Fantastic set of ww1 brown leather ammunition pouches, both are 1916 marked however from a different maker. Virtually a 100% matching pair, very rare in those conditions without foreign armies stamps. SOLD

Beautiful portait of a German Afrika Korps soldier postcard size, no maker stamp on the back. 100% original. SOLD

Nice used DAK / tropical rucksack dated 1942, Ernst Gerlach. Afrikakorps Version fully in webbing. Belonged to Leutnant Pörschmann. SOLD

Just found on a flea market this pictures Konvolut of the same Luftwaffe soldier. A total of 37 pictures (2 postcard format and the other small format) taken in Germany and Italy thorough the war ( Capri, Rom, Naples...). Many pictures take on the Vesuvius, the Flak unit was stationed directly on the sides of the volcano. SOLD

I'm offering a nice Wehrmacht field telephone mod.33 in bakelit, the phone itself is dated 1941, the receiver is dated 1943, complete with the little crank. Very nice conditions, untouched, has been in my collection for the last 20 years. It was found near Nice (France) in a barn. SOLD

For sale a "out of the woodwork" pair of Wehrmacht cavalry boots in black leather, those are nicely stamped and RBNr.ed. Size is approx. a 42, some nails are missing, would need to be cleaned up and greased, although the leather is still very nice and soft. Nice 100% original item, comes from a flea market find in Liége, Belgium. SOLD

Next one is a rare item in those conditions, a wonderful addition to your Luftwaffe display. It's a 2 cm Flak ammunition box (Vorrat I - Waffe, 16 Kg) with yellow / tan painting, nicely stamped dpd and 1944. Another ink stamp inside. The wood is nearly perfect, nothing to complain about. This one was found in 2005 on a German flea market. SOLD

A very difficult to find pair of Wehrmacht ankle boots produced by the swiss shoemaker Rieker for the account of the Wehrmacht. They are stamped "0" which could be the production year (1940), size is approx. 41-42, some nails are missing, they come with their original leather laces. Original pair of hard to find boots! SOLD

Nice Luftwaffe tropical / DAK enlisted men shirt made in occupied countries (Holland or Czech Republic), worn and shortened, for sure has been there! Nicely stamped Schöniger, collar size 39 cm. SOLD

For sale a beautiful Wehrmacht wounded badge (3rd class, black). Black paint remaining at 100%, with EH and 126 maker code. Mint and nearly impossible to upgrade. SOLD

For sale a fantastic 25-Year Faithful Service Cross “Für treue Dienste” has a silvered finish and it is a Maltese-style Cross. The enamel is perfect to the swastika, the silvering too. The cross comes with its blue ribbed ribbon. The original brass pin is still on the back of this Faithful Service Cross. SOLD

For sale a Kriegsverdienstmedaille (War Merit Medal), instituted on 19th August 1940, to reward those civilians who were helping in the German war effort. This award consists of a circular medal with the obverse depicting the image of the War Merit Cross without swords and on the reverse the text: “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939”. The War Merit Medal comes with its black, white and red ribbon. SOLD

For sale a rare ribbon bar for the commemorative bar of the Prager Burg (Prague Castle Bar). For those who had participated in both the occupation of the Sudetenland and the annexation of Bohemia and Moravia on March 15, 1939, a bronze Bar (Spange Prager Burg in German) was approved on May 1, 1939. This Bar featured the Prague Castle on the obverse with two triangular prongs in the back, which held it on the ribbon. The bar was like the medal dye-struck and high in detail, with a bronze finish. Afrikakorps DAK belt buckles

I recently spotted on the German Militaria collecting market a new variety of tropical, Afrikakorps or DAK belts and belt buckles. It looks like each dealer or online shop got one, probably sold as the "new old stock" found in a German basement...

I don't want to shout at the fake without more in depth investigation, but the pictures here below should point out some strange aspects of those tropical belts and buckles. It's the kind of item I wouldn't like in my collection and definitely not for the price asked.

Point of concern # 1: The shiny and brand new looking prongs of the belt buckle.

Point of concern # 2: A slightly crissing in the molding of the belt buckle, not found on original ones which are completely straight. Makers found so far were HA and dated 1941 and 1942.

Point of concern # 3: The webbing material doesn't only look brand new, it's also quite different from the many originals I have been handling so far. The thread dangerously looks like the reproduction webbing made in Pakistan. The webbing looks odd on either belt and belt buckle tab.

Other than that, the molding really does look convincing, as well as the paint and markings. The webbing and stitching also improved a lot in the recent years. So if I would have a piece of advise to give to any Afrikakorps interested collector, that would be to be very careful and only buy if you are perfectly comfortable with the item or if the seller gives a good return policy to avoid any disappointment.

New for sale is this vet picked up Afrikakorps set in nice, worn "has been there" conditions. The set is composed of a nice 98k bayonett with scabbard and the typical tropical tan web frog(with owner's name at the rear). Beautiful set in very good conditions and 100% original. Price 260 €

For sale a nice and 100% original artillery visor cap for EM/NCOs of the Wehrmacht Heer. The leather sweat band is nicely stamped with various regiments numbers, such as Artillerie Regiment 33. Some moth holes at the rear of the cap, not too disturbing for an overall still very nice looking big sized visor cap. Price 340 €

Beautiful and rare officers side cap (Bustina) from the 13th regiment of Guardia di Finanza. Size approximately a 56, inside lining with green leather sweat band, untouched original cap from the ww2! SOLD

Coming soon is a nice tropical pair of trousers for enlisted men, quite a small size, the waist has been period modified to make it fit the soldier. Nicely stamped insided. These are getting hard to get, more pictures soon. ON HOLD

Beautiful and very rare ww2 Bersaglieri hat (moretto) from the 3rd regiment of Bersaglieri. The 3rd Bersaglieri Regiment fought in Ethiopian War attached to 30th Infantry Division "Sabauda" with which it fought from october 1935 to february 1936, and after that date under the "Colonna Celere A. O." commanded by the famous Achille Starace. The hat comes with the correct feather plumet and leather chin strap. This is not a post war hat! No synthetic material on it, genuine pre-1940 issue! Nice ww2 leather ammunition pouch, this type is referred to be the rare model 1940 for Bersaglieri troops because it doesn't have the ring for the suspenders on the back. Nice unsued conditions, 100% original pre-1945. SOLD

For sale a very nice pair of ww2 Italian collar tabs for the tank troops. Those are the correct pre-ww2 pattern with cardboard underlining and big dimensions (they have been reduced during the war for clear camouflage reasons). The collar tabs are new and still sewn together. SOLD
