Benefits of Team Building Activities

2013-09-19T05:37:00.001-07:00

Team building activities

In recent years, management theory has developed substantially. In years gone by, companies focused on building corporations that were competitive rather than team driven. However, in recent years the focus has shifted; from a more competitively focused organisation, to a team focused one. The emphasis has been placed on team building, with corporations spending millions on team building exercises. These team building exercises are designed to increase productivity, encourage creativity and improve company morale.

Improving Productivity

More often than none, team building exercises are designed to improve productivity. The aim is to encourage staff members to work more effectively as a team. When each individual can work more effectively as a team, statistics have shown that it improves general productivity. This enables the company to save time, and hit specified targets.

Increase Motivation

Team building exercises can drastically increase employee motivation in a number of ways. One of the number one reasons this happens is, an increase in confidence. When team members work hard to achieve a goal, and that goal is achieved, they become more confident in every aspect of the job. Employees also feel more motivated because the company is demonstrating that they are willing to invest in the success of staff members. Team members can also encourage each other to work harder, and hit targets.

Improves Problem Solving Ability

Team building exercises usually involve a problem that has to be solved as a team. These activities can teach specific problem solving skills which can be easily transferred to the workplace. Team members identify problems and obstacles, they then seek ways to remove those obstacles in order to solve the problem. They often work together to remove barriers in order for them to achieve a specific goal.

Encourages Creativity

Team building exercises encourage creativity within the workplace. These activities usually take the employee out of their comfort zone, taking them out of the workplace, providing them with a task to carry out that does not necessarily relate to their profession. This allows the employee to think of ways in which they can solve the problem creatively. This creativity can then be transferred to the workplace.

George Brown: Young Millionaire

George Brown

George Brown: Young Millionaire

Who is George Brown?

George Brown is a 20 year old multi-millionaire from the UK. He has made a huge name for himself in the Internet community by making millions as an online marketer. He has helped thousands of people to make a serious online income by learning his simple strategies. Most people are very sceptical about the whole affiliate marketing game because there are a lot of scams out there. Most of the packages on the Internet do not work, they are pretty just scams. However, after doing a series on affiliate marketing success for a client I discovered three genuine affiliate marketers who have provide genuine, easy advice. One of those was George Brown.

George Brown's Story

George Brown was originally a furniture delivery boy, he hated his job and was trying to learn ways to make money from home. He spent most of his wages trying to find the perfect system to start making money on the Internet. None of the systems worked so he decided to set up his own program to help people make money on the Internet. He tried and tested so many different ways and he ended up working out that the best way of making money with affiliate marketing was not by using aggressive SEO strategies or black methods. He realized that you could make money by building small sites centered around one specific keyword and you could build a large amount of traffic this way. Obviously when it comes to affiliate marketing, traffic equals money. Once he discovered he could make a lot of money this way he set about putting a program together called Google Sniper to help people make the same kind of money that he has been making.

George Brown: Is he Genuine or Fake?

After interviewing 20 people who have made money with affiliate marketing using George Brown's methods I realised that he was genuine. At first I just thought he was a fake but now I realize that he is in fact a genuine guy who has made a lot of money doing what he knows best. Most people think that these kind of stories are not possible because of the fact that they might have tried it themselves and not been very successful with it. Therefore, they assume that it is not possible to make money online. I also spoke to 10 people who have found it really difficult to make money on the Internet. Those people stated that it is not possible to make a serious income online. They had been trying for years and still had not made anything, so they were naturally unsure about any program that claims to help you make a lot of money on the Internet. I was one of those people, I have made a small amount of money with a couple of affiliate links I had on one of my sites. In a few months I did make $500. However, this is nothing to write home about. I then created a couple of sites using the one keyword, mini site method to test the theory. I have made one sale this morning, whereas before it took me months to see one sale.

This is why I believe that George Brown is a genuine online money maker. There are thousands of marketers out there though, who put a product together and claim that it can help you to make thousands but most of them are scams. I personally tested over 20 products in order to write genuine articles about them for clients and none of them really did anything but burn a whole in my pocket.

Final Thought

George Brown believes that you can start a small, one page site targeting one keyword and you can start to see profit from that site in a very short time. He also believes that the Dot com lifestyle is possible if you implement the right strategies and you stick to it. This is key, many people give up before they have even started. However, if you want to change your life and get something you have never got, you have to do something you never did. This is why, I think that most people fail at online marketing, they continue to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results. If you want different results you have to do something different, like George Brown did.

Can you Make Money with Google Sniper ?

2013-09-18T04:01:00.003-07:00

What is Google Sniper?

If you are a newbie when it comes to affiliate marketing you might not have heard of Google Sniper. If you do not know what Google Sniper is, here is an explanation. The program was set up by a young man from the UK called George Brown. He was only 17 years old when he set up the program. after being a furniture delivery boy and spending thousands on affiliate programs that did not work. He set up his own, he worked tirelessly researching the best methods of making money online as an affiliate marketer. Eventually he managed to come up with a system that worked for him. He began earning thousands every week, he then decided to put the program together and allow other people to purchase it. It is basically an e course, that explains in detail how you can learn to make a full time income from home. The question that most people ask is this, can you make money from Google Sniper? So let us answer that question.

Can you Really Make Money Using Google Sniper?

The answer to that question is, yes you can make money by implementing some of the strategies in this e course. However, you must bare in mind that this program is not a piece of software that can make it easy to make money overnight. It is an course that tells you the best way of making money from affiliate marketing. So what is the method? Most people who have become successful in affiliate marketing will know this method, but George teaches you step by step how to pick the right keywords, how to set up your site, and how to rank high on Google and make real money with affiliate links.

What is the Method?

The method is basically to set up various mini websites focusing on one keyword. The best keywords are specific products. Instead of opting for setting up a site with a broad range of keywords and phrases. George says that you can make money by setting up a series of small sites which are anything from 1 to 3 pages in length. With these sites you can rank high on Google and start to see some money coming in. It does sound easy right? The thing is, the reason why most people fail with affiliate marketing is because it takes too long, they want the money now or they do not have the patience to put everything into practice. They basically fall at the last hurdle and move on to something else. However, if you stick at it and put the strategies into practice you can make money from it. I am yet to make money because I was just asked to test the product a couple of weeks ago. I am not a an affiliate marketer, I was just approached to test it and see how it worked for me, so that I could give a real life testimonial of how it worked for me.

This is it.....

If you read through the whole product
Watch all the videos
Put all the strategies
Believe in yourself and do not quit

You will be able to make money with affiliate marketing. However, if you start and stop in a couple of days or weeks you will not make any money. So far my verdict on Google Sniper is, there is a possibility that it does work because I just set up a new site this afternoon as part of the test and within about two hours of setting it up, I did see over 50 views on the site and I had not even done any promo at all. Therefore, I think that this product does carry some weight, I just have to wait and see how it works out for me.

Peng Joon: Young Work From No Home Millionaire and Founder of Snobble

2013-09-17T05:15:00.000-07:00

Pen Joon: Young Work From No Home Millionaire and Founder of Smobble

Pen Joon

Pen Joon in his office

Pen Joon

Who is Pen Joon? Pen Joon is a young multi-millionaire from Malaysia. He is known for creating programs like Internet income Intensive and Work from No Home. Yes, it really is called Work from No Home, it is not a typo! The idea behind this program is that you can work from home in your night clothes or from the beach, or from your hotel room. He says all you need is an Internet connection and a laptop and you can start making money online from home. Penjoon is also the founder of one of the first and most successful Internet marketing training companies in Asia, Smobble.

What is Smobble?

Smobble is a company that prides itself on building a fun working environment for staff. It does not believe int he nine to five rat race, and the serious corporate way of running a company. It believes that staff should be happy, relaxed and enjoy what they are doing. The company is also known for launching huge gaming products such as Farmville and others. Penjoon is a massive gaming enthusiast and he also taken this love of gaming and made some serious bank from it.

Two Products he is Best known For

The two products that Penjoon is best known for are Work from No Home and Internet Income Intensive. Both are training courses on how you can give up the day job and really start making money from the Internet. Most people who try to make money online never really succeed and they end up going back to the day job. However, when you watch Penjoon making money online in real time with his proof videos you begin to think that it really is possible. Most of the training courses on the Internet that claim to help you make money online are just scams. They never really give you any real information to help you to quit your day job. However, after interviewing four people who I know personally who have made money using Pen Joon's methods, one is to believe that he knows what he is talking. Most training courses for affiliate marketing are actually aimed at the beginner. However, they can help people who have been trying to make money with affiliate marketing for years but have failed to do so. There are thousands of people who have been struggling to make money online as an affiliate marketer and with no success.

Why do people fail in Affiliate Marketing?

The reason why most people fail in affiliate marketing is:

They make vital mistakes
They try to do too many things at once instead of mastering one thing
They quit too quickly
They do not see millions overnight so they assume it does not work
They do not have the right strategy
They are not organised enough
They spend too much money on programs and not enough time putting the programs into acftion
They pick the wrong products to market
They have no idea how to market the products
They do not have enough time to put it into practice
They are too lazy
They want instant results

There are so many reasons why people fail with Internet marketing . However, one thing that Peng Joon talks about is gaining momentum. Once you gain that momentum you will continue to make money. I know this is true because in 2008 I set out to start making money from home as online writer. I began building my business and signing up other writers to help me build my business. At first I had a couple of really small clients and I was getting quite frustrated with it. However, after my first two clients I was getting two or three clients a week, the paychecks were getting higher and higher. I started to believe that this was really possible and I started to see a bright future ahead. I had a positive outlook and one day I looked in my online banking account to find a large sum of money from a client who had paid me up front for a massive batch of work. This is when I really started to get excited about my work from home dream. You see, if I did not continue and keep pushing forward and gain that momentum I would have stopped and thought that making money from home does not work. I would have thought it was a myth and just gone back to the rat race. However, I continued and kept pushing forward and doing what worked for me.

This is the Key

Do what works for you, once you find something that works for you, stick to it. Keep working hard and pushing forward and you will see that you can make some serious money working from home like Pen Joon did, like I did and like thousands of other people who have not given up on the dream.

Final Thought

Penjoon also states that you have to believe in yourself to make it happen. You have to keep working at it and keep pushing forward to see results. If you only make five dollars in your first week working from home, whether it be affiliate marketing, online writing or something else. This shows that it is real, you can make money working from home. You can change your life working from home. It is possible, and it is not just dream. It can be a reality because people like Penjoon with his Work from No Home system and other systems have proved this.

Can you Make Money with Google Sniper?

2012-09-05T09:10:00.000-07:00

I came across this program a while ago called Google Sniper. However, I am very sceptical about programs that claim to help you make money online. Most of them do not work, and most of them are just information that you can just find for free online. I was actually given a free product so I thought I might just check it out. To be honest so far the information contained in the manual is nothing that I do not already know. The product was put together by a guy called George Brown, who is a young guy from the UK who one day got so fed up of trying to make money online that he put this program together to help people make money on the Internet. It is basically another course, it is not a software as I initially thought it was, I am not going to tell you what it says inside because obviously that would be giving away the so called secret. However, I am going to say after reading the entire manual, I am not entirely convinced that this will make you thousands of dollars if you are not a newbie. I am going to stress this because if you are a newbie then this could help you to kickstart you affiliate marketing career.

Watch a video below of George Brown Himself: Quick Tips from an Internet Millionaire

However, if you are a someone who knows a little bit about affiliate marketing then this product is not really for you. How much Does the program cost? Well, you can pay an upfront $47 or, if you try and leave the page you can get it for $1. Basically the course will show you how to set up sites, and choose the right keywords and get those sites ranking pretty quickly. I am about to test the theory today in fact, I am pretty excited to find out if I make any money from it. I am not really an affiliate marketer as you guys know. I just use affiliate links to monetize a couple of my sites.

I do not promote affiliate products on a regular basis. Anyway, although I know most of this information I have not put all of the information contained in the course to the test before. So, today I am going to set up a brand new site targeting a specific keyword and see how it works out for me. I have set up sites in the past for affiliate links only but I have never really made any major money from it. I am waiting for the day when I see a huge bonus from Clickbank or any other affiliate site. So far, I have only ever seen any money from Amazon and a few hundred from Clickbank but nothing drastic. So, I am interested to see how much money I make using Google Sniper. I am going to finish off the book tonight and then start putting everything into practice. I will let you know how I am getting on with it, in the coming weeks and months. If you would like to try this out with me and see if it does work you can check out Google Sniper below in the link. You can get it for $1 and after that you have to pay the real price if you like it. If you do not like it you can just cancel it, it would be great to see other people jump on board with this and see how it works for them. Blogger from my tablet

2012-09-01T14:27:00.001-07:00

Okay, I have been having major issues with using the blogger for android app. However, I finally managed to get it working. I am testing it out and really like it. I have used it on the iPhone a few times however, I did not enjoy the experience. I am finding blogger for android to be seamless. It never freezes and it seems to be really easy to use. Now I can blog a lot easier on the mive without pulling out my laptop. Posting on the go is an enjoyable experience, and is excellent for news bloggers. I use wordpress for the majority of Intrigue Media's sites. For our online music mag, blogging on the go is perfect because we can document news and entermainment events in real time as they happen. No waiting around to find a place to plug in the laptop, we can get it done and be the first to get the story online.

This is just a test but I will be blogging a lot more using my android tablet on the move. Thanks for reading !

How to Start Making Money from Home Writing

Am I Still Making Money Writing on Hubpages

2012-08-06T08:45:00.002-07:00

A while back, I did a Hubpages challenge, which was 100 Hubs in 30 days. I did not actually complete the challenge because I found that my hubs were becoming very rushed and low quality. However, I gave my Hubbing a break for a while and was concentrating on client work only. Anyway, for some reason I decided to go back to it. Boy am I glad I did go back to it, because I have found that my income has skyrocketed since I went back to writing part time on Hubpages. I don't do it full time as I have a business to run, I use Hubpages as a sideline income. Something to do on the side to earn extra money. However, something you do on the side could quickly turn into a full time income for part time hours.

Let me tell you how much money I made on Hubpages in June 2012

When I stopped writing for Hubpages I did so because I was disheartened with the amount of work I was putting in for very little money. However, I realised I was not writing what I really enjoyed writing about. So, I switched from writing about any old random thing to writing about making money online as a writer and to writing food articles. Which I love doing, now my income has gone from a few dollars a month to over $500 a month. WOAH! This is from articles I have written and just sat there to fester for a while, so I am thinking if I write about 100 more articles on Hubpages I could really see my income triple to $1,500 a month passive income.

What is the Key to Working on Hubpages?
The key to earning and working on Hubpages is:

Planning
Time Management
Good content
Informative content
Remaining active within the Hubpages community
Commenting and talking to other hubbers
Helping new hubbers to get started out
Reference other hubs so, they will reference yours
Believe in yourself
Work hard
Have a positive state of mind

You see, this is the key to working and being successful in any business. You must work hard and network as much as you can. You must have good time management, planning and must believe that you can achieve your goals. Do not give up, because at some stage you will reach the tipping point, this means that you will reach a point where you start seeing results from the hard work that you have been putting in. When it comes to writing on Hubpages, you get what you put into it. If you are prepared to put in a lot of hard work and time then you will make good money.

So, the answer to the question, am I still making money on Hubpages? The answer is YES! I am making money on Hubpages and I plan to make much much more in the future. There is some serious money to be made on Hubpages just make sure that you are willing to put in the hard work. Eventually you could be making a full time income with part time hours.

The Perfect Home Office

2012-07-30T15:32:00.002-07:00

I work from home most of the time so I have been looking to set up the perfect home office. I started hunting around for everything from a new laptop, to desk chair, and desk. Even down to lamps and everything else that comes with a home office. When you work as a writer it is very important for you to have a nice, quite space that you can call your own to get your work done. I call my place of work, the place where all the magic happens. Anyway, here are some of the things I ended up getting for my new office, and I am very happy with it. If you are a writer, or you are just starting out working from home, I would strongly suggest that you set up a home office for yourself. Make it look really nice as well, you should be aiming to create a nice calming environment for yourself.

New Computer

Apple MacBook Pro MD101LL/A 13.3-inch Laptop

Okay the first thing I bought was a new laptop. I am normally a Windows, PC kind of girl. However, I decided to splash out a brand new Apple Mac laptop. I ended up going for the Apple MacBook Pro MD101LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop (NEWEST VERSION) I totally love this laptop, it is perfect for me because I love to go out and sit in a coffee shop and do my work sometimes. So, a desktop would not have been the best choice for me. Here is a list of some of the features on it:

2.9 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7 processor
8 GB DDR3 RAM; 750 GB Hard Drive
13.3 inch LED-backlit display, 1280-by-800 resolution
Intel HD Graphics 4000
Mac OS X v10.7 Lion, 7 Hour Battery Life

I take a lot of photographs for my work so 8 GB RAM is great for me. The display is perfectly clear, and the battery life is 7 hours. Although, I have found that it lasts a little bit longer. If you are going to be going out with your laptop, I would suggest that you purchase another battery. All in all the Apple MacBook Pro MD101LL/A 13.3-inch Laptop is perfect for the home office.

Printer

If you are working from home it is essential that you have a good printer. Especially if you print up your own books and newsletters. I have always used inkjet printers. This was the first laser printer I have ever purchased, I bought it after looking through a number of reviews and realising that this one actually ticked all the boxes for me. I ended up going for the

HP LaserJet Pro CP1525nw Color Printer (CE875A) I totally love it. So far I have printed five pictures and three newsletters and I have been very impressed with the speed and silence of this printer. Here are a list of some the great features on this printer.

Print from anywhere in the office with wireless. Share printing resources using built-in Ethernet.
Get excellent print quality automatically on text, images and graphics with HP EasyColor.
Print from anywhere, anytime, with HP ePrint.
Install and start printing quickly and easily.

You can buy this printer on Amazon for just over $200 and with super saver shipping and six month finance deals. The HP LaserJet Pro CP152nw Colour Printer is a steal.
Desk

Graphite Frosted Glass L-Shaped Computer Desk with CPU Caddy

A desk is highly important when you are putting together your home office. You are going to be sitting at your desk most of the time. So, it is good idea for you to pick the best one for you, it should fit in with your decor. It should have enough space to store all your paperwork, and it should be comfortable. If you are not comfortable you are not going to want to sit there for long periods of time doing your work. I went for this really modern table the Graphite & Frosted Glass L-Shaped Computer Desk with CPU Caddy I love this desk because it has enough space for everything. It doubles up as a computer table, although I have laptop I found it useful because sometimes I use a keyboard instead of my laptop keyboard. I also work with a mouse sometimes too which is great because it has a draw for a keyboard and mouse. It is made of frosted glass and is designed in a L shape fashion. Which looks stylish and it means that more than one person can sit at the table at a time. The glass is very tough, so you don't really need to worry about it breaking or anything.

I have also found that this desk is actually scratch proof which means it is protected with a tough coating to prevent scratches. You can purchase this on Amazon for just over $200, which is a steal because you also get super saver shipping with it.

Desk Chair

Boss High Back Executive Chair with Pillow top Pewter Finished Base and Arms

The desk chair is so important because it needs to be comfortable. If it is not comfortable it really will hinder your progress. Trust me, I have sat in an uncomfortable chair for months and it really did not get me anywhere at all. I would find myself shuffling around in the chair rather than doing my work. So, make sure you go for something that is comfortable. Like this Boss High Back Executive Chair with Pillow top Pewter Finished Base and Arms This chair is so comfortable because of it's high back and cushioned seat and back rest. It really makes you feel like you are the boss with this chair, and that is exactly how you should feel when you are running your own business. You should feel like a boss, and you should feel comfortable at the same time. This is perfect, for me it goes well with my graphite frosted glass L-shaped desk perfectly well with my new Apple MacBook Pro. You can buy this online from most good online furniture stores although I got mine from Amazon for $140, I got super saver shipping too so I didn't have to pay for delivery of my item. Tip, if you are buying from Amazon, buy everything together and you will get free shipping on everything. You might even get a discount for purchasing more than one product at once.

Lamps

Lite Source Batton Desk Lamp

The next thing I needed for my office was some lamps, if you want to add other personal touches like a vase or some other ornaments for your desk you can do so too! Give it that personal touch! When I was looking for some lamps for my desk I was looking for something that looked ultra simple and ultra modern at the same time. I don't really like things to look too complicated so I ended up choosing this Lite Source Baton Desk Lamp I love it. I fits in well with the modern decor in my office and it just looks great. Here are a list of the features:

Modern desk lamp offers sleek minimalist style
Polished steel finish
Baton-shaped shade adjusts at two points; weighted base
Energy-efficient 8-watt fluorescent light bulb included
Measures 14-1/2 inches long by 7 inches deep by 23 inches high

I bought mine online for just over $100, and it was well worth the money.

So, these are the items are bought for my home office! Why don't you upgrade your office and make your workspace more comfortable and stylish.

Good Luck !

Hi guys
If you work from home, and you have a lot of writers or clients around the world. You need to check this out, it is basically a video chat service much like Skype of MSN but it is slightly better in my opinion. You can use it for video conferencing without having to add any extra software. You can speak to anyone in the world free of charge, up to 12 people all through your Internet connection. Totally free of charge, I have been using it for a couple of months now to speak to clients in India, America, Australia and in France. I totally love it.

The only thing is, not many people have heard of it so, you kind of have to tell your clients or your writers to download it. It is totally worth it though, you can use it on a PC or a Mac and it literally takes no time at all to sign up and set it up. I have been using Skype for a while now but I personally find this service to be a whole lot better than Skype. I was kind of stuck to my Skype for a while but now I am loving my new best friend ooVoo.

If you want to sign up you can click on the banner below and get started!

Oh, I forgot to mention that you can use it on your mobile, your tablet, on the web and on your desktop. You can also integrate this app with Facebook too. So, it is pretty cool well I like it anyway, and I hope you do too. Check it out.

Good luck

Okay, so I have touched upon this so many times now, I have been met with opposition about it. I have also met people who have managed to achieve this goal. I am always asking this question, is it possible to become a content writing millionaire. My answer to that question is a confident, and full of self belief YES!

I had to put it in red because I mean it! Well, I have been writing for 10 years now. I have done a lot freelance writing for newspapers, magazines, online content ( I am still doing all of these) I am no embarking on a bigger journey, I am creating well not just me, my company Intrigue Media. We are creating a whole barrage of websites with informative, well written content. I am so excited about this and I know it is only going to create an even bigger income stream for me and the company as a whole. Anyway, I am kind of back tracking here. The topic of this post is, "Become a content writing millionaire." You can do it! Everyone can do it, when I say become a content writing millionaire. I am not just talking about writing for content farms and writing for revenue share websites. I am actually talking about creating your own content based empire, something like Demand Media or Hello Beautiful. You don't have to be an expert, you don't have to have a degree in English from a top university. You just have to have the self belief that is necessary to achieve your goals. Here are a few ideas....check them out!

Create Your Own Killer Sites
You can go down the route of creating your own killer sites and monetizing them with affiliate marketing links. Create your own ebook and sell it on your site. Advertising, selling your services and advertising. If you learn how to create your own killer sites, with killer content and you promote it properly. It is totally possible to become a content writing millionaire. You probably think, okay she is making it sound really simple! Well, it is not simple and I will never say it is simple. Because nothing is ever going to be simple where a million dollars is concerned. However, although it is not simple, it is possible. If you want to find out about making some serious money writing online by creating your own sites. Head on over to the Keyword Academy . Here you can learn how to make a killer income creating niche websites. Creating golden content and promoting them in the right way for maximum results. There is serious, serious money to be made!

Writing for Revenue Share Sites
Writing for revenue share sites, you might not become a millionaire from writing for these sites alone. However, you can use them to promote your own sites and services. At the same time you will be earning money from the advertising revenues. Take a look at a few of my articles on Hubpages, I have only just got back on there, and to be honest I love it. Out of all the revenue share sites I have worked on, this is by far the best. I have earned the most on here, some people might beg to differ. However, I believe that you can make a serious income on here if you put your mind to it. The key to making money on Hubpages is:

WRITE CLEAR CONCISE ARTICLES
MAKE ARTICLES 400 WORDS OR MORE
KEYWORD RICH AND WELL WRITTEN
FIND OUT WHAT PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW BY LOOKING ON YAHOO ANSWERS, AMAZON AND READING THE HUBPAGES QUESTIONS
INTERACT WITH EVERYONE ON THERE
READ OTHER ARTICLES AND COMMENT
FOLLOW OTHER USERS
PROMOTE YOUR ARTICLES ON FB AND TWITTER
PROMOTE YOUR ARTICLES ON FORUMS
PLACE YOUR LINKS IN YOUR SIGNATURES
EMBED YOUR LINKS IN YOUR OTHER ARTICLES
ARTICLE MARKETING
VIDEO MARKETING
BLOG COMMENTING

If you want to generate an income from revenue share websites check out these sites too.

There are loads more, my next piece is going to be an extensive list of revenue share websites. Stay tuned for that!

It's All About the Hard Work!

2012-03-18T06:42:00.000-07:00

I had a conversation with a friend of mine yesterday and she said to me, "things seem to be going really well with your business, how do you do it? What is the secret? I replied "There is no real secret, well the only thing I can say is you have to work really hard to achieve your goals" There is no substitute for it, you have to work crazy hard, and sometimes lose sleep! It really is that simple, like for example, last night I was up all night, I had a bit too much to drink too and this morning I feel kind of rough. I feel like I would rather curl up and sleep, with the duvet over my head. I don't feel like seeing any kind of light whatsoever, but you know I am here in the library working. My friend told me I am crazy, I told her that this is what separates winners from losers! Hard work, and dedication. No matter what, you are always working, while someone else is doing something else. You are working, if you keep working and you keep pushing and you keep doing something that will get you closer to your goal every day. No doubt you will get there, so the bottom line is this, you have to keep working.

If you want to be a successful writer, and make money from writing online or offline, you have to keep up the hard work. Sometimes you do have to drink a gallon of coffee whilst doing it, I actually hate coffee but sometimes I kind of have to drink it. Sometimes I have to hold my nose and drink drink drink, even if I don't feel like it. Why? Because, hard work pays off once again. Gosh I am crazy tired! I am going to keep pushing though, I know so many successful writers and they tell me the same thing that they have never worked so hard in their lives. There is no substitute for hard work, you just have to get on with it, attack it! Things you may be afraid of doing, just get on with it. Even, if it is outside your comfort zone. Just make it work! Right, I have so much work to do some I am going to get on with it.

Keep the faith and keep working hard. Oh, and before I forget, for daily inspiration go here: Big Somnium This is another one of my company Intrigue Media Group's sites.

Writing Through Depression

2012-03-06T00:25:00.000-08:00

Hello

I have been away for while, well technically I have still been here but I have been so busy with a lot of things. For example, my book is now out and so I have a lot to do at the moment. I am also working on several other blogs and websites as part of my company, Intrigue Media Group. So, as you can imagine I have a lot of things on at the moment. Anyway, the purpose of this post is to talk about writing through depression. I wanted to talk about it because I have been experiencing depression in some form for the past few years. It kind of went away, well it never really goes away but it calmed down for a while. It came back a few months ago, it was triggered by a family problem. Anyway I am not going to get into the family problem, but I have a had a lot going on, the darkness came back.

Anyway, one thing I have learnt over the years is, one of the best ways of alleviating the symptoms of depression is to talk about or, to write about it. Write about how I feel, it is almost cathartic, if you know what I mean. I have found that it gives me peace, also creating a routine for myself, gives me focus. Reminds me every day to stay on track and just get on with it. Being depressed is far from easy, but once you establish a routine for yourself and create ways of improving your mood on a daily basis, you will find that things do get better. Right now, even though things are kind of hard with all the issues that are going on, I have found that writing has helped me to get through the dark days. I watched this film called Gifted Hands a while ago, and the mother in the film was severely depressed. She called it a darkness that she could not control, I can understand this, because sometimes I feel the same way. Sometimes I wake up and I can feel that I am in a dark mood. I so tired, and so low that I just can't get out of bed. I have to drag myself out of bed sometimes, force myself to get up. It can be hard but you know, once I get out of bed, do my workout, get my son ready and get myself ready. I feel better, I usually do some writing when my son goes to bed for the afternoon, once I pick up a pen or turn on my laptop I feel an instant relief. I feel better, happier, stronger.

I have spoken to a couple of people who have suffered the same thing, I told them to write. Even if you don't make your living from writing you can still write. Write, write, write and write, trust me you will feel better for it. Write until you feel like you can't write anymore, write until you feel like you have emptied your mind of all the thoughts that you had stored in there. Just write and write, I have been writing since I could pick up a pen, and to be honest I think it has been my remedy for most of my life. I have only been making a living from writing for the past four years but it has always been my calling. It has always been something that I was born to do.

Okay, so now I have managed to get back to writing this blog, I am going to be doing it a lot more from now on. Please add me on Twitter @writingthedream and take a look at my book website http://www.edinajackson.co.uk. I have so many things going on right now including new websites and online magazines for my company, more book promo and more books coming out this year and next year. So, it is safe to say I have a lot to do to keep me busy.

Happy writing people, and keep your dreams alive. Never give up. Oh, and for daily inspiration go to one of Intrigue Media Groups http://www.big-somnium.com

Hey I am back!

2012-01-09T07:40:00.000-08:00

Hey guys! Miss Intrigue is back again and in full effect! LOL. I didn't run away, I have just been so busy with my book and the other sites which are part of Intrigue Media Group that I have had no time to post constantly on here. The main reason I am posting up here today is I have started a new journey in my life and I am not looking back. I know it has nothing to do with writing really, but I thought I would share this with my readers because in a way it is very important to my writing career. If I don't do this, I will never reach my full potential in life and I have to reach my full potential.

So, I am now on a raw food diet, it sounds strange to you right? Well, I decided to go on this journey because for a long time I have had a problem with my weight and my body image. I used to hide it from people but I have decided to come out of the wordwork and admit that I have a problem. So, I have decided to go cold turkey and go totally raw vegan. Meaning I will not be eating any animal products at all, and all the food I will be eating will be raw. I will also be drinking plenty of water and making sure that I do not eat anything preserved or artificial. That is it! I have started a blog as well and it will outline everything about my day to day diet. I can't wait to share it with everyone so please do follow that blog as well! Thanks guys.

Here is the link to the blog http://www.writingtheraw.blogspot.com and before I forget, anyone who has children and would like to purchase a copy of my book go here http://www.edinajackson.co.uk

My Book is Out in August! Get your Advanced Copies

2011-05-16T00:25:00.000-07:00

Hey guys,

It really has been a while right? Well, I did not fall off the face of the Earth, I have been really busy with my copywriting business and I have also been getting things sorted for my children's book which is coming out in August. My publishing company Bright Sparks Publishing has been hard at work putting the book together. Now, the company is taking advanced copy orders for me on my website, so if anyone wants a copy then you can order it from my website and you will get a signed copy.

Here is the website address http://www.edinajackson.co.uk/

In case you would like to know what the book is about, well it is the first in the series of positive thinking books for children. This first one is Dusty the Ditsy Dog, paints the town blue. The book is about remaining optimistic in all areas of life. This is for children under the age of five and is great for a bed time story or to read to children in schools and nurseries.

I am very excited about this book because I wrote it for my son. I actually wrote it one night when I had just had my son and I was bored out of my head. I came up with this concept and I think it could be a major hit. My publishing company thinks it could be a major hit too.

Please do support me and order your advanced copy and get everyone else to order an advanced copy too!

Thanks

Making a million by the end of 2011

2011-04-03T09:34:00.000-07:00

Right, hello people! How things going? How is the writing? I am loving my life right now, everything is going so well with my writing. One of my major challenges for this year, is to make a million by the end of the year. I am working so hard, some nights I don't even sleep. I am writing, writing and writing every single day, I know a change is going to come. I have made a good amount of money from my writing career, however there is so much more money to be made. 2011 is my year, and everything I have planned for this year I am going to achieve it. I have had a lot of negative feedback from people on some revenue share sites, about making money with writing. Some people have been saying that it is impossible for me to make a million in a year with writing. Some people are saying it is not possible for me to get where I want to get to. I am never going to let anyone who does not believe in the power of self belief to get me down. I am going to continue to work hard and strive to achieve my goals. I know it is not easy, I know it is going to be a long hard road, but at the end of the day if you believe in it and you are willing to work really hard for it you will get it.

I am going to continue to believe in my own power and I know I am going to be a major success when it comes to my writing. So, here goes, my next challenge for the year is going to be 50 blog posts this month.

So how hard do you have to work to make a million? I know that I am going to have to work harder than I have ever worked in my life. I know I probably won't get any sleep but you know what I really don't care. Because at the end of the day, once I achieve what I need to achieve I will look back and be glad that I worked really hard to achieve my goals.

So, readers keep the faith and never give up, even when people tell you that you cannot achieve your goal keep on fighting and keep on pushing. Nothing is going to stand in my way, no matter what I am going to get there.

So, wish me luck and I wish you luck! If anyone wishes to join me please do comment me here and we can team up and make this money!
