The mega-mosque is called the Turkish American Culture and Civilization Center and, according to the Muslim Link,  it “will likely become the largest and most striking examples of Islamic architecture in the western hemisphere” when it is finished in 2014. The Muslim Link explicitly says it is “a project of the government of Turkey.”

Shockingly, the advisory committee that likely influenced these guidelines includes numerous individuals affiliated with the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.

The document says it is a list of “tips for federal, state and local government and law enforcement officials organizing CVE [Countering Violent Extremism], cultural awareness, counter-radicalization, or counterterrorism training.” It was produced by the Department of Homeland Security Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties in cooperation with the National Counterterrorism Center.

After days of aerial and artillery bombardment, followed up by a massive Syrian and Hezbollah assisted offensive on the previously Rebel held town of Qusair, forces loyal to Bashar al-Assad have retaken the strategic town that is a vital highway on the road to Damascus and crucial for smuggling supplies to rebel forces.

As you can Qusair is a geographically important point near the Mediterranean Sea, Lebanon and important Syrian cities.

It is just another success in recent weeks for government forces in the two year old civil war, as the lethal combination of state sponsors in Moscow and Tehran and allied jihadists coming over from Lebanon are emboldening the Assad forces to push back against hard fought rebel gains, and sadly are rather effective.

Perhaps the head turning moment from this particular fight? Not only did rebels suffer heavy casualties from the intense pre-offensive bombardment and the actual fight itself, but almost two dozen Hezbollah terrorists were also killed in the battle that involved Sunni militants from mutual Lebanon fighting on the rebels behalf.

I don’t need to tell anyone the news from Syria is bad this afternoon: Assad forces are actively being aided by Hezbollah forces in pivotal battles, rebel forces are suffering severe casualties and losing momentum too fast and after two years of intense fighting the nation is split approximately in half geographically, politically, and thanks to recent government successes, militarily.

And with the Western world paralyzed with indifference, all we can do is pray and hope for this ugly civil war to eventually conclude with the worst characters eliminated, and hopefully a chance for peace for the Syrian families who have lost too much already in this conflict and who deserve to see their tyrant pay for innumerable crimes.

The site is suspected of producing ingredients for chemical weapons and fuel for surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, the delivery system for a nuclear warhead. A1991 U.S. Muslim Brotherhood memo identified ISNA as one of “our organizations and the organizations of our friends” for use in its “work in America as a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.”

He has been recorded saying “America is the most wicked government on the face of the planet Earth” and “If only Muslims were clever politically, they could take over the United States and replace its constitutional government with a caliphate.”

In short, we cannot simply ”abandon“ North Korea. No matter the nature of the regime in North Korea, China always has security interests in the Korean Peninsula. 
Beijing has already adjusted its policies toward North Korea. Targeting North Korea‘s unfriendly actions, which have threatened peace on the peninsula, China has issued warnings and punishments. The relationship between China and North Korea has reached its lowest point since 1953. 
Nevertheless, this does not mean that China wants to completely abandon North Korea.North Korea is not a satellite state of China. We cannot ”abandon“ it. China‘s punishment and sanctions on North Korea are aimed to maintain our own security interests. 

Wow. Not only did the Chinese provide political cover for the United States and our allies increasing our military presence on the troubled Peninsula and targeting the North Koreans strategically, but they all but threw their old friends in Pyongyang under the bus in this remarkably pointed article.

I’d be concerned if I happened to be in North Korean high command, because a military buildup or drills conducted by the United States or Seoul is normal every day life when your threatening both nations with thermonuclear obviation, but potential defection by your only protectorate state on the planet could mean continuous onslaught from the U.N. and even fewer precious resources, such as food, entering your land.

Things could be getting very interesting diplomatically on the Korean Peninsula as China’s untrustworthy policy towards Pyongyang intensifies with further deterioration of politics within the Kim Jong-Un regime.

The police officers, roughly numbering sixty, were heading to the Alayko Village to arrest the chief of the Ombatse cult that is responsible for the intimidation of both Christian and Muslim believers by storming their respective houses of worship and forcing villagers to swear an oath of allegiance to their group.

But they walked straight into an ambush that resulted in the deaths of thirty officers and the disappearance of seventeen more, prompting the Nigerian President to cut short a diplomatic trip abroad and return to discuss the matter with military and policy agencies to address security concerns in his unstable nation.

The Ombatse, meaning “the time has come” in traditional language, is technically outlawed in Nigeria but still worshiped by members of the Eggon Community, who represent just one of over two hundred ethnic groups in the culturally diverse nation – many of whom practice traditional belief systems such as the aforementioned.

Their mission is to apparently fight the human vices of alcohol and adultery by kidnapping and forcing people to join their cult, which is a damn good reason why the local police are cracking down on them, but maybe it is time to bring in the military instead to deal with these, ahem, domestic terrorists.

That’s not the same for residents of Bahrain, and especially not for Mr. Ali Abdulemam, aka the “Bahraini Blogger” who just completed a daring escape from political persecution in his home land to asylum in the United Kingdom for the sole crime of writing against the monarchy during his country’s failed Arab Spring attempt.

Arrested and convicted, along with other supporters of the failed Bahrain protest movement in 2010, Ali Abdulmam was initially pardoned of his “crimes,” but soon after the ruling Sunni’s crushed the rebellion – pardons were revoked and the search was on for “supporters of terrorism.”

After two years of avoiding capture, our Bahraini blogger was smuggled all the way from the home of the Fifth Fleet to London by a myriad of methods including a secret car compartment and a fisherman’s boat, due completely to the heinous crime of simply expressing his opinion.. My oh my how the freedoms loved here are so abused elsewhere.

Unbelievable how the simple act of composing your opinion, editing its wording and posting it for the world to see caused one man to not only be arrested, but to be convicted of terrorism and sought like a dog while billions worldwide freely use this same vehicle without fear of reprisal…
