Bake At 375 For 1 Hour. Then, Brush Generously The Top Of The Bread With Some Of The Remaining Melted Butter You Have And Bake For 15 More Minutes.

I Just Bought A Himalayan Salt Slab And I Am So Excited To Use It! I Got A Great Deal.

I Paid $24.95 At Marshall's And I Saw The Same Size Same Brand Stone Online For $58.95.

In Case You Don't Know About These Salt Slabs I Will Tell You All About Them.

Salt Brick-Plates Can Be Used To Cook, Chill And Serve. One Brick Three Uses!

First, Cooking With It - Warm Slowly In Either The Over Or On A Low Flame On Your Stove Top. Then Remove And Place On A Trivet Or Other Heat Safe Surface To Cook. Then You Can Use It For Serving And It Will Make A Great Conversation Piece.

Second, Chill Or Cure With It - Chill The Slab For Several Hours And Place Your Foods Onto The Chilled Slab And Watch It Slowly Cure Or Chill. When You Have Cured Or Chilled To Perfection Serve On The Slab For That Extra Wow And Create A Conversation.

Third, Serving With It - You Can Use This As A Regular Serving Platter. If You Have Soft Foods Like Cheese To Serve They Will Slowly Pick Up Some Of The Salt Flavor. If You Use It For Harder Foods Like Crackers They Will Look Awesome On The Slab But Will Not Pick Up Any Of The Flavoring.

When You Get Your Own There Will Be Instructions On Use And Care. margin-top: 12px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">In A Large Bowl Add COLD Cream Cheese, Dill, Green Onions, Bacon And Lobster. Mix With A Hand Mixer On Low Just Until Mixed Together. This Will Be A Little Tough To Do Because The Cream Cheese Needs To Stay Cold. The Other Option Is To Mix It Room Temperature Soft And Then ReCool It After You Mix It Before You Go On To The Next Step.

In A Second Large Bowl Add The Granulated Garlic, Onion, Peppercorns And The Panko Bread Crumbs And Stir Well. At The Same Time Begin Heating You Oil.

With An Extra Small Cookie Dough Scooper, Scoop Heaping Portions Of The COLD Cream Cheese Mixture And Drop Them Into The Panko Crumbs 2-3 At A Time. Roll In The Crumbs And Then Pack The Balls Tight Like You Would A Snow Ball. Roll Them Again With Crumbs In Your Hand And Pack Them Tight.

Once The Oil Is Hot (At Least 375) Begin Placing The Balls IN The Hot Oil. It Should Only Take About 1-2 Minutes Total For Both Sides. As Soon As The Edges Begin To Look Golden Turn Them Over And Do The Same To The Other Side. As Soon As They Are Golden All Over, Really Just As Soon As They Look Golden Take Them Out Of The Oil To Cool. Do This Until You Have Used All The Cream Cheese Mixture.

Serve These Warm With My Lemon Grass Dill Dip. All You Do Is Take Them Out Of The Oil, Let Them Cool And Then Roll Them In The Crumbs Again, Pack Them Again, Be Sure The Oil Is Hot And Then Fry Them Again. There Is No Shame In Having To ReDo A few. I Have Done This Many Times And That Is Why I Know How To Tell You How To Fix It.

Lemon Grass Dill DIp

Lemon Grass Dill Dip

This Is A Simple Dip That Tastes Fabulous!
Wow Wings!

These Wings Are Great For New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day Or A Super Bowl Party. You Can Make Them A Couple Days Ahead Of Time And Warm The Up Just Before The Big Event Or Make Them Fresh As Your Guests Arrive.

Here’s What You Need:
3-4 Pounds Chicken Drumetts (Wings Cut Into 2 Pieces)
2 Cup Corn Starch
1 1/2 Cup Club Soda
4 Tablespoons Granulated Garlic
4 Tablespoons Granulated Onion
4 Tablespoons Fresh Ground Peppercorns
2 Cups Franks Original Wing Sauce
2 Crushed Chopped Garlic Cloves
2 Tablespoons Butter
Canola Oil Or Any Light Oil
Wire Rack For Cooling
Wire Rack For Baking
Baking Sheet

Here’s What You Do:
First, Section The Wings If You Bought Whole Wing. With A Sharp Knife Cut The Wings At Both Joints And Discard The Tip. Trim Any Excess Skin Or Fat Rinse And Pat Dry With A Clean Towel.

In A Large Skillet Or Deep Fryer Heat The Oil While You Prepare The Other Ingredients.

In A Small Bowl Mix The Granulated Garlic, Onion And Peppercorns.

In A Medium Sauce Pan Add The Franks Original Wing Sauce, Butter And Crushed Chopped Garlic Cloves And Heat Until Warm.

In A Large Bowl Mix The Corn Starch And Club Soda. Dip The Wings Into The Mix Allowing The Excess To Dip Off And Then Add The Wings To The Hot Oil. Cook Until The Entire Wing Is Golden Brown. Remove And Place On Wire Rack To Drip And Cool. (If You Cool On Paper Towels They Will Not Be As Crispy)

After You Have Fried All The Wings And They Have Stopped Dripping. Dunk Each Wing In Your Warm Wing Sauce, Place On Wire Rack On A Baking Sheet At 425 On The Middle Rack In Your Oven. Bake For 5 Minutes.

Serve With Extra Wing Sauce, Blue Cheese Dip And Celery Sticks.

Merry Christmas To All!

From All Of Us At Wow Mom Cooking

Merry Christmas!

This Is Very Easy And Some Tasty. Nice Change From The Regular Old Apple Sauce.

Here's What You Need:6 Pears (Any Kind Red, Yellow, Bosc)
3 Tablespoons Pure Honey
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
4 Tablespoons Real Butter
Large Covered Skillet

Here's What You Do:
Melt The Butter In The Skillet On Low Heat. Peel The Pears And Cut Into 1/2 Inch Cubes. Place The Pears In The Skillet And Stir. Sprinkle With Cinnamon Stir Again And Cover. Leave Covered For 4 Minutes And Then Uncover And Add The Honey Coat All The Pear Pieces, Cover Again. Keep On Low Heat.

Check And Stir Every 4-5 Minutes Until The Pears Begin To Break Down And Get Soft. When The Pears Feel Soft Start To Smash The Pears As They Continue To Cook And Soften Even More. Stir, Smash And Cook Until The Pears Are Almost Smooth (A Few Chunks Are A Yummy Surprise).

Serve Warm For Something New Or Chill In The Refrigerator To Be More Traditional. Either Way This Is So Good.

I Served This With My Potato Cakes To Add A German Flair Of Wow To My Side Dish.

Potato Cakes

Potato Cakes

Theses Are Crispy On The Outside, Creamy On The Outside And Yummy All The Way Through. They Make A Great Side Dish For Breakfast Or Dinner.

Here's What You Need:
5-6 Medium Sized Potatoes
1 Medium Onion
2 Teaspoons Granulated Garlic
2 Teaspoons Granulated Onion
2 Teaspoons Sea Salt
2 Teaspoons Fresh Ground Peppercorns
Olive Oil
Large Skillet
Kitchen Towel

Here's What You Do:
Wash And Dry The Potatoes Cut The Onion In Half And Peel. Shred The Potatoes And The Onion Together And Place It All Into A Kitchen Towel. Twist The Towel Like An Old Fashioned Salt Water Taffy And Ring Out All The Water You Can.

Place The Potatoes And Onions Into A Large Bowl And Mix Together With Your Hand To Make Sure The Onions And Potatoes Are Mixed Together. Add The Granulated Onion, Garlic, Peppercorns And Sea Salt, Mix Everything Together So The Flavors Are Mixed Throughout The Entire Bowl.

Add Enough Olive Oil To Just Cover The Bottom Of The Skillet Heat On Medium High Heat. When The Oil Is Hot Take A Handful Of The Potato Mix And Pack Into A Ball And Then Flatten. Place Into The Hot Oil And Leave In Place For 2-3 Minutes. You Will See The Edges Begin To Brown. Turn Over And Cook For 2-3 More Minutes Until Both Sides Are Brown. Remove From Oil And Pace On Rack To Cool.

Serve With Sour Cream Or Apple Sauce (Or Make My Pear Sauce To Serve). Serve As A Side Dish With Eggs For Breakfast Or Steak For Dinner.

Hot Buttered Rum - Yum!

margin-top: 12px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">Place The Prime Rib Roast In A Large Bowl. Then You Have 2 Options.

Option 1 - Pour 2 Cups Of Buttermilk Brine Over The Roast Covering The Entire Roast And Leave On The Counter Until It Reaches Room Temperature. When It Reaches Room Temperature Remove From Brine, Discard Brine, Rinse The Roast And Pat Dry. Place In Clean Large Bowl And Rub With Fresh Ground Peppercorns, Granulated Garlic, Granulated Onion And Smoked Sea Salt. Make Sure You Cover The Entire Roast, Top, Bottom And Sides. Cover And Leave On The Counter While The Oven Heats To Temperature.

Options 2 - In A Large Bowl Rub With Fresh Ground Peppercorns, Granulated Garlic, Granulated Onion And Smoked Sea Salt. Make Sure You Cover The Entire Roast, Top, Bottom And Sides. Cover And Leave On The Counter Until The Roast Reaches Room Temperature.

Heat Oven To 500 Degrees. Place The Roast Uncovered Fat Side Down On The Rack In The Baking Pan And Place In The Oven On The Bottom Rack For 30 Minutes. After 30 Minutes Place The Stem Of Rosemary On Top Of The Roast And Very Loosely Cover With Foil. Place Back Into The Oven At 500 Degrees For An Additional 15 Minutes Loosely Covered.

Now, This Is Very Important. After The 30 Minute + 15 Minute Cook Times Are Completed Turn The Oven Off And Leave The Roast Inside For An Additional 90 Minutes. DOD NOT OPEN OR PEAK!!! Only After 90 Minutes Check The Temperature Of The Largest Part Of The Roast If It Hits 140 You Are Ready, Almost.

Once You Reach 140 Degrees Remove The Roast, Leave It Covered And Let It Sit Of 20 Minutes. It Will Cook Just A Bit More And All The Juices Will Be Locked Inside And They Will Not Run Out When You Cut Into The Meat. After 20 Minutes Remove The Bones, Slice And Serve.

I Serve This With Potato Cakes, Creamed Spinach, Tomato Salad & Crusty Italian Bread.

Salted Caramels

Homemade Salted Caramels You Can Do This One Without A Candy Thermometer And I Will Share My Trick Of How With You. This Is A Recipe You Have To Watch The Entire Time. As Soon As It Begins To Boil Add Both Sugars And Bring Back To a Slow Boil.

Cook For At Least 15 Minutes Stirring Continuously. The Goal Is To Completely Melt All The Sugar And Combine All The Ingredients Together Smoothly. Do Not Over Boil. If The Temperature Seems To Be Rising Turn The Heat Down Just Slightly. Try Your Best To Keep The Temperature Constant.

After About 15 Minutes Stir In The Sea Salt And Then Test The Caramel By Taking A Teaspoon Of The Caramel And Dropping It The Bowl Of Ice Water, It Will Set Up From The Cold. If It Is The Consistency You Want Stop Cooking.
