Some accessories are born to become icons, like my Louis Vuitton Neverfull Damier Ebene that has been my loyal companion in my trips and adventures all over the world.
“Her traveller destiny” was already written: I saw “her” for the first time in the windows of the 5th avenue Louis Vuitton store in one of my first trips to New York, I admired it and thought about reasons to avoid trying it on. Of course I didnt find any of them: five minutes later I looked at ourselves together in the mirror for the first time, and I understood that some relationships really start with love at first sight.
In these four years together she’s has been everywhere with me: from Thailand to Los Angeles, from Brazil to Tokyo, never tired and always ready to make me feel chic in a second, even after twelve hours of flying.
And here “she” is again with me, in a new Louis Vuitton adventure (do you remember about my Speedy adventures?): this time my Neverfull Damier Ebene poses with me in front of the camera in the iconic Forte Dei Marmi.
The photos are shot at Hotel Augustus, hystorical location which became popular in the 50s and 60s, years that inspired this photoshoot.
My Neverfull also managed to do this: “she” stopped the time and made me feel like a pinup from the 50s.
It’s all written in “her” name: she’s never full and always ready for new surprises.

Certi oggetti nascono per diventare un’icona, come la mia Louis Vuitton Neverfull Damier Ebene che da anni mi accompagna nei miei viaggi ed avventure in giro per il mondo.
Il “suo destino” da viaggiatrice era d’altronde gia’ stabilito sin dall’inizio: l’ho vista per la prima volta nella vetrina dello store di 5th Avenue in uno dei miei primi viaggi a New York, l’ho ammirata e ho cercato di pensare a qualche buona ragione per cui non entrare a provarla.
Motivi per cui non farlo naturalmente non ce n’erano: cinque minuti dopo la vedevo per la prima volta insieme a me, e capivo che certi rapporti nascono veramente cosi, con un colpo di fulmine che ti fa battere il cuore.
In questi quattro anni insieme lei ha sempre viaggiato con me: dalla Thailandia a Los Angeles, dal Brasile a Tokyo, mai stanca e sempre pronta a farmi sentire subito chic, anche dopo un volo aereo di dodici ore.
Ed eccola ancora qui con me, in una nuova avventura firmata Louis Vuitton (vi ricordate le mie avventure con la Speedy?): questa volta la mia Neverfull Damier Ebene posa insieme a me davanti all’obbiettivo nell’iconica Forte Dei Marmi, luogo di villeggiatura da sempre sinonimo di quiete e di eleganza.
Le foto sono state scattate all’Hotel Augustus, location storica che ha visto il successo negli anni ’50 e ’60 e a cui naturalmente queste foto sono ispirate.
La mia Neverfull e’riuscita anche in questo: ha fermato il tempo e mi ha fatta sentire una vera pinup anni ’50.
D’altronde e’ gia’ tutto scritto nel suo nome: da sempre e’ “never-full” e piena di sorprese.

Casual days are the absolute best! I wore this to a busy day shooting a video in the morning, creating my bracelet in the afternoon, and finally heading to Tagaytay with my friends straight after that! With so many things going on, I couldn’t be bothered to wear something other than a casual and comfy outfit! Flats were a definite must, and since I figured I was travelling to somewhere colder- a sweater too! For some reason, casual outfits like these always make me feel at home- even when I’m not! It must be the laid backprobinsyana in me! What do you think?Casual days are the absolute best! I’ve found a new addiction- jeans! The simplicity and casualness of it is just soooo raw and strangely, so sexy! I guess when you go back to the essentials after some time layering print on print on print or texture on pattern on color, everything just becomes so basic, so fresh and ultimately so bare it feels dangerous! And we all know that danger equates to sexiness! I’m not saying I’m sexy- far from it, but wearing jeans makes me feel so confident, and that’s an important part of any fashion story! To amplify this thought, I went all out and chose basic black with touches of gold to really go for simplicity and make my jeans stand out. Heck, I even threw back my bangs and went for a dangerously exposed forehead! (#GirlsWithBangs can totally relate) I’m not sure if it was my outfit that day or just the hair away from my already squinting eyes that made me realize: I need more simple days like this in my life! Is it time for another style evolution? Have I grown out the teenage obsession for hearts, frills and all things cutesy? I’m keepin’ it real here. Who really has all the luxury to dress up in heels and look fab all the time? Bloggers? Well, no. If you aren’t a billionaire housewife who’s just naturally gorgeous with sweat-proof skin and make up, then yeah, maybe you. But for the rest of us normal girls out there, we need rest days! Here’s what I have on when I’m lazy- a loose top, some loose normal fitting trousers, a huge dump-all tote, clean make up and the comfiest flats in the world. Doesn’t this look like something a mom would wear? (No offence, moms!) It’s chic practicality! #ImSoMature #GrowingUp A girl’s gotta be comfy, and she’s gotta listen to her body! I’ve always loved total black looks and it’s one of the easy-to-wear outfits. I usually choose it for night outfits but this time I decided to try it during the day. Comfortable flats, shorts and another lace tshirt bought in Madrid (i’m in love with the collar) and then “her”: my new Fendi Peekaboo, found thanks to UNIQUE WAY , very useful website which is connected to the most important luxury ecommerce online. Sunday spent on the Trebbia, a marvellous river near Piacenza where I’ve always been since I was a child, I have so many happy memories of it. i LOVE these jeans. zara, you’re a genius. i was so excited about wearing them that i ended up melting outside in this heat, but hey, no pain, no gain right? or something like that. matched with the only peplum i’ve ever worn, and that’s probably because it almost goes unnoticed in this because of the busy floral print. then some black accessoires (said in a french accent, yes), et voila! (might as well continue with the whole french thing). by the way, isn’t this little mini purse thing so cute? imagine a little kitten just popping out. hey, if people buy strollers for dogs, i’m gonna buy purses for kittens.

The secret is out! Pandoooora! I’m sooo happy to be able to collaborate with this brand because I’ve been a fan of it for so long! My mom gave my sisters and I Pandora bracelets that we could fill with charms everytime we reached a milestone or experienced a new adventure. It’s because of this that I hold my Pandora bracelet so close to heart! Can you imagine how excited I was when the brand called me and asked me to document my unforgettable moments with them? #IDied.

Lissa, Cams and I headed over to the Pandora store at Bonifacio High Street right before we went on our mini getaway (which would explain my un-matching choice of outfit lol). We went crazy over the many hundred charms available! It was so hard to choose because a lot of them really fit our personalities!

For charm bracelets, you can choose from a single or double leather strap, sterling silver or 14k gold metal bracelet. Since I already have the silver one from my mom, and the gold one is waaaaay beyond my budget (120k for just the plain strand!!!) I opted to go with a double leather strap instead!

What’s nice about their store display is that they have a lot of ready made bracelets that you can just buy as a set if you’re planning to give it as a gift- especially if you don’t have the time to make one yourself! They’re all really beautifully matched too!

Voila! This is my creation! Since my old Pandora bracelet already had charms that signified experiences in my life, I decided to make my new bracelet a symbol of my style instead! This one is very young, classy and modern all at the same time. Plus, there’s a little chick charm (my nickname is sisiw, Filipino for chick) to add a hint of quirkiness and character to it! So me, right?

Thanks a bunch to Pandora for giving us this awesome opportunity to immortalize our most unforgettable moments! Can’t wait to fill my bracelet with more charms as life goes on!

Back Packing

I told you I’d dress more like a young school girl while I still can, and I wasn’t kidding! I’m really enjoying my casual spree (and so are my feet!)

I got this gorgeous backpack all the way from the UK, and I’ve been using it for the past week! So expect a repeat of this on my upcoming posts! Can you blame me? It’s just so beautiful! I never expected myself to be a sucker for backpacks!

Also, because I’ve cultivated a totally unhealthy obsession for hats, I decided I needed a fedora break and a baseball cap intervention. This one has a cute neon peek-a-boo detail that I totally love!

In all actuality, this look just confirms my stance on dressing with a formula. It’s the same principle: top, shorts, coverup- voila! I just added a few things here and there to add interest and dimension to the look!

Pure pristine leather beauty.

And of course, because my feet are seriously dead from all my high heel torture days, I chose comfortable Sperry’s to save my sole. Silver ones like these instantly match my outfits and add a glam factor more than the regular colored ones.

I love printed dresses. You just pop one on and you’re solved! There’s no need for a matching top or bottom, no need for excessive accessories and no need for what-to-wear related headaches! I always make sure to stock up on pretty dresses whenever I can, for all those days when you’re in a rush and can’t be bothered to think about what to wear. I especially love this one I have on because the prints come in the brightest primary hues that make it all the more fun to dress up!

It might seem scary to match colored shoes and a colored bag with a heavily colored dress, but as long as you pick the sublte colors from a print and bring them out in your accessories, it should be no problem. I actually wanted to pair this dress with a nice nude pump from Aldo Shoes, but I figured these teal ones would make me look more youthful and summery! What do you think?

Half and Half

Here’s a dress up tip for today: Sometimes I find that the easiest solution to “what shoes do I wear with this?” kind of problems is to match your heels to the color of the bottoms you are wearing. I do a sort of half-and-half kind of technique where my top half is a texture/print party in a single hue and the bottom in another, and it usually works! What do you think?
