A collaboration between these two titans, which began in 1946, was completed in 1999, some 50 years later, by Disney’s nephew Roy Edward Disney, using the original storyboards as well as notes taken from the journals kept by Dali’s widow.

Disney and Dali’s original work — a mere 18 seconds of test footage — can be seen starting around 5:17.

As evinced by the copyright notice at the start of the short, this incredible slice of history may not be with us for much longer, so dawdle at your own risk.

Can you imagine the chaos of a truly open forum? Where anyone can walk off the street and ask any question? I’d pay to see that! “Mr. President, when are you going to announce the presence of UFOs at Area 51?”

Well wait, did people have to submit questions for the town halls during the campaign? The thing he’s best at is handling himself in front of a crowd..

Why on earth would Gibbs be fired for his performance? That seemed like pretty standard fare from a White House press secretary. Whether the administration was right or wrong, he didn’t really have much to say on the topic, beyond the obvious, and just humored the press until he could get past it.

The press was just doing their job as well. And I’m glad they did. Hopefully, they’ll keep doing it. Mostly importantly, we’ll keep posting videos of them actually doing their job. This is how it’s supposed to work.
