Why The Numbers?

There are many questions future wristband customers ask and one of the main questions Is why
have Serial numbers on the wristbands? To many this may be silly however when you really think about it to some people having numbered armbands are irrelevant. On all of the Tyvek® wrist tickets that are not in the closeout section of the website come with serial numbers on the Adhesive tab. Per Box of wristbands the band comes sequentially numbered. Like in the image: The boxes of Tyvek bands come either in 100, 500, or 1000 count and in each set the bands are sequentially numbered. Having sequential numbering helps in many ways. First the Customer who receives wristbands will be able to keep track of the attendees at his event.
The numbers will be unique

to them and that helps keep down fraud. Another way in which the numbers help is for accounting purposes the numbers on the wristbands will help the event coordinator keep track of how many people actually are attending their event and be able to track profit for the night. Numbers can also help differentiate between different sections in the Venue for instance General admission from VIP. Having this unique feature adds security to any event. Tyvek wristbands are not the only that come numbered however having that extra step on the bands comes Free with Tyvek wristbands. Vinyl and Plastic Armbands also can be sequentially numbered however there is an additional charge of $10.00 per box of 500 and takes 7-10 business day to be done. Now if your a party planner and are holding an event where the bands just means your allowed in and that you paid having numbers won't necessarily make a difference and that is Why we have the Closeout Section of the Website. Close out bands are usable wristbands and are very similar to the Solid color and / Designs bands we have on the website. The difference is that Close out bands may be discolored, no numbers or even misprinted. Our Tyvek Paper Wristbands come in 3 different sizes. 1 inch size, 3/4 inch size and 1/2" size. These bands cannot be removed and share because once the wristbands is removed because of our security features on the adhesive part it cannot be resealed. We do not advertise on the boxes or on the wristbands for our customers security. Wristbands are a great idea since they do not get misplaced, no need to count them, less expensive, no need for stubs or tacky tags.

You can buy different color wristbands and designs and assign them for different days to use, no need to customize. We also carry the High Security wristbands in different size like 1" tyvek high security or 3/4" tyvek high security, these have symbols that can only be seen under a black light if you want to make your entrance more secure and do not want to customize. But if you think that you need more protection why not customize for each day and put the name and the date or a special symbol for your wristbands per day. You can also add Advertising or a promotion to your bands, use a layout, cool fonts, your logo, an image that may suit your needs.

How to Use 2D Codes for Business

The term “2D code” is used to describe the category in general, not any specific type of code. Some of the most common types of 2D codes include Datamatrix, EZ Code, Microsoft Tag, QR Code, SPARQCode and ScanLife, among others.

Even though 2D code usage is increasing, the average consumer hasn’t used one yet, so you’ll have to help them get started. Typically, this means putting a short caption underneath the 2D code that tells people where they can download a reader for their phones, and explains the process of scanning the code.
