on the floor switch. Teleport back to the other eye.

There is a hidden door here. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but if you take any of the relics be prepared to fight a mummy.

Go through the door that leads to the room you cannot see yet.

Now turn around and go back into the other room through the door.

Inspect the wall here to open a hidden door.

Collect any of the relics off the pedestals you want. Collect the treasure from the sarcophagus.

Stand on the floor switches that are off to the sides, not the one middle of the hall.

Each switch will open another hidden door.

Go through the door at the end of the hall.

On the blue side, examine the torch and pull it. Stand on the floor switch that appears. Then pull the torch on the red side. Stand on the floor switch that appears to open the door.

Open the chests and collect the treasure. Put the treasure onto the pedestals.

NOW go grab the left and right eyes of Horus.

Go through both of these doors.

Put one of the eyes of Horus in each room.

Pull the torches in each room to reveal a hole in the wall. You will have to use the eyes to teleport to the rooms because by the time you walk to the other room the hole will disappear.

Open the chests with the keystones you found in the ho

Push this statue back as far as it will go. Put one of the eyes of Horus near the door.

Put the other eye here.

Pull the statue out here. Teleport to the eye by the switch.

Pull the statue as far as it will go. Teleport to the eye by the door.

Push the statue against the wall. Teleport back to the eye by the switch.

Pull the statue as far as you can. Pick up the eye. From your inventory, use it to teleport to the eye by the door.

Now push the statue onto the switch to make a hole in the wall appear. Collect the relic. Pick up the eye by the door.

Now go back upstairs to this room.

Put one of the eyes on this side of the room. Keep the other in your inventory.

Pull the statue onto the switch. Use the eye to teleport. Go into the room you unlocked and collect the treasure. Get out of the room by exploring the dive well.

Strange Noises in the Museum

Mission: Locate the source of the mysterious noises in the museum that are scaring off the guards.

Examine the hole in the wall. It is on the first floor of the museum.

It will unlock a hidden door.

Go down the hall, through the door, and down the stairs.

Pull the torch.

Push the statues onto the switches to open the door.

Examine the wall to open a hidden door.

Collect the treasure.

Pull the statue.

Examine the hole to unlock the door.

Nothing special in this room...

Go through the door.

There are 3 doors in this room. Only one is unlocked. Go through that one.

Collect the treasure from the chest.

I missed how this door is unlocked, but continue through the door to the immediate right. Leaving the room with the electric traps will open up a hidden door in that room leading to where you need to go to finish this mission.

Pull this statue out. It will make another floor switch appear.

Push the statue onto the floor switch to unlock the door.

Open the chest to make another floor switch appear.

Stand on the floor switch.

It unlocks this door.

When you enter this room and read the plaque on the wall, you will get another mission. ACCEPT THIS MISSION! Mourn the grave to open the hidden door. Examine the hole in the floor to retrieve the remains. How the man died and ended up in that tiny hole we may never know... Go down the stairs.

Collect the treasure. Go up the stairs.

Collect the treasure from the chest. Go up the stairs.

Use map view to find the graveyard. Examine the hole in the ground to unlock the middle room. Open the chest. Click and drag the remains from your inventory to the chest's inventory panel. Report in to your boss.

The Queen's personal chambers

Mission: Use the keystone you found in the relic to search the queen's personal chambers for clues.

Put the keystone in the slot to open the stairs.

and push this statue here.

Now put it on the floor switch and go through the door it unlocks. Go through the door directly in front of you.

This isn't a good picture, but there are 2 doors on each side of the room so you can walk through it to get to this side of the statue. Pull the statue toward the floor switch.

Put the statue onto the floor switch to unlock the door.

Stand on the floor switch to make the stairs appear.

Put the statues onto the floor switches to unlock the door.

Stand on the floor switch to make another floor switch appear.

Put the statue onto the floor switch to make the stairs appear.

Bazaar Tomb

Mission: The relic you brought back from the servant's quarters has a keystone in it. Use it to explore the tombs under the market.

Here are the stairs to the tombs under the market. You will need to go down to the second level of the tomb to start this mission.

Put the keystone in the slot to open the door.

Examine the hole in the floor.

Pull the statue onto the floor switch to unlock the door.

Go through the door and down the stairs.

It is hard to see, but if you maximize this picture, you can see there are 3 doors with colored tiles under them in the room you enter when you come down the stairs. Red, Blue, and Green. Doors with red tiles lead to treasure and are usually dead ends. Doors with blue tiles will lead you further into this tomb. The one door with the green tiles has a floor switch for you to stand on.

Stand on the floor switch.

Collect the treasure.

Collect the treasure.

This room is kinda tricky...

Walk all the way around again, and go through the door. Go up the stairs.

Go down the other stairs.

Queen Hatshepsut's hideout/ Servants Quarters

I am combining these two missions because they are so short.

Mission: Supposedly the queen has a secret hideout under one of the homes in town. Explore the hideout to find clues.

Use map view to find the house. You must first be invited inside before you can poke around under the house. Examine the hole in the ground to make the stairs appear.

Go down the stairs. Collect the keystone off of the table.

Put the keystone in the door.

Collect what is in the chest, and report in to your boss. You will do a few more little missions before you will get the keystone for the servant's quarters.

Mission: Take the keystone you found to Queen Hatshepsut's temple and unlock the servant's quarters to search for clues.

The entrance to this temple is on the left side, just up the stairs.

Put the keystone in the slot.

Go down the stairs.

Examine the wall in the last bedroom on the right to open the hidden door.

Collect what is in the chest and report in, or continue to explore the temple upstairs.

Clear the rubble, and collect the treasures.

Black Bag Job (Infiltrating the resistance HQ)

Mission: Infiltrate the resistance's headquarters to find out information.

Turn the stereo on to find a clue and reveal the secret staircase. (If it is already on, turn it off then back on again.)

Flush the toilet for a second clue.

Read a book of the shelf for the finial clue.

Go down the stairs.

Stand on the floor switches in this exact order. 2-3-4-1. If you mess up the switch under the red light is the reset switch.

When the puzzle is finished the light will turn green. Continue to the next floor.

Stand on the switches in this exact order. 6-1-7

Continue to the next floor.

Stand on the switches in this exact order. 8-2-4-9

Continue to the next floor.

Click the computer and choose "Hack" to complete this mission. Collect the treasures from the chests, then report in to your boss.

This room is just a bathroom.

Secret garden

I previously thought this was the mission everyone on the forums was calling the "mysterious noises" mission because the owner of the house complained of hearing noises from his basement. This was a mistake on my part, since I have now completed the mission that is actually telling me to find the source of the noises. I am sorry for any confusion this caused.

Mission: A local has just moved into a new house, and doesn't have time to explore the area under it. Explore the tomb under the house, and try to figure out what is making the strange noises.

Go down the stairs that lead to the basement.

Put the keystone in the slot.

Pull the statue away from the wall.

Examine the torch.

Put the statues onto the floor switches.

Examine the hole in the floor to open the hidden door.

Collect the treasure from the chest.

Go up the stairs.

Mourn the grave.

Stand on the floor switch to open the hidden door. Report your findings to the local.

Celtic Ruins

Mission: Find the treasure the local dropped in a hole in the tomb under the Celtic Ruins.

Go down the stairs.

Collect the treasures and clear the rubble.

Go through the door.

Stand on the floor switch to unlock the door.

Clear the rubble in the corner, collect the treasure, and stand on the floor switch to activate the hole in the wall to appear.

Examine the hole in the wall to unlock the door.

Clear the rubble and collect the treasure. There is a keystone under one of the piles.

Examine the wall to open a hidden door. Collect the treasure in the room.

Put the keystone in the slot.

Pull the statue onto the floor switch.

Pull the statue onto the floor switch to make the other appear.

Temple of the Dragon Part 2

Mission: After mastering martial arts, breaking a space rock, winning a martial arts tournament, and creating a statue to protect you, you are given the keystone needed to descend deeper into the Temple of the Dragon and defeat Dong Huo.

Put the keystone in the slot and go down the stairs.

Clear the rubble and collect the treasure.

Put the statue onto the floor switch to unlock the door.

Pull the statue away from the wall to reveal the hole.

Examine the hole.

It unlocks the door. Put the statue back on the floor switch.

Clear the rubble.

Stand on the floor switch.

It disarms some of the fire traps.

Go through the door.

Push the statues onto the floor switches.

Inspect the hole.

Attempt to cross the fire trap to disarm it. Put a crescent keystone in the slot.

Go down the stairs.

Pull the statues onto the floor switches to disarm the traps.

Go through the door. Read the plaque on the wall for a hint.

Ahh... The finial room!

You need a star keystone to open this chest.

Each floor switch activates another to appear. Stand on the floor switch.

Stand on the floor switch.

Push the statues onto the floor switches.

Stand on the floor switch.

Stand on the floor switch.

Avoid mummies, or lead them into fire traps.

Put this statue here...

and this one here.

Explore the dive pool. Say yes to the tunnel question.

Pull the statue out. Explore the dive pool.

Push the statue onto the switch.

Stand on the switch.

You will get a message saying you have locked Dong Huo's soul in the tomb. Or something along those lines.

A secret door will have opened up when you finish standing on the last switch. Once you go through it, it closes.

Grab the treasure out of the chests, and some hidden doors will open. Report in to your boss.

Chateau du Landgraab (Dragon Temple keystone mission)

This was probably the hardest mission I have done so far. The prima guide didn't help at all, and it seemed like everyone was stuck on this as well when I looked on the forums. I wandered through this house for probably close to two hours before I realized what I had to do, and it was so simple I facepalmed. I have decided I will only show the direct route you will use to complete this mission, and not show you every room of the house I wandered through. This is because a majority of the rooms have nothing in them, I only got into those rooms with zenporting (which you do not need in this mission after all), and they have nothing to do with this mission.

Mission: Locate the keystone in Chateau du Landgraab in France needed to explore the rest of the Dragon Temple in China.

Examine the hole in the ground.

It disarms the traps.

Go through the door on the left.

Watch out for these traps here. Go through the double doors.

Go up the stairs to the 3rd floor.

Put the keystone in the slot.

Don't take the statue off the display!! The electric traps will be activated. You can take the treasure off the left display though.

If you did take the statue, put it back by clicking the display and then finding the statue in your inventory. This will deactivate the traps.
*I have been informed via comment, that you can place anything from your inventory onto the display to deactivate the traps*

Collect the treasure off the bedside table.

Continue through the bathroom...

Walking into this room will activate the hidden door to appear.

Go down the stairs to the basement.

Watch out for the fire trap on the wall to the right.

Go through the door to the left.

You can explore the other rooms if you want to.

You can harvest some of the grape vines.

Grab the keystone from the glowing chest, and the keystone off the table.

Go through the door at the end of the hall, and the hidden door will activate.

Another hidden door here.

Collect the treasure. You can now travel back to China to complete the mission.

France!

Arthur got a mission in China, and has been sent to France to complete it. After I complete this mission for the local in China, Arthur will be moving on to France! Oh la la!

Getting Cursed

A simmer on my thread requested I do a post explaining how to get cursed. My response:

Sadly, Arthur has a very slim chance of ever being cursed again. His martial arts and body skill are so high, he will almost always defeat mummies. The higher your martial arts and body skills are, the smaller your chance of losing a fight with a mummy and getting cursed are.

However if your sim does not have these skills, there is an area in the sphinx that has 3 black pools and 1 purple one. Explore all the black ones, and each will awaken a mummy. Although losing a fight doesn't always mean you get cursed (Arthur has fought 2 mummies now and not gotten cursed), I have a feeling you have a good chance of becoming cursed in one of the fights you will have with these mummies.

Finally, if you cannot get cursed, this adventure is just this one mission. Completing it will not set off a chain of other adventures like some of the others do.

Update: I have been reading the forums, and my theory about having a high martial arts skill is relatively true. However, one or two simmers reported if you change your sims traits to something along the lines of coward, unlucky, loser, things like that, even a sim with a level 10 martial arts skill may sometimes lose a fight. Also reported by one simmer, her level 10 martial artist sim was very tired (her energy bar was in the red) when she fought a mummy, lost, and got cursed.

*Walden95 has reported that his sim had a level 10 body and martial arts skill. He experimented and found his sim lost 5 out of 50 battles, and was only cursed once. This means that your sim has about 10% chance of losing, and only about a 2% chance of getting cursed. His sim also had full energy for each fight, and no negative traits.*

Furthermore, getting cursed will NOT turn you into a mummy. It WILL kill your sim in 14 days. To make your sim a mummy, you will have to collect fragments of the Sarcophagus of the Kings and then reconstruct it. You have a chance of building either a Blessed (which is gold), or a Cursed (which is black) sarcophagus. If you don't want to go around collecting fragments, you can use the cheat by pressing ctrl+shift+c and entering testingcheatsenabled true into the cheat box, then pressing ctrl+shift+c and then entering buydebug into the cheat box. Find it under the buy mode category with an icon that is a question mark. I believe it costs a whopping 1 dollar. Sleep in the cursed sarcophagus for 3 nights to become a mummy. However, other than never having to go to the bathroom or running out of energy, being a mummy isn't all that great from what I have read. They grunt all the time, and they are extremely slow walkers.

Temple of Heaven-Annex of the Resolute Fist

Misson: The order of the Resolute Fist needs your help finding a relic. Head to the Temple of Heaven to find it.

The entrance to the tomb is in the building in the back right corner. Go down the stairs.

There is a hidden door here.

Collect the treasures.

Put the keystone in the slot.

Collect the treasure in the bedrooms.

Examine the hole in the wall.

Examine the other hole in the wall.

Explore the dive pool.

Examine the shiny hole. The other holes don't really do much, but a few have treasure in them.

Dive back into the pool.
*At this point in the mission you will need to report in. After completing the various missions they give you, you will receive a keystone that goes in this next slot.

Put the keystone in the slot.

Continue through the hall.

To make this room work, move the statues on the right side so they mirror the statues on the left side. To make it a little easier on you, if you just pull the three statues out, moving the third one will activate a hole in the wall to appear. When you examine it the 3 floor switches will appear and you can then move the statues onto them. Anyway, here is what I did to move the statues...

Examine the hole.

The statues on the floor switches will unlock this door...

Examine the hole in the wall.

Down the stairs... Collect the treasure in the chest to activate the floor switches.

Push the statues onto the floor switches.

The statues unlock this door.

This is probably the most tedious set of corridors this game has dealt to me yet. There are no traps or anything, just way too many halls to walk down.

Hot Springs Temple

Mission: Smash the boulder blocking the path to the dive well. Explore the dive well and follow the secret passage.

Use Pangu's Ax to smash the boulder. Your sim will automatically do this when you click on the boulder.

Explore the dive pool.

Stand on the floor switch to turn on the water traps which disarm fire traps.

Gather the treasure and explore the dive pool.

Pull the statues onto the floor switches.

Collect the ancient coins.

Examine the hole in the floor.

It opens a secret door, collect the treasure.

Stand on the floor switch.

Explore the dive pool.

Push the statue onto the middle switch first.

Stand on the floor switch.

Pull the statue back to the first switch.

Stand on the floor switch.

Push the statue onto the last switch.

Clear the rubble and collect the treasure.

Explore the dive pool.

Mission complete. Grab the treasures in the chests.

Explore the dive pool to return to the surface. Deliver the relic.

Pangu's Ax

::side note:: My sim had only a short amount of time to complete this mission before his vacation was up, so I did not try to find every hidden door in this temple. Instead I went directly through it. ::end note::

Mission: After convincing the locals you are worthy to know about the ax, and bringing lapis lazuli pieces to the local with the keystone, you can now enter the Temple of Heaven and retrieve Pangu's Ax.

The entrance to the lower levels is in the back right corner of the temple's grounds. Descend down the stairs.

Clear away the rubble.

Go down the stairs.

Put the keystone in the slot.

You enter this room. Collect the treasure from the chest. Continue through the hall.

Collect the treasure.

Go down the stairs.

Explore the dive well.

You can explore the other two dive wells, but nothing of interest is in them.

There is a water trap on the floor wherever there is a different floor tile color. Attempt to cross, disarm, or walk around them.

Collect the treasures in this room.

Continue through this room and climb the stairs.

Go down the stairs.

Try to avoid the traps.

Go up the stairs.

And down the stairs.

Disarm the trap to examine the hole in the wall.

Collect the treasure. Go up the stairs.

Retrieve Pangu's Ax off the wall. You can now report in, or smash the boulders that are in this tomb to access more treasure. You will now have Pangu's Ax to use in the other countries to smash boulders.

Market Caves Part 2/Dong Huo Treasure Trove

Mission: Convince the merchant to let you explore the tomb below his shop. Enter Dong Huo's treasure trove and collect his treasure.

Stand on the floor switch in the front of the marketplace to activate the stairs.

Examine the wall to open the hidden door. Collect the treasures. Read the plaque on the wall.

Go through this hall.

Insert the keystone into the slot.

Go down the stairs.

Read the plaque on the wall if you want to.

Steam trap here. Disable or attempt to cross it.

Now we have this monster of a room... You will need to find 4 crescent keystones to get through it. All are guarded by many poison dart traps. Remember that just about anywhere you can walk is booby-trapped. I will show you where the traps are, so hopefully you can guide your sim to walk around them if possible.

Disarm or attempt to cross these traps.

Dart traps will almost always put you to sleep for a short time. Your sim will have a hard time remaining in a good mood in this tomb.

Grab the keystone. If your sim ever needs to take care of a few needs, this room has a toilet and some comfy beds.

Disarm this wall trap.

Collect the treasures. Stand on the floor switch.

This opens the hidden door.

Go back around and pick up the keystone.

This treasure is guarded by a hidden electric trap. You don't have to get it if you don't want to...

Explore the dive pool to get the keystone.

Attempt to cross or disarm the traps behind me.

Examine the hole to disarm the traps.

Grab the treasure.

Examine the hole in the wall.

Go through the door here.

Collect the treasures and the keystone by clicking on the displays.

Now put the 4 keystones into the slots to activate the floor switches.

Each of the floor switches turns off a trap in the hall.

Pull the statues in front of the red one out so you can push the red statue onto the floor switch.

It unlocks the door.

Yay! You finished the adventure! Go collect all the treasure in each of the rooms and report in to the local.

Market Caves Part 1

Mission: A local has found a note that needs to be deciphered. After the merchant reads it for you, you find out the keystone you need is in the tomb under the market.

There is a hole in the ground behind the general merchant's store, it activates the stairs.

Look inside the sarcophagus and it will open the door. Then locate the hidden door on the far wall and collect the treasure in the room.

Mourn the graves to uncover a hole in the ground. Examine the hole.

Explore the dive pool to activate the hidden door.

Examine the hole in the floor to open the hidden door.

Collect the treasure, and continue down the hall.

Collect the coins. Go back the way you came.

Go through the door...

Your sim will come out in this room, move the statue onto the floor switch. You can't see it yet, but it opened a hidden door.

Pull the statue out of the way.

Collect the treasures.

Collect everything from the chests. You should now have the Dong Huo Keystone.

Mourn the graves to activate holes in the floor.

Ancient Monk Retreat

Mission: Find the sacred writings you saw in a vision underneath the Ancient Monk Retreat.

Stand on the floor switch to activate the stairs.

Examine the hole in the wall to unlock the hidden door. Collect the treasure from inside the chest.

Put the keystone in the slot to unlock the door.

Pull the statue away from the wall to reveal a hole in the wall. Examine the hole to activate 2 floor switches.

Move the statues onto the floor switches to unlock the door.

Go down the stairs.

Go down the hall and through the door.

Read the plaques on the wall. They give you hints about the rooms you are about to go in to.

The hint for this room was to keep out of the dark. That's because the dark floor tiles are all traps!

If your sim steps on one, they may have to put themselves out by jumping into the dive pool.

Push the statue onto the floor switch to unlock the door.

You found the sacred writings! You can deliver them, or continue exploring. The dive pool will bring you back to the one by the stairs.

The hint for this room is "timing is everything". As soon as the trap shuts off, click attempt to cross.

Open the chest and take the treasure.

The hint for this room is "a logical mind can solve anything." Or something like that. You have to activate the wall switches in a certain order to shut the traps off.

Now this tomb is done :] Go deliver the ancient writings.

Temple of the Dragon Part 1

Mission: A local has asked you to explore the Temple of the Dragon. He says you will find something, but will not tell you what. Report back to him once you have found what you are looking for.

Ooh. Fierce.

Inspect the door to get in.

Go down the stairs. There is a secret door behind the stairs. You will have to pull one of the statues out to gain entry.

Collect the coins.

The wall here is a hidden door.

There is a hidden door here too.

Pick up the coins...

clear the rubble, and examine the hole in the floor.

Collect the treasure from the chest in the corner.

There is a hidden door behind the book cases.

Collect the coins.

The secret door is here.

Clear the rubble, and look inside the sarcophagi.

Pull the statues out to get to the last two sarcophagi.

Go back upstairs to the main room, and go through this door.

There is a hidden door at the end of this hall. Collect the treasure inside of it.

When you enter this room you will get a message saying you have had a vision.
Push the statue onto the floor switch behind it to open the hidden door.

Collect what is in the chest. Report back to the local about your vision.

You cannot go any further into this temple yet because you do not have the required keystone.

Hall of the Lost Army

Adventure: A local has requested that you retrieve a relic from the Hall of the Lost Army and return it to her. She gives you a keystone to help you out.

Stand on the floor switch to activate the stairs.

Read the panel if you want to. Put the keystone in the slot.

Put the statue onto the floor switch to unlock the door.

Push the statue onto the floor switch. This activates a second to appear.

Stand on the floor switch.

Push one of the statues over the floor trap to deactivate it, and so you can get through.

Clear the rubble.

Stand on the floor switch to make a hole in the wall appear and a hidden door open.

Examine the hole to unlock the door.

Go through the hidden door to collect the treasures in the room.

Go through the door and explore the dive pool. Say yes to the tunnel question.

Collect the keystone from the chest in this room. Go back through the tunnel in the dive pool.

Put the keystone in the door.

Collect the treasure from the chests. Stand on the floor switch. Return the relic to the local.

Ahhh.. China. It is too beautiful here. :]

Remember to get your martial arts skill up to at least level five so you can complete some of the missions faster.... and so you don't look like this. o.O

For the China adventures I decided I will only do walkthroughs for the actual tombs, not for all the little missions in between. I had way too many snapshots cluttering up the folder. I cleaned the old pictures out, and I thought it wasn't really necessary to show you pictures of me doing all the other missions I know you have brains to do by yourselves. Besides, the tombs are what cause all the trouble anyway. :]
