Have you heard other Captains talking about mysterious purple containers appearing in their Port? Do you like the idea of getting rewards for sitting on your couch and watching World of Warships?

What are Twitch Drops and how are they changing?
We launched our first ever Twitch Drops campaign a while ago, rewarding you with special containers for watching us or other streamers play World of Warships on Twitch.
We’ve received a great deal of good feedback from you about this and will be expanding on the concept this April with… SPACE DROPS!

Azur Lane collaboration part 2

We are ready to announce the details of the new Azur Lane collaboration.
This time new content is not limited to Commanders with original voice line packs, but also features ships, port, a new Collection and more.
We already have 7 Azur Lane Commanders, but this event will bring 8 more:
Neptune, Prinz Eugen, Dunkerque, Atago, Azuma, Montpelier, Yukikaze and Kaga.

Two new ships will come into game: USN tier VIII cruiser Montpelier and Japanese tier VIII destroyer Yukikaze.

The room from Azur Lane will become a special port, complemented by background music.

NEW Azur Lane Collection will be available, the reward for completing it — Commander Azuma.

Further information will be available on the Official Portal.

We would like to remind you that you can hide the special commanders using the Additional Content settings panel.

IMPORTANT! Because the information in this Article is tentative and reflects the state of game development at the time of its publication. Some changes and new features may be removed entirely or implemented differently by the time the Update goes live. Commanders! Welcome to the Public Test of update 0.8.3!

Take part in the friendly "Victory" competition, moor your ships at the updated Black Sea Port, and try out new camouflages!

Round 2 schedule

Taking into account your feedback, we have updated the texts and visual appearance of the competition "Victory".
Now the difficulty levels are called "Normal", "High", "Very high" and "Impossible". This will allow you to understand how difficult the current tasks are for one of the teams, and to assess the strength required to perform the Daily reward tasks.
Rewards are now indicated by two values: normal and increased.
The "Daily reward" block is above the "Will to Victory" block, because of its importance in allowing you to quickly find your progress for the current day.
Information about the current difficulty level has been added to the "Daily reward" block.
Now, when entering the competition page, the section with personal achievements opens first.
Personal missions, which may occur in battle, are renamed to ‘Personal orders’ to more closely match the style of the event.
Removed the Personal orders with the condition of earning "Shot down" ribbons, due to the high complexity of their implementation into Cooperative battles.
The British aircraft carrier branch was added to the Tech tree on the Public Test.
Fixed bugs from the first session of the Public Test.

Special Features of the Update Test

Personal combat missions drop when you enter a Random or Co-op Battle.
In the "Victory" event, points can be earned:
In Co-op Battles for destroying enemy ships, winning battles, and completing personal combat missions.
In Random Battles, for earning heroic or honorable achievements, in addition to destroying enemy ships, winning battles, and completing personal combat missions.
In Ranked Battles, for winning battles only.
The Ranked Battles Season is held in the Arms Race mode on Tier IX ships.

Ranked Battles settings will be different for different sessions. During the first session, the season comprises three ranks of two stars each. During the second, the Ranked sprint comprises three ranks of one star each.

Please note that the crediting of points in the "Victory" event will cease one day prior to the end of Round 2 of the Public Test.

Combat Missions and Rewards

Play one Random or Co-op Battle:

Reward on the live server: three signals of each type, excluding special signals.

Play 3 battles on aircraft carriers in Random or Co-op Battles:

Reward on the live server: ten "Type 6" camouflage patterns.

Win 5 battles using Tier X ships in Random Battles.

Reward on the live server: 1 day of Warships Premium Account time

Achieve Rank 1 in the test Ranked Battles Season.

Reward on the live server: five of each of the following special signals: Dragon, Wyvern, Red Dragon, Ouroboros, Hydra.

Achieve Rank 1 in the test Ranked Battles Sprint.

Reward on the live server: five of each of the following special signals: Dragon, Wyvern, Red Dragon, Ouroboros, Hydra.

Earn 100 Allowance Tokens in the friendly "Victory" competition.

Reward on the live server: 2,500 Coal

Earn 250 Allowance Tokens in the friendly "Victory" competition.

Reward on the live server: 5,000 Coal

You must register your Public Test account with the same email address as your live account in order to collect your rewards. No exceptions. If your Public Test account is registered to an email address that differs from your live server account email address, make sure you register a new Public Test account using your live server account email address.

Update 0.8.2.0.1

At 06:00 CEST (UTC+2) this Wednesday, two important changes will be made. We will update the limit on the number of Aircraft Carriers in Random Battles, and fix an issue with incorrect dropping of bombs.

The update will be rolled out on the server side which means you won't need to download any extra content for the client.

We introduced a soft limit on the number of Aircraft Carriers in tier X battles, now in the majority of instances, no more than one carrier will be per team. But if the matchmaker fails to assemble a battle during the three minutes that the first player in the queue spends waiting to enter the battle a maximum of two carriers may matched per team. In Tier X battles (Tier VIII-X), situations with three carriers per team will no longer be possible.While the number of battles with two carriers per team will be reduced drastically

Bear in mind, however, that the above rules will be only apply to battles involving Tier VIII-X ships. At lower tiers, the previous rules will apply, allowing up to three carriers per team to be matched to a battle. This is due to an increased popularity of carriers at those tiers, and their overall weaker influence on the outcome of a battle.

Fixed an issue with the drop trajectory of a bomb being calculated incorrectly. The issue resulted in a targeted ship receiving more bomb slightly "touched" the target with its edge.

Fixed an issue with the Radio Location skill continuing operate, even after the ship has been destroyed.

In Update 0.8.2, you can take your place at the helmets of an array of spaceships and engage in battles on unknown distant planets!

All Players with access to combat missions and test their Service Record are eligible for Space Battles. Beginners in World of Warships will have to play 70 battles in any of the available modes before being granted access.
