Sony Xperia Acro S water proof smartphone announced

Sony has announced a new addition to its Xperia series of smartphones. Sony Xperia Acro S has a 4.3 inch display with a scratch proof mineral glass on top of it. The display is 720p HD reality which is powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine and is very durable. The smartphone also comes with wet finger tracking and is dust and water-proof.

Looking at the hardware, Xperia Acro S is equipped with a 1.5 dual core Snapdragon processor with 1 GB of RAM. The newest Xperia will run Android Ice Cream Sandwich and will have 16 GB of internal memory. Xperia Acro S has a 12 megapixel Auto-Focus camera with flash, it is capable of recording 1080p videos. The smartphone has a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera which can record 720p videos. You can connect the smartphone to an HDTV through the HDMI port and Xperia Acro S also supports the NFC technology.

Sony Xperia Acro S will be available worldwide from the third quarter. It will be available in pink, white and black color versions.
