Nearly a year after the death of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, the investigation into his passing has officially come to a close. Authorities ruled that Hogan (real name Terry Bollea) died of natural causes and found no evidence of criminal activity.

However, Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, says she still has concerns about the handling of the investigation. Moreover, she believes several questions remain unanswered.

Recently appearing on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show, Brooke criticized the Clearwater Police Department’s handling of the case. She also admitted feeling frustrated by the lack of communication throughout the investigation.

According to her, investigators publicly thanked her for cooperating, but she never felt fully informed about what was happening. She claimed that obtaining records and information emerged as a difficult affair. Moreover, many of her questions did not produce answers or only received incomplete explanations.

As she looked deeper into the details surrounding her father’s final moments, Brooke said she noticed several inconsistencies that made her question the official timeline.

Brooke raised concerns about the medical procedures that followed Hogan’s death. She questioned why a family physician signed the death certificate instead of a forensic pathologist. She also admitted she never received the autopsy information she expected.

Hulk Hogan’s daughter also questioned references to toxicology findings. She claimed she had heard issues involving blood samples and other records.

“Normally, most autopsies take place within 72 hours of the person dying. So I don’t know how long this information lasts in your eyeball or in your blood or wherever they can pull it from. But they said they didn’t have his blood, but yet they were able to have a toxicology report and they don’t want to list that there was an autopsy on the official record of death on the death certificate. So make that make sense to me,” Brooke said.

Brooke also mentioned that she initially believed the family would eventually receive a complete explanation of the findings. But those answers never came.

“They played Sky’s 911 tape to me. And at the time, I felt like, ‘Okay, everybody’s cooperating. I feel good. Like, we’ll get the we’ll get the results of the autopsy back.’ But then when the autopsy never came back to me and I kept asking for it, and I kept asking for it, and I kept asking for it, and then it was getting changed. And I asked, ‘Well, what could make a doctor 10 months later make changes to an autopsy?'” Brooke said.

Another issue Brooke pointed to was surveillance footage from Hogan’s home. She said her father had an extensive security camera system, yet she has been unable to get clear answers about whether any footage exists from the time of his death.

One of her biggest concerns involves conflicting accounts of where Hogan was found when medical help was called.

“My brother told me and my husband, we both heard it, that he died in his chair. Then the report says they found him on the floor. Who found him on the floor? Where were the nurses? Where were they coming back from? Why was Sky the only witness to him not breathing?” Brooke said.

For her, these differences in the reported details have made it difficult to fully accept the official version of events.

Former WWE star Ryback recently looked back on a memorable moment from his career. He revealed how a last-minute change forced him to throw away an entire promo script given by Vince McMahon, just minutes before RAW went live.

The segment took place on the May 20, 2013 episode of RAW during his feud with John Cena. Ryback was ready to deliver a promo that he had previously prepared. But about 45 minutes before the show started, he went into McMahon’s office. McMahon informed Ryback that the promo had taken a new direction.

Ryback ditched Vince McMahon’s script and delivered the promo his own way

Recalling the moment in his latest post on X, Ryback wrote,

“What most people don’t know is that I had originally been given a completely different promo earlier in the day and spent hours memorizing it. About 45 minutes before RAW went live, I was called into Vince McMahon’s office with the head writers and told to forget everything. They were rewriting the entire promo from scratch.”

Things only got more stressful from there. Officials handed Ryback several pages of new material and then loaded him into an ambulance for the show’s opening segment.

“I was handed multiple new pages and told this was the new script. With only about 8-10 minutes before Raw started, I was rushed out of the office and loaded into the ambulance for the opening shot of the show. I’m sitting in the back of a pitch-black ambulance trying to read pages under my phone light while hearing the show begin,” he wrote.

At that point, Ryback realized there was no chance he would be able to memorize everything in time. Instead of trying to force it, he made a bold decision.

“At that point, I knew there was no way I was memorizing any of it. So I made a decision. I tossed the papers aside and told myself, “Just go out there and talk,'” he wrote.

When the segment aired, Ryback came out of the ambulance and cut the promo largely off the top of his head. Standing on top of the vehicle, he challenged Cena to an Ambulance Match at WWE Payback.

Ryback told the crowd that while Cena had retained the WWE Championship in their previous encounter, the rivalry was far from over. He explained the rules of an Ambulance Match. Moreover, he predicted that Cena would be the one leaving the arena in the back of an ambulance. The promo also had insults aimed at the crowd, as Ryback leaned fully into his heel character at the time.

Looking back, the former WWE star still considers the segment one of the proudest moments of his WWE run.

“Looking back, it felt like a setup for failure. But sometimes what feels like a setback is really an opportunity to prove to yourself what you’re capable of. Thankfully, it all worked out, because bombing a live promo while standing on top of an ambulance in front of millions of people—and then having to climb down afterward—would’ve been a long night. Pressure doesn’t build character. It reveals it,” he wrote.

“And and it took a really long time for me to figure that out and figure out exactly what he wanted that I understand it now. And like I said, it’s f*cking cringy when I watch my old stuff like, ‘Oh my god, like why am I so, you know, over the top?’” he said.

The Scottish star returned to the ring for Pro Wrestling EVE in the UK on June 5, only weeks after leaving WWE. Her quick return surprised some fans, as most former WWE talent must wait 90 days before competing elsewhere.

Speaking to Daily Star after the event, Kay Lee Ray explained that her WWE contract had run out. Ray also revealed that staying with WWE was an option, but she ultimately decided it was time to move on.

“My contract was up, and I knew it was coming up, and I did a decision of whether I wanted to stay or not. And I know some other people got fired, and they have a 90-day clause. But because mine was just contract ending, it means I didn’t have the 90 days, and I was able to come and do this,” Ray said.

Her comments explain why she was able to wrestle again almost immediately after leaving WWE. Since she wasn’t released, she was free to accept bookings as soon as her contract expired.

I’m always going to try and do that to my best ability. Same with the Secret Hervice stuff. It wouldn’t have been my go-to, but I had a lot of fun doing that,” Ray said.

On her Instagram Stories, Belair posted a video showing herself bending the injured finger during physical therapy. The clip showed clear improvement and showed that her recovery is moving in the right direction.

“One thing about being pregnant… it’s really given me the time to get my finger better!!! We are still on therapy and We are bending!” Belair wrote.

Mysterio tried to do a Hurricanrana from Penta’s back and landed awkwardly on his neck. The landing looked scary, especially considering Mysterio’s long history of injuries and surgeries. It looked like he might actually be hurt.

However, Mysterio performed the move and immediately got back to his feet. Just moments later, he even hit his signature 619 and delivered a springboard splash on the champion, showing no signs of slowing down.

Mysterio’s ability to keep performing at such a high level while many of his peers have already retired is commendable. Even at 51 years old, he continues to pull off moves that many younger wrestlers would think twice about attempting.

According to Fightful Select, discussions took place several months ago regarding a possible return for Keith Lee.

However, despite internal discussions, those plans have yet to materialize, leaving fans still waiting for the former champion’s comeback.

Fightful Select reported that AEW sources confirmed Keith Lee’s return to television programming had come into consideration months ago. The report noted that while discussions took place, nothing ultimately came from those plans.

“AEW sources confirmed to Fightful Select that Keith Lee was discussed for a return to AEW programming a number of months ago. So far, those plans haven’t come to fruition.”

The report further stated that it remains unclear how far those discussions advanced or whether Lee knew about the topic of his return.

Sources close to the situation indicated that if AEW had followed through on the original idea, Lee would likely have returned by now. As a result, any previous creative direction may have been altered, postponed, or quietly dropped.

Lee has not appeared on AEW television since December 2023. He was originally scheduled to face Swerve Strickland at AEW Worlds End 2023. However, AEW announced on the day of the event that he did not earn medical clearance to compete. Dustin Rhodes ultimately took his place on the card.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champion later revealed that he had been dealing with an injury dating back to September 2022. Since then, Lee has occasionally hinted at a return. He had sent a message to fans in 2025 assuring them that he would wrestle again at some point.

Another factor creating uncertainty is Lee’s medical status. Reports indicate that if he required clearance from AEW doctors, he would likely need to undergo a multi-week evaluation process. As of now, there is no indication that process has begun.
