Alas! we are now in Isla Mujerez, Mexico, it was hard for me to decide to take a vacation with my husband but I was being brave to agreed though I was worried what will happen to the twins when I'm away with them. I knew it is not easy esp. our twins are still small as they are 20 mos. but they are good as I tried to train them almost everything. I have a fam. friend that one that I can trust to take care of my twins while we are away for a while & I knew and saw how she took care of her son while his was little. I miss my twins so much but we will be home soon. Anyhow, my husband and I are having a good time in Isla Mujerez, Mexico, and today I didn't go with him to do fishing, because I knew I'll get sick or puke the whole trip esp. it's windy today, so, I've decided just to stay in the hotel and lay on the beach, and swim, but when he got back he told me that he caught a big baraccuda fish and lobster. The fish, the lobster that they caught, they fried the baraccuda and half they do ceviche which is called kinilaw with lime, cilantro, fish, onion, and tomatoes, loves it and it's his fave, I tried it and I think its good. And some other they put other ingredients such as octopus, oysters, and others. Maybe you can try it if you like uncooked fish with other flavors, it's like appetizers, and if you visit Philippines, Mexico, Isla Mujerez or other tropical countries you can try it.

Relaxing On the Beach

Yesterday is windy and a little bit chilly but the sun still up, so, we decided just to lay on the beach and relax. We ordered few drinks and foods, 'twas a lazy day for us but afterwards we walked around the town & ate our dinner.

We rented the golf carts for 2 days. So, we roamed around the island even though we are not sure where we are going but we knew we won't get lost since the island is pretty small, so we just drove around wherever we feel like it or if we see the road that we can get through lol. While driving, we stopped by in a nice beach though it was windy but we decided to walk a little bit and take some photos. He shot a good photo of me using my iphone, I love this pic of mine here haha, so, I have decided to post in here. This is one of my fave photo after looking some other pics :). Anyhow, the water yesterday was a little bit rough, the current was strong as you can see in the picture the wave is kinda big.

My Favorite Drink of All :)

Coconut juice is my favorite drink when we are in tropical country or place & I order it if its available. Drinking coconut juice is nostalgic to me when I was little kid or when I still living in Philippines where I born. Being here now in Isla Mujerez, Mexico and coconut are sold on the beach, bars, restaurants or on the streets which is good as I love coconut juice. I usually buy like 2-3 times a day. So, while being here on vacation, I want to drink at least 1 a day and I prefer drinking it than drinking margarita lol.

It is a popular place to eat breakfast, because they offer various kinds of coffee, they have pancakes too! We walked around and saw this place and we tried, it's a nice place, plus they offer wifi. I'll post some pics here more later about this place.

Golf Cart

Here we are renting a golf cart in Isla Mujeres, it is fun. I haven't drove one before, it is easy to drive, but since I'm not use to it, so, when I stop at "alto" or stop sign, I want to turn on my signal (lol) but I realized it's a golf cart (lmao). Anyhow, if you are tired or you do no want to walk around the area, you can just rent it for $45 a day, we rented it from "Pelicano" which is the name of the golf cart comp. in Abasolo st.

Isla Mujeres, Mexico

We arrived here since on Feb. 8, it was around 5:30 that we checked in our hotel called "Priviledge Aluxes." The hotel rating is 4 stars. It right on the beach which is pretty awesome. Anyhow, Isla Mujerez is small island, you will not get lost in here, if you'd like to go around the island, you can rent a golf cart. To be continued as going to eat my breakfast now lol.

Death Valley, CA

Since we went in Las Vegas, we decided to have a Death Valley tour with the pink jeepney tour which was our 2nd time booking that tour company. We went on Nov. 2010 during my hubby's birthday, we planned it for a while to go there & finally it happened & we saw what's like. It's really a desert place where it's hot & humid. And when traveling there is a great idea to bring liquids, foods just in case you have problem with your car. When were there it was a little bit cold, because it was month of Dec., it would be nice to visit during spring time.

We had awesome time & that was great memories of us that surely never forgotten, where are we going next?

My husband and I loved to go on vacations and stay in a nice hotel. We loved to stay in a nice, comfortable, great value of the hotel and offers friendly service. We stayed this "Double Tree Hotel" in Orlando which is just nearby in "Downtown Disney" and we stayed there since we wanted to go there and have fun. It was our 1st time staying in that hotel and our impression and experienced was really good since the staff are great, the hotel is clean, well-decorated and the price is right. We had a huge room which I liked. My overall rating of the hotel is 4 stars! I would love that we will stay there again. I recommend the hotel!

Anchor Inn Sanibel Island My Review and Our Fun There...

My husband and I went in Sanibel Island, Florida and we never been there before and we tried to have fun there during the weekend and besides it was after valentine's day. When we feel bored, we try to go somewhere anywhere in Florida and we have been many times in Disney or other parts in Florida, we decided to go to in Sanibel. My husband when he was little, he went there together with his family and they did some fun and shelling there. Before we went there, he told me, we will do some shelling as there is an area or beach there which is known for shelling. We did it, but we haven't found a lot of shells but we had fun walking on the beach on sunny day and while being in Sanibel. The island is a tourist place and the water and the sand is white and beautiful. My husband and I stayed in "Anchor Inn" and we liked in there since the water is heated, clean, the room is clean too and we had "king size bed" and we on the back, we can hear the noise of the fountain which makes me like to sleep more (lol). We paid our room for more than $100 and it was worth the stay since we enjoyed being there. We rented bikes and we do ride a bike about 2-3 times a day and roamed around and that was really fun and I would love to go back there again in Sanibel. It was a quite unforgettable weekend fun we had!

New York City Condos

While I was still living in Philippines, I was wishing to visit New York City, because it is one of famous destinations here in the States. It came true by the time, I came here in the States my husband brought me there and show me around and we had wonderful time there. New York City is the most populous city in the United States. It is a place also where you can find different kind of people from other countries. The city is an important center for international affairs, hosting the United Nations headquarters. And it is the most populated major city in the United States, with more than 8 million people.

Furthermore, the City is offers entertainment as it is home of Broadway theater, the city offers fine dining or most fancy restaurant, nice tourist attractions and also where you can find the 2nd tallest building in the States which is the "Empire State Building" and it also as 10th tallest building in the world but it has been stood as the tallest building in the world from its completion until 1972. Fun and Experience in Downtown Disney

My husband and I been in "Downtown Disney" once and we are planning to go there and perhaps this weekend. Downtown Disney has a lot to offer like they have variety of restaurants like the "Planet Hollywood" restaurant which is popular, it is somewhat noisy as it has loud music but it is fun and I liked it. There are tons of decorations from old movies etc. Furthermore, they have also "Rain Forest Cafe" which is a popular too. There are nice shops that you will enjoy such as Disney characters or toys, t-shirts and much more! One of the highlight in Downtown Disney for me is the "Quest" where you can play video games all day and if I am not mistaken we paid $50 per person for admission and their are a lot of video games and I never get bored while I was there, they do not have only video games but they have also a ride that you will enjoy, it's not a roller coaster (lol) and one of my favorite ride was the pirate ride and we tried to get some treasure where you will wear like a 3D goggles and bomb the ships so that you will get the treasure, it was fun! Our Adventure Fun at Suwannee River State Park

My husband and I planned to go there together with our couple friends who owned a camper. We went there on Saturday and the park is a far away from our condo as we drove about 3 hours and half. We even hardly find that state park since the GPS doesn't locate it as it's located in a remote area. As we are lost, we called the caretaker there and she gave us directions how to get there and we found a sign and followed what she said and finally, we reached the place around 3:00 p.m. As our friends are not yet there, my husband and I had a chance to walked around or familiarized the Park. We went by the river and took some pictures. As our friends arrived with their camper and after everything set-up, we went to the market and bought some foods. When we are back to the camp ground, we prepared foods and did a bonfire and cooked barbecued meat on it which was quiet fun. We did not have a grilling equipment, so we just hold the stick and had fun cooking the meat while talking each other. My husband and I stayed there for 1 night but we had wonderful experienced there and our friends stayed there longer for 1 night.

The park has a lot to offer for campers or you can bring your family, friends or love ones to do picnic or family reunion. You can rent a canoe and enjoy canoeing on the river. The scenic beauty and the nature is beautiful and when you are there, you feel it's quiet, relaxing and perfect place to do hiking or for adventure. There is a Withlacoochee River joins the Suwannee River on its way to the Gulf of Mexico. The other activities include fishing, picnicking, and canoeing; for overnight stays, the park has a full-facility campground and cabins. The Suwannee River State Park located 13 miles west of Live Oak, off U.S. 90. We loved being there and I hope one day, we will come back there. It was such a great adventure and experienced we had at Suwannee River State Park.

Fun and Adventures in Nassau, Bahamas

The water in Bahamas is crystal clear since without swimming under water and by looking above, you can see the fish and I felt excited by the time when were in Bahamas as by looking the ocean it makes me smile as I saw the deep blue, green crystal water. We went in Atlantis Hotel to see what is in there and found out the hotel is magnificent as the hotel is architecturally well designed and they have aquarium with thousands of fish and I saw a manta ray fish, which you cannot see often in a big aquarium. Furthermore, they have a casino, prestige stores, and other attractions. The hotel reminds me of Las Vegas as the designed is like one of Las Vegas hotels. We really have a good time there as we rented a car and roamed around in Nassau with our friends. The four of us did rent a wave runner and it was my first time riding a jet ski and then we went to the other beach and my Filipina friend and I rode the banana boat, which was fun. It was memorable for us and it will always be.

Just found the statue of a frog while we are walking heading to the rental car office and as it seems reminds me of "Frog Pond" restaurant nearby in our place, I took a picture of it.

General Douglas McArthur Monument in Palo Leyte, I Shall Return!

My husband visited me for the 1st time in my place Tacloban City, Leyte where I grew up and went high school and college. I was not born in there as I was born in Mindanao, which is quite far from Leyte when you ride a bus and car, but for a plane, it will take perhaps about 2 hours and half, I am not sure since there is no plane from Tacloban to Mindanao that I know of.

Anyhow, I am talking about Tacloban since is where a place my husband visited me and met for the 1st time. When he was there, I did bring him where Gen. Douglas Mc Arthur statue or monument which is located in Palo, Leyte where about 25-30 minutes away drive by riding a jeepney, and car from where I live in. My family and I live in Palo, Leyte before we live in Tacloban City. Palo, Leyte where Gen. Douglas McArthur first landed with his troops in the Philippines on Oct. 20, 1944. McArthur Park is one of tourist attraction and where foreigners come, visit, and take pictures. I remember that there is sometimes a concert in McArthur Park and during Oct. 20, where people gather and celebrate the anniversary, which is called “Leyte Landing,” and this will happen soon as Oct. 20 is approaching and that is Monday of next week and I never forget the date since Oct. 20 is my sister’s birthday. The anniversary is done yearly, I have not really witnessed or been once during the anniversary, and perhaps one day if I am in Philippines, I could join the celebration.

Walt Disney World Vacations

During my 1st time visiting the Walt Disney World, I was amazed and makes me think everything is possible. I was full of joy and thought my dream come true. In 2nd time, my husband, my older sister and I went in Walt Disney World and my husband told me that the most funniest and exciting that he never forgot when we rode the space mountain in “Magic Kingdom” as my sister and I shouted so loud and laughing at same time. When my husband and I do not have anything to do during weekend, we do visit Walt Disney World. We have been many times in Walt Disney World and we did mostly all the tourist attractions they have.

Walt Disney World where people and kids have fun and make you feel happy seeing the characters in the movie and you can enjoy the rides and other tourist attractions. My husband and I planning to be in “Magic Kingdom” again soon and my favorite rides in there is the “Small World.” The Walt Disney World offers four unique theme parks and two water parks which designed with family fun in mind. The Magic Kingdom Park offers a variety of lands, characters and rides and the old favorites’ such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain offer excitement for everyone, while Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and others are perfect for younger kids. An Inspiring Day at Kennedy Space Center, Florida

My husband and I went to Cocoa Beach, Florida and in the next day, we decided to visit the “Kennedy Space Center” and see massive rockets, and other interesting attractions there. Every year, tons of visitors from different countries make the trek to this hub of technology and discovery, where many of humankind’s greatest accomplishments take place.

It was a hot day, but it did not stopped us to walked around inside at Kennedy Space Center. It was an awesome experienced for us since we saw different kinds of rockets located at rocket gardens. We did see a 3D movie which about the magnificent desolation which about the 1st mission on the moon which was really an amazing movie that I have ever seen. It fascinated me and the movie somewhat touchy, inspiring and I loved it and an amazing story and that was great experienced for us which hard to forget.

Abe Martin Lodge & Our Adventure at Brown County State Park Indiana

Hubby and I were staying in Indianapolis for 4 months and we did not miss any interesting and fun to do in Indiana. On weekend, we do visit tourist attractions and one day we decided to visit the Brown County State Park and stayed in Abe Martin lodge. We loved the lodge since it was cleaned, helpful and friendly staff, the room that we had was primitive design, and it has comfortable bed as you can see in the picture here that I posted. At Brown County State Park, they do have a nature’s center which is educational for all ages and I liked that place since you can see different kinds of birds eating clearly and also hear their voice but they birds cannot see you as you are inside and it is mirrored and tinted. Anyway, while we were staying there at Abe’s Martin lodge, we did walk in the forest alot and we found a place where we can ride a horse, which is located about three-five minutes away from the lodge. I have not ridden a horse before and it was my first time. I felt scared as I was thinking might the horse will kick me or will hurt me badly but my husband did encourage me and urged me to ride a horse and he explained it to me that they were trained and it will not be going to kick me. I saw a girl road a pony and I was thinking, I will be fine and I saw some first timer people who rode and they were fine. I have decided to try out and everything was alright and makes me proud of myself but for about an hour ride, it hurts my butt and in the next day, it even hardly for me to walk and my husband laughed at me as I walked like a robot (laughed). The name of my horse was cowgirl (ha-ha) and she was good to me. We had wonderful time riding a horse, staying at Abe’s Martin lodge and walking in the Brown County State park.

On the next day, while roaming around the forest, we found a place where we can ride a horse, okay hon...take a pic of me now before we go, I am not scared anymore. We had a blast!
After we rode the horse, I still wanted to have a photo of myself. I said to the horse "hold on cowgirl" (name of the horse), do not move and do not kick me...we are friends now :)

Unforgettable Fun Experienced and Skycrapers in Chicago

Hubby and I went there for just couple of days. While we were staying in Indianapolis, we did not miss visiting Chicago. I have never been in Chicago before and I was overwhelmed when were there how tall the buildings are. I have been to New York but I forgot how tall the buildings now in a big City as where I live right now do not have skyscrapers’ like I saw in Chicago like the Sears Tower, Jewelers building, Hancock building and those are just I remembered. We stayed in Marriott Residence Inn for 2 nights. We walked around the City and I become familiarized the downtown since we walked there alot and I remember where we went or we walked by. We had fantastic time in Chicago and great experienced even just couple of days in there. We went to Navy Pier, went to Buckingham famous fountain, had food tour, had architectural river cruise as one of the highlight of our trip there. What an awesome experienced we had in Chicago that never forgotten. You can see the nice skyscrapers’ in Chicago and other pics.

Memory and Photos in Interlaken

When my bro. and I went to Switzerland visiting our beloved sister, I get a chance to hang out with my wonderful friend together with her son and hubby and we went to Interlaken and in Lauterbrunnen Falls. We had blasts that time exploring in Interlaken and I remember we went to the town of Interlaken and we were hungry, so we decided to eat in McDonald. It was such a memorable time spending time with my good friend together with her son and hubby.
