This year Wussey can reveal that the show will be hosted by Gabi Roslin and judged by Graham Norton, Sheridan Smith, and Justin Lee Collins!

Special guest appearance by Toby Anstis and even a performance by The Original Bucks Fizz!

So it is OFFICIALLY OFFICIAL - the new Same Difference album is POP AT ITS BEST.

Seriously - IT IS!

These 2 need more credit than they are getting - and more mainstream promotions for sure.

Having a duet with one of my all-time favourite acts ALCAZAR is totally amazing - they are living legends as far as pop music goes.

The Rest Is History stomps all over their debut album POP - and I liked that!

The chorus of the title track is reminiscent of vocals by The Veronicas (if this song lost the pop beat and added more guitars) but it doesn't need to do that - pop music is perfect the way it is - but that's just proof that this duo are a lot edgier than you might think.

Waiting For The Moment is the clear winner as far as best songs go. It wreaks of a cool dance vibe similar to that of Swedish DJ StoneBridge - check out his track "Give A Little"

Souled Out is a corker of a song and brings back the songwriting duo of Topham & Twigg - behind a lot of the Steps singles.

Alcazar feature on the track Karma Karma and takes a gay like me to paradise land....you can't help but dance around your apartment on your own with the bass turned up to the max! Party for 1 over here!

Sean and Sarah rarely slow things down.....only taking a breather for This Is Me - a song about not giving up on who you are and self-belief. The debut single from The Rest Is History also features on the tracklist Shine On Forever (Photo Frame) along with more songs written by Same Difference themselves; Superstar, Heartbeat and Broken Memories.

The fact that Same Difference are not simply churning out pop songs by other writers, but are actually making the music themselves and doing it so well that it is consistent with long-standing writers, shows that this act know their business and know how to keep the respect of their growing fanbase.

Same Difference have come under some hard times since X-Factor.....stupid comments about how cheesy they are and even the most ridiculous remarks on being incestuous as they are a brother and sister singing love songs! If people haven't noticed.....Take That are a 4/5-piece (depending on whether Robbie stays or not) who also sing love songs and I think you will find that they don't all go home together and share a bed!

In fact, the fact that Sean and Sarah are so close to each other to spend so much time working together day in and day out, encompasses the very thing that family is all about - being there for each other throughout everything.

So for anyone out there who simply saw a cheesy pop act bopping about on X-Factor - take another look and realise that Same Difference are actually bringing us what is missing in the music world right now - I can't think of one other act that is doing what Same Difference do right now. Pop music was at its height in the 90's and faded out to make way for comebacks and reunion tours where bands lost their original vibe in favour of sound-a-like band music. Take That are now a band - not a pop act. Girls Aloud haven't released anything since Untouchable, and the Sugababes change musical style every album - as they also do with their line-up!

For music that is listenable again and again, check out The Rest Is History. I have had this album for a few weeks now and deliberately delayed writing an instant review that just raved about certain tracks based on a first impression. To really appreciate music and for it to stand the test of time - you have to be able to come back to it again and again, find new lyrics that you connect with, change your mood, or just help you unwind.

The Rest Is History has been on repeat on my iPod since I got it and I appreciate it more and more every day.

Don't turn your nose up at pop music - if you don't like it - fair enough - but give it a chance.

I listen to all types of music, but whether I have a favourite genre or not does not stand in the way of me appreciating all the hard work that goes into creating each and every song out there and the reasoning behind it.

Blue To Reform For Eurovision 2011!

British Boyband Blue will reform to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Dusseldorf. They will perform a new song and as such, there will be no national selection show for the country this year. It is the first time since Frances Ruffelle represented the country in 1994 that the public has not chosen the artist to represent Britain. [update] The BBC Confirmed the news at 23:20pm local time tonight

Blue consists of Simon Webbe, Antony Costa, Duncan James and Lee Ryan. Having already announced plans to record new material in 2009 and after a successful performance at Capital FM’s Summertime ball and Silverstone Classic Festival in 2009 Blue will be coming back with a brand new song.

Blue was formed in 2001 and up until 2005 they had a hugely successful career selling over 13 million albums across Europe. They have had three UK number one studio albums and have sold 10x platinum in the UK and 4x platinum in Europe. They have also had 3 Uk number 1 singles and a further 8 top 10 hits. The band has sung duets with artists such as Elton John, Stevie Wonder and Kool & the Gang.

This is not the first time the boys have been linked to the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2006 Anthony Costa tried his luck at representing his native UK by entering ‘Eurovision: Making your mind up’. His song ‘It’s a beautiful thing’ was beaten into 2nd place with 96 points after Daz Sampson’s ‘Teenage life’ managed to win the majority of the UK vote. Duncan James has also played a part in recent British Eurovision histroy. In 2009 he was a regular panelist/judge on ‘Eurovision: Your country needs you’ where Jade Ewen won and presented the UK with its best result (5th place) since Jessica Garlick’s 3rd place in 2002. He also announced the UK’s votes in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 final.

"Rachel Tucker keeps tweeting about some Wicked news and basically, it is that her and Louise are having a 3 week break in their contracts towards september/october time and for these 3 weeks they are going to be bringing the 'famous' elphies to celebrate the 5th year in London.

I just watched Barbershopera: Apocalypse No!

Can I watch it on DVD?

Erm.......I'm pretty sure you can't unless you went in and filmed it. But you can see it LIVE on stage in Studio 2 at the Trafalgar Studios, London, until February 5th 2011.

On which square of my kitten calendar did you see it?

The square that says Thursday 20th January 2011 - and if you have a kitten calendar with a time section too then you can circle the 2.45pm square!

Were there any celebrities spoiling it?

Thankfully no! I am pretty sure if a celebrity was put into this show they would almost certainly not be able to pull it off as good as these guys (and girl) - the cast need to be pitch perfect and I really mean PITCH PERFECT as the entire show is acapella! The show is performed by Rob Castell, Tom Sadler, Pete Sorel-Cameron, and finally Lara Stubbs.

Was there a cover of Bad Romance in the song selection?

No Lady GaGa in this show I'm afraid, but there is a vast array of quirky, witty, and catchy songs to fill the show with humour. The lyrical content of all the songs are incredibly clever and quick without being too quick to glide over the audiences heads.

How about the snooze factor?

Absolutely no snooze factor! The show actually not only keeps you awake with its humour and harmonies, but draws you in wishing for more and more - I did not want this show to end!

Was the set sponsored by First Family Productions?

Barbershopera doesn't have a big budget production like a major musical would have, it is in fact at home at a perfect studio theatre suitable for this style of show - you don't miss a single detail. The set is rather non existent in the sense of backdrops etc - but is actually provided by the cast themselves and their costume changes. The lighting state changes appropriately and 4 boxes provide the storage for costumes and props, as well as a good way of changing levels and dynamics.

Did they provide their own costumes like when I was in my High School production?

Yes they did - in fact one of my favourite things about this show was the home-made costumes that are designed to look as if they were made by children in a Primary School. The show starts and ends within a school and so the fact that this theme carries on throughout the production works incredibly well and leaves hilarious results. My favourite costume being the aligator!

The theatre catches on fire and we watch it in the street.......is it still as good?

Absolutely! This is a show that relies entirely on the talent of the performers, the songs, and the story.

All of this is held together by the director, Sarah Tipple, who has seamlessly combined the fast paced character changes and scenes so that all of the hard work has been done for you. Not once did I have to sit and think "who am I watching now......where am I?"

The transitions were flawless and so quick that they added to the fun-factor!

Choreography is carried throughout the piece, combined with the songs, and does a brilliant job in keeping the audience interested, entertained, and informed as to where they are and who they are watching. Again all thanks to Sarah Tipple for great staging - performing for an audience in the round is tough!

Lyric and musics come from award-winning writing duo Castell & Sadler. Considering you have never heard any of these songs before, they are instantly catchy and most of all incredibly funny. Expect references to Richard Whitely, men on horses and everyones favourite topic - poo being flushed down the loo!

The vocal talents of these gifted performers shines through and through - every song is a 4-piece harmony (hence they are a Barbershop quartet!) and yet within this they are still able to switch characters and continue the story of the scene.

Tom Sadler continously reminding me of a slimmer Eric Stonestreet.

Not unless someone has filmed this monstrosity and put it on YouTube! Its on at the Foxwoods Theatre, Broadway.

When did you play the role of spectator?

Wednesday 5th January 2011 - MATINEE

Did the cast suck?

NOPE - Matt Thomas from Italia Conti was on as the alternate Peter Parker/Spiderman and did a cracking job. Plus Mary Jane is played by Tony nominated Jennifer Damiano (original Natalie from Next To Normal) = I LOVE HER!!!!!! The 4 young kids in the show that work as narrators SUCK MAJORLY but blame the script not the actors.

Were the songs amazing?

AMAZINGLY BAD! Seriously Bono and The Edge have proven without any shadow of doubt that they cannot write anything decent for a musical and in fact are terrible lyricists too. Seriously the songs were beyond a joke - if you can call them songs.

Did you fall asleep?

I drifted away a little during the Mary Jane song in Act 2 - and anytime Arachne made an appearance and sung it was definitely time for a snoozefest.

Was the set good or made by a Blue Peter presenter?

WICKED SET! The show has had all its dosh put into the set - and it shows - everything is massive and the theming with the comic book style is awesome - one of the best reasons to see this show is the set!

Any good ideas for my next fancy dress party?

LOTS AND LOTS! The costumes are incredible - fancy playing a mad scientist who transforms into an inflatable dinosaur? Or how about a baddie covered in bees? HA HA the costumes are equally as good as the set - they are big and over the top and again look very expensive!

If I watched them rehearse in a studio would I be impressed?

Not one bit! The script and songs are the complete opposite to the excellence of the stunts and production elements of this farce of a show. If you watched them rehearse without all of the production you would realise just how bad the plot (or lack of in Act 2) and the terrible tuneless songs are.

The opening scene with the 4 kids talking about Spiderman looked as if they were improvising - lines overlapped each other and the dialogue was neither funny nor necessary - scrap these kids parts! They are clearly just in it to allow time for a scene change - plus they get tortured by the fact that they have to sit and watch the show every night! Pure punishment!

This show is not a musical - it is a spectacle - and when it is amazing it really is spine-tingling good. The flying and stunts blew me away - Spiderman lands in the audience and then takes off again making it so interactive. Seeing Spiderman on top of the Green Goblin whilst flying around the massive auditorium is incredible. In fact, any time there is a stunt in this show it is nothing you will have seen anywhere else - yes it is that good!

But then after all the amazing stunts and costumes and special effects will come the most awful song or scene. Arachne will sing as if she is playing Galadriel in the Lord Of The Rings Musical - not fitting in with the style of the show at all! Plus what teenage boy will want to watch action packed Spidey zooming around shooting his web, followed by a folk song sung by a woman whose character is hanging herself? It just doesn't make sense as to who watched this and said "YES!!!! THAT'S IT!!!! THAT'S THE PERFECT SONG FOR MY SHOW!!!!"

I was gobsmacked as to how bad the dialogue and storyline was - I can't even tell you the story of act 2!

Act 1 is the same as the first Spiderman film where Green Goblin gets defeated - good good. Then Act 2 carries on with a beauty pageant of evil baddies to see which baddie is the best and then it turns out they were all the imagination of Arachne and she is love with Spidey but gives up cos he loves Mary Jane? Who the heck knows what the story is about cos I don't think they even know themselves!

The more the show carries on, the less the spectacle - flying becomes more infrequent and the ending is one of the biggest let-downs of all - where is the action?

3 out of 6 - Go see this for the half that is good (the stunts) then consider becoming a songwriter for the next record-breaking musical as anyone could write better than this tripe - and the audience would be grateful for your efforts!

"Wicked London and Wicked Broadway are set to do the first ever 'cast swap'. Kerry Ellis went to Broadway before, but this will be bigger than ever, with ALL principles swapping roles for a 2 week celebration both sides of the Atlantic this summer.

Rachel Tucker and Louise Dearman will tread the boards at the Gershswin, while Teal Wicks and Katie Rose Clarke will tread the Apollo Victoria's!

All principles in both shows will swap - Elphaba, Glinda, Fiyero, Madame Morrible, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Boq, Nessarose, Doctor Dillamond and Chistery."
