THIS SWORD HAS NORMAL HANDLING WEAR TO IT. THIS INFORMATION I FOUND ON THIS KNIFE IT MIGHT BE A CIRCA 1900 SENIOR FORESTER SWORD. IT IS MISSING A FEW ACORNS ON THE HANDLE.

German Made Belgium Pioneer Bayonet M1880

This is an example of a German made Belgium Pioneer Bayonet, Model 1880 which was designed to be used with the Comblain and Albini Short Rifles. This particular one is dated "1887" on the ricasso and wears the logo of "Alex Coppel" on the other side. The sawback blade measures 18 1/4 inches in length and although shows to have been heavily cleaned in recent years with pitting scars still present, the markings can still be easily made out. The solid brass guard remains in uncleaned condition and the spring is in good working order. Overall measuring 23 3/8 inches in length.

Very Nice French Trench Knife M1916

This is a good example of a French Trench Knife, Model 1916. This particular one was manufactured by "GONON" as marked on the ricasso. It is mounted with a nice double edged blade which measures 6 5/8 inches in length. The blade wears good, clean markings on one of the ricasso and does remain in superb original condition with minor surface blemishes and is fitted with a steel crossguard. The wooden hilt is simple and nicely carved and remains healthy as well. The simple metal scabbard also remains very nice in condition. Overall the Knife measures 11 1/8 inches in length. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this auction)

Nice Japanese Army Type 32 Sword

This is a very nice Japanese Army NCO Sword, Type 32. It is mounted with well made machine made blade that measures 30 1/4 inches in length which remains in very nice, original condition. It wears a metal D-guard and a checkered wooden grip and a side lock that also remains healthy and tight. The guard is marked by the Tokyo arsenal and is dated "Meiji 43" which translates to "1910". The Sword is mounted with a metal scabbard which although is mis-matched, does fit well to the blade and remains in good condition as well with only a little minor scuffing. Overall measuring 37 inches in length. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this auction)

Canadian Marked (rare) * Enfield 1907- Mk111 Sword Bayonet - Sanderson - 1916

An Early Sanderson (1916) with very desirable Canadian Issue Mark ( see picture # 11). For very little more cost than a typical Issue 1907 - this very desirable Canadian marked Enfield is available - Hard to find and rarer 1907s like this can't help but increase in value - more so than standard issue. This very nice bayonet set has

not only Candian proof mark on the steel handle, but it was re-issued with a round frog retainer scabbard and the scabbard that is also Candian marked. If that isn't enough - the blade is re-issed for WWII issue by being blued - which military regulations required for Australian and New Zealand re-issued during WWII. This very,very nice bayonet set has an exception history - just from the points stated. If you want or need a model 1907 for your collection - this could be it. Great collector's piece!! These many proofed British Bayonets are very historic and are much more interesting than simply standard world bayonets. This War Horse is marked Sanderson with Canadian Proof - very desirable and collectable and dated 1? -16. ( the 1- one is lightly stamped) Which means it was made during Early WWI in JAN? of 1916 . This one was manufactured during the dark and challenging days of WWI. I wish I knew more about the various proofs - a person could do some research and establish more of its history. A NICE ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION - even for advanced collectors.

Metal Handle also shows Canadian Mark stamped on metal - this one has done it all and still in very nice condition. Quite a collectable and Very Historic.

The scabbard has the round frog clip - indicating WWII re-issue.

Note: The blade has not been sharpened since leaving the Gov't Arsenal. The blade NO bends or cracks.

Bayonet buttons for attaching to rifles are always checked and work fine!

1907 Enfield British bayonets and scabbard used by England Canada and Australia in both WW1 and WW11. please see the pictures for unique and exact markings on the blade - a nice historic collectable for display, re-enactment or simply an investment. bayonets are much more desirable and unique . The blade is 17 inches long and the overall 22 inches long. THIS BAYONET WAS MADE FOR SERIOUS FIGHTING. This fits all British mk 111 rifles used in both wars. It will not fit the later number 4 rifles. This is a bayonet THAT IS OVER 90 YEARS OLD-and not bad for age and history- pictures will better show than my description. In addition - it is a well marked bayonet. It goes on nicely on my mark 111 rifle. It is not an cheap India made bayonet. A collector informed me that the scabbard with the round frog attachment was for WW11 re- issue and that is correct for this re-issue bayonet. - see pictures. If it could only talk. Great for displaying with rifle, by itself , re-enacting or simply collecting. Note pictures of markings on the bayonet - I'm sure they probably mean more to you than me.
