(Nasdaq: MSFT) and LinkedIn Corporation (NYSE: LNKD) on Monday announced they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Microsoft will acquire LinkedIn for $196 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at $26.2 billion, inclusive of LinkedIn’s net cash. LinkedIn will retain its distinct brand, culture and independence. Jeff Weiner will remain CEO of LinkedIn, reporting to Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft. Reid Hoffman, chairman of the board, co-founder and controlling shareholder of LinkedIn, and Weiner both fully support this transaction.

LinkedIn Chief will remain President of the expert informal community, and will answer to President Satya Nadella.

Under the terms of the procurement, LinkedIn will look after its “particular image, society, and freedom.”

The arrangement is relied upon to be finished this logbook year.

Twitter passwords hacked

Just days after Facebook czar Mark Zuckerberg’s social media accounts were found to be hacked, it appears that more folks will need to change their passwords.

ZDNet reported that a Russian hacker claimed to have a massive cache of millions of Twitter account logins for sale, for 10 bitcoins or about $5,807. LeakedSource, which indexes hacked credentials from data breaches, noted in a blog post that the database, of which it received a copy, contains more than 32 million accounts.

The site explained that the passwords were stored as plain text and several of them seemed to belong to users in Russia. As such, it’s more likely that these credentials were obtained through malware attacks on users rather than a breach of Twitter’s systems.

A Twitter spokesperson said, “We are confident that these usernames and credentials were not obtained by a Twitter data breach – our systems have not been breached. In fact, we’ve been working to help keep accounts protected by checking our data against what’s been shared from recent other password leaks.”

LeakedSource added that the most commonly occurring password in the database is ‘123456’, followed by ‘123456789’, ‘qwerty’ and ‘password’. That’s dangerous because it means the accounts these are associated with could be hacked with just a little guesswork and wouldn’t even require malware.

The real danger is that many people use the same password on several sites; if an attacker gets a single user’s account for one online service, they could likely access other accounts like their email inboxes and cloud storage.

The news comes shortly after it was reported that hundreds of millions of Myspace and Tumblr credentials were put up for sale last week. In May, a Russian hacker claimed to have 117 million LinkedIn accounts available for just 5 bitcoins ($2,200).

गलती करने से बचें:
इसके बाद वोटर आई कार्ड को देखकर हर एक जानकारी को भरें। जो गलती आपके वोटर आई कार्ड पर उसे अच्‍छे से भरने की कोशिश करें कि दोबारा आपका कार्ड पूरी तरह से सही आए।

फोटो भ्‍ी सही करें:
वोटर आई कार्ड में फोटो को भी सही किया जा सकता है। इसके अलावा कलर फोटो व्‍हाइट बैकग्राउंड में अपलोड करें। ध्‍यान रहे किसी और कलर बैकग्राउंड में फोटो अपलोड करने पर निर्वाचर आयोग अस्‍वीकार कर देगा।

अगर बात की जाए लाइसेंस बनाने की कीमत की, तो आपको बता दें कि लर्निंग लाइसेंस 30 रुपये में बनाया जाएगा और स्थाई लाइसेंस 300 रुपये में बनाया जाएगा। जबकि इससे पहले कार्यालयों में 800 से लेकर 1000 रुपये का एक लाइसेंस बनाया जाता था।

I recently purchased The Roulette System to see what all the fuss was about. As a fairly good roulette player I really couldn't see what this guy could tell me that I didn't already know. Some of the worst systems I have come across have been roulette systems so I didn't have high hopes for this one.

The Roulette System is essentially 3 systems in one. The systems cover online roulette, slots and live roulette. I paid the discount price of £17, so I'm roughly paying £6 a system. For it to be worth my while I need to make at least £6 profit on each system. Which is nothing really, but what I really want is to get the promise of £2000 in two days.

I start with the main system and it seems like a fairly logical way of betting and isn't too dissimilar to the way I already bet. I am pleased that I don't have to bet high stakes and that I don't need to chase losses. Essentially the system is a staking progression, however unlike other staking progressions, this one is far easier to progress and my profit gradually increases.

After 5 hours playing I have £466 profit, having started with a £50 bank. Not quite as much as is made in the example, but still a very healthy profit. Now I discover I can't withdraw my money, this is explained in the manual and helpful information is given to ensure that once you profit you can actually remove it from the casino.

I start the slots systems armed with my £516 and aim to withdraw by the end of the night. This system is very easy but it does seem to work exactly how the creator says it will. It seems to me that he has worked out some flaw in the slots software and exploited it. My bank quickly rises to £817 after a massive £287 win on a £4.50 stake and over 3 hours of playing. I am tired so I call it a day and get some sleep.

The next day I log back in and manage to withdraw my money in 2 hours. My bank has slipped slightly and I have £747. I withdraw to my bank account, which is really easy and almost seems criminal.

So my total profit so far is £693, it took me two days so its not quite £2000, but I haven't even tried the live system, claimed any of the free £2871 or tried the other 18 casinos!

How 40,000 Home Routers Got Hijacked (and How to Fix Them)

Wi-Fi routers may be easy to get up and running, but more than 40,000 small-office and home routers in 109 countries -- including the United States -- have fallen victim to hackers in attacks that could have been prevented with minimal effort. Internet security firm Incapsula reports that these compromised routers are being remotely operated to send massive amounts of traffic to websites to take them offline.

According to Incapsula, these orchestrated distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks have been going on since at least December, when researchers first found evidence that malware called MrBlack had infected routers and gathered them into a botnet, a network of infected Internet-connected machines secretly working together.

This botnet of weaponized routers is made up primarily of small & home office routers made by Ubiquiti, a San Jose, California-based network-hardware maker. The vast majority of these devices -- 40,269 in total so far -- were easily hijacked and infected because the default administrative login credentials -- the username and password -- provided by Ubiquiti and the other vendors involved had not been modified after purchase.

Ubiquiti, whose routers are not exactly ubiquitous in the United States, sees 70 percent of its revenue coming from developing countries, including Brazil, Thailand and Indonesia, as well as richer countries such as the Czech Republic. In an emailed statement sent to The Security Ledger, Incapsula said that the well-meaning goals of Ubiquiti may have erred on the side of negligence:

"Ubiquiti Networks tried to do a good thing and bring Internet connection to Third World regions this year. Unfortunately, it's just been discovered that their routers are being actively exploited by hackers to field massive DDoS attacks, due to an overlooked exploit."

As any consumer who has ever set up their own router can attest, Ubiquiti is not the only manufacturer that does not require the user to put unique security settings in place. In fact, they are just one of many players operating by the same poor standards and practices.

The dangers of these routers being kept at system defaults go beyond being used as a pawn in a massive online blitz. Lax behavior puts personal information at risk as well. Owners of these exposed routers are vulnerable to having all communications monitored, and access granted to locally networked devices (such as Internet-connected security cameras and wireless printers).

The MrBlack malware isn't the only piece of software being used to usurp control of these routers -- others have also been found infecting the routers in this particular botnet.

Fortunately, the solution is simple. Incapsula advises router owners to change their routers' default administrative login usernames and passwords. We at Tom’s Guide also recommend more simple steps, including changing your router’s name from its branded default (i.e. "Netgear" or "Linksys") to something more obscure, and making sure your router's firmware is always up to date.
