When the dawn appears and the sun shines
When night progresses and the stars glitter
I often think the world is so beautiful
And the peace is peerless
O’ the creator of the universe, the savior
Please keep this world safe
With the evils of wars and crazy arms race
Protect this planet from nuclear catastrophe
No more Hiroshima no more Nagasaki
Look at the kids flocking towards schools
Marvelous cities calm and cool
People are working, believers are communing
Birds are flying, flowers are blooming
Life under ocean, respiring
A Sheppard in the mountains plays his flute
A calf is hopping innocent and cute
In high tech labs
Scientists work to protect life to fight disease
On such a living lovely planet
Who is doing again arms race?
Who is whispering about war games??

LET LIFE PREVAIL

O’ the mankind
The world community
The super powers, the leaders
Don’t you think of launching a war?
To finish hostility, to stop wars
Around the globe and in stars
No matter a military makes advancements
No matter an army is defeated
No matter how smartly you bomb the targets
The kids become orphan
The earth turns barren
Cities gets flattened
Blood, corpses, cries and wounds
Humanity weeps as morality ruins
O’ the mankind, the super powers, the leaders
Let’s not forget and make no mistake
We still have to win the war on AIDS
Poverty, hunger and illiteracy
Still to be defeated
Let’s pray for a peaceful planet
Let’s work for the borders of harmony
Let’s work for peaceful co-existence
Let’s work to stop arms race
May lands become more fertile
May the human arch sail
Let life prevail
