Near Fatal Samurai Sword Accident

Alright, you tape this apple to your head and I will chop it in half with a samurai sword. I don't know about you but I would not be at either end of this deal. I guess we know who got the short end of the stick.

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (AP)

-In a shocking event, A 6 year old boy brought a loaded handgun to his Southern California elementary school and it wasn't discovered until recess when he was sent to the campus office because his pants were sagging.

-Apparently the .45-caliber handgun slipped down the first-grader's pant leg, Wednesday, while a clerk at the Victorville school was helping him put on a belt. San Bernardino County sheriff's spokeswoman Karen Hunt says the boy took the gun from his father's vehicle.

-Investigators in the town about 80 miles west of Los Angeles say the weapon was stolen during a November robbery. The boy's father Michael Lewis has now been arrested and booked for investigation of receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm by a felon.

-The 6-year-old boy, who will be expelled under the school's zero-tolerance weapons policy, has been released to the custody of his mother.

These are some of the smallest working pistols in the world. The first time I watched this video I could not believe you could actually load a miniature bullet in and fire it. Apparently there are only blanks available for this miniature gun.

These guns are not being sold at the moment but you can find a collection of miniature guns for sale at Bob Urso's webpage.

Miniature firearms are dangerous and proper gun handling procedres should be applied

- A Daveyton man is alive and a robber dead on Thursday after assailants tried to shoot the man with a gun that misfired, Gauteng police said.

-The 36-year old man was walking to work at 04:00 when he was confronted by three robbers, said Captain Alfred Nakana.

-"The robbers demanded cash and his cellphone at gunpoint," he said.
One of the robbers tried to shoot the 36-year-old but luckily his weapon jammed.
"His firearm was loaded with different kinds of ammunition," said Nakana.

-This gave the 36-year-old man enough time to draw and fire his own licenced firearm, shooting his assailant.

-Nakana said the robber, in his twenties, died instantly. His two accomplices fled the scene. The misloaded gun was unlicensed and stolen, said Nakana.

-A case of attempted armed robbery and possession of a stolen firearm had been opened. Nakana said police were still looking for the other two robbers.

-Craig Buford was just 19 years old when he went to pick up a girlfriend from school in Denver and wound up in a card game with some other guys gathered at the campus parking lot.
He won some money and one of the guys he was gambling with demanded his money back. Craig refused, and the suspect took out his gun and shot him.

-Despite his injuries, he was able to drive himself to a local hospital and informet the police of the 17-year-old suspect who shot him. Craig was later released from the hospital in good health, and moved on with his life, left Colorado and moved to Seattle, and finally settled down in Texas.

-He got married and rarely talked about the day he was shot all those years ago.

-And then in December, the now 54-year-old Buford began having health problems. He went into the hospital where doctors performed surgery and discovered that his colon had ruptured.

-He died December 29th and doctors say it was the result of organ failure from complications of the bullet wound inflicted all those years ago.

-Now authorities have a new problem. They've ruled his death a homicide but can't find the man they believe pulled the trigger. Computer records are non-existent from 1973 and many of the files on what was then a non-fatal incident have long since disappeared. And police fear they may never be able to charge anyone in connection to the man's death.

-"After 35 years has passed, that might be a pretty tall order," admits Lynn Kimbrough of the Denver District Attorney's Office.
His widow, already reeling from the loss of her spouse, is stunned that her husband's death is being called a murder. "He never had any serious health problems, so I was a little surprised to hear all this homicide business after all these years," Carolyn Buford told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

-Buford adds her husband never made a big deal about the incident, and even ran into the suspect once later in life. "He said the guy was kind of scared about seeing him," she told the paper. "He told him, 'Just forget about it. It's over with."'
But as his death proves, it really wasn't. _________________________________________

KERNERSVILLE, N.C.
- A man who was in an upstairs apartment at Windsor Manor apartments on Wednesday morning was injured from debris caused by a bullet that was fired from the downstairs apartment, Kernersville police said.

-Police said Steven Reece Hall, 52, accidentally fired his 9 mm handgun.
The bullet traveled through the ceiling into the upstairs apartment, injuring Paul Joseph Pike, 36. Pike was taken to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries.

-Hall was charged with discharging a firearm within city limits. He is lucky thats all he's being charged with.

-That would be quite shocking to suddenly, without warning, be injured by a bullet. This is another sign to handle guns with care and practice gun safety

-A man in Naples, Italy created this cell phone look-alike that was recently confiscated by the Italian police in a raid on a mafia family. The "phone" that even featured a fake screen display
turned out to be a .22 caliber pistol

The phone becomes a gun by sliding the keypad, making the stubby antenna the barrel. It is fired by touching a key on the keypad

-A police spokesman said: 'This is the first time such a weapon has been seized and shows the sophistication that the crime syndicates are turning to. 'Tests are being carried out to see if it has been used recently or has been involved in any shooting attacks.' The raid in a Naples suburb was part of an operation against the Gionta crime family of the Camorra, the port city's version of the Mafia.

-JACKSON, OHIO - Nathan Beavers, 18, was hospitalized with minor wounds to his arm and side, sunday after the 4 year old boy he was babysitting shot him, and his friend, with a shotgun

-The reason? Police say Nathan accidentally stepped on the childs foot and before he knew it the boy had grabbed his parents shotgun from the closet and fired a shot at him and his friend

-Beavers was watching the child at a mobile home in Jackson with several other teenagers and several other children.

-Jackson County Sheriff John Shashteen says authorities are investigating. The child has not been charged.

-I think this should be a lesson for parents, to keep your weapons locked up

PORTLAND, Ore.

-Alvert O'Neal Jr., 45, has been charged with third-degree assault and reckless endangering after his handgun allegedly discharged earlier Sunday.

-The shot fired sent a bullet through the wall of his north Portland apartment and into a nearby home striking the female victim in the shoulder while she was sleeping.

-The 46-year-old victim was treated in the Legacy Emanuel Hospital for non life threatening injuries. Police did not disclose her name.

-Police only became aware of the shooting after responding to the hospital to speak to the injured lady. They contacted her neighbor at his apartment in the 8600 block of North Columbia Boulevard, and he agreed to cooperate with investigators.

-Apparently Alvert had thrown his .380-caliber semi automatic handgun on his bed, causing it to discharge.

-He claims he believed the gun was unloaded at the time, police said.

These guys are insane. This is an adrenaline rush at its best and an amazing technelogical breakthrough. Not to mention dangerous as hell.

At one point in this video it looks like the guy comes within inches of scraping up against the side of the mountain.

POLICE recovered a machine gun when they searched a car in Birmingham after being called to break up a street brawl.
Officers had been alerted to the fight in Parliament Street, Aston, after the alarm was raised in the early hours of December 30.
Three people were arrested in connection with the incident.
But as police searched a vehicle, stunned bobbies found the unmarked weapon, which looked similar to a Mac-10 machine pistol.
The weapon has now been sent away for forensic tests.
A 19-year-old city man appeared before magistrates in Birmingham on New Year’s Day charged with possession of an automatic firearm and ammunition.
Two other men arrested following the brawl were released on police bail pending further investigations.
