Demi Lovato was on the cover looking radiant and although I think Cosmopolitan does not put enough Sistas on the cover of their magazine, they do have some pretty good content. One of the guest columnist was a therapist who written an article on fifteen reasons for just saying the word "No" when someone asks you for a particular favor, a question, or invites you to an event that you normally wouldn't be caught dead in. I have never had a problem with saying the word "No". There was a time when I used to put an expletive in front of the word "No", but I am no longer that bad girl. She is suppressed deep down inside me hopefully to never come out again.

But I do know lots of people who have a problem with saying the word "No" and often find themselves in miserable situations, places where they are miserable, and around miserable people. But really makes me wince, is when people rack their brain to make up lies about why they can't do what someone asks of them. *Sigh* Why lie? Last time I checked you were an adult, these people were not your parents, don't pay your bills, don't even offer you a stick of gum, and barely calls you to see if your're alive unless they need you for something. So here are MY reasons for saying the word "No".

Babysitting. Ok, so a family member asked you to babysit one time, you had nothing else better to do but sit at home and fold your laundry. It wouldn't hurt to babysit your little cousin CeCe and play a game of "Candy Land" while her mother goes to Club Dream for Ladies' Night. But should it become a weekend ritual to the point where she is calling your phone TELLING you what time she's dropping little CeCe off on Friday and what time she will be picking her up on Sunday? I think not. If you're single with no children, then I know you definitely have plans you want to create or keep. Its time to put your foot down.

Outings With Co-workers. I have never been a fan of going out with my peers from my job. Especially with supervisors. When supervisors start talking all that mess about how they are so proud of the team and want to treat them out to a weekend outing, its a set up. If it is not on company lunch time, I would say "No." First of all I have heard and witnessed too many horror stories of Supervisors taking their employees to bars, happy hour, resorts, buying rounds of drinks until they get sloppy drink and start their confessionals, for them to be fired first thing Monday morning. Just Say No.

Facebook Invites. Some people just do not need to have your facebook. Especially people who love to gossip and take simple three word statuses and mold them into indirect insults that they assume are about them. Last time I checked, facebook was for old high school friends to reconnect not for matchmaking, Co-worker meet ups or to promote music. In other words if a Nosy Rosy or Gossip Goose or somebody who you just can't stand adds you on facebook, just say no. Or better yet click "Decline".

The Request For Your Phone Number. I see this happen too many times. I have even done it a few times just to get out of the situation. When a guy asks for my number, I would either give him the wrong one, lie and tell him I have a man, or just give it to him and just not answer the phone. Or the chick who talks my ear off who requests my phone number to talk my ear off some more. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings so I just give her the phone number and ignore her calls. Why waste the energy when you can just say no? First of all it is too time consuming to think of seven random digits to belt out to the guy. Second of all, it is too mind boggling to try to remember which phone number is the chick who is up to her elbows in drama and wants to dump it on you as if you're her therapist. Just say no.

Crashing On Your Couch. Not crashing on your couch for the night to sleep off the alcohol until morning. But the crashing on your couch until they find another apartment or a job rather. Been there. Done that. And I will never ever in my life do it again. First of all, everybody and their parents have crashed not just on my couch, but in my second bedroom of my bachelorette pad I had on the Peninsula. People were messy, late on their half of the rent, and when the shoe was on the other foot ask me if they lent me at least a chair to crash on? Yeah. Take my advice and say no.

These are just a few reasons to just say no, without giving reasons as to why you said no. You are your own woman. Let's hear you roar!!!!

Then in New Jersey, a man stabs himself fifty times, tear his own intestines out and throws them at police. The policemen pepper sprays him but he doesn't even flinch. It is then documented that the man displayed zombie like behavior. After these three stories hit the media, zombie apocalypse theories started to go viral on the web. People even started buying zombie proof condos. Seriously. Zombie proof condos have actually sold out. People are posting instructional videos on youtube on the fastest way to kill zombies and how to hideout and what to store just in case of the apocalypse.

I understand people are scared because everywhere there are news reports of people eating other people in too close of a time frame. Just like in early January and February in one week several children were killed by their parents in Hampton Roads. However, though child deaths are very serious, reports of cannibalism in all across America is straight up bizarre.

Many specialist are saying that bath salts maybe what is behind the behavior. The synthetic ingredients that are in the products are destroying motor parts of the brain that are causing hallucination and violence. However, I don't believe that is true. Back in early 2010 many people were getting high off of bath salts everywhere and were winding up in the ICU or the morgue not attacking and eating the raw flesh off of the first person they lay eyes on. I pretty much think that there is a rise in evil in this world. The government gave a statement saying that there is no zombie attack or any apocalypse happening of any kind. How do they know that there is no apocalypse going on, is my first question. We all know that the government knows what exactly is going on. It is not a race thing either, so the black militants like the panthers can't say that there is an experiment that the government is putting on blacks because the Texas mother who ate her baby was Hispanic. I think there is a drug out amongst other things we don't know about that is causing this behavior. I am also praying deeply for the man who was attacked in Miami because from what the surveillance video showed, he was the wrong place at the wrong place at the wrong time. I am also very appalled with whomever it was that took a picture of his face and leaked it out to the media. That was very tacky, disgusting, disturbing and disrespectful. It was probably a nursing intern that had too much time on their hands. Oh and by the way the zombies who are doing the attacks do not look like this:

They look like this:

Although Zane is known as the queen of erotic, kinky fiction she steps into a whole new horizon with this particular novel. Two people at two different crossroads in their lives connect after a tragic encounter. Every woman fantasizes of randomly meeting a guy while out and about and falling in love. But the catch 22 is you have to NOT be looking for it. I give it five stars. It was different, passionate and intense. I loved the fact that the sexual scenarios was not her usual pornographic forte.

This particular novel touched basis on what is happening in churches in every city. Money hungry women who long for the benefits that come with men of the cloth. I think every woman who desire to be first lady for the wrong reasons should definitely sit down, curl up under her afghan and thoroughly read this novel.
To Embrace My Personality.

There is the fashion blogger, the gossip blogger, the food blogger, the travel blogger, the style blogger. The celebrity blogger, even maternity blogger. But what kind of blogger am I? I found myself thinking this the other day as I was flipping through a Glamour mag and there were several guest columnists from fashion bloggers. What would I have to offer a beauty or fashion magazine if I was to appear as a guest writer? What would I say if someone was to ask me "So what kind of blogger are you"? I honestly don't know what to say at all because I don't blog on one particular topic or category. I blog about whatever comes to my mind. So I am still racking my brain as to what kind of blogger I should describe myself to be.

Speaking of describing self, until recently I found myself trying to change certainly pieces of my personality and feeling frustrated when I caught myself acting the same way. I found myself waking up in the middle of the night praying and crying out to God because I just wanted to change the real me into something that wasn't me. I found myself feeling inwardly ashamed of the fact that I have post-traumatic stress disorder, and that I have to take medication to stabilize it. After praying, the next morning when I woke up I felt refreshed, and free. On my heart I felt the imprints of not caring about who couldn't accept my natural personality. The fact that I am funny, I love to laugh, I don't take life too seriously because I know we only live once. My feisty personality, my love of helping people, if something is bothering me or someone else I speak out about it. I no longer felt ashamed of my PTSD and I no longer feel that I am psychotic because I take medication. I feel great just being me.
I find myself wondering if there are any good men left in America. Not that I care because I told myself and God that I have decided to become a eunuch ( I know you and God laughed and thats fine) but me and a few homegirls were wondering the same thing. When you get to be up in your twenties, single, no kids, you can't help but wonder if there is some guy out there for you. Me and the young ladies I was talking with were talking about how when we first meet a guy, everything seems cool, then he turns out to be Mr. Wrong.

No woman should settle for any old average Joe that comes along with a smile and a bunch of promises. But when you're a Christian woman, you really have to hold tight and wait on the Lord. All men with all races can be dogs and no good, but my beef is with the black men helping the stereotype and not trying to kill it. Black men know good and well that they are a slew of stereotypes against them. So why are they not doing anything about it?

I love my black men but you'll have issues and you know you have issues but you do nothing about it. I'm sick and tired of seeing you standing on the corner doing nothing with your lives, panhandling for change, bumming for cigarettes looking like death is creeping up on you right around the corner. I am sick and tired of seeing you trying to snake your way into a woman's bed, telling her sob stories about how the white man keeps messing you over, and you're going through hard times, you just need a good woman to have your back. Well don't you think we're tired of holding your back up? Its bad enough we have to be double strong because we're double minority, but we have to be strong for you too? And when you say be strong, I assume you mean to take care of you financially until a job just falls out of the sky, right?

I'm sick and tired of you running around here spreading babies everywhere that you only see when you feel like it, or when you have nothing else to do. Ms.BabyMama ask you why you'll don't get married and you look at her like she has three heads. And you wonder why there is so much stereotype against you? Get a grip and get it together. Its sickening and I'm tired of seeing it. You want to know why people call you coons and why people of other races whisper the word "Nigger" when they see you? Because of the way you act. It starts with choices. Make the right choices and take accountability and responsibility for your own actions. Stop blaming the white man for you not having a job. Saying that makes you sound so dumb and stupid, plus that phrase went out in the '90s. Stop calling each other "niggas" and considering yourselves "goons" its so not cute. Being a thug is not cute to me at all, busting guns aren't cute and being in and out of jail is definitely not cute.

I can't stand hearing a black man address himself as a nigger. Don't you think you are much more than that?

I am all for someone voicing their opinion on political and religious views but people are becoming ignorant. Using religion to bash someone's lifestyle of sexuality has never been right to me. Being that I am an advocate of HUMAN rights, I don't condone any bashing whatsoever. Didn't Jesus Christ say "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye" (Matthew 7:5). So marching and doing rallies screaming about how homosexuals are demonic, spread diseases, and are bad influences, maybe you should look into your own life reflect. Half of you'll that are talking all this trash are having premarital sex, has had at least one std, and drink every night to the point where your liver is about to give out. Please stop with the shenanigans.
Stop pointing out religious views to bring your point across only for things that you don't approve. If you're going to bring religion into something, bring it into everything. You can't bash the gays and talk about how God doesn't like this, that, and the third but yet you and your boyfriend has done every freaky thing known to man. You can't bash and scream about how the gays will burn in hell when you smoke weed and make excuses talking about "Its a plant that God made". I'm still waiting on all of you pot heads to point that out to me in the bible, and I guess I'll be waiting until Jesus comes. Oh and lets talk about you alcoholics, the ones who justify drinking themselves into an early grave by talking about how Jesus turned water into wine.
Why does anyone care if the homosexuals marry one another or not? You're not paying for it nor do you have to wake up to them every morning. So why does it bother you? All of these religious hypocrites need to mind their own business and focus on living their lives right, not on the two homosexuals who are in love minding their own business. Am I a homosexual? No. I love men and frankly, I can't see myself dating someone that acts like me. I'm sorry. I need a big, strong, dark, caramel or chocolatey....Ok I'm off topic. But anyway I'm sure the gays are not mad at me because I love men and I'm happy to be straight. Why? Because its not their business and they don't care. I have lots of gay friends. I don't care if their gay because its none of my business and I definitely could care less who they sleep with.
I got invited to a gay wedding reception. Am I not going to go because Jesus Christ does not condone homosexuality? I am going to go, because they are both of my friends, we did a wonderful project together, who am I to judge them, I don't have a heaven or a hell to put them in, they are good people, and I am going to celebrate their union.
Don't question my Christian morals because of this blog post because frankly I am not for or against gay marriage. Its really none of my business who marries whom, gay or straight. I think some of these Christians are jealous because they have been sitting twiddling their thumbs, slobbering at the mouth for a husband or a wife. You ever heard of the phrase "A watched pot never boils"? Yeah. *Steps off Soapbox*

Did NOT Think I would make it

You'll have been following my blog and know the stress, distress, oppress, and depressing situation I was in. But thank almighty GOD I not only passed my classes but I have made Presidents list. I did not think I was going to make it. There were times when I just wanted to throw my books in the trash and walk out the door never to be seen again!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSS! Praise GOOOODDDDDDD! I don't know how I did it with all that was going on, or how I survived this semester with these good grades. But to God be the glory forever and ever!!! Not only that but I am so close to graduation it is not a game. Regardless, if I want to get two more degrees, it really does not matter I am so glad that I am almost done. I don't want to write about anything, I just want to praise GOD.

My Guilty Pleasures

Hood novels in general are my guilty pleasure but I stopped purchasing them, I think at age of 21. You've read one, you have definitely read them all except this particular read. The main character who's name is Red is so scandalous but I looove her. The haters do her so dirty, but she always has a comeback. This book that is shown above is actually the first of an addictive series.

I have horrible allergies, I always have and unless they find a cure, I always will. But this right here is my drug of choice to not just help keep my histamine down, but the effects of the allergy pill puts me in a sweet, peaceful sleep. Definitely my drug of choice...Just kidding..=)

I loovvvve this!!!! I don't drink at all at home. But I do admit to drinking socially and this is my drink of choice. It is sweet, sparkly, and it has a unique fruity flavor.

I know...I know...I have no business listening to the Queen Bee. But I have been a fan since I was twelve years old. I could never stop loving her.

If you grew up near the neighborhood corner store or had a food and ice cream truck coming around your way then you definitely know about these. I make it a habit to stop by and pick me up a box daily.

These are straight up addictive. Its like the sweetness from the sugar coating marinates with the sweetness that bursts in my mouth from chewing the gummy candy. Yum.

This song...It causes me to remininsce about my bad girl days. His harmonic voice pulls me in a trance as the instruments in the background floats music notes around me. *le sigh*

Why does wedding cake tastes so much better than any other cake? I love wedding cake. I don't know if its the overload of vanilla extract put in it or maybe the baker puts in some kind of flavored aphrodisiac because of the occasion. I dont know what is but I love wedding cake. I would never order a wedding cake or a wedding themed cake for myself, so I just stick with ordering a dozen wedding cupcakes. Yummy!
This book had me on the edge of my seat, biting my tongue trying to figure out what could happen next. It involves three young women who are actively involved in the same church. They each go to the first lady for Christian counseling involving risky and consequential decisions that have been made involving their passion for a particular man. This is a must read.

This novel focuses on the Book of Esther, particularly when Queen Vashti refuses to obey her husband when he summoned her. Jana, our main character, is a 24-year old new bride, married to a man 12 years her senior with a sexual appetite that has her questioning her Christian morals. Every Christian woman who is engaged her single should definitely read this book.

Compromising in Relationships for Your Mate's Wants

I was talking to a black woman on campus a couple of weeks ago. She is currently in a interracial relationship with an Asian male, she was in love, very happy, and content. Bonnie (Her name has been changed) told me that this was her first interracial relationship and then she proceeded to tell me that he gives her the best sex she's ever had. I didn't really care to hear about her sex life with her man. That was way too much information that should be kept in the bedroom, however my mouth dropped in stupefied shock when she told me they were in an open relationship. I know that there are a lot of couples out here, who like to um, add partners to their bedroom to spice up their life. But I was in shock because she casually told me that she allowed her man to have sex partners, because she had a low sex drive.
We all know that the christian lifestyle consist of celibacy, so of course I didn't agree with this kind of thing. I also didn't hide the look of disgust on my face as she told me this information. I didn't want to come off as judgmental but I had to ask her why didn't they just have a relationship that didn't involve sex. She proceeded to tell me that he has a very high sex drive, and that he does practice safe sex. That isn't the point. I asked her was she happy with this? She told me that sometimes she gets jealous but he does allow her to choose the women he's interested in and does interview them.
I kept it real with her and told her that I can tell she's not happy with this, I also told her that there is a man out there that will love and respect her. She told me she was happily in love and that she doesn't mind. Ladies, when will this stop? Compromising in relationships just to feel love from a man. Laying down your boundaries, self-respect and dignity just to feel a warm body next to you. This young lady did not practice the christian faith and she was more on the agnostic side. Agnostics tend to be very argumentative when it comes to religion, however I still try to tell them about Christ. Of course, 99% of the time they aren't trying to hear it, so I just put them on my prayer list.
It saddens me when young men and women continue to allow themselves to be used, abused and mistreated because the sex is so good. This is probably why God does not want us having premarital sex at all. Emotions get involved and no one is able to think with a clear head. Trust me. I know. No matter what people say, sex without marriage will only have you up confused, emotionally tangled and perhaps bitter. Celibacy isn't easy due to temptations swarming all around us but it beats having a broken heart, a cluttered mind, and feeling like pieces of you are being snatched away whenever that person treats you like dirt. Think about it.

Sick and Tired of Self Help Books Written for Women By Men

Steve Harvey has started an annoying, ugly, disturbing trend. Ever since he wrote his original novel "Walk Like a Lady, Think Like a Man" men everywhere feel the need to write self help books to us women about what we need to do to search for a man, keep a man, help a man, and how to make our men stay with us. What's really sickening is that there are poor, weak, heart broken women everywhere, who want a man so bad that they are actually buying these books in bulk. If men were so smart, wouldn't they write books to their fellow man on how to treat a lady? No. Why? Because they know some women are very curious about the male species' mind and will go through great lengths to find out why Terrence won't propose to her, although they have been living together for six years. Although the answer is sitting right in front of her face, she would rather spend 19.99 or more on a book to read what she wants to hear, instead of facing what she know is the truth. Terrence will not propose to you, because you are already living, screwing, and taking care of him so he's thinking what the heck does he need a ring and a piece of paper for, when he is comfortable just the way things are.

I have browsed Barnes & Nobles self improvement section and there are so many books for women by men on relationship advice that I literally laughed out loud. But this book by Ray-J and Max Billionaire or whatever his tired name is just took the cake. "Death of The Cheating Man:What Women Must Know About Men Who Stray" . I skimmed the book and immediately thought about slipping it into the garbage can. Basically, these two airheads are telling women that all men are going to cheat regardless, and that we should just accept it. See, this is the reason why there are bitter, angry, women walking around snapping on any man that approaches them. This is also the reason why there are so many women stuck in relationships with cheating, no good men. Some women are beginning to turn into mindless sheep just following what these men say and reading these books like they're the gospel.

It has even gotten sad on twitter. Lovesick women falling in love with tweets from self help authors who constantly write advice on how women feel. But here is my question. How the *beep* does a man know how women feel inwardly. Seriously, not to be funny but I don't know how it feels to be a man living in this world, so I'm not going to go around tweeting and writing up books on how to survive and live as a man living in America and beyond. Women, if you keep listening to these men and taking heed to what their books say, you will find yourself lonely and in debt.

Steve Harvey is dead wrong for that nintey day probation theory. First of all, how in the world are going to tell the world you are a Christian, but tell women to give it up after ninety days. Mind you, he didn't even confirm whether or not the relationship would be official. He just said withold benefits for ninety days. So basically, Steve is saying that after ninety days, instead of us being in an official relationship I would have a friend with benefits? Not only that, but giving it up after ninety days does not gaurantee that you will have a man or a friend. You may wind up looking like Joan Clayton, confused, bitter, angry, nervous, sad and depressed. Then you will be on to the next one.

Steve is about to have some women turn into ninety day whores. Every ninety days, a women sleeps with a new man. How sad. I think men are just writing these books because they know it is a good hustle. There are thousands of women are out here who are baffled as to why they can't keep or get a man, and are willing to go to the ends of the earth to find out. Including purchasing an overpriced book by some bozo who doesn't what a Gspot is let alone how to treat a woman. Can I kick it?

My Favorite Gospel Songs

I read this novel a few years back and I was quite disturbed by the horrible abuse inflicted not just all of the children, but especially on this child due to her dark skin tone. Me as an advocate against child abuse I was surprised that singled out abuse amongst siblings existed as far back.

This novel was one of the best novels I have read in a long time. Tells the story of four women who are the lover of their masters. Every summer they are taken to Ohio which is a free state to spend time with their "men" at a resort, specifically for masters to take their black mistresses. While two of the slavewomen hate what they have become, one of them acts as if she doesn't mind at all, and one is in love with her master. I couldn't help but ponder if she could be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

The Illuminati, My Take on the Paranormal

I used to watch videos on youtube that talked about how certain artists who's music is not that great, are able to obtain over ten grammys at a time. I would also watch the videos that would play popular music artists' music backwards, revealing hidden satanic messages in the songs. I used to laugh at the videos because I thought that they were being made by eccentric people who believed that the Mayans predicted that the world was ending in 2012. However, as I watched more videos, more things were starting to make sense.
As I listend to more interviews from celebrity artists, the illuminati theory began to make more sense. I'm not saying that there is a particular organization out there called the illuminati but I do believe that artists are selling their souls to satan for fame and fortune. Have you ever wondered how artists who couldnt sell a bottle of water to a man in the desert were able to sell a million copies of their album over night? Or people who just arrived in the music industry with the most horrible music, and were able to just keep selling millions and millions of albums?

Katy Perry said it herself in an interview that she sold her soul to the devil for fame. She was a christian contemporary artist who was not getting the popularity she wanted, so she sold her soul to the devil. Many music artists as well as actors, models, producers, people who used to struggle in the music industry are selling their souls for fame. Even artists who have been dropped from labels due to lack of album sales are bouncing back stronger than ever, out of the blue with record breaking songs.
My take? Its scary and sad. People want fame and money so bad that they would rather sell their souls to the devil and bask in the spotlight now, then to think about what happens life after death. Tomorrow isn't promised to not one soul that's walking on this earth, so they could easily die and go straight to hell at anytime. You can't take grammys, mansions, jewels, glitz and glamour with you in your casket. And the fans that shower all of these artists with attention is definitely not going with them when they die. I used to wonder to myself how does one sell their soul to the devil? I mean how can someone just pray to the devil? But I experienced the temptation and urge myself in the midst of my storms.
Everything was going wrong at once for so long and I felt like there was no way out at all whatsoever. My faith was almost gone, and I just felt like I couldn't take it anymore. I felt a lot of anger towards God and I really felt like he forgot about me because I was just in one bind after another after another and so on. I started thinking that if the devil was on my back because I was on God's team, and if everybody else who weren't Christians were winning because the devil never bothered them, then maybe I should go on his team for awhile just until this storm blows over. What a dumb theory. So happy I had people interceding for me in prayer. That would have made me a total sellout for Satan, which is totally not cool. Thank God He put me in my right mind before I went through with it.

Another thing I wanted to discuss was the paranormal. I've noticed that a lot of people are dipping and dabbing into paranormal activity which is a very dangerous thing. Its like daily that I run into young people in their late teens that are heavily into paraphenomena, voodoo, and the paranormal. Studying these subjects one of the ways portals in the spirit realm are able to open and take over. Please do yourself favor and just stay away from these things. Trust me. Its not cool, its not adventerous and it is definitely not the "In" thing to do. Watch these videos, and think.

With finals, and searching for a job to take up my whole summer so I can get my hustle on has been consuming my life. I am also in the midst of writing a novel that I plan to turn into a series. I get up at the crack of dawn and start my day, and at night I end my night by reading Psalm 91. But I must confess, I have been dodging bible study lately to avoid being questioned by the Pastor about things that are going on. I just don't feel like talking about it anymore, not until it is over and done with anyway. I feel like I have to drag myself to church, but I enjoy church, it enlightens me and makes me feel better.
I have been really busy so I haven't been able to blog as much either, but I haven't been feeling like blogging anyway. So you guys haven't really missed much. Oh! Before I forget. The Sexual Abuse Awareness Rally on Saturday went extremely well. They passed out bracelets and we all marched around Lafayette Park with our poster boards. People beeped their horns, cars slowed down and of course we had an ignorant counterprotester that got arrested for harassment. I spoke out against Sex Abuse Awareness and shared a bit of my story. A lot of women spoke up and spoke out, it was a beautiful thing. Tears even flowed. I had a good time, it really took my mind off of what was going on in my life. But I will definitely keep you all posted.

Lots of Love,
I think that this is by far the most ridiculous, immature, and disgusting thing I have ever heard of. I didn't even watch it because I have never been a fan of videos showing people getting stomped, robbed, beat up or tortured. There are a lot of sick people out here who get laughs and kicks out of watching videos of people get beat up, stomped and tortured. I'm not one of those people, I just don't see anything funny or cool about bodily harm being done to someone.

This girl thought she was a overnight, celebrity internet sensation until the cops knocked right on her door and arrested her for assault and battery. The same people that were laughing with her and giving her props are the same people that are laughing at her because she is sitting in a jail cell facing felony charges. Twitter is a social networking site where everyone can be anyone they put their mind to. I have almost two thousand followers and over half of them I have been following over three years and I have never ever seen a real photo of them. People say mean stuff to me all the time on twitter just because I type my opinion and my own thoughts. Does this mean I have the right to put on some timberlands and go stomp a chick because she tweeted that I was ugly? No. For all we know, these people could be eight hundred pounds with an oxygen tank sitting in a wheelchair. Like I said before, on twitter you can be anybody you want to be.

There are so many parody accounts of me on twitter, because I have made people so mad because I type my own opinion on there. They google me, my images pop up and they take my pictures and photoshop them on celebrities' bodies. LOL. It is so stupid. But the real question is this. Who has the time to take beef seriously into the real world from the internet. That twenty minute or half hour that girl spent beating up that young lady over typed words could have been spent doing something else. That's enough time to put something on eBay, auction it, and sell it. I'm just being real.

I know what you'll are thinking, so I am just going to nip it in the bud before anybody else start flapping their lips about it. Yeah, me and Jennifer Hudson got into it a little verbal match online, I said some unbecoming things to her just like she said some to me. Look, I asked her a simple question and she went off on me. I'm not saying how I reacted was right but no one is to be a fool and allow anyone to disrespect them. I am still a work in progress.

Ever since you have been promoting my blog and getting others to read it, my numbers have sky rocketed like never before. Being that you are a super local celebrity and you know everybody and everybody knows you this really helps a great deal. The fact that you take the time out to read my blog and you get other people to read it means a lot to me. Despite the fact that the only reason why you and other people read my blog so you can scan and scrape tidbits of information up to use against me, I still want to thank you.
I'm also very excited that you, a big celebrity in the state of Virginia, that is well known and well liked by everyone and anyone, is showering me with so much discreet attention. I feel special, loved and it feels so good to be liked by someone of great importance.
Maybe one day when this is all said and done we could perhaps do lunch. You can send one of your groupies who love to read my blogs and report back to you, to find out my schedule.

With lots of love,
There are more women than men in this world and there are going to be some women in this world that will never be married. I believe that I am one of them. It is not that I have lost hope in men or I think men are all bad (Though I think most of them are no good), it is just that I have never complemented a man in a relationship, ever. It always wind up as a big total mismatch and they relationship goes sour because we don't fit.
I have dated a variety of men and it never works out or they end up lying about another woman. Its always the same routine lie. They met another woman that they liked, she is more of his type, they just only see me as a friend. Am I bitter? No. I have finally accepted the fact that I am a very special woman, there is no man out here for me, and Jesus Christ wants me all to Himself. That is perfectly fine. I know what you're thinking. "What KIND of men have she been dating"? "Have she evaluated herself"? Yes. I have dated men of God and we just don't click at all, period. I don't want a worldly man because we all know they are liable to put me through the ringer.
Yes. I have evaluated myself. I have came up with the conclusion that I am a very special, peculiar human being. Being that I am a very special, peculiar human being I need to focus on God for the rest of my life and no one else. So with all of this being said I have some goals that I want to share. I do plan on adopting my first baby girl at the age of 30. In the meantime, I am going to adopt a puppy that I will raise myself. So I no I will not be lonely at all.
I know what you'll are thinking. Sex. I don't want it. Let's keep it real for a minute. Half of the male population don't know what they're doing in that department anyway, so I will be just fine. Celibacy is a part of my life right now anyway so that is a non factor. I just thought I would share my decision, so feel free to leave any comments.

Love you!!

The Erica Kane Syndrome

I never once said that I was a perfect person. I never once said that I have done anything that I don't regret. I mean I am only human and I pray everyday for God to use me and direct my path the right way. I have recently done some things out of anger that I do regret. I tried to get myself out of the situation my way, to only learn that it could only be done God's way. I tried to turn a blind eye from the situation, told myself that I would deal with it later but it only came back to hit me ten times harder.
Basically what I am saying is I learned a valuable lesson this month on taking responsibility and there is a right way to rebel. I protest, I write up open letters to people, I speak out and spread awareness because violence and attacks against innocent people and animals make me angry. However, I need to learn to control my anger when I am done wrong.
I am going to admit to having what I call the "Erica Kane" syndrome. The need to take revenge out on people who attack and do me dirty. That is a horrible way to be and I feel like the first step to change is admittance. I admit that I have a problem with taking revenge out on people that take the time out to do me wrong, especially when I have helped them in some way. It is a very dangerous way to be and it does bounce right back to you.
Taking things the Erica Kane way has literally turned my life into a real live soap opera. I found myself in a whirlwind of drama that everywhere I turned I just could not escape it. The lies, the blackmail, threats, trying to use what I call "My gift of gab' to manipulate myself out of situations. It was time to reflect and have a keep it real moment with myself.
If I hadn't got involved in the first place this wouldn't have never happend. If I would have just walked away and shrugged it off my shoulders, instead of getting a pissy attitude, then that wouldn't have happend. Yeah. Well should've, could've, would've the point is, it is time to make some changes.
Ladies it is so not worth it. Just walk away because at the end of the day your vengeance will bounce right back on you. Yes. You will feel good in the beginning, as if you made a valid point to let the person know, you are nothing nice to mess with. But at the end you will think "What have I done"?

When Christians justify Child Abuse

Since I started really campaigning against child abuse, I have gotten a lot of feedback and comments. Majority good and of course there is always the negativity that comes with it. Some people were stating that the laws are dramatic when it comes to abusing children. As if anti-child abuse advocates were trying to tell people how to raise their children. This is not the case at all, we are not trying to tell you how to raise your children. We are trying to tell you not to beat your children into a coma. Many people have told me that it is in the bible to spank children, so they must follow God's word.
"Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them." Psalms 13:24. This is in fact a true statement in the bible. You should follow everything that thus saith the Lord. I am not against spanking a child or reprimanding them by sternly telling them what they have done wrong and not to ever do it again. You are to discipline your children so that they will know right from wrong. However, there is a difference between popping your three year old on her hand for touching a hot stove when you told her not to, and punching and stomping her to the point of where she is unconscious.
Give me a break people. You know the difference between abuse and proper discipline. Lets not nit pick on this serious issue. You know exactly what the Lord meant in that particular scripture. Do you as a man or woman of God actually think that He meant it was ok to kick and stomp our poor children? Do you actually think He is saying it is ok to shake newborn babies and put them in microwaves because they are crying too loudly and you can't hear your favorite t.v show? Or maybe He condones you shaking your baby to death because he interrupted your facebook game of Farmville?
We as disciples of Christ must stop using the bible to justify our wrongdoings. I find myself doing it sometimes too so I am talking to myself as well. But to justify yourselves for severely abusing a child is too much. There was a case many years ago on a pastor that would tie up his church members and beat them brutally. Why? Misinterpreting the Psalm 13:24 scripture. Google it.
We need to take a stand against child abuse because it is really getting out of hand. If you don't know the difference between proper discipline and child abuse, please research this.
Spring is in the air, Easter is rushing upon us, lots of sunshine and rain. But April is not just about Easter eggs, bunnies, and warm sunny days, but this is also National Child Abuse Awareness Month. I have decided to put my advocacy against child abuse to use, by campaigning and bringing awareness.
In the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, child abuse has been at an extreme high. During the month of January, every week a child was being hospitalized or had died from being beaten severely. I have always considered myself an advocate against child abuse because I endured it as a child. I feel as though since I have experienced child abuse first hand, I need to be reaching out and helping those who are dealing with it. I also plan to put together a support group towards those who have dealt with and really don't how to cope.
Child abuse comes in many forms, not just physical. Verbal, sexual, physical, emotional, neglect towards a child under the age of eighteen are all forms of child abuse and can be detrimental. It effects a child's physical and mental health as well. So many people as well as myself, suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder because of the abuse that they endured as a child. Children are supposed to be blessings, that you care for and love on. They are not to be used as a punching bag or someone you take your anger out on because you have rough day at work.
Starting April 3, 2012 I will be hosting a Q/A Informative session on Child Abuse and Prevention. It will start at ten am and for a full hour I will be giving out information that everyone can use to fight this. I will be giving information on what to do if you suspect a child is being abused, as well as what signs to look for. I will also be answering any questions you may have on child abuse.
In the meantime here is a small directory on phone numbers and websites you can call, if you suspect abuse is being done to a child. We all are responsible for reporting child abuse!!!

I want to leave as soon as possible. I'm talking as soon as this semester here at my current school is over. I am dead serious. As soon as I take my final exam, I want to be able to step out of the technology building into someone's car with all of my bags in their trunk, and be on my way to the airport, to catch a flight out of the country. And yes, I may never ever come back to the United States of America again.
I love America. What has not been messed up, polluted, and damaged, America is beautiful. It has the most wonderful landscapes, different cities, people, accents, it is wonderful. But I don't like 90% of Americans. Sometimes I'm ashamed of the fact that I am American. Like since I've lived in America my whole life, I have seen some sick, strange, and disturbing things. But since 2011-2012, I have witnessed and heard some things that really makes me take a step back and just have a blank stare.
African Americans can't walk down the street without being shot due to assumptions. African Americans being put on death row despite of lack of evidence. Mothers being found not guilty of murdering their children despite the fact that the evidence is there. Infants being sexually abused weekly, infants being murdered daily, toddlers being beaten to a pulp monthly. I just think its time to live in the U.K just compare and contrast Americans and the English.
Now I was a military baby, so I lived in the U.K for about a year or two. I was very young so I don't remember much about England accept that I lived in Lakenheath, my daddy took me and sister to the West Indian festival and he took me to this EPIC baseball game. I do remember eating fish and chips all the time. If you don't know what fish and chips are, google it. But anyway, thats what I remember.
I claim today, that I will be moving to the U.K soon, if I have to apply for a job working as a court jester for the Queen of Wales (That doesn't like a bad idea). I am getting the heck out of here. Because first of all, the racism in this U.S is at an all time high and it is getting worse. It is at the point where the Klan could come out any day now riding on horses with hoods on. The approaching election season isn't making it any better because we have black folk in the white house, so Klan is going H.A.M.
I have my personal issues as to why I want to get out of the United States (let alone virginia) but I'm not going to worry your pretty little heads about that. It is time for me to pack my luggage (and I have a cute luggage set at that) and LEAVE.
Pray for me and I will pray for you.

Can I kick it? (Keep It Real)

So today I just want to kick it with my readers with some ranting and raving about some things that have been bothering me. Granted we are all thankful for what we have and we must count everything all joy. Situations may look bleak and you may find yourself in distress, but joy do comes in the morning. You understand what I mean. But I think everyone deserves to pour out their feelings of whats bothering them. Whether you write it down, blog it, vlog it, talk about it, sing about it, or joke about it. You don't have to hold that stuff in.
My rant and rave is about a particular job I applied for. I applied. The interview went great. A week later I'm standing in the elevator one of the interviewers tell me "Congrats you've been hired. Expect an email very soon." Another week goes by, and no email. Another person tells me congrats on the new hire several people have gotten their emails on what position they will be working. So now I'm like ok where is my email??? So I talk to one of the staff, who tells me they don't know whats going on its a slight delay. So I send an email to human resources, who sends me one back forwarding me an email that they sent me regarding the position.

First of all they sent it to the wrong email, that's number one because they misspelled my name. Then they talk about how they're so ecstatic to hire me for an ALTERNATE position and when one is finally open they will contact me.

Why in the world did you tell me congratulations I'm hired in the first place if there is not even a position available for me to start working? When you tell me somebody "Congratulations, you've been hired." They are going to be happy at the fact that they get to start working immediately!!! DUH!!

So now I have to go back to the drawing board all over again to look for employment!! Not that I ever stopped looking for a job. Its just that whenever I got a rejection email from a potential job I didnt let it get me down, because hey!! I got hired and I should start work any day now!! RIGHT?!!

But its all good. I count it all joy. I just wanted to vent.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://writingandliving4him.blogspot.com/2012/03/can-i-kick-it-keep-it-real.html' title='Can I kick it?
