Domainite.com Freelance Writing Jobs

2015-01-07T10:05:00.003-08:00

Domainite.com is an online business that provides print materials, logo and graphic design assistance, social media marketing, website design, and Internet marketing help. If you take a look at the official website, there is a contact phone number at the head of the homepage, and a list of the services this business has to offer.

I have spotted countless ads on Craigslist asking writers to work for Domainite.com. This company is apparently always on the lookout for new writers that can handle blog posts and daily articles. However, you must have a Paypal account (easy enough), and you MUST be available to work on weekends (Hmmm).

Did I mention the pay? Well, it's $1 per 100 words you write. Again, here is another business that pays one cent per word, which is extremely low. However, if you're a fast writer, this can potentially amount to something worthwhile. I have spoken with writers that craft 500-word articles for $5, but they only spend about 10 minutes writing them. If you're one of these writers, then maybe Domainite.com is an opportunity to consider.

On Domainite.com, you will find a writer's application that must be filled out so you can be considered for the $1 per 100 words payday. Okay, that sounds a bit sarcastic, but when you think about it, if it takes you an hour to write a 500-word piece, then $5 is not going to cut it. The reality is $5 for an hour of labor is not even minimum wage, and the employer is then breaking the law.

I found a few negative reviews posted online from writers that worked for Domainite.com. One writer stated that she spent the better part of a day on a piece that was less than 300 words, and then the editor/owner of Domainite.com stated that it wasn't even suitable, and then denied her payment.

In conclusion, I certainly don't recommend that you waste your time on writing jobs like Domainite.com. It's better to find freelance writing gigs that really pay a living wage. Avoid these people who're trying to take advantage of your skills and time so they can make their fortune.

Freelance Writer Standard Pay

2015-01-05T10:51:00.002-08:00

Freelance Writer standard pay is very unclear. As you may know, there are pay standards for most fields or types of work. Therefore most people graduating from college expect a certain wage or salary once they're hired. Obviously the economy has taken a drastic turn in recent years, and many pay standards seem to have gone out the window. So, where does this leave the freelance writer?

First off, there doesn't appear to be an industry standard for freelance writers anymore. According to payscale.com, freelance writers earn between $23,574 and $114,940 each year. Wow, that's very vague. It really doesn't tell you how much you'll earn writing web articles, blog posts, emails, ebooks, resumes, and ad copy. The average hourly rate is $11.87 to $61.78. Where do you fall on this "average" pay scale?

A lot just depends on whom you speak with. I have recently talked to a few different freelancers in order to get a better idea of freelance writer pay standards. One writer told me he doesn't go by hourly wages, he simply charges 20 cents per word, and stays very busy with a list of clients he's catered to over the years. Another writer told me he crafts articles for as little as one cent per word, but he writes them so quickly he earns about $50 to $60 an hour.

It looks like freelance writer wages vary depending on the writer and the work he or she does. There is certainly freelance work out there that pays a heftier wage, but the buyer or employer will be looking for exceptional copy. This might mean an edit or two will be required. There are also plenty of website and blog owners interested in fresh and accurate articles, but they do not have to be written on the level of The New York Times.

A lot comes down to your personal preference and writing experience. Do you prefer to spend two hours writing a 1,200-word piece for an online magazine, or 15 minutes writing a 350-word blog post? Take a moment and post your feedback. I would love to hear from other freelancers and copywriters.

Fiverr for Writers - A Waste of Time?

2014-12-30T10:32:00.003-08:00

Fiverr is essentially a global online marketplace. Anyone can join the Fiverr community, and all sorts of services are offered. The catch is - everything is only $5. Regardless of what you need done, you can find it on Fiverr. This includes graphic design, freelance writing, video and animation, advertising, translation, editing, online marketing assistance, and more.

Okay, back to writing for Fiverr. Let's say you're a freelancer, and you're looking to make some extra cash. So, you take five minutes to register with Fiverr, and you post your gig. This may be writing a 500-word article on a specific topic or keyword phrase. If someone hires you, your write the article and get paid $5. That is, as long as the client is satisfied.

Here is the sad reality. When you sell that 500-word article, you only get $4, because Fiverr takes one dollar. Woohoo, you just made $4 bucks, which is less than 1 cent per word. The question is, how in the world is this a good deal for the writer? Unless you reside in China or Mexico, I can't see how this is a decent writing gig.

Some writers flock to Fiverr with the thought of acquiring long-term clients that will pay more down the road. Think again! Once you have sold your services for $5, the clients will want to continue to pay $5. Heck, they may as well; there are plenty of other freelance writers on Fiverr to choose from.

In short, Fiverr for writers is a waste of time. If you stop to think about it, making $4 for crafting an original, 500-word article is pathetic. Especially when there are clients that pay 5-15 cents per word, or more. As a freelance writer, it's important to make sure you don't sell yourself short. If you're not even getting paid minimum wage, there's something wrong. Lastly, the more you settle for less, the less money you will continue to get paid.

DotWriter.com Pays Pennies

2014-12-28T09:23:00.000-08:00

So, there's another writing opportunity out there for freelancers. It's called DotWriter.com. You craft unique and useful articles, and you get paid. At least this is the idea. Let's take a closer look at how DotWriter works, and find out whether or not this article sale site is worth your time and effort as a writer.

As a writer, you can sign up for a free account. According to DotWriter.com, you submit an original article, and the site/editor has to approve the article so it can be posted on the website for sale. This way potential buyers can view the article and see if they want to purchase it.

What about the pay? Well, you can sell your articles for one cent per word. Therefore if you write a 750-word article, it will by listed on DotWriter.com for $7.50. The buyers are never charged any additional fees. However, the writer has to pay DotWriter 20% of each sale. In other words, you only get $6 for that 750-word article. Hmm...

It's wise to do the math before you get involved with a web content dealer like DotWriter.com. How much is your time and expertise worth? Can you really imagine writing a 1,000-word article, and only making $8. That's absurd! As far as I can tell, DotWriter is another content mill that plans to make all the money, while you do all of the work. No thanks!

If you have the expertise, it makes more sense to sell your articles and blog posts to clients that pay real wages. Market yourself on writer forums, Linkedin, and freelance writing websites. If you prefer to sell articles that you already have written, try a website like ArticleSale.com, so you can dictate the price, and you make all of the profit.

Realistically you're never going to make much money through websites like DotWriter. These sites only devalue your skill set and leave you broke and frustrated. Furthermore, if you by chance acquire long-term clients via dotwriter.com, they will expect you to write for them at the absurd rate of one cent per word.

Writers Beware of Jason Swanson

2014-12-03T07:05:00.000-08:00

Writers BEWARE! There is an individual who goes by the name Jason Swanson, and he claims to provide solid copywriting work, but he DOES NOT PAY! He is located in St. Louis, MO. His ads often say that he needs writers immediately. He will ask you to start the same day or tomorrow. He asks you to write a minimum of 5 articles daily, but up to 25 each day. He will ask you to work on weekends and turn in all work by midnight the same day. He will also say that he can pay you in two weeks, but then on a weekly basis afterward, via Paypal. When he hired me, his email address was jayswayson@gmail.com, but this email no longer works. He also provided a second email for a supposed coworker Thomas Lish, which is tolish86@gmail.com. He immediately canceled these email accounts on December 1st, when he was supposed to pay me. Do not fall for this scam. He will probably use a different name and email address next time. I noticed that he posts all over Craigslist. I contacted him through all the posts I could find, and he closed them all immediately. He also has a profile on Freelanced.com. If you have any information on Jason Swanson or his shady copywriting business, please contact me.

Here is the writer guide he sent me.

Writer Guidelines for Jason Swanson

1. Daily Work Load: You will be asked to complete a minimum of 5 articles per day. This can increase as time goes on, if you like. Writers can inquiry anytime about increasing or decreasing workload. Articles must be turned in by 11:59 central each day. Work will usually be assigned in the mornings before 8 am central, and due by the evening 11:59 pm central. However, if that timing schedule doesn't work for you, then please just let me know. This is long term, and I would like writers who can work for me for a year or more.

2. Accepting work: All assignments must be confirmed! Any assignment that isn't confirmed within 12 hours will be reassigned. Writers can reject anything they are unable to write. I'm also here to help, as it may seem overwhelming at first. Assignment emails will read subject line "Assignment" Revision emails will read subject line "Revision." Revision must be turned in same day.

3. Turn in: Writers must turn in all assignments as attachments saved as the article title. Article guidelines will be given before your first assignment in an assignment email that contains the instructions for the assignment, as well as other vital information. Writers must follow all directions closely, and ask questions when needed.

4. Invoicing: Writers must turn in an invoice for payment. Payment is only made through paypal. Invoices should be made by each individual on an excel sheet, and sent direct email as an attachment. Writers should use excel to create invoices. Invoices should include "writer's name" "Number of article completed," "The titles of these articles" "Dates of completion," "date of invoice," and "paypal address"

5. Payment: Payment will be made on the 10th and 24th of each month. Payment for articles is $5 per 100 words or $15 for 300 words, or $25 per 500 words. However, this can vary from project to project. Please state that you understand and accept this, as the basics were laid out in the job description.

6. Penalties: Any work that is not turned in without prior notice will be subject to a $5 deduction in pay per article or article set. This may seem a bit harsh but deadlines are essential, and I'm very understanding and if you need extra time, then all you have to do is ask. However, writers will be limited to only 3 extra time days per month. Once your days or used up, then the penalty will be applied. Most assignments are not flexible with the deadlines, sorry!

FlexJobs for Freelancers

2014-11-06T12:07:00.001-08:00

As a freelance writer, finding steady work can be tough. Ask any freelance writer, copywriter, freelance editor, or website content writer who works from home. On the bright side, there are more and more writing opportunities emerging each year. It seems that most reading sources are being converted to the Internet. One job posting board or website where you'll find freelance work is FlexJobs.com.

Let's take a closer look at FlexJobs. This website provides leads on countless freelance jobs in more than 50 different categories. Great! Flex Jobs allows you access to dozens of telecommuting jobs. Awesome! This website posts new jobs every day. Wonderful! But, there is a catch. It's not free!

How much are you going to have to pay to get access to these freelance writing jobs and telecommuting gigs? Well, prices start at $14.95 per month. Now, think about that for a second. That's about $180 a year for a membership to a job board. If you're looking for work, you probably don't have $15 to fork out each month. Right?

While I appreciate the concept of FlexJobs.com, I have no interest in paying a monthly fee to see what jobs are available. Since when do we have to pay to get a job? There are major job boards and websites like Careerbuilder.com and Monster.com that charge nothing. Not to mention a number of other freelance writing job websites that can assist you.

Feel free to browse through the Flex Jobs website, but keep in mind that you can't apply for any of the available work until you pay the fee. While this may be okay with some people, I'd rather get paid to work. I have no intention of paying for work. Check out these free job postings.

Triple Curve Writing and Editing Jobs

2014-10-29T12:59:00.001-07:00

If you're a freelance writer, editor, or copywriter, then you may be familiar with Triple Curve. While this company is not that old, it does employ a good number of writers and editors. Like other freelance writing opportunities, Triple Curve allows people to work remotely. You just need a computer and Internet access. The question is, how much is your time worth?

Like many freelance writing businesses, Triple Curve makes a lot of promises. I recently spotted a few job posts for this company, so I decided to apply for an editing position. In order to apply, you have to revise an article Triple Curve provides. Note that this article is literally in shambles, and appears to have been crafted by a six-year-old. Regardless, I spent 30 minutes revising the article, and submitted my finished product.

A few days later I was informed that I could now edit for Triple Curve Enterprise Content. I thought to myself, cool, this might be a little extra income on the side. Soon enough, I was sent an email that informed me I could edit brief blurbs or descriptions. I was to take a look at each one, and decide if it should be approved or not approved. For each one I approved, I would be paid 2 cents. You heard right, 2 cents.

Okay, I'm not sure how valuable your time is, but my time is money, and there is no way I am taking the time to read through and approve 50 blurbs for a whopping $1. This is absolutely absurd, and furthermore, this is America, not a third-world country. Needless to say, I'm not wasting any time on a content mill like Triple Curve Enterprise Content.

Before you make any rash decisions regarding freelance writing jobs, online editing positions, and SEO content writing, remember that your time is valuable as well. Moreover, you will make more money at a minimum wage job than you will at a content mill like Triple Curve. This is something to think about. Especially if you have real bills to pay.

There are plenty of clients out there who will pay a solid wage for your expertise. Seek them out. Although it can take a little time, it's well worth it. Just to give you an idea, I just spotted a freelance writing post for 500-word automotive articles that pay $250 each. If you have automotive experience and know your way around an engine, this is a good opportunity for you. There are countless clients out there that need daily blog posts, SEO content to build traffic to their websites, and businesses that need a copywriter with marketing expertise.

The moral of the story is, don't sell yourself short. Find real writing jobs that pay a living wage. This will help build your resume and refine your writing skills. Here is a good place to start.

12 Best Writing Job Websites

2014-10-08T13:07:00.002-07:00

The good writing jobs are becoming more and more difficult to find. It seems like there are so many content mills out there that pay next to nothing for your valuable time. Some prime examples are Elance, Demand Studios, oDesk, Examiner, and CrowdSource. These websites/writing companies will drain you of your time, and eventually your soul. All the while, they make a fortune off of your hard work.

Unfortunately Craigslist is another prime example of BAD writing job opportunities. If you take the time to browse through the writing job and writing gig posts, you will find a deluge of sad and insulting writing jobs and freelance gigs. Many of these will offer you rates like $5 for a 500-word article or 1 cent per word. This is absolutely absurd, and you can be sure the people offering these jobs would never work for these pitiful rates. This is less than minimum wage.

Okay, on the bright side, there are some good places to find legitimate writing jobs and freelance work. Here are the 12 best writing job websites I have discovered over the years. I hope they help you find some great opportunities.

Indeed Writing Jobs

2014-05-28T06:09:00.001-07:00

Finding writing jobs can be difficult. Especially if you're looking for telecommuting writing positions that require no commute whatsoever. As you may know, these jobs are becoming more and more common. There are plenty of businesses and professionals out there looking for copywriters, freelancers, and SEO content specialists. After all, outsourcing to freelance writers is often cheaper than hiring an in-house writer with a salary.

Indeed.com is a website that functions as a job search engine. This site allows you to search for available positions in any field, including writing. Two search boxes are available on the website, and they allow you to type in "what" and "where." If you are looking for writing jobs in a specific city, you simply type writing in the "what" box, and the name of the city in the "where" box. You can also just punch in the type of writing positions you are after, and leave the "where" box blank.

I tried out Indeed.com, and was pleased to find all sorts of writing positions available online, as well as in several parts of the United States. You can play around with this job search tool and see what you come up with. Be sure to consider the type of writing work you are seeking. If you are specifically interested in SEO copywriting, then type these keywords in the search box.

You do not have to spend any money to use Indeed. Each writing position is posted with a link. Simply click on the link, and you will be redirected to the company's website or an application form. There is no one-time fee and you do not pay for a membership.

Writing Jobs to Earn More Money

2014-05-22T08:41:00.001-07:00

As a freelance writer, you need to be sure you can bring in enough income to handle all expenses, investments, and savings. This often means acquiring more than one job at a time. While you may have a good contract position that pays the bills, how long will it last? You should also consider investments for retirement. After all, you probably don't want to work forever.

While it may be difficult to find multiple freelance writing jobs, it can certainly be done. Once you have your first job, consider how long the contract position is for. If it's only for three weeks, then you'd better start looking for other work. If it's for six months, then get a feel for the writing position, and continue to keep an eye out for more freelance work or permanent writing jobs. You need to be sure you have enough money coming in to take care of monthly expenses and possible emergencies.

You will find that it's not that difficult to juggle two or three contract writing jobs. Once you get the routine down, it's like a typical day at the office. Only your office is at home. Just be sure to excel at your work, and deliver excellent copy, articles, or web content to each employer. This better ensures future work with the same business or company.

It's imperative to consider a savings account. Sure, you might be earning a hefty some at this point, but you need to think about dry spells. Sure enough, there will be times when you're not bringing in much income from your writing assignments, sometimes nothing at all. This is why it is prudent to start a savings account. What you do not need for bills and groceries, set aside for hard times. Separate a percentage of your income for investment purposes as well. It's never too early to invest for retirement, and your money will grow over time.

There are plenty of writing jobs to help you earn more money. It just takes a little time to find the right ones that fit you, your skill set and knowledge, and your finances. Do your best to hold onto two or more writing positions at a time.

Article Submission Websites for Earning

2014-05-19T12:55:00.001-07:00

Many freelance writers and bloggers consider article submission websites that pay. These sites are also used by many stay-at-home moms and individuals hoping to earn a little more money. The question is, how do you earn from these submission websites, and do you earn a decent wage? Well, we are going to go over the basics of article submission and the various websites that allow you to submit your original content for cash and/or ad revenue.

First of all, some of the major article submission websites include HubPages, eHow, Ezine Articles, Triond, Constant Content, Squidoo, and Technorati. You've probably run into at least one of these websites before. They are loaded with articles submitted by people all over the world. The topics range from computers, to sports, to gadgets, to current events, to movies. Pretty much anything you want to submit, as long as it adheres to the article submission website's guidelines. Many of these sites do not accept pornography or certain types of violence and foul language.

What about the money? This too depends on the specific article submission website. While some submission websites pay you a flat rate that is based on the topic and word count, others allow you to earn revenue from ads that are placed on the article pages you create. For instance, this is how HubPages functions. You submit original, high quality, and informative pieces, and they are potentially approved by the editors. Once your articles are public, you can start earning from the ad revenue. Naturally you do not receive 100 percent of the earnings. HubPages gives you 60% of all earnings, while they receive 40%.

Although article submission to websites might sound ideal, there are a few drawbacks. First of all, you do not get to decide what articles you write get published and posted in the database. Secondly, your articles can be unpublished at any time. Also, you have no way of knowing if you are really receiving the monthly earnings you are supposed to. Furthermore, you basically have no control over your work and future earnings.

On the plus side, article submission websites allow you to have your work seen by many, because these sites are so large, and they bring in all sorts of traffic. This can also help boost your monthly ad revenue. But, if you take the time to browse the web for feedback on these submission sites, you will find a lot of writer complaints. Apparently many writers have had good earnings from submitting articles, and then all of the sudden, their accounts were closed, or all of their work was unpublished. Suddenly their earnings plummet to zero.

While you can certainly explore a few content websites that allow you to publish your work, keep in mind that you can also do this on your own. If you want control over your website or blog, consider free mediums like Blogger and Wordpress. You can start your own site, and post as much as you like, and not have to worry about an editor or administrator shutting you down for no apparent reason.

Writing From Home and Getting Paid

2014-05-16T06:27:00.001-07:00

Maybe you're a freelance writer, or maybe you recently made the decision to try writing from home. Well, if you are like most of us, you want to make some money for the writing work you do. The question is, what online writing jobs really pay you? This is a topic that comes up endlessly in writer chat forums. As you may already know, there are plenty of freelance writer websites and article submission sites that pay you mere pennies for your blood, sweat and tears.

So, how do you distinguish the real writing jobs from the countless rip-off writing positions found online? After years of working for several different online content businesses, I have to conclude that the majority of them do not pay well. In fact, many of them want you to create articles that are 300-1,000 words in length for around $5 to $10. Not to mention, these articles typically require some serious research. Needless to say, writing from home and getting paid is no easy task.

Craigslist is a major hot spot for freelance writers and new writers that are striving to work from home. Unfortunately Craigslist is riddled with false writing gigs and at-home writing jobs that barely pay. For instance, while many writing job and writing gig posts on Craigslist claim to be a legitimate writer position with loads of work for you, they are often scams. Maybe they want you to pay a one-time fee to get started, or maybe they want you to fill out surveys. Virtually none of these "writing jobs" are legitimate. I have yet to see a survey site that actually pays you, and you should never pay anything to start working for a legitimate employer.

This brings us to real online work that allows you to write from home and get paid. Businesses that are actually selling products tend to pay a real wage. This is because they are bringing in real money on a regular basis. On the contrary, article submission sites rely more on pay-per-click advertisements to bring in money. Therefore they are not making much money, so they are not willing to pay you hardly anything. Big surprise!

The reality is you have to take the time to really explore the online writing job market in order to find a position that is a good fit for you. How much is your time worth, and how much do you want to get paid for your writing skills? Start by checking out legitimate writer job websites like Morning Coffee and Freelance Job Openings.

On a final note, do not pay anything for any writing job or freelance position. Jobs do NOT cost money. The employer pays you! Also, feel free to steer clear of any absurd or degrading wages. Sadly there are plenty of employers out there that think writers can live on pennies. I hope these links help you find the writing work you need!

Demand Studios Writing Jobs

2010-05-29T12:10:00.000-07:00

Is Demand Studios legit? This is the question on the minds of many freelance writers and professionals that specialize in web content. Well, if you have worked for Demand Studios before, then you know that they are a legitimate source for writing work. After you are accepted as part of the Demand Studios writing team, you are then able to search through their listings for article topics to write on. You basically claim a topic, and then have a set amount of time to write it (about a week). This company creates unique content for sites like eHow, golf link, Livestrong.com, You Tube, and Trails.com.

First of all, you should know that it is not that difficult to apply for a writing position with Demand Studios. You simply fill out some forms online regarding your past writing experience, education and expertise concerning specific topics/niches. In regards to pay, articles 500+ words in length are worth about $15, while 200-300 word articles are worth $7.50. There are also shorter pieces you can check out and work on for less compensation if you like. As you have probably guessed, the range of topics is quite broad, and there is a little something for most writers.

Now for the specifics! Be aware that Demand Studios has a lot of little guidelines that pertain to what you write and how you write it. These details are presented to you from the beginning. So once you claim a topic, write about it, and then submit it to Demand Studios, it will be read and scrutinized by one of the editors they have on staff. If he/she does not like it for some reason or another, it will be sent back to you with instructions regarding edits that need to be made. This is where you need to tread carefully if you want to receive any payment for this piece. After all, you only get one chance to edit it correctly. If you make changes and resubmit it, but the editor does not think the changes you made are adequate, the topic and article are closed to you. Now you get nothing for the time you spent on that particular piece. Hmmm.

Although all employers have guidelines and specifics that must be followed by writers, it can be a tad frustrating to spend an hour on something, and then receive no compensation for your hard work. While Demand Studios does not fire you, they do tell you to move on to other topics. The problem I have with this is I do not believe you should spend your valuable time working on something and then receive no compensation for it. Does a software engineer spend a day troubleshooting a new computer program, but then not get paid for the day’s work if the software does not work correctly when it is time to head home? I seriously doubt it!

I have read a number of complaints from other freelance and web content writers about the ways of Demand Studios. Keep in mind that this is certainly a make-many make-large company that primarily cares about their own monetary gain. Not that this is a big surprise! However, if you choose to write for them, just remember that when you select a topic to write on, you may or may not get paid for your time and effort. Please feel free to let me know what you think of Demand Studios writing jobs.

Write for Money Jobs

2009-10-20T12:06:00.000-07:00

Do you write for money? If the answer is no, would you like to? Well, if you have fancied yourself as a freelance writer, blogger or copywriter of some sort, then it is time to understand a few basics about writing for money. Number one, you must understand that writing is a real job! Although many individuals from other fields often fail to see this, it is true nonetheless.

Since we have clarified that writing for someone else, such as an employer is a job, it naturally demands real money. After all, who can live without income or a steady paycheck? Therefore all freelance writers, web publishers, SEO content writers, and copywriters out there need to put their foot down. If someone wants to hire you to write for them, demand real wages. Write for money; not for free! How else will you pay the bills?

Would you ever pay someone to give you a job? Of course not! It is a JOB, which means they pay you for services rendered. So if you write for them, you need to be clear on what they will pay you for your work and effort beforehand. This brings me to writing for money scams. There are many of them online. Just take a look at Craigslist, and you will likely encounter "write for money jobs" under the writing jobs and writing gigs sections. However, when you apply to some of these "writing jobs," you will get a response asking for a "one time fee." It is typically $15, but could be a little less or more. This is a scam! They will tell you they are providing you with information that will make you a great deal of money for writing ads or something similar. This is not a job where you write for money! This is someone trying to sell you something. The only thing that is for certain is that they are going to make $15 off of you if you buy it. There is no guarantee you will earn anything.

A writing job should earn you money! If it fails to do so, it is not a job at all. What job, after all, pays nothing? Does a chemical engineer take a job position that may pay something? Of course not! Pay should be clarified in advance. If you feel that a post for a writing position is a scam, your instincts may be correct. Investigate it further before writing anything for them.

There are real writing jobs that pay. You just have to weed through all the bad ones and online scams to find them. Keep in mind that a lot of people out there are going to try and get someone else to do their work for them for free. Clearly it is something they cannot accomplish on their own for one reason or another, which means they require a writer to do it for them. Once again, writers get paid for their skill set and effort, just like every other professional.

Here are a few websites you can refer to for real writing positions that allow you to write for money: Freelance Writing Gigs, WAHM, and Freelance Writing. Many of the jobs can be done from the comfort of your home. In regards to pay, remember what your time is worth. Professional writers don't work for minimum wage.

The obvious reason many men and women are turning to home based employment and money making ideas online is the freedom. People are basically sick and tired of being a cog in the machine. Follow through is often where many people fail with a free home based business. They get stressed out in the first few months when they fail to see dramatic income results. Building a real at-home business that is successful takes real time and effort. Give it a chance! How much is it worth to you to have financial freedom, or at least the freedom of knowing you can't get fired tomorrow for some bogus reason like company budget cuts?
