Some advertisements are too much misleading. Just a couple of months ago there was a huge ad campaign released by Philips in the local market. The ad quoted as saying, “Pay 2600.00 and get a 32” LCD”. I got myself in awe when I heard and read that ad. Why wouldn’t I grab the opportunity of getting myself a Philips 32” LCD at a dirt price. The marked prices of those LCDs vary from one hundred thousands and above. So if I could get it for just two thousand and six hundred, I would definitely buy more than one LCD. And more importantly I am ready to pay up to five thousands for that LCD.

But, the amount of two thousand and six hundred could merely be a monthly installment to be paid. Keep on paying that sum for a year or so which excludes some down payments as well. These electronic products are easily available in installments. Normally these products can be bought in installments after clearing 20% to 30% of the total amount and the remaining in equal installments. This is a good scheme for all but sometimes these distributors create confusion among the consumers.

If the same slogan is applied by real estates, one can probably buy a house ranging from fifty thousands and above. Same thing is applicable when buying vehicles as well.

So, these kinds of misleading ad campaigns should be avoided by producers and distributors. These ads only bring frustrations in consumers and at times they have to face severe embarrassment in places.

If you ask me about my favorite day in a year, I would instantly reply "October the 31st". Everyone must have been familiar with October the 31st which is celebrated as Halloween. For me this special night is more than a valentine's day or a new years day. It's the night when you get to get out of you, yourself and embrace a different one at least for a couple of hours. The only
occasion where you can be the one who you like to be and indulge yourself in the world of fantasy. Halloween night is all about thrill, excitement, joy and happiness. The one and only day of rejoice in a whole year is Halloween night. The Halloween is a unique tradition which is believed to be originated from Irish society and later introduced in the north America, Europe and in some places of Australia.

This time around I have very high expectations on celebrating this Halloween with all my friends including myself dressed in Halloween Costumes which everybody will surely have their unique dresses. I have already chosen the Superman Costume as it is one of my all time favorite characters and will be a real superman for the night. We don't have any kind of haunted house near our neighborhood and that's the only thing which we will be missing. If only we had such a haunted house it would be a great opportunity to get into it and meet the real ghosts.

I am not a professional web master but I do have some knowledge about html codes. Some years back I had designed my own personal home page using some simple codes and other web page building softwares. Though my home page is simple, I have tried to make it a user friendly with simple navigations and quick links. Back then I never had the slightest of ideas of website templates. Lately I have come to know about them and I have already downloaded a couple of website templates for my upcoming project. I had designed another website which belonged to a non commercial group which I felt could not compete with other flashy websites.

Now the thing here is the difference between web design and web developing. Web developing need a lot of knowledge on programming languages and other complex codes whereas designing a web page doesn't require that much of knowledge. So when it comes to developing a good web page which can compete with other top web pages, website templates which are now easily available works out best. As far as my experience goes, I have used a couple of such website templates for my blogs and I am quite happy with them.

Cold War Through Advertisements

Recently I have noticed a cold war between two big business houses in the city. Some times back there was a picture in which a bald guy with a terrible expression of amazement was shown hurrying towards something and some other people also behind, following him. The message was quite clear which was to provoke the consumers to grab the opportunity of a life time. This was an advertisement related to LG electronic products.

It was only this morning that I saw another advertisement in the newspaper. This too had a bald man but hung upside down. And there were some people who were somehow similar to those of the previous advertisement. At first sight I mistook this advertisement to be one which belonged to LG electronics. After looking at it carefully this particular one belonged to Philips. The advertisement was intended to raise awareness to consumers to buy original electronics rather than assembled ones as some LG products are locally assembled.

Ok, if I was to buy an LCD whatever the brand be, which one am I supposed to go for? Is LG better than Phillips or is the other way round? Phillips claim their products genuine and original because they are imported from abroad but LG too claims that local assembling of the products makes them available at a very affordable price and the local techniques are no less than the foreign techniques. Again looking at LG, yeah it could be true when we look for genuine products. Keeping cost in mind, they could surely use materials with low quality or materials which are not even produced by LG itself.

The basic object of the later one was to create some fear regarding the consequences they would have to bear in the future if they go for cheaper and assembled products. And when this kind of war is created, the former always comes out on top. Here in this case, I am sure LG will be going far above Philips.

Will the price of petrol rich to the newest heights? There has been analysis’s of crude oil reaching two hundred dollars per barrel. It has almost reached a hundred and fifty dollars per barrel. Recently OPEC has confirmed that there is no need to increase the production but the price has reached to the highest.

The price of dollar had reached the all time lowest, some months back in the international market. But we can see a bit of improvement in the dollar as it is gaining its momentum. On the other hand, gold which has an inverse relation with gold too shows no sign of declining. The price of gold too had crossed its previous highs.

The increment in the price of gold doesn’t have direct effect on the consumer but the price of oil surely has. Gold can be referred to a security only. This can be felt with more intensity in the developing nations and when it comes to a landlocked country like Nepal, the worse will be happening.

However paper worked analysis can’t be always true. The prediction of oil to hit 200 dollars per barrel can simply go wrong. There were rumors regarding dollar that it would go below 50.00 in the local Nepali denomination which luckily did not happen. The price of oil too would not go to a 200 dollars mark. Simple calculations and looking at the current economy trend in the market is not sufficient to predict the future price of any commodities.

The thing which matters to the world is the dollar. The dollar has a very direct relation with the economy of the world and thus every nation is affected by the price of dollar. I never believed in winning in competitions of any kind however my belief has changed now. Recently I was able to bag a third prize in a competition. Hip Hop For Now

Rap and Hip hop music rules the music industry right now. It has become more than just music as it is more about attitude, love, respect and possibly everything. There are a number of new rap artists coming into the scene everyday. The domination of hip hop music can be felt by looking at the billboard top 100 charts as well. Most of the rock songs can be seen below fifty and most of the hip hop songs occupy the top 50.

Watching hip hop videos is really fun. One of my personal best hip hop video is the one called "I'll be missing you" by Puff Daddy and the video is simply great. And when it comes to rap lyrics the best so far in my view is the one called "I see you when you get there" by Coolio. This is a great piece of lyric and is beautifully sung as well.

So all in all hip hop music has all the essence that other genres have. It is pleasant and at times hip hop songs are very inspiring. Next time when you enter a music store, do not forget to pick up a hip hop album. You'll enjoy it more than anything.

The Most Expensive Sunglass

I was just scanning through a newspaper and suddenly got stuck in a small section called “Brand News”. The title of that snippet was “D & G bring out most expensive shades”. I am not a brand conscious person but this particular title attracted me quite a bit. Upon reading the whole paragraph, I could not help my jaw from dropping wide. The model of the most expensive sunglass from D&G is stated as DG2027 B which has the marked price of three hundred eighty three thousand six hundred and nine dollars. Phew….. Can you believe it? But the snippet was not well detailed one because only the price had been stated but other extraordinary features were not stated except for, the DG2027 B had gold rim with soothing brown lens.

D & G is not a strange name for anyone as they are the pioneers in the fashion industry. They have made a terrible mark in the fashion industry and D & G has become almost a synonym for fashion. This time around they have come up with a very expensive pair of sunglass. I am not sure if any single pieces of them have been sold or not? But, there are some people in the world who would definitely want to have this glass and if someone buys it, it won’t be a surprise to all. And I am not even sure of, whether this particular model DG2027 B is the world’s most expensive sunglass or not. But for most of the people of the world, it would be better burn in the sun than to buy a pair of DG2027 B sunglasses.

Pursuing higher education is in no way a simple thing. It needs a lot of time and as you are surrounded by family responsibilities makes it almost impossible to complete your education. Food Crisis

The world has experienced a dramatic rise in the price of petroleum products as well as gold. To add more woes to the condition, the newest threat is food. In some parts of the world, the scarcity of food can already be seen. The World Food Association had recently conducted a three day urgent meeting in this regard.

With the oil price rising, the dollar had lost its value in the international market. But recently, the dollar is gaining some momentum but the price of oil shows no sign of declining and so does the gold. In olden days I had thought that gold and dollar had an inverse relation which has been proved wrong at this time.

But the main concern right now is food crisis. What if people could not afford to buy food? People can stop buying gold but in no way they can stop on feeding. This is a very serious problem and what we can only hope for the developed countries taking up some precautions and coming up with a solution. Poor countries don’t have the ability to do so and they are the ones who will be suffering a great deal in this crisis of food.

I have seen so many art enthusiasts in my locality. Most of them could be regularly seen at the art galleries. I always wondered why those people were so interested in such fine arts. I am acquainted with some people who love sketching and one day I happened to see an oil painting. It was so beautiful and I couldn't keep my eyes off of that sketch. Since then I too have been a fine art fanatic and have been visiting all possible galleries.

Nepal Oil Corporation At The Dead End

How long would Nepal Oil Corporation keep on yelling that the corporation has been incurring heavy loss? Everyone knows it and Nepal Oil Corporation too has been issuing public notice with detailed loss from time to time. What could anyone do?

The concern here is that whether Nepal Oil Corporation would be able to fulfill the daily demand of petroleum products to the market or not? The general public would not accept the price hike and the Nepal Oil Corporation has no other option to increase the current price of those petroleum products. Without clearing the previous dues Nepal Oil Corporation will not be able to import petroleum products and it doesn't have enough fund to clear the dues. The price of petroleum products in the international market has crossed all the previous highs but the general public here would not bear the hike of such petroleum products in the local market.

If ever the price is hiked, the political parties would try to make it a political issue because there is a new party in the government. But there are people who are willing to buy such petroleum products from the black market where they have to pay almost double of the price, but those people are not willing to compromise with the Nepal Oil Corporation hikes the price. It is strange.

There has been a very big problem in the Nepal Oil Corporation in financial perspectives as when it was at the peak, the profit earned could not be invested in a proper manner. Now the Nepal Oil Corporation and the government has very little option to ensure smooth supply of petroleum products in the country.
