Wii to feature in South Park

Episode 12 of south park showed us how Cartman couldn't wait for the Wii, so much so he froze him self and landed in the year 2546, 500 years in the future.

now part 2 of the episode shows on Comedy central on Wednesday in America (check your local listings) and the download will appear here* not long afterwards. what will happen to Cartman, will he get to play with a Wii or not we will see.

while surfing the Internet, at major nelsons blog a comment showed that the UK version of xbox.com was showing as part of a banner a gears of war demo.

now if this is true it would be going back on what they said, when saying there would be no prerelease demo.

of course this could be a mix up, to be honest we don't know.

the full version of GOW has been leaked onto a website which I wont link directly to. but this also happened to halo 2 with a french version leaked.

of course this could be a fake its hard to tell. but these things can cause problems

Right to start off at TGS Microsoft saved most of there big announcements of X06 but there were still one real big announcement in that the xbox will be able to display 1080p the last real advantage that Sony`S Ps3 had. But X06 was a totally different story I am going to list them:

A bunch of exclusives such as Splinter cell double agent
The HD-DVD drive to cost £129.99 in the UK and $199 in the USA
Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh making a new halo game
speaking of halo, ensemblem studios the guys behind Age of empires are making a Halo RTS for the xbox 360 (although it may be on the PC I have seen conflicting reports)
Guitar hero 2 at the show
Doom on XBLA for 800 MP

and other stuff which I cant remember

and now for my new favorite game, DEFCON.

this game is based the film wargames and basically its all out thermonuclear war its very simple to play only 60mb well worth your money, its available from STEAM or there website DEFCON site

I just saw this and wanted to post it before I jump on the plane for Tokyo:
After the success of the ‘Bringing it home’ campaign at E3 earlier this year…it’s back for TGS and X’06! Of course that means I’ll be posting details each day as I find out what is headed for Marketplace.

Yes friends 3 years of work by the Halogen team has been wasted when Microsoft sent a cease and desist order to the team. I wish the best to the Halogen team and hope they get back on there feet soon

HL2 Episode 1 Black hole grenade

This is a rather interesting find by a guy by the name Romeojguy, he has found by entering two lines of code into the HL2 Episode 1 console he had gained the "black hole grenade", I have personaly tried and tested this and i can confirm it does work although don't activate with god mode on or your game will crash. anyway's enough of me going on here's the line that need to be entered separately

Apoc sends word that the new C&C 3 trailer will make its debut on SpikeTV today at 12:00 AM. The trailer will also be featured on MTV's Overdrive channel and GameTrailers.com tomorrow, August 20th, as well as on numerous online sites throughout the next week. According to Apoc, the trailer is "hot, high-impact, and will make you want to get on a plane to Leipzig, Germany to see the game in action next week."

Texas Hold'em' update for xbox live arcade

Now back at CES they announced that there would be a Texas Hold'em' game for the xbox live arcade, when they announced that they said it would be a free game, not that's not the case so to speak, the game will be free for the first 48 hrs of release on August 23rd at 12:01 pacfic time or 08:01 gmt and after that it will cost I believe 800 MPP (marketplace points).

Now I started this blog back at CES which was months ago, I made two posts which have been deleted by my self, because of there outdated and not really relevant.

Now about my self, im a 16 year old student from England I have a big interest in PC gaming and Console gaming, now from the outset im not the biggest Sony fan, I owned a PS1 and a PS2 which I still have but with the PS3 from what I can seen they are being very arrogant saying how the PS3 is full of potential and makes some part of using the PC useless, now of course i will be posting PS3 but not as much as some people may think.

Now for the first peace of news on this blog will follow this post.
