Hi Guys,
Today, we will see a small easy trick, but very good to annoy friends and make them weird! we are gonna to change the AM/PM symbol to your desired text of string, i.e you can write your own name too!

STEPS TO DO THIS!!!

1) Go to Start Menu>>Settings>>Control Panel and Click and open it!

2) If you have pre-settled Category view then just switch to Classic View!

The picture does not appear
- Check to make sure the signal cable is firmly connected in the socket.
- Check to see if the computer system's power is ON.
- Check that the Brightness Control is at the appropriate position, not at the minimum.
The Screen is not synchronized
- Check to make sure the signal cable is firmly connected in the socket.

Optimization Tips for Adbrite

Adbrite is not contextual like Adsense, so the click through rate is a bit low. The best option with adbrite is the full-page advertisement and the in-text advertisement. I have tested adbrite recently and got nice clicks from the in-text ads. Since my site is full of content so the in-text ads work good. The full-page ads are usually impression based, and my traffic is not that huge, so I did not make much with the full-page CPM ads.

So, to start with here are a few steps to maximize your adbrite earnings.

Un-check the auto-approve of ads, and don’t approve ads below 10 cents.
Give a nice description of your website, remember most of the advertisers you will catch from the adbrite market place.

Get the big rectangles, as that is the best performing ads for any network.

Put up as many tags as you can, in the keywords field. Use the dictionary if you run out of keywords.

Make the color of the ads text and background same as rest of your website.

If the ads are a banner, only approve the really high CPC ads, like 50 cents or more, and for CPM ads banner, choose max you can.

This article explains how to share large files with either your friends (privately) or with anyone (publicly) using Bittorrent and uTorrent, optionally using uTorrent's built in embedded tracker..

Introduction

What are the options when you want to send a 4.3GB DVD folder to your family, relatives and friends? Rapidshare? Megaupload? Or MSN? The free hosts have some limits. And MSN is not designed for this - just imagine if the file stalled at the 97% mark!

Enter Bittorrent - an efficient protocol to share your files with anyone, anywhere. You can share files privately within only people you trust, or publicly with anyone.

Starting off...

You will first need to install and optimize utorrent for maximum speed. This has already been covered in another guide. Please follow it first.

A tracker is needed for all peers to connect to for a updated list of peers. Fortunately, utorrent already comes with a built-in tracker that we will be using for this guide. If you want to use another tracker, get the announcer URL from the site. You will also need to upload the torrent to the site with the appropriate title and description for others to find.

Pros and Cons of Using uTorrent's Built-In Embedded Tracker

Private. Only you and the people you send the torrent to know about your torrent.	Your IP address must not change. This can be somewhat subverted with services like No-ip but the downloaders will be need to be told specifically to refresh their DNS when your IP changes

Starting the Private Tracker (Optional)

This step is only necessary if you are using uTorrent's built in embedded tracker. If you are using public trackers, it is not needed and you can skip to the next step.

Start uTorrent (if it is already not running)
You need to know your IP address. Your IP address must also NOT change until at least one peer has downloaded the full file. If your IP address changes, no one can connect to you and the torrent will stall as the peers will not know your new IP. However, the activity between peers will continue, just that new peers will not be able to join the torrent.

Check that your port is opened properly by entering your port number below and clicking Submit. Ensure that uTorrent is running before submitting.

When you click Submit, there should be a OK! word with a green background as shown in the screen shot below. If not, please see the guide on how to port forward as port forwarding MUST work.

The above is just an example. You will need to substitute it with your IP address and port number.

We will need this tracker URL later, so note it down somewhere for now.
In utorrent, go to Options > Preferences > Advanced
Change the Value of bt.enable_tracker to true

On the left, click Bittorrent
Set the IP/Hostname to report to tracker to your IP address we identified just now. You only need the IP address, do not include the port number. In my example, it would be:

209.85.171.100
You're set! Click OK.

Creating the Torrent

You cannot change any part of the torrent once it is created.

Same as when you send a file via MSN to someone, you don't modify the file while sending it.

Place all your files that you want to share in one folder.
Start uTorrent (if it is already not running)
Click File and then Create New Torrent...
Under Select Source, select the folder containing the files you want to share by clicking on Add directory
Under Trackers: add your tracker server. If you are using utorrent's built-in tracker, follow the format stated above. For example, if my port number is 55641 and IP address is 209.85.171.100, my tracker server will be:

http://209.85.171.100:55641/announce
If you are using utorrent's built-in tracker, under Trackers, add another line with an entry replacing your IP address with 'localhost' but leaving the port as the same. For example, if my port number is 55641

http://localhost:55641/announce
Add a comment to describe your torrent under Comment (Optional)
Check the boxes Start seeding and Private torrent. If you are putting this torrent in a public network for *anyone* to download (e.g. ISOHunt or MiniNova), do NOT check Private Torrent.

It should now look something like this:

Create New Torrent, with the boxes filled in. If you are not using utorrent's built in embedded tracker, you don't need to have the 2nd line under Trackers
You're almost set! To make the torrent, click 'Create and save as...'. uTorrent will begin hashing the files and then asks you where to save the resulting torrent file. Put in a location you can remember. You need this file later.
Click Close.
You should see the torrent in your list with a green up arrow () with the status Seeding.
1. If the arrow is red and you are using the built-in tracker,
  1. Did you set the port correctly?
  2. Did you add the localhost entry as stated above?
  3. Did you set bt.enable_tracker to true?
  4. Double-click the torrent and check the list of Trackers. If it is wrong, delete and recreate the torrent again.

Getting your Friend to Download

Just send the torrent to your friend and your friend just has to add it to his favorite bittorrent software as downloading any other torrent!

Send the torrent file that you saved in the previous step to all the people you want to share the files with.
Your friends simply need to add the torrent to their favorite bittorrent software such as uTorrent, Bit Comet, Azureus, etc..

Checking For Activity

Give it some time (up to 5 minutes) for your friend to connect to you depending on whether you have port forwarding working. You should see your upload rate start to increase with every peer that begins to download from you.

Some public trackers may request utorrent to update trackers at only a certain interval (e.g. 30 minutes). If you are not able to right-click the torrent and click 'Update Tracker', the only thing you can do is wait till utorrent gets a new list of peers from the tracker. uTorrent's embedded tracker updates every 5 minutes.

Must my friend use a torrent client to download my files?
Yes, but you don't really have to install any software to download it. Sites such as Torrent Relay and BitLet allow a user to download the torrent without installing any software. However, when you use such sites, you are letting those sites know information about the torrent you are downloading.

My internet is slow! / Online gaming is very laggy! / Can I control how much upload bandwidth I use for a particular torrent?
You need to slow down your upload rate. Right-click the utorrent icon in the bottom right at the system try > Upload Limit > (set a lower rate).

My peers are receiving the error messages "invalid http reply" or "connection closed by peer"?
Most likely your ISP is interferring with the utorrent server. The workaround is to tell your peers to manually add your IP to the peer list. Assuming your peers are using uTorrent,

Click on the torrent row
Click on the Peers tab at the bottom area
Right-click anywhere on a blank area in the list that appears for that tab
Click "Add Peer..."
Enter the IP address and port number of the person hosting the file. For example, following my example above, I would tell my peers to add

209.85.171.100:55641
Click OK
You should see a new peer appear on the list. The tracker errors will continue and can be ignored.

Another alternative would be to use public trackers instead. Note that using public trackers can end in people you don't know downloading your torrent.

Bulk convert HTML, RTF, etc. documents to PDF using the Mac OS X command line or an AppleScript

OS X has PDF printing support built into all applications, and this PDF support can be used from the command line or in an AppleScript script / application to convert virtually any kind of document to the PDF format.

In the example below there are five HTML files (file1.html, file2.html, …, file5.html) that have to be converted to a single PDF (all.pdf).

It requires JavaScript code to be written within the HTML content, which is usually considered bad form.
The ‘document.write‘ statement executes where it’s encountered, it cannot inject code at a given node point.
The ‘document.write‘ statement effectively writes serialised text, which is not the way the DOM works conceptually and is an easy way to create bugs.
The ‘document.write‘ statement breaks pages using XML rendering (e.g. XHTML pages)
It loads ga.js directly, blocking browsers from continuing page rendering or content downloading (such as scripts, stylesheets or images) for as long as it takes ga.js to download and execute.

Back and forward or other toolbar buttons are missing or disappeared in Mozilla FireFox Browser

This article describes how to restore Firefox's default toolbar configuration if the Back button, Forward button, or other toolbar buttons are missing.

Showing the Navigation Toolbar

If you can't see any of the toolbar buttons (Back, Forward, Reload, Stop, Home) or the Location bar, you may have the Navigation Toolbar hidden. Click the Firefox View menu, select the Toolbars sub-menu. If there is not a check mark next to Navigation Toolbar, click on it to put a check mark by it.

If showing the Navigation Toolbar does not restore your missing buttons, continue to the next section.

Restore the default toolbar set

To put the toolbar buttons back into their default places:

Click the Firefox View menu, and then select the Toolbars sub-menu, then click the Customize... item to open the Customize Toolbar window.
Click Restore Default Set
Click Done to dismiss the Customize Toolbars window.

The default toolbar buttons should now appear in their default locations. If you would like to rearrange your toolbar items, see How to customize the toolbar. If your toolbar buttons are still missing, continue to the next section.

Reset toolbars and controls

If the above methods fail to restore your toolbar buttons:
First, start Firefox's Safe Mode:

Close down Firefox completely: At the top of the Firefox window, click the File menu, and select the Exit menu item.
In Windows, click Start, open the All Programs list, and navigate to the Mozilla Firefox folder. In the Mozilla Firefox folder, select Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode).Hold down the Option key, as you start Firefox.
Go to your Terminal and run:

firefox -safe-mode
```
You may need to specify the Firefox installation path (e.g. /usr/lib/firefox-3.5).
Firefox should start up with a Firefox Safe Mode dialog.
Note: You can also start Firefox in Safe Mode by clicking Start, selecting Run (or use the Start Search box in Windows Vista) and then entering the following in the text field:

```
Check mark Reset toolbars and controls.
Click Make Changes and Restart to restart Firefox

There are a number of users who are noticing that their PC will no longer automatically power down/shut off without pressing the power off button on the computers unlike in Windows Me/95/2000. There could be a number of reasons for this - but the main one seems to be that ACPI is not enabled on the computer or in Windows XP. Here is how to try that out:

Under Windows 98, Me, or 2000 there was an option in the shutdown dialog box to enter the computer into hibernation (where all the content of the RAM is copied to the hard disk). The shutdown dialog box of Windows XP doesn't offer any longer the hibernation button. Some users may get confused about how to enable the hibernation mode. If this mode is supported by your motherboard (ACPI) you have to do the following:

Click Start and Shut Down,
Point the standby button and maintain the shift key pushed,
A new hibernation button appears: click it while still holding the shift key: voila your PC will hibernate.

How to create a boot disk

This is quite simple.
1: Go into MY COMPUTER
2: Have a floppy disk in your drive and then RIGHT click on on the floppy drive and then click on FORMAT
3: You will be greeted with a number of options. The one you need to select is "Create an MS-DOS start up disk".
4: Click ok

Note: This requires up to 5 floppy disks and DOES NOT contain ANY CD-ROM drivers to boot from. A proper CD-ROM boot up disk is going to be release by Microsoft after the Windows XP public release. You can however use you old Windows Me start-up disk if you would prefer, as long as you have not upgraded to an NTFS drive.

XP to directly access WebDAV "internet disks"

Windows XP can directly access WebDAV "internet disks" such as Apple's iDisk.

In Internet Explorer, use the "Open..." command, type the name of the WebDAV server you want to access (e.g., http://idisk.mac.com/username) and select the "Open as Web Folder" checkbox. Enter the password when prompted and you're in!

This trick also works on Windows Me and Windows 2000. Interestingly, Windows XP doesn't seem to support iDisk via the "Add a Network Place" command, possible with these other operating systems.

Once set up using the "Open" command, however, the idisk can be accessed by simply double-clicking its icon in the Network Places folder.

Reduce Temporary Internet File Space

The temporary internet files clutter your hard drive with copies of each page visited. These can build up over time and take up disk space. Even more bothersome is that instead of getting new pages each time IE often takes the page out the temp internet files. This can be a problem if you are viewing a website that is updated all the time. If you are on a slow connection such as a 56K or lower then this can be good but if you are on a fast broadband connection, like me, then you can get away with decreasing the size of your temp internet files to just one meg without any performance decrease.

Launch Internet Explorer.
Select the Tools from the menu bar.
Then select Internet Options... from the drop down menu.
Once the internet options has loaded click on the general tab.
Under the temporary internet files section click the settings button.
A settings window will load. Slide the slider all the way to the left so the size indicated in the text box on the right is one.
Click OK

When I first saw the default search pane in Windows XP, my instinct was to return it to its classic look; that puppy had to go. Of course, I later discovered that a doggie door is built into the applet. Click "Change preferences" then "Without an animated screen character." If you'd rather give it a bare-bones "Windows 2000" look and feel, fire up your Registry editor and navigate to:

If you have to reinstall Windows XP you normally will have to reactivate too. Well not anymore. Just copy wpa.dbl after you activated the first time. It is located in the WINDOWS\system32 folder. Now if you reinstall Windows XP just copy the file back and you're up and running again.

Look through the driver source code provided with the DDK for a sample that represents your device type. Use the sample code where possible, modifying it for your device's specifics.
The sample code can enhance your understanding of Windows XP driver implementation requirements and speed your development time.
Compile and build your driver. This should be done using the Build utility and not some other compiler, because the Build utility has certain features that are necessary for driver development.
Obtain a checked build of Windows XP, so that you can test and debug your driver using free and checked system builds.
The checked build of Windows XP provides extensive kernel-mode debugging capabilities not available in the free build.
Create an INF file so that you can install and test your driver.
Test and debug your driver. You should use Driver Verifier, a program that puts your driver through a variety of tests, stresses, and deliberate failures in order to test its response and reliability in many extreme situations. You should also use a debugger. Microsoft provides several powerful debuggers that can monitor and debug kernel-mode and user-mode drivers.
Using Driver Verifier in conjunction with these debuggers, on both the checked and free versions of the operating system, can be a powerful way to test your driver.
Provide an installation package so that customers can install devices that use your driver.
Submit your driver and installation package to Microsoft so that it can be digitally signed.
