Ini benar-benar kabar buruk, All in One SEO Pack, a must have plugin yang memudahkan untuk kita mengatur hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan SEO di blog kita seperti blog title, meta description dan meta keyword, sekarang telah dihentikan pengelolaannya.

Entah apa alasan uberdose sehingga menghentikan support dan maintenance untuk plugin sejuta umat ini. Artikel terakhir di blognya yang terkait dengan All in One SEO ini hanyalah berita mengenai penerjemahan plugin ini ke berbagai bahasa tertanggal Oktober 2007.

Ini artinya aku harus survey lagi untuk mencari plugin baru yang kira-kira nanti bisa menggantikan All in One SEO pack ini :sigh: Saat ini, versi terbaru *dan terakhir* All in One SEO Pak (1.4.6.8) ini masih berjalan baik di WP 2.5.1, mari kita berharap saja semoga plugin ini tetap kompatible dan masih bisa dipake jika nanti ada update WP baru lagi

Btw, ada yang punya info tentang alternatif plugin ini?

Untuk masalah installasi, kurasa ga perlu dibahas panjang lebar, seperti biasa, download pluginnya dari sini, upload ke server dan aktifkan dari halaman admin. Atau lebih gampang lagi kalo pake plugin OneClick installer atau Plugin Central, cukup masukin alamat file zipnya dari wp dashboard.

Untuk mengkonfigurasi plugin ini, kita harus melakukannya secara manual.

1. Untuk memilih jenis tooltipnya, Bubble Tooltips atau Sweet Titles.

# Masuk ke hosting server kita lewat FTP, terserah mau pake FTP program atau net2ftp dan edit file tooltips.php, letaknya ada di wp-content/plugins/tooltips.

# Cari variable $fbtt_bubble yang ada di baris ke 35, dan ubah nilainya dengan 1 untuk menggunakan tooltip tipe Bubble, atau 0 untuk tipe Sweet Titles *saat ini aku pake Sweet Tittle, Bubble itu sudutnya bulat dan ada panah seperti kotak percakapan yang ada di komik2 gitu*

2. Menentukan apakah kita mau menampilkan tooltip itu disemua link ataukah hanya di isi artikel saja.

3. Untuk menyesuaikan tampilannya dengan template yang kita gunakan, ubah file css yang ada di folder wp-content/plugins/tooltips/css. Edit file bt.css jika menggunakan Bubble tips, dan edit file sweetTitles.css jika menggunakan tipe Sweet Titles.

Panduan Menggunakan Plugin Nice Tooltips

Jawaban pertanyaan itu sebenarnya ada banyak cara, tapi cara yang paling mudah dan sederhana adalah dengan mengubah kode template yang berfungsi untuk menampilkan daftar page yang ada, baik itu yang biasa di pake sebagai navigation header ataupun yang ditaruh di sidebar.

Hasil akhirnya akan menjadi seperti ini:

Contoh diatas biasanya dipakai di sidebar, untuk navigation header, prinsipnya sama saja, cukup hilangkan header <h2>Pages</h2>-nya.

Bagian paling penting dari kode diatas ada di parameter ‘title_li=’, disini kita memberikan nilai kosong sebagai judulnya, agar fungsi wp_list_pages tidak memberikan judul apapun dan hanya mengembalikan list atau daftar dari semua page yang ada.

Cara lainnya bisa dengan membuat aturan redirect lewat cpanel untuk memindahkan akses ke alamat page itu ke halaman subdomainnya atau bisa juga bila alamat subdomainnya ada di bawah folder domainnya, kita bisa membuat sebuah page baru yang namanya sama dengan nama folder subdomain itu dengan syarat kita menggunakan permalink /%postname%/ seperti di blog ini.

Mau make cara yang mana, tentunya itu terserah kita, tapi kalau ada cara yang mudah kenapa harus pake cara yang ribet

Disinilah aku menemukan bug aneh yang sedikit menjengkelkan di plugin Get Recent Comments.

Ketika aku meletakkan widget dari plugin Get Recent Comments ini di sidebar, bagian judul dari daftar komentar terbaru yang muncul di sidebar selalu berupa kata-kata

“%BEG_OF_TITLE%Recent Comments%END_OF_TITLE%”

dan bukannya “Recent Comments” atau kata apapun yang aku gunakan sebagai judul.

Sedikit search di WordPress.org, ternyata banyak juga orang yang mengalami hal ini, dan solusinya juga sederhana banget

Solusi: Setiap kali kita update sidebar widget, kita harus masuk ke halaman setting-nya plugin ini di Settings » Recent Comments dan klik lagi tombol Update Recent Comment Options »

Yup, segampang itu, tapi malesnya satu, hal ini harus kita lakukan tiap kali kita mengubah setting di sidebar widget-nya
