Everyone has an ilvl of 560+, so there shouldn't be any reason why we can't and this frustrates me. Our team in the past had an open mind on trying encounters slightly different then the most common method and it worked for us. Now a days, people are so closed minded on how to do things and that there is only one and nothing different can be successful. The collapse of our team is imminent, just who will be the first to burst? When it comes to ilvl/gear and it being the only reason in people's minds why we can't kill a certain boss, I say it helps for a faster kill but skill is equally important to success. Skill will help you move and be aware of whats going on and gear helps you perform those tasks....both equally important. It is so easy that it would be impossible if a group has trouble with it. The 384 gear is all right for the people who can't get into normal raids but what about the people who have a terrible computer that can't perform as well as they could in 25 man raids and can't do 10 mans on their own server? I myself do 10mans with my guild but my computer is getting old and can't support the 25man raids. I tried it once hoping that it would be ok and I was wrong, framerates were consistently under 10. If blizzard can do 25's, why can't they do 10 man raid finder for us poor people?I only see one solution for myself at the moment for this problem, but I don't think anyone is just going to send me a new computer. To those who share my issue, good luck finding those 10man raids on your own server, just think, it's better gear anyways.

Dragon Soul and New 5mans

This past week was the opening of the end of Deathwing. The 5man dungeons story line lead up to the final raid encounter "Dragon Soul". I am so sad to say that when our 10 man raid group went in, just us, the fights looked easy and we shouldn't have any problems with the fights, but for some reason our group was not on the ball this past week. I am so embarrassed to say how many we got, but i can say we did not clear. I think back after the first day it was released and found so many guild have cleared in only a few hours of release and we could not. Instead of getting our regular 6/7 in one night, we got 4/7 and that was just barely. Normally I help and get the group together, but I just had to see what he would come up with. Terrible of me to sit back and watch the horror but he asks for it. He doesn't consider if an invite on calendar is for a 10man raid and you invited 15people, that in the end if all 15 people accept, who would you pick and choose to come? Usually I take our regular 10 players, invite them, if 1 or more haven't accepted by the last day or two before the raid day, then I find replacements. Just because you are able to queue for these dungeons with a ilvl of 346 doesn't mean you should be doing them. If you have the gear and your dps is low, figure out how to play your character! What happens when it works for most raiders but a few cannot make that change? Do you say tough luck and replace them or fight over a time that could possibly work with all? I think the raid leader should make every effort to make it work with all and at the same time not to get to frustrated with the battle of time. If the leader makes a suggestion about raid time that works for them, then it has to work or there won't be any leader. In our guild, my hubby is guild master and our main raid leader, basically there isn't much issue with whatever he decides, but always have that one player who can't make it. With 4-9hours a week to progress can be difficult but no one complains and it is always fun with them. But when 1-2 can't make it and no guildies to fill the spots, pugging is last resort. Generally on our realm, pugs most likely are inexperienced players who haven't even walked through the doors of any raids.
