After the successful meeting of the North Korean leader to U.S President Trump, there is seem to be progressed in lowering down the tension between the North Korea and the West, but Japan, a U.S. ally don't believe that there is nothing to worry about.

Japan believes that the hermet state still poses a serious threat to its neighboring countries. North Korea promised that they would stop testing balistic missiles, but there is not clarification that they would reduce their nuclear stockpiles and by knowing the fact that North Korea holds a number of nuclear warheads they still considered as an imminent threat.

Tokyo insisted on Tuesday: "There is no change in our basic recognition concerning the threat of North Korea's nuclear weapons and missiles."

Pyongyang continues to post "an unprecedentedly serious and imminent threat to Japan's security and significantly damage the peace and security of the region and the international community", according to Tokyo.

Japanese Defence Minister Itsunori Onodera acknowledged in the document that North Korea had begun dialogue with its former foes the US and South Korea.

"But we cannot overlook the fact that, even to this day, it possesses and fully deploys several hundred missiles that put nearly all of Japan within range," the minister stressed.

With the presence of imminent threat Japan upgraded its security systems and defense capabilities by installing new radar systems from the U.S.

Despite the historic handshake in Singapore, there has been little progress in denuclearising the Korean peninsula and Washington-Pyongyang relations appear to have taken a turn for the worse, with Trump abruptly scrapping a planned visit to the North by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

The white paper also reiterated Japan's worries about China's increasing military spending and expanding naval ambitions.

It complained that Beijing was trying to "change the status quo by coercion", referring to such actions as building up disputed islands in the South China Sea and expanding naval activities around East China Sea islands disputed with Japan.

The Hwasong-15, North Korea's furthest-reaching intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), could theoretically travel about 13,000km. This potentially puts the whole world within range, except for:

This theoretical range was estimated based on the Hwasong-15 performance in a test-launch on November 29, when it flew for about 53 minutes before landing in the sea.

Earlier in July, North Korea's test-launched the Hwasong-14, with a theoretical range of 10,400km. The missile flew for about 45 minutes before landing in the Sea of Japan.

On September 15, North Korea's also tested its mid-range Hwasong-12 missile which travelled about 3,700km over Japan, and has a range potential of 4,000km, which includes Guam, a US territory in the Pacific Ocean.

During World War 2, the red army was commanded by incompetent commanders and their weapons were not that good compared to the invading Germans except the tanks, but they were able to turn the German offensive to defensive.

By the end of Operation Barbarossa, 4 millions Red Army soldiers were killed or captured, 20,000 aircraft destroyed, and as many tanks out of action. So, how come the soviets beat the germans? we will answer that on today's episode of world war stories.

Number 5. No surrender to Retreat

During the great purge of the late 1930s many experienced commanders of Stalin were execute d or put to jail, leaving incompetent commanders to lead his troops. Despite the lack of strategy and equipment to fight the Germans. Stalin ordered his commanders to defend the motherland at all cost, it was instilled in their military doctrine that they would not retreat and must keep moving forward and fight the enemy bravely, and because of that the red army had the stagering number of casualties in world world war 2, many were killed by the German machine guns and some were killed by their comrades because they retreated, but despite many losses the red army had a huge resevwah of conscripts to fill their army’s ranks, while the germans they had none.

Many soviet military installations were not destroyed by the Germans, and Russia is a country rich of ores, minerals and oil, with all of these intact and the non-stop flow of supplies to their soldiers, they became a strong force that the slumping Germans could not stop, by 1943 to 45 they were able to turn to tide of the War in the eastern front.

Number 3. Winter Came

When the winter came up big in 1941 and 42, they had superior winter condition compared to the Germans. The german supplies in Stalingrad were cut-off, with lack of food, ammunition and winter cloathing the germans were experiencing the same problem Napoleon's army had. Many of the German soldiers were killed by rigours of winter.

Hitler thought that the soviets were an inferior enemy, that the soviet union can easily be conquered like what he did to France and Poland. During their invasion in the Soviet Union, for months they won victory after victory. But then the attack stalled—and the appearance of a new Soviet tank stunned the Wehrmacht.

It was the T-34. The new armored vehicle with an excellent 76-millimeter gun and thick sloped armor and cruised at more than 35 miles per hour. It possessed many advanced design features for the time—and it could blow German Panzers to Hell. This tank destroyed the Wehrmacht strategy in winning the War, the Germans thought of them as the finest tanks they had encountered. with the vast number of t-34s the German invasion was halted.

Napalm is a mixture of a gel and gasoline. It was initially used as an incendiary device against buildings, but in the advent of many wars in the world, it became an anti-personnel weapon. It's cruel and inhumane bomb because it makes the victim suffer from extreme pain cause by severe burns when on fire. It is also difficult to save the victim once covered by the burning gel, because the it would stick on the skin. Napalm was developed in 1942 by the Americans. It was first used in the European theater during World War II and on the Pacific theater it was used extensively by the US as an incendiary attacks on Japanese cities and, on Korean and Vietnam Wars, it became their bomb of choice.

If Napalm is an inhumane bomb, does it mean the one using it has no

During World War 2 in the Pacific, the Japanese dugged tunnels and made pillboxes against the approaching Americans and they refused to surrender. Napalm bombs were dropped by aviators of the U.S. Navy, the United States Army Air Forces, and the U.S. Marine Corps in support of ground troops. Many were burned alive and crying in pain.

Then, when the U.S. Army Air Forces on the Marianas Islands ran out of conventional thermite incendiary bombs for their B-29 Superfortresses to drop on Japanese cities, its top commanders, such as General Curtis LeMay, used napalm bombs to continue fire raids on the large Japanese cities. Steve was a Marine sniper assigned in a routine mission in Iraq, his task was to provide
cover to his fellow marines. When enemy troops attacked his squad, he carefully analyze the position of the insurgents and there were three of them sneaking around the back of a nearby building in an attempt to ambush his fellow marines with a machine gun.
Not about to let this happen, Reichert aimed his rifle at them just as they disappeared behind one of the building's brick walls. Refusing to let this seemingly minor vision handicap stop him, Reichert made his best guess and hit the wall from his position a little over a mile away. The single round took out all three of the insurgents.

One of them had been hit by the bullet and was killed instantly, while the other two were struck down by brick and bullet fragments blasted out by Reichert's shot. He had neutralized three targets that were behind a wall with a single shot made a mile out. For his actions, he was awarded the Bronze Star.

As it turns out, it was the enemy sniper and Hathcock's bullet passed clean through the enemy sniper's scope from 500 yards away, threading the needle at close to one-third of a mile.

Number 3. Mike Plumb's impossible shot.

SWAT sniper Michael Plumb arrived on the scene with the rest of his unit to find a suicidal man named Douglas Conley sitting on a lawn chair in the middle of the street, ranting and holding a revolver to his head. Conley refused to let any police officers come near him, becoming more and more agitated each time they tried to approach and raising the gun to his chin. Conley's volatile state, coupled with the fact that he was ignoring all the police's demands, led Plumb's commander to finally give him the go-ahead to fire. Instead of trying to hit the man, Plumb was to attempt to assassinate the tiny .38 snub-nosed revolver Conley was holding in his hand, from 60 yards away.

Mike Plumb carefully shot a single round that smashed into Conley's gun and blew it to pieces. It was a remarkable shot that stunned the suicidal man.

The combat camera team of the Marawi siege was the
Philippine Army's Civil-Military Operations Regiment.
They are real soldiers and they also have rifles with them, it is just happened that they were tasked to capture pictures and videos of the war. These combat cameramen joined with troops in the front-line, they sometimes with the elite troops in the offensive, joined the snipers
crawling for enemy shooters and they were with the wounded and the medics too. They are the unique breed of heroes of the Marawi Siege. Their captured shots of the war helped the military intelligence and not only that their videos and photos made their countrymen understood the current situation of Marawi. It contributed the support of the people and the government. But this job is not easy for a real soldier. Soldiers are trained for the war with real weapons but these soldiers mission are focused on capturing the battle situation.

A combat cameraman said that, sometimes they felt scared storming the infested enemy strong holds with their camera's rolling because they might get hit easily. He also said that sometimes when they were exchanging fire with the enemies they wanted to use their rifles instead their cameras. A combat cameraman said, that when saw his comrade hit and dying, he could not react right away, and could not afford to take pictures of his wounded friend. He said it is very painful to see the suffering of the soldiers clearly on his lens. But its a duty that must be done.

Recently Uran 9 got lambasted because The remote controlled combat vehicle lost contact with ground control stations, suffered from an unreliable gun and suspension system, and could not target enemies while on the move. It is natural because this unmanned tank is still under observation and testing, so failures are always something to expect from this new robotic tank.

So what makes this vehicle a perfect combat tank?

Let's talk about it.

The vehicle is designed to provide remote reconnaissance and fire support to a variety of tasks conducted by the counter-terrorism, reconnaissance and military units in urban environments.

Fitted with a variety of weapons and sensors, the robot will improve the combat effectiveness of the infantry squads, while offering maximum protection to the personnel. This perfect for war on terrorism and urban warfare.

This is a powerful weapon not just a vehicle because

its weapon system has four Ataka anti-tank guided missile launchers, two on each side, to defeat the enemy main battle tanks and armoured targets. The Ataka missile offers a firing range of 0.4km to 6km, and is capable of penetrating armour to a depth of 800mm behind explosive reactive armour.

The turret also incorporates one stabilised 30mm automatic cannon for defence against ground and low-flying aerial targets, as well as one Kalashnikov PKT 7.62mm coaxial machine gun to engage ground-based light armoured targets.

The robot is also provided with six 93mm-calibre rocket-propelled reactive flamethrowers, three on each side of the turret. With a maximum firing range of 1km, the turret can destroy enemy manpower and weaponry inside protective shelters and field fortifications.

Weapon options for the Uran 9 vehicle include four surface-to-air missiles, Verba man-portable air defence systems, and up to six Kornet-M anti-tank guided missiles.

KAPLAN MT is a modern medium-weight tank being developed jointly by FNSS and PT Pindad. It is designed to offer high lethality in combination with superior tactical mobility.

What makes this tank perfect for AFP is its design.

The interior has been designed with major emphasis on crew ergonomics and various tactical and battlefield conditions such as driving, firing and loading or off-loading of ammunition. The driver’s position offers an enhanced field of view and convenient access to control panel and driving instruments. The gunner and commander are provided with sighting systems for observation during the day or night, while the commander’s position is installed with a panoramic sight. The battles like in Marawi and Sulu could have been fast and swift if there were tanks like these.

KAPLAN MT will soon hit the urban and battle areas of the Philippines. The tank is fitted with CMI Cockerill 3105 turret mounting a Cockerill 105milimeter high-pressure gun. The lightweight gun features an advanced autoloader to deliver rapid fire-power.

The 105mm gun can fire NATO-standard 105 milimeter ammunition and can engage targets at a maximum distance of 10km. The secondary weapon system includes a 7.62 milimeter coaxial machine gun mounted to the left side of the main gun.

And to make sure our soldiers are safe from Rocket launchers and grenades. The Kaplan provides STANAG 4569 Level 4 ballistic protection against 14.5 milimeter armoured projectiles and 155 milimeter shell splinters. It can withstand the explosion of 10kg TNT under the track and bottom of the hull.

The tank can be hinged with add-on armour to increase the protection to Level 5 to sustain damage from 25 milimeter armour piercing discarding weapons.

The KAPLAN MT is also fitted with smoke grenade dischargers, a chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) protection system and a laser warning system for increased survivability against hostile threats.
