This story has been submitted by Vonnie from Illinois (USA).

So I met this guy through a mutual elementary school friend. We talked on the phone for a while before our first date.

I arrived at his home as he comes out of the house with what appears to be a cocktail in his hand and says “Can we take your car?“
I drive a 1987 Lincoln so he goes on to say „Well I’d like to drive“.
I asked him if that was cocktail he was drinking? He says no and so I agreed to let him drive.

After the first few minutes he starts driving like a maniac, speeding and hitting the brakes really hard. I asked him to slow down and be careful with my car but he didn’t seem to notice.

We arrive to the movie theatre and as we get out of the car he immediately goes to a corner in the garage and urinates… WOW, so I said „Hey they have bathrooms in the theatre“.

We get to the reception area in the movie theatre and the line is extremely long because it is opening night for the new Transformers movie “Rise of the Fallen”. We stand in line to find out they are sold out.
My date then decided to go up to the ticket agent and says “I bought tickets online but left them”. Well they couldn’t find his tickets anywhere because he was obviously telling a lie about buying them in the first place.

John (lets call that my daye) gets really irrate demanding tickets that he really didn’t buy so they directed him to customer service where he continued to perform. Finally, the movie was sold out so we had to wait anyway.

Well we decided to wait in the bowling alley/restaurant until the movie started. The hostess in the restaurant wanted to seat us but he insisted on sitting at the bar. The hostess mentioned if you want a table come back up to the hostess and let her know.

We proceed to walk to the bar when John suddenly changes his mind and we walked over to sit at a table. I immediately said “Hey, we have to let someone seat us, we cant just grab a table“.
John doesn’t listen and we sit down. The waitress comes over with menus and he is rude as hell to her so I try my best to be extra polite to the waitress.

The manager comes over and ask if we were seated and John says that the hostess just let us in. Well needless to say he got the hostess into trouble.

Once our food arrives I offer him hand sanitizer since, he never washed his hands from urinating in the parking garage and he refuses saying “There is nothing wrong with my penis!”
He then proceeds to hand feed me french fries. By now I’m thinking of a way to ditch this guy.

We finally find a seat in the movie theatre and he doesn’t turn his cell phone off so its ringing and he answers and talks as if he is sitting in his living room at home. I told him to shut his phone off because he was disturbing people. John refuses again and acts as though he isn’t being rude.

Finally we get ready to leave and John has to pay for the parking. He acts as though his credit card doesn’t work in the parking machine and tries to get me to go back to the car without paying. I refused to go without paying so finally we get a paid parking ticket and go to get the car and then John decides to urinate in the parking garage again.

I couldn’t wait to drop him off and once I realized he had forgotten his keys in my car I didn’t even care.

Worst date ever

I met a guy who I’ll call J at a farewell party of my friend. J was a reserved fellow with a daughter and a broken marriage. Since we had a common friend and he seemed alright I did not hesitate when he asked me out for a dinner. Our date was rescheduled for a couple of times and when we finally managed to meet after two weeks he thanked me for fitting him into my busy schedule. I told him that it seemed that he too was equally busy with his job and his daughter.

While we dined I came to know that his daughter went to a Christian school where J thought she was being brainwashed. Her ex-wife had often told him that he would be going to hell for not being a Christian. Religion and his ex-wife were the topic of discussion for the next 30 minutes. After eating we went for a walk on the beach to sober up. As we were walking, he returned to his favorite topic – the horrible ex-wife. J told me that she had filed charges against him so many times that he had already lost count. He said that he wouldn’t mind if we went to her place and she would hold her still and I would beat and strangle her. He would be relieved if an “accident” happened and the police would find her in a lake somewhere.

I tried hard to maintain my calm and told him that I am not a violent person. He asked me whether I too had some stories about my ex. This was the first time he was actually interested in me but by that time I was already too afraid. While we reached the parking lot he smiled, hugged me and thanked for dinner. J wanted to meet with me again but I managed to evade the topic and went into the car and literally fled from that place. Thankfully I have never seen him again.
I hope her ex is alright.

I met a normal looking guy in Chicago. After two dates I still liked him and since he had paid during our previous dates we agreed that the next one will be on me.

Like usual I had 2 glasses of wine but since I was paying, my date decided not to hold himself back anymore. He had at least 8 or 9 glasses throughout the evening. While we were eating he overheard the people in the next table discussing the Middle East situation and he very loudly started to talk about how he thinks it should be settled.

I wasn’t interested in discussing politics and tried to steer the topic to somewhere else but he didn’t listen and continued until the people next table heard him. He was quite drunk and got into an argument with a few of them trying to prove his views right ant their thoughts wrong. I was utterly disgusted, so I just paid the bill and left.
When I left the last thing that I saw was my date fighting on the floor with another guy from the other table.

In spite of being a little nervous I decided to accept his invitation. He came to pick me up and we drove to his parents house. To my great surprise it was rather a ran down shack than a house. We went in to greet his family where I found his parents and his two sister and their children.

His father gave a sleepy look at me but didn’t really say anything. His mother asked me about what I do, where I live and what my parents do for living and so on. I told her that I belong to a conservative family and am a student in a high school. Suddenly, she interrupted me and asked, whether I have kids, it was totally unexpected and embarrassing. She went on with her views and according to her I was getting past my prime time and that I should really think of having children with her son seriously. It was disastrous; I just asked them to excuse me for a moment, as I need to talk to their son in private. I asked him to take me home right away, practically I just ran out of the door. He excused me and drove me home. I told him very clearly that I am not going to see him anymore. He seemed really surprised but there was no way I was going to have children at 17.

I started working at a departmental store in a mall when I was just 16year old. One day my eyes suddenly fell across one of my high school friends entering the same store that I worked in along with two guys who I didn’t know. After a casual “Hi” one of the guys just opened his eyes wide and just exclaimed that he really likes me and he has never met someone so gorgeous before. He even asked for my number.

His forwardness undoubtedly appeared a little strange but since I didn’t have much dating experience back then I felt flattered. Since he was a friend’s friend I didn’t see any harm in giving him my number.

Later that evening when I got back home, I found six messages from the guy on my answering machine. Now, for an experienced and matured woman these would have been the advances of a psycho but for an inexperienced teenager like me it was enough to stimulate my feelings. Hence I called him. The phone conversation went great – we both liked common things like movies and music. When he asked me out I did not refuse.

The next weekend we planned a group hangout with some of my friends and his buddy to accompany us. He made me get into a car with him while my friends and his buddy rode the other. At every opportunity he tried to hold my hand and every time we stopped at the traffic signals he tried kissing me. It was very uncomfortable and I tried to stop his advances in every way possible but he kept on talking about our so called relationship and about its future until I briefed him that I wasn’t willing to get into any serious relationship at present.

However, later that night he pulled me aside and said that he had realized that we are from the opposite poles and are not meant to date but he would want me to hook him up with one of my girlfriends. I was really disgusted and yelled at him to hook himself up! He started approaching my friend but she also refused to date him. After a long pursuit she finally gave in and agreed.

They dated for a couple of months until she realized that she had been dating a loser when at one of her parties he got wasted and started harassing me. I think he could not take my rejection and tried to avenge it.

After seeing him act like that my friend dumped him.

My best friend was asked to the prom by our high school mascot. I didn’t want to be left out so I asked a nerdy friend to accompany me at the prom. He wasn’t the guy of my dreams but at least he looked good, kind of like Keanu Reeves.

While me and my friend were shopping for the prom, she pulled me aside to show some lingerie that she was planning to buy for the prom night. It was a rather slutty pink-laced thong made of satin. She asked if I was planning to have sex with my date after the prom? “No way”, I said. Then she told me about her plan. She was going to dump her date after the prom was over and then have sex in a hotel room with my date!

I still went to the prom as I planned and my “friend” followed through with her „sex in a hotel with my date“ arrangement. Needless to say it felt a little awkward going to the same school with both of them after that.

My worst date ever happened in the freshman year in college. I met a really cute guy who lived on the same dorm floor and who in spite of being a little awkward seemed nice. Once I saw him playing a piano and after that I was hooked. We spent the entire night discussing music – it was really great! It felt like for the first time ever I had found a soul mate.
After the night of discussing music he asked me for “dinner sometime” and since I was really into him I readily accepted the offer.

To my great surprise John was at my door the following evening and I found out that by “sometimes” he meant the very next day and finding me not ready for the date he slammed the door shut. Anyways, I got myself into a dress and somehow we set off for our date.
We took the subway and got off near a local mall. It was a strange place for a date but since I was hungry and they had several restaurants it seemed like a good idea at the time. Instead of going and grabbing something to eat John decided that we should hit the shops first as he needed to buy some things. He spent nearly an entire hour in the power tools shop but he was clearly not going to buy anything.

After an hour, when I thought that we might be leaving now, he told me that he needed to collect some job applications so we had to go to almost each shop to get as many applications as possible.
After a good 3 hours we eventually went to a restaurant and luckily we were offered a seat for two immediately, may be because my hunger could be felt from the expression on my face by then. John sat right next to me and gave me a stare accompanied with a smile. I hadn’t had such a drastic dinner in my entire life, he sent back the food for at least five times and argued a lot about a soda which he had already drank. He seemed to think that it was actually not a diet cola as he had ordered. He even refused to pay for it. The waitress gave me a look of pity every time she passed by. The service was excellent but my dating experience had already turned soured by then.

At last our date ended and we went back to the dorm. John escorted me to my door and asked me for another date. This time I already knew better and I refused without even giving a second thought. I thought he would just leave, but he refused!

Worst date ever!

I met a guy online on OKCupid and after a few weeks of texts and messaging I agreed to meet him.

We met at a cheap bar that had a live band that night and there was a $3 ticket. As I was reaching into my purse to buy myself a ticket, my date said:
“3 dollars! F**k this – we’re not going!”

We agreed to go to another place that was less than 5 minutes away. My date offered to give me a ride but I didn’t want to leave my car behind – so we took different cars.

In the new bar he starts talking how much money he has and that he is actually a millionaire. He also spent at least 20 minutes talking about her ex girlfriend and how much they used to love each other.

Since we had emailed each-other for a few weeks before actually meeting the guy new that I had 2 children and that I had been divorced for 3 years.

That’s when he thought its a great time to tell me:

“People who marry are stupid but people who get divorced are even stupider”

Knowing about my children he also thought that:

“Young moms with children should have their kids taken away from them because children can not grow up without a father”

After about 30 minutes of him telling me that everything I had done in my life was wrong and bad I got u and threw a 20 dollar bill on the table and told him not to contact me again.

As I was leaving I heard him say:

“Your drinks are at least $30″

A good looking friend I had been into for a while asked me to a Valentine Banquet.
Since I didn’t want to go alone we decided to make it a double date – we took my friend Jessica and his boyfriend with us.
Since I really liked this guy I had taken my time to dress up – even bought a new skirt and shoes!

During dinner it must have rained outside because the stairs were a little wet. My girlfriend Jessica slipped on top of the stairs and reached out to keep her balance. She thought she grabbed her dates shoulder…
But actually she got me and ripped the top of my dress off and the bra as well.

Worst date ever.
