I found a pattern for a cowl that goes up over the head but, instead I turned this item into a cowl for just around the next. I had a long ways to go to make it into a hoody cowl. I may try this pattern again with thicker yarn. The yarn I used here was too soft and thin. That is part of the reason it took so long to make to here I had made it. This cowl will be listed in my etsy shop. Just go to www.wrappedNwarmth.etsy.com to see it. Maybe next time, It will turn out the way it was ment to turn out. My next project is attempting to knit a hat again. My first one didn't turn out to bad so, I thought I would try it again. It does take a while when knitting something. I'm not the best knitter but, I do try. I crochet more then anything. Ok time to go list this cowl. I added a new item today. My Chocolate arm warmers. I have them here in my pictures and in my etsy shop. These arm warmers definitely keep your hands warmer in the winter time. Leaving the fingers free to use when ever possible. So far, I haven't had a sale in quite a while but, I am hoping to start getting them soon with all that I have been adding. It takes a while to get stuff made and listed but, you just keep making and listing. I would like to have at least 100 items in my shop soon but, to do that, I have to keep making stuff. Sometimes I get a road block and not sure what I should make or what people want to see. I went on youtube and there is a lady who has all sorts of instructional videos. Her video's have helped me over the last 3 yrs to learn new crochet patterns. You can look her up under tjw1963 on youtube. She has the best video's. She had this hat pattern called the "Puff Stitch", so I decided to try it out. This is by far the easiest hat pattern I have ever worked with. There are a few increases but, not like the regular hats. This hat also looks great and fits great on the head. This was a pattern I got from a snowbird here in Florida. She gave me some trellis and a bead and the pattern to try it. Wow its so easy to make. So I made 2 of them. I may try different kinds of yarn to see how they turn out. I also made one using 3 strands of ribbon yarn. I crocheted all 3 strands and then braided them together and added the adjustable button.
