Lady reporter Damiana Garcia had a marvelous night at Logo’s RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 5 finale party at the XL nightclub in New York City. Love was all around as Damiana reunited with the queens from Season 5 and previous seasons, and a new winner was crowned. Damiana got to chat with (in order of appearance): Jinkx Monsoon, Alaska, Roxxxy Andrews, Detox, Coco Montrese, Alyssa Edwards, Sharon Needles, Ivy Winters, Michelle Visage, Jade Jolie, Manila Luzon, Shangela, Honey Mahogany, Vivienne Pinay, Monica Beverly Hillz and her date for the evening Dallas DuBois, Penny Tration and superstar Amanda Lepore. At the end of the night, the winner took to the stage, got crowned by Michelle Visage, received her giant $100,000 prize check and enjoyed an Absolut shot onstage, while Damiana enjoyed a cocktail in her Absolut souvenir glass in the audience!

Man of a thousand transformations, Christian Bale, shaved his head and grew a paunch for Silver Linings director David O Russell’s next film, American Hustle, which had been titled American Bullshit. The true-crime film, about the FBI’s Abscam sting operation in the ’70s and early ’80s, will also star Russell alumni Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams, and Robert De Niro, with the addition of Jeremy Renner, Louis CK, and Michael Peña. No Lily Tomlin.
