Water Strider Mount Preview

For the moment, only the Reins of the Azure Water Strider is sold in game by the Anglers faction. It requires Exalted reputation and costs 5,000 gold before discounts.

This mount's handling is so intuitive that you can "safely" read a map or eat a snack while in motion.

The Reins of the Grand Expedition Yak seems to be a very expensive three-person mount that you can buy, like the Tundra Mammoth in WOTLK, at a very high price. The mount is HUGE and comes with two vendors. Estimated price is 60000g.

A new scorpion mount will be available : the Amber Scorpion. It's really beautfull ! No clue how to get it though.

The Water Strider is a mount i already told you about, but now we know how to get it. You just need to get exalted with the Anglers in Krasarang Wilds, and spend 5000g !

This new mount was added in build 15464 and hasn't been updated since then.
There is only a 3D model and a spell icon, but it's not implemented in the game yet.

Players who recruit friends will be rewarded with a new mount based on their faction : a Spectral Gryphon (alliance) or a Spectral Wyvern (horde), if the target of the Scroll pays for at least 30 days of game. Recruiters can only get one mount per scroll of Resurrection. If they want more mounts, they need to recruit more players.

The player who accepts a Scroll will get :

• A single character immediately boosted all the way to level 80 -- DING!

• A FREE upgrade to Cataclysm -- regardless of your friend?s original box level

• An optional FREE character move -- to your realm and faction so you can play together

• 7 FREE days of game time -- available immediately
