Little Tinkerbell is in need of a forever home, but soon after my aunt took her in, she discovered that the sweet girl was expecting. She decided to keep her until after the puppies were born, and find homes for them all. Kathryn is enamored by the puppies, so she spent a few hours with them earlier today, and I took the opportunity to make photographs of some of the cuteness!

Through the wonders of facebook, one of our upcoming brides saw the newborn puppy photos I posted a few weeks ago, and she and her fiance will be adopting this little guy, who the’ve already named Chipper. (Yes, they are Braves fans!)

Two other pups have an adoptive family waiting on them, but two still need a home. This one with pretty markings…

… and this all white one.

Our girls have been begging for one of these pups, but they are just not a large and durable enough variety to play well with our Lacy the WonderDog, so I’ve had to be the mean mom and say no. (Which means I can’t spend too much time with the puppies or I will totally cave and bring one home!) We do love dogs, though! They’re people, too, aren’t they?

Usually, we do Tina and Andrew’s family portraits around the same time each year, February or March, so that they can see how their young family has grown and changed. This year they decided to wait a bit so Tina’s baby belly could be showing. But then, some complications had Tina on modified bed-rest, so we waited in hopes that the bed-rest would only be temporary. A few weeks ago, however, the doctor put Tina in the hospital and that’s where she’ll stay until the baby arrives. So… we did their session in a beautiful garden at the hospital.

As long as Tina keeps her adorable self parked in the wheelchair, Andrew has permission to wheel her anywhere. The kids think mom’s current mode of transportation is pretty fun.The kids did great, despite temptingly fun and cool fountains bubbling nearby!Last year, Braedon had a cast on his arm when we did the family’s photos. Tina considered rescheduling until after the cast came off, but then she decided that’s truly what their family looked like at that time of their lives, so we went ahead with the session as planned. This year, Tina has some colorful “bling” adorning her wrists in the form of an IV and hospital ID bracelets. But that’s what’s happening in the family this year, so it’s okay. It’s them. It’s real. Braedon talks to baby Garrett and pulls up mom’s shirt to give the belly a kiss. So sweet!
And seriously, could a 3-year-old look any more GQ than this?
Kaley looks for this baby everyone keeps saying is in mom’s belly!
I could eat her up!
In addition to already being daddy and working his job, Andrew has really stepped up to do much of what mommy usually does. Way to go, Andrew! The baby is schedule to arrive just a little early, but they still have a couple of weeks to go. The whole family is so stinkin’ cute, I can’t wait to see what baby Garrett looks like!

Paula and Mark are a delightfully fun, adorable couple!
Their wedding will be held at the Marlow House, just off the Marietta Square, so we chose to do their engagement session at the Square, too. Despite sweltering summer temperatures, we all had a blast, and no one melted! ;)

Because their marriage will blend their two families, Paula and Mark wanted to include the kids in some of the photos.
Wonderful!
We did plenty of photos without the kids, too. Paula and Mark are so cute!

Another photo with the kids…
Paula and Mark proved that rawr isn’t reserved for the twenty-somethings.
(The kids comments behind us were cracking me up!)

We found this doorway, and told them to pretend they’d slipped in there to sneak a kiss. They liked that idea. ;)

Paula’s daughter Tiffany is a pretty girl with a great smile. She asked for a few photos of just her, and I think she’ll get a kick out of seeing a couple of them here. She’s super-excited about the upcoming wedding and has been helping her mom plan the details.

I’ll end with my favorite family photo from the day. We look forward to being part of your wedding day in September!
