To mark the day, our school/club has organized a Blood Donation Camp on that day at 10 a.m. at our club premises. The camp will be inaugurated by Soumen Dey, hon’ble B.P.H.M.O. of Mahesail. A team of eminent doctors from Jangipur Sadar Hospital will conduct the camp. Nowadays, there is an acute blood crisis in the blood bank. A drop of blood can save a life. So, all willing individuals of our school/locality are requested to enlist their names as a doner as soon as possible to make the camp a grand success.

ABC SCHOOL:-On account of World Environment Day, a garbage cleaning operation held in our school on 5th June 2019. On that day, all the classrooms, school grounds, school premises, and the adjacent areas of our school were cleaned and the garbages was removed. To make the program successful, all the students were divided into several groups and there was a teacher in each group to guide them. The students were provided brooms, buckets, and spades to clean the garbages. The whole program was supervised by Mr. Rabindranath Das, hon'ble headmaster of our school. To mark the day, some saplings were planted around in our school premises. All the teachers and students performed their duties with enthusiasm and a picnic spirit. At the end of the program, sweets were distributed among the students and teachers. The program ended with the concluding speech of our headmaster thanking all the teachers and students for co-operating to make the program a grand success...

“May Day” is a historical term. The type of constitution has been evaluated through ages.

Present democracy is evaluated from the monarch and the feudalism. During the reign of the monarch there existed the system of kings and slaves. In the age of feudalism, there existed the system of Landlord and his subject. After the first Industrial Revolution in the 1700 century in Europe. The society was divided into two classes the merchant and the laborers.

After the industrial revolution, people began to throng in the industrial areas of the cities from the different parts of the century. As the demand for the manufactured commodities was so high that the merchant began to utilize the cheap labor of the labor-class to make more and more profit. The workers had to work since the sun rising to the sun-setting. They had offered unhealthy accommodation to live in and filthy food to eat. As a result of this inhuman torture and oppression of the merchant, their accumulated distraction exploded as a great movement. They called all the workers of the world to be united and announced that they would not work more than eight hours in a day. With their various demands, they organized a great workers rally in the “Hay Marker” in Chicago City of America on 1st May in 1886. On that rally, the police killed thousands of workers by firing. A current of blood flowed in the street. Yet they didn’t retreat of their demands and the workers waved their bloody dress in the air as the sign of their bloody struggle to encourage the workers to continue their struggle till the fulfillment of their demands. Later their demands were recognized all over the world. In order to honor and remember their sacrifice and struggle the workers of the world. Even today, observe the day every year on 1st May. But Now-a-days, the fundamental rights of the worker often being interrupted.

On the way, he saw a bird seller, selling birds in the cage. Seeing the birds in the cage, the soldier remembered his own suffering in the prison. He took pity on the birds. So, he decided to buy all the birds from the bird seller and he did so. He bought all the birds from the seller. Then, he opened the door of the cage to let all the birds to fly out. One by one, all the birds flew out of the cage in joy and began to fly freely in the open sky. It seemed as if they were thanking the soldier for freeing them. In the long run, the soldier began to walk towards his house in glee...

Once upon a time, there lived a widow in a village. She had none but her only son. One day, suddenly her son died. The lady was very shocked at the death of her only son. Someone advised her to go to Lord Buddha who can restore her son’s life. She at once ran to Lord Buddha and requested tried to console her. But she didn’t listen to him. She insisted to return her son’s life. At last, Lord Buddha ordered her to bring a handful of mustard seeds from such a house where death had never entered. At last, Lord Buddha said to him, “I can bring back son’s life provided that you can bring a handful of mustard seeds from such a house where death had never entered.” Hearing this, the widow began to run towards the village like a mad in search of the mustard seeds. She went door to door but she could not find any house where the death had never entered. At last, the lady came back to Lord Buddha with her broken heart and told him, “I couldn’t find any house where the death had never entered.” Then Lord Buddha consoled her saying, “Death is common to all.” In the long run, the old lady went to her home consoling her death is common to all.

King Solomon and Queen of Sheba Story

Once upon a time, there was a king in a country. His name was Solomon. He was famous for his intelligence/wisdom. The queen of Sheba heard his name. She was very curious about the wisdom of King Solomon. One day, she invited him to test his intelligence. King Solomon accepted her invitation. One day, he arrived in the court of the queen. The queen gave him a warm welcome. To test his intelligence, the queen placed a bunch of original flowers and a bunch of artificial flowers on a table. The flowers were the same to look at. Then, the queen told the king to identify the original flowers. Then, King Solomon ordered to open all the doors and windows of the palace. After a few minutes, the bees entered through the windows and doors and sat on the original flowers. It helped the king to identify the original flowers. Then King Solomon easily picked up the original flowers and he handed it to the queen. The queen of Sheba was very much happy and admired for his wisdom.

Historic Achievement of Kanyashree Prakalpa

The historic "Kanyashree Project" was launched by the chief minister of West Bengal Ms. Mamata Banerjee in 2013 is now bearing the fruits of her out-standing farsightedness.

This scheme was launched on 1st October in 2013. The first Kanyashree Dibas was celebrated on 14th August in 2014 in every block of the state. On that day, the chief minister felicitated 50 girls students for their achievement in different competition as well as distributed prizes. The purpose of the scheme was to improve the life and the status of the girls by helping economically backward families with cash so that the families do not arrange the marriage of the girls before 18 years. The aim of the scheme was also to uplift those girls who are from poor families and thus cann't purse their higher studies due to the tough of economic conditions. It has been given international recognition by the United Kingdoms Department of International Development and UNICEF. Recently West Bengal Government is honoured with U.N.Public Service Award for Kanyashree Prakalpa..

There are six seasons in a year with different characteristics. They are Summer, Monsoon, Autumn, Dewy Season, Winter and spring.

Among them, Autumn is my favorite season. I like this season for many reasons. In this season, the weather remains calm and pleasant. Nature takes a new bright look. The sky remains clear. Sometimes pieces of white clouds float over the blue sky. At night, the light of the bright moon and twinkling of the stars creates mystery at night. In this season, flowers like Shephali, Jasmin, Lotus, Roses blossom spreading sweet fragrance in the air. In this season, the greatest festival of Bengals, Durga Puja held along with Laxmi Puja and Kali Puja. We wear new gala dresses and visit various Puja pandals with my family, relatives, and friends. All the members of our family and relatives get together in this season and various special foods are cooked. So, it may be also called a season of re-union. I enjoy these festive days very much. In this campaign, the bike riders are advised to put on Helmet. Heavy and Light vehicles can't be driven in inebriation.Various slogan is put up on the roadside hoarding-speed kills, Always wear a Helmet. Don't make driving with drinking. The petrol pump owners are instructed not to offer fuel to those bike riders who don't wear a Helmet. Inhibition various awareness campaigns have been initiated. The local police station, Various school, and local citizens are taking out road safety really all over the West Bengal. Sometimes the roads safety week is being celebrated in Various places of West Bengal. We are hopeful that in the coming days our roads will be safer for commutes...

Who does not like to go to a tour? A tour to a certain place always refreshs one’s mind overcoming his monotonus of daily life. Recently on 25th December 2017 on account of “Chistmas Day” , I went to Lalbag with my family after my annual examination. Lalbag is a place of historical interest of Murshidabad which is a famous district for historical places and monuments. It was a bright sunny day of winter. We hired a Tata Sumo car for this tour. We set out early in the morning that day and reached there at about 9:30 a.m. Then we took our breakfast at a restourant. Then we visited the interior part of Hazarduary, a giant building consisted of one thousand doors. There we saw a plenty of weapons and house-holds things used by the Nababs of Bengal. From there, with the help of the local guide, we visited the Imambara, Wasif Manzil, Motijhil Park etc. Then we took our launch at a nearby hotel. After launch, we again visited KhoshBag, Katra Mosque, Kath Gola, Nasirpur palace etc. Having seen the relics of the historical monuments, I became a nostalgic and it seemed to me history became alive in my inward eyes. I captured a lot of photographs of the sweet moments and monuments in my camera of my phone. At the end of the day, we returned home bearing the sweet memories of the day in our hearts. The tour still hounts in my memory...

Sir,

I shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow me a little space to ventilate my letter through your esteemed daily to draw the attention of the government about my deep concern regarding spreading of dengue in our locality. I belong to the ward No-10 of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. 30 people died of Dengue all over the state among them 5 belong to our locality. Nevertheless the municipal authority is indifferent and silent to this matter. Rather garbage and drains in our locality remain uncollected and uncleared day after day. In spite of our repeated appeal, they have taken no measure to clean them and to prevent dengue. As a result, the number of Dengue related patients and deaths are increasing day after day. The situation is going to worse to worst.

Under the circumstances I would like to request the Government as well as the concerned authority to take immediate measures to clean the garbages and prevent dengue as soon as possible otherwise situation may go beyond control.

ABC High School:-This year on account of The World Environment Day, Pranabananda Vidyapith organized a Tree plantation program on 5th June 2017 at the school premises. Mr. Samar Samanta hon’ble D.I(School) inaugurated the program planting a tree. Among some other dignitaries Mr. Kantilal Bose hon’ble B.D.O. of suti-ii Block, Mr.Humayan Reza local M.L.A. and Mr.Sontosh Bagchi hon’ble O.C. of suti police station graced the occasion. On that day, some saplings were planted around the school premises. To mark the day, some cultural programs like drawing and debate competition and a drama based on the environment were held. In his short speech, Mr.Samanta appreciated the programs and urged to organize such type of programs more and more. At last, all the participants were awarded. The program was ended by the concluding speech of the headmaster of the school thanking all to co-operate and make the program a grand success.

A bus Dashes Against A Tree:3 Died

Malda, June 26:- A tragic bus accident claimed 3 lives yesterday at around 4 p.m. at Sujapur of Malda. The accident took place when a high-speed bus from Berhampur lost its control and collided against a large tree. 3 passengers including two women and a man died on the spot and 30 others badly injured. The wounded passengers were removed to Malda Sadar Hospital. There 2 were let off after the first aid and rest were admitted. Among them 5 are serious. The excited people blocked the road for an hour in protest against that accident that caused great traffic disruption. At the police came to the spot and brought the situation under control/restored normally.

Kolkata: June 12 :- Kolkata is no longer safe for living. This was proved again on Monday. A really daring buglary took place in a flat at Salt Lake in Kolkata. It was a small flat where an old man lived with his family. It was about 11’O clock in the morning. The old man was alone in the flat as all other members had gone either to office or to school. The door bell rang the old man expected that the arrival of the Gas cylinder. As he opened the main door a gang of robbers entered the flat made the old man absolutely helpless with the threats. Then open the Almirah, they gathered ornaments and cash not less than 3 lakhs. After their departure, the old man recovered himself within half an hour and called the police. According to the police, they have found some important clues, though the robbers and stolen money and jwellery are yet to be traced...

Childhood:-His original name was Narendranath Dutta but his parents called him Billey. Since his childhood, he was a meritorious, intelligent, courageous, meditated, and a little bit naughty boy. He had a great curiosity about religion and God.

Work-life:-Later, he met Shri Ramkrishna and became him, devoted follower. He profound knowledge about Hindu religion. He showed sympathy to all the poor, down-class and down-trodden people and addressed them as a brother. He went to Chicago to attend a religious conference to glorify the Hindu religion and won the heart of people all over the world. According to him,” Serving man is serving God”. He set up Ramkrishna Mission and Belur Math at Belur.

Death:-This great hero monk breathed his last on 2nd July in 1902.

Conclusion:-Though, he is no more in this living world but his contributions will last forever.

Her evenful life came to an end on 20^th September in 1933 in Madras(Presently Chennai) in India.
