Remember John Edwards? Yeah, he finished 2nd in Iowa–ahead of Hilary. So why do we let those in the early primary states dictate who gets the nomination? Anyone who’s lived in a state that holds a primary after Super Tuesday has experienced this frustration. In 2004 had Edwards, Howard Dean, or Wesley Clark made it to June, would we have a different president today?

So what’s the solution? National Primary Day. Why isn’t this an option?

Hire movers to move and pack you! Tired of trying to find a friend with a truck? Or worse, tired of renting a truck? Then movers are the way to go. But when you don’t even want the hassle of putting your crap in boxes, that’s when you pay the movers to pack you.

Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s quite worth it. In the words of Ferris Bueller, “if you have the means, I highly recommend [it].” Do you know why it takes you 2 months to pack your crap and it only takes a professional a day or two? Because you want to go through every receipt you’ve saved since the Carter administration and reflect on the good times you had at that putt-putt course of a bygone era complete with pirates and dinosaurs. Professional movers will make sure all of your prized possessions are packed safe and they won’t spend days going through your stuff–unless of course you get the moving industry’s version of Sy the Photo Guy.

Wow, 2 movie references in the same post. I’ve almost outdone myself. Anyway, professional packing; think about it.

Of course the pedophiles aren’t the only people who should be banned from Myspace. What about all those people who buy hair gel in bulk? The same people who can be found at this great site. So here’s what I have to say anyone using Myspace: First, you’re not in high school any more–unless you are, in which case Myspace might be for you. And if you’re over the age of 14 and still using Myspace, please buy some condoms–people like you shouldn’t be allowed to breed.

Tom’s been in some great movies, Top Gun, Rain Man, A Few Good Men, The Firm, etc. Unfortunately, I would argue he’s only been in one good, original movie (meaning no sequels) in the past decade. Some of you may disagree but when you compare 1986-1996 to 1996-2006, it’s pretty clear his career has really tanked.

Why? I’m not here to play Freud. All I know is breaking up with Nicole Kidman didn’t do him any good. I think he should drop to his knees and go crawling back to her. Maybe then Katie Holmes could finally be free.

Yes, Jessica Simpson is beautiful. Though that’s about it, since stories of her intelligence–or lack thereof–are known far and wide. Much like Grandpa passed down stories of the war to you, someday you’ll pass down stories about Jessica Simpson to your grand-kids. And you’ll show them the video of her tuna quandary the way Grandpa showed you his gnarly shrapnel scar.

Jessica hasn’t really done anything for us lately. She’s done a handful of things in the almost 10 years she’s been around. But certainly not enough to warrant hanging around the way she does. And speaking of hangers-on… what’s up with her dad? He’s just disturbing on so many levels.

Until Jessica Simpson is in Playboy, I hope we won’t hear much from her in the coming years. (I only buy it for the articles.) Music has become a background hobby for Jessica and her movies aren’t exactly blockbusters, so I’m crossing my fingers on this one.
