Oba Femi .vs. Brock Lesnar - The Most Anticipated WrestleMania 42 Match

Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar is the WrestleMania 42 match which has garnered the most interest from people on the X social media platform leading into this weekend's pro wrestling extravaganza.

That is the findings from the people at BetOnline, who have carried out research to rank all of the matches on the Mania 42 card using over 142,000 posts published on X since the start of this month.

Femi versus Lesnar was the most talked about contest with 31% of the results. Surprisingly, Seth Rollins .vs. Gunther and the ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship are second and third - with respective percentages of 16% and 11% - before the list reaches what will be the overall main event - Sunday's clash between World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, and his challenger - Roman Reigns.

The Punk versus Reigns contest had 9.6% of the breakdown. It is ahead of the Women's World Championship match (7.5%) and the now controversial Undisputed WWE Championship clash between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton (7%).

I was not surprised to see Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar at the top of this graph. In my opinion, it has been the best built match on the Road to WrestleMania.

With that said, I am somewhat stunned to see Gunther .vs. Seth Rollins, and even the ladder match, ahead of Punk versus Reigns and Rhodes .vs. Orton.

The only reasoning I can think of is to point to the date the research began. April 1st was a couple of days after Gunther attacked Seth Rollins on the Raw from Madison Square Garden to set up their WrestleMania involvement. I surmise that enough people would have been talking about that stunning turn of events, considering Rollins - on paper - looked locked into a battle with a healthy member of The Vision before the attack from The Ring General.

I don't know if my theory holds much water when another big angle from early April is factored into the equation.

I'm stunned that Pat McAfee's introduction to the Rhodes/Orton feud, as well as his back-and-forth barbs with CM Punk (therefore making people talk about Punk/Reigns), has seemingly not impacted this graph.

McAfeee has been the talk of the industry, both positive but more negatively, since his heel turn. I would have expected that alone to have beefed up the percentages for the two main events.

BetOnline has been accepting wagers on this year's WrestleMania since the first week of February. I have tracked the price changes throughout that time.

Below are tables for each market, in the order as they appear on the BetOnline Website.

Rusev's odds have lowered from +3,300 into +1,200. That's likely following the Bulgarian Brute being booked the strongest in an angle on last night's Raw which saw him beat down his fellow match participants.

I noted that Zayn has flipped into favourite in this afternoon's post. Williams' price as underdog has since moved from +135 into +110.

Sami Zayn Becomes WrestleMania Favourite

Sami Zayn has become an odds-on favourite to successfully retain the WWE United States Championship against Trick Williams at WrestleMania 42.

As noted, in yesterday's post, the titleholder's odds were halved from +300 sometime before 6:30PM BST. They have now plummeted into -175 as of the time of writing.

With Zayn now odds-on to win the contest, Williams - who was favoured at -500 when I began following the market late last month - is now up to +135. The most recent price I have is the -200 from last night.

Zayn won the strap from Carmelo Hayes on the March 27th episode of Smackdown. The previous couple of episodes of the WWE programme teased Williams as being out of the US Title picture, which made one suspect there was a chance of the Zayn versus Williams becoming a triple threat with Hayes backdooring his way into the match.

It would appear the punter, or punters, backing Sami Zayn are under the impression it's definitely going to be a singles match on Sunday.

A couple of other WrestleMania markets have changed since last night's update.

Following a video showing Austin Theory and Logan Paul teaching IShowSpeed how to wrestle, the selection for that trio to get a win over The Usos and LA Knight has dipped into +425 from +500.

Those looking to back the babyfaces to get the win, in what will be the opening match of Saturday's card, can now find them as -800 faves. That's slightly up from the -900 they had been since Sunday.

Finally, the market for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship has seen the longshots lowered and champions' odds increase.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair had been +800 since around April 6th. They are now +700 while the titleholders - The Irresistible Forces - have been pushed up from +350 to +365.

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria remain -200 favourites with the Bella Twins, with still no word on whether Nikki Bella will be okay for Saturday, +150 second-favourites.

Here are some observations I made from this evening's visit to the BetOnline Sportsbook's WWE WrestleMania 42 markets.

The most noticeable change has seen Sami Zayn's odds halved for his US Championship defence against Trick Williams. The titleholder is now +150 while his challenger has risen from -475 to -200
Jacob Fatu is now -700, from -650, for his meeting with Drew McIntyre in an unsanctioned match. A win for the latter is now priced at +400. That's up from the previous +375
'The Demon' Finn Balor is now -600 for his bout with Dominik Mysterio. The most recent price for the fave was -550. As a result, Mysterio returns to +350 from +325
Also at -600 is Gunther, whose price has lowered from -550 for his match against Seth Rollins (now +350 from +325)
Roman Reigns has lowered from -275, from -250, for his World Heavyweight Championship shot against CM Punk. A decision for the titleholder is now +185. That's up from +170

Orton's Mania 42 Odds Shorten (Again), Plus More

Randy Orton's betting odds to beat Cody Rhodes, in the Undisputed WWE Championship match at next weekend's WrestleMania, have been lowered by the BetOnline Sportsbook.

The 2026 Elimination Chamber winner's price is now -275. That's a drop from the previous odds of -250 customers would have found the selection earlier this week.

With Orton's odds moving in once again, those for Cody Rhodes have been pushed up to +185. A decision for the titleholder was previously +170.

I surmise the Orton drop might be a reaction to reports of a bout which could be on the card for WWE Backlash on May 9th.

In this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that a tag team match pitting Cody Rhodes and Jelly Roll against Randy Orton and Pat McAfee is a possible post-Mania direction. It's noteworthy because Pat McAfee has vowed to leave WWE if Orton fails to win against Rhodes at WrestleMania.

Unless it's a red herring from WWE, McAfee still being in the plans following Mania could be regarded as a hint that Orton is lined up to win the title match in six days from now.

There have been a few other WrestleMania betting markets showing differing prices since yesterday's update.

Gunther's role as a favourite to beat Seth Rollins has continued to strengthen. He's now into -550 from the -500 he has been priced at since last week.

Rollins is now out to +325 from +300.

BetOnline has kept Bayley and Lyra Valkyria as odds-on favourites to win the fatal four-way for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. The oddsmakers have lowered two selections, however.

The Bellas are now +150 from +175 and the current champs - the Irresistible Forces - had dipped into +350 from +360.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair remain at +800.

Over the past few days, the selection for The Usos and LA Knight to beat The Vision and IShowSpeed plummeted from -110 into -1,000 resulting in the opposite side of the market rising from -130 to +550.

The most recent adjustment sees the heels (and IShowSpeed) lowered into +500.

The Usos and LA Knight have been pushed up slightly to -900.

Mania 42 Betting Update For April 11th

Brock Lesnar's odds, to get a win over Oba Femi at next weekend's WWE WrestleMania, have been moved into +200 from +215 in a betting market on the BetOnline Sportsbook's website.

As a result, Femi, has been moved up to -300 from the most recent price of -325.

That was one of three market changes I've noted since I last checked in with the betting since yesterday evening.

Another price adjustment has seen Penta's odds, for his WWE Intercontinental Championship defence inside a six-pack ladder match, move in from +175 to +105.

Je'Von Evans has been retained as the betting favourite for the match. However - he has moved from odds-on, at -115, to even money.

The newest addition to the match, Rey Mysterio, has now increased to +300 from +200 while JD McDonagh has risen to +2,200 from +2,00. Dragon Lee and Rusev have stalled at +2,00 and +3,300 respectively.

The market for the six-man tag match, which will see LA Knight team up with The Usos to take on Logan Paul, Austin Theory and IShowSpeed, has seen the former's odds plummet from -400 into -1,000 within the last day.

Those expecting an upset can get 'The Vision & IShowSpeed' at +550. That's a jump from the previous price I caught of +250.

Mania 42 Odds Notes For April 10th

There have been a couple of sight market changes in the BetOnline Sportsbook's coverage of WWE WrestleMania 42 since last night's update.

In the first change, the price for Jacob Fatu to beat Drew McIntyre - in the unsanctioned match - has been lowered. You'll now find The Samoan Werewolf at -650. He was most recently -600.

McIntyre has moved back up to +375 - an increase from +350.

Stephanie Vaquer's odds to retain the Women's World Championship against Liv Morgan have slid into +275 from +300.

With Vaquer's price lowered, the 2026 Women's Royal Rumble winner - Morgan - has now drifted up from -500 to -450.

The rest of BetOnline's markets are showing the same pricing as yesterday.

There have been a few price changes made to BetOnline's WrestleMania 42 betting markets since yesterday's post.

Here's what I've noticed since last night.

CM Punk's price to beat Roman Reigns has once again lowered. It's now at +170 from +190. The challenger is now -250 from -290
Stephanie Vaquer is now +300, from +325. for her Women's World Championship defence against Liv Morgan (now -500 from -550)
Randy Orton's odds have slid in from -250 from -225 for his title shot against Undisputed WWE Champion - Cody Rhodes. A decision for the titleholder is now priced +170. That's up from +160
Dominik Mysterio is now +325, from +350, for his battle with 'The Demon' Finn Balor. A winning wager on Balor will now pay out at -550. He was previously a -600 fave
Drew McIntyre's line to beat Jacob Fatu in the unsanctioned match has now lowered from +375 into +350. As a result, Fatu is -600 from -625.

Randy Orton's betting odds, to beat Cody Rhodes in the Undisputed WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 42, have shortened since I last checked in with the BetOnline markets for next week's event.

Previous to today's change, the challenger for Rhodes' title was a -190 favourite. That price has now been cut into -225.

The move has forced the champion back up to +160, after spending approximately four days at +145.

WWE has recently announced that the bout will take place on the card for Saturday April 18th.

Bayley And Valkyria Now Odds-On Favourites For Mania 42 Plus More

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria are now odds-on favourites to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, in a fatal four-way tag team at WrestleMania 42.

In yesterday's post, I pointed out that the team had dropped from +550 into +120 favourites since March 31st. They have now fallen into -175.

Current champs - The Irresistible Forces - are now up to +315, from +180, to retain their straps in the contest that has now been confirmed for Saturday's card of WWE's marquee event.

On last night's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, the company acknowledged that Nikki Bella is trying to rehab a foot injury to make in time for the April 18th match. The Bellas have moved out to +175 from yesterday's +130.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair remain at +800.

Finn Balor teased, and WWE has since confirmed, that Balor will bring back The Demon alter-ego for the match against Dominik Mysterio.

Balor's price has now descended into -600 from -400.

Those looking for the upset can find Dominik Mysterio at +350. That's up from the previous price of +250.

In a swift segue, Dominik's father - Rey Mysterio - threw his name into the mix for the WWE Intercontinental Championship ladder match thus making a six-pack ladder match for WrestleMania Sunday.

A Look Over WrestleMania 42 Betting Odds With Less Than 2 Weeks To Go

Now that it's less than a fortnight until WWE WrestleMania 42, I thought it's about time for me to go through BetOnline's markets for the event to point out where the land lies for each selection.

In this post, I'll go all of the markets available from the sportsbook and highlight how the odds have moved across the past few weeks. Any further updates over the upcoming thirteen days will refer back to today's starting point.

I'll begin with the latest market to be added to BetOnline's coverage of the show.

Six-Man Tag Team Match
While not confirmed so far, it looks highly likely that IShowSpeed will be a reluctant tag team partner of The Vision's Logan Paul and Austin Theory as they take on The Usos and LA Knight.

BetOnline has priced up a market for the potential six-man tag. When I checked in yesterday afternoon - and first found the odds - the sportsbook was offering The Vision and IShowSpeed as slight -130 favourites over the -110 for The Usos and Knight.

Close to twenty-four hours later, those odds have flipped with The Uso and LA Knight now -130 over their opposition.

As noted, going by last week's Raw, I surmise IShowSpeed will be a reluctant partner of Paul and Theory. That leads me to suspect it'll play into the finish of the match with the social media star somehow ending the contest in celebration with The Usos and Knight.

Gunther .vs. Seth Rollins
Another newer market to BetOnline's WrestleMania offering is the one for Gunther versus Seth Rollins, which was set up a week ago when Gunther attacked Rollins on the Raw from Madison Square Garden.

A market for the bout was published within a day. Gunther was priced as a -200 fave over the +150 for Rollins. Across the past week, the punters have evidently backed the favourite because the Austrian is now into -500 while Rollins' price has increased to +300.

WWE Women's Tag Team Championship
Current WWE Women's Tag Team Champs - The Irresistible Forces - were favourites to successfully retain their straps in the fatal four-way match when BetOnline priced up a market for the contest last week.

As of today, the titleholders are up to +180 following periods where all three of their opponents appear to have been backed.

The first case was for the Bella Twins. Their odds were lowered from +200 into +125 sometime between Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon. Then, over the weekend, I found Bayley and Lyra Valkyria had dipped into +275, from +550. As I was making notes, I even caught their odds drop into +120 live that very afternoon.

Today's drop has sided with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. They had started out at +600, but moved up to +900 over the week. They have since been lowered into +800.

Finn Balor .vs. Dominik Mysterio
Another market which was priced up last week is for the grudge match between Fin Balor and Dominik Mysterio.

BetOnline had Balor as a -300 fave to Dirty Dom's +200 on Tuesday. By Thursday, the latter was down to +185 but returned to +200, before leaping out to +250, over the weekend.

Mysterio's drifting has been caused by Balor seemingly being backed from -275 into -400.

WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship
BetOnline created a market for AJ Lee's Women's Intercontinental Title defence against Becky Lynch almost two weeks ago. At the time, they had Lee +300 to Lynch's -500.

The first couple of adjustments sided with the champ because Lee fell into +250 a couple of days later. Then, the following evening, I caught her selection at +225.

Lynch remained the favourite, but her odds improved to -350 over those three days. By Monday 30th March, both selections were back to where they were five days previous.

The most recent shift occurred over the weekend. It saw the titleholder's price snipped into +275. Those looking to gamble on Lynch can presently catch her as a -450 fave.

WWE United States Championship
Trick Williams is a favourite to beat WWE United States Champion, Sami Zayn, in a singles match at WrestleMania.

I point that out because there are still two episodes of Smackdown to shoehorn former holder - Carmelo Hayes - into the match even though, on last week's Smackdown, he lost a title shot against Zayn seemingly leaving Hayes out of the US Title picture at Mania.

Above are the prices for a Zayn .vs. Williams singles match for the strap. As you can see, the first adjustment I was able to catch had Zayn's selection snipped into +275 from +300. However, a couple of days later, Williams' price moved into -475 from -450.

Unsanctioned Match
The bettors have sided with Jacob Fatu to overcome his nemesis - Drew McIntyre - when they meet in an unsanctioned match during WrestleMania Weekend.

Fatu's odds descended from -500 into -625 between Sunday March 29th and this past Sunday. As a result, those looking for a punt on McIntyre can now grab him at +375. That's up from +300.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match
Penta will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a five-man ladder match during the two-night event.

The champ was odds-on to win when I began following the betting last Tuesday. He has since moved out due to interest coming in on Je'Von Evans, who dropped from +170 into -165 in three days.

For those keeping records - Evans winning will mean he'll become the youngest Intercontinental Champion in WWE history. He'll turn 22 a little over a week after this match.

With that said, the most recent price shift has seen Penta's odds to retain lower from +100 into -110.

Oba Femi .vs. Brock Lesnar
BetOnline emailed the odds for the Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar clash on March 18th. At the time, the sportsbook listed the former as a -350 favourite over Lesnar's +225.

It has been a slight see-saw in betting. Both selections have retained their roles as favourite and underdog. However, the first change I witnessed had Lesnar lowered into +215 while Femi's odds improved to -325 for the punter.

The aforementioned gamblers sided with the fave following that move because he fell into -350 by Saturday March 21st and shortened once more, then into -400, a day later.

A couple of recent changes have seen Lesnar fall from +250 into +225 and then +215 on March 23rd and 28th respectively.

Oba Femi has returned to -325.

WWE Women's Championship
The market for Jade Cargill's WWE Women's Championship defence against Rhea Ripley has been available for five weeks. As you'll be able to view below, the challenger was -300 on March 2nd and was down into -350 by March 21st. On the other side of the market, Cargill rose to +225 from +200.

There was a slight dip for the titleholder, when her odds slipped into +215 on March 28th, but they have since returned to +225 following Ripley having been backed into -350, from -325, on April 3rd.

Women's World Championship

Liv Morgan has had the most action when it comes to the market for her Women's World Championship title match against current holder - Stephani Vaquer.

The 2026 Women's Royal Rumble winner was a -500 fave on March 2nd. However, the selection increased to -200 following a move which saw Vaquer's odds halved into +150 around March 19th.

Since Morgan moved into the aforementioned -200, her price tumbled into -550 across a one-week period starting on March 21st.

The last couple of movements I recorded had the champ backed from +325 into +300 on March 31st but then the odds for Morgan dropped into -550, from -500, ahead of last weekend.

Undisputed WWE Championship

I first received the odds for the Cody Rhodes versus Randy Orton match, for the Undisputed WWE Championship, in a March 18th email from BetOnline. At that time, they listed the challenger as a -140 favourite to Rhodes +100. Within six minutes of reading the mail, I checked for myself. Rhodes' price had dropped into -110 while his challenger was up to -130.

By the evening of March 22nd, Orton's odds had dropped into -220 forcing the bookies to put the champ out to +155. From there, however, the bettors appear to have sided with Rhodes because his price descended into +150 by March 29th.

Orton, then a -180 favourite following the interest in a Rhodes victory, was shortened into -210 six days ago resulting in Rhodes moving to +160.

The most recent change, likely caused by the Pat McAfee angle on Smackdown which saw him side with Orton in a bid to Make WWE Great Again, has seen Cody Rhodes lower into +145 while his challenger has become a -190 fave.

World Heavyweight Championship

Roman Reigns has retained the role of betting favourite throughout the entire close-to-nine weeks this market for his World Heavyweight Championship title shot has been active.

With that stated - there have been occasions, especially recently, when CM Punk's line to successfully retain the strap have descended.

The 2026 Men's Royal Rumble winner was a -500 favourite over Punk's +300 on February 5th. The initial couple of changes I recorded saw Punk lowered into +225.

Following those two Punk dips came a period which had Reigns' selection fall from -350 into 500.

The most recent cuts began on March 22nd. It resulted in CM Punk lowering from +300 into +275 by the evening of Sunday March 22nd. That began a fall which now sees the champ at +190 while his challenger is -290.

BetOnline has republished two of its WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 betting markets ahead of tonight's PLE.

In a post published earlier today, I noted that the sportsbook had suspended wagering on both the Men's Elimination Chamber match and the World Heavyweight Championship clash between CM Punk and Finn Balor.

The latter market has returned with Punk now a -10,000 favourite to successfully defend his title. A decision for Balor will now pay out at +2,000. That's double what he had been.

Gambling on the Elimination Chamber contest was likely halted following the removal of Jey Uso from the match.

On last night's WWE Smackdown, Logan Paul was confirmed as a participant following a win over Jacob Fatu in a qualifying match which ended the show.

Paul has been installed as a +2,000 longshot.

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton retain their respective roles as -400 favourite and +200 second-favourites in the refreshed market.

Rhea Ripley's price to win the Women's Elimination Chamber match has now dropped further since the most recent post.

The favourite is now into -700 from the -400 she had been backed into after she and Iyo Sky lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship - to the Irresistible Forces - on Smackdown.

In another movement, Becky Lynch's numbers to retain the Women's WWE Intercontinental Championship - against AJ Lee - have continued their decline.

Even though the champ is still the betting underdog for this contest, Lynch is now +140. Her price was previously +145 with BetOnline.

Lee, who'll return to singles wrestling action for the first time in over a decade, is currently -180 to get the W. That's up from this morning's -190.

The markets are scheduled to close right when WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 is set to commence.

A Look Over WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 Betting Odds

With Logan Paul replacing Jey Uso, as a participant in tonight's Elimination Chamber match, betting markets for the contest - to determine the number one contender for Drew McIntyre's Undisputed WWE Championship - have been taken off the board across a number of sports betting websites.

It isn't the only market that is a conspicuous absence from BetOnline's coverage of WWE Elimination Chamber 2026.

As of the time of writing, it's also no longer possible to gamble on the result of CM Punk's World Heavyweight Championship defence against Finn Balor.

Customers can still wager on the victor of the Women's Elimination Chamber match as well as on the outcome of the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship clash between Becky Lynch and her challenger - AJ Lee.

Last night's WWE Smackdown opened with Jey Uso being taken away in an ambulance following an apparent backstage attack. The show was partially built around setting up the sixth participant in the match. Logan Paul won the right by beating Jacob Fatu in the main event.

Paul now replaces Uso who replaced Bronson Reed, who was reportedly scheduled for the contest before suffering a legitimate injury in Monday's qualifier.

As you'll see, before the market was taken down, Cody Rhodes was the odds-on favourite to win with his price descending from -125 into -400 between Tuesday and Thursday of this week. From Thursday, however, there appeared to have been interest in a Randy Orton win because the Viper's price was lowered into +200 from +275 by yesterday evening.

On the eve of Royal Rumble Weekend, I acknowledged the reports of a potential triple threat match at WrestleMania which would see Drew McIntyre defend his strap against Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu. Going by post-Rumble TV, it feels like it's still a possibility because McIntyre interfered in last night's main event by costing Fatu the spot in the Elimination Chamber. That act alone leads me to believe Fatu is still - somehow! - in the mix for the Undisputed WWE Championship match at WrestleMania.

Using logic, with Fatu not in tonight's match and Cody Rhodes a runner, that obviously makes him correctly positioned as the odds-on favourite.

Randy Orton in second-place also seems reasonable considering there have been reports about a possible four-way at Mania. By having Orton win, it adds more chapters to Rhodes' chase to regain the strap.

I'm also open to there being some sort of qualifier on night one of WrestleMania to add either Orton, Rhodes or Fatu into a triple threat title match should that be on the night two card ahead of CM Punk .vs. Roman Reigns. Time will answer that one.

Had I written this post yesterday, rather than today, I would have likely pointed out that Rhea Ripley has been the punters' choice to win the Women's Elimination Chamber match because her price plummeted from +500 into -175 between Tuesday and yesterday afternoon.

I had a feeling Ripley would retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Iyo Sky against The Irresistible Forces, on last night's Smackdown, because I suspected she and Sky's, for that matter, Mania participation would have something to do with wrestling The Bella Twins on the April card. Alas, I would have turned out to be incorrect.

Being a Saturday morning booker, I would have likely sided with Tiffany Stratton ahead of last night's Smackdown. It was only because she had no apparent course - on the horizon - before Smackdown. After yesterday's TV, it seems likely Stratton has a feud with Chelsea Green lined up because Green was on commentary and took a bump during Stratton's win over Kairi Sane.

Ripley took the pin in the tag team loss. If she isn't winning tonight, that would mean one of the most protected wrestlers on the roster will have back-to-back losses in succession.

Going by the prices, I think it's now acceptable to witness Ripley as the odds-on fave for tonight. Her price has slid into -400 , from last night's -160, since losing the tag titles.

I was baffled to see Raquel Rodriquez open as the betting favourite for the match. BetOnline had the Judgment Day member at odds of +140 when I was alerted to the market's existence on Tuesday. The wagering has seen Rodriquez drift out to +900 although her price was recently reduced into the +700 in which you'll currently find her.

In storyline, Rodriquez is tied to Liv Morgan's title shot quest against Stephanie Vaquer. I suppose the oddsmakers might have concluded the two Judgment Day members could be going for both of the major singles titles in WWE. It still made no sense on paper considering Jade Cargill .vs. Raquel Rodriquez would be a heel .vs. heel matchup.

I keep reaching one conclusion: the oddsmakers made a mistake by confusing Rhea Ripley with Raquel Rodriquez because both have double R initials.

The CM Punk .vs. Finn Balor market fairly opened with Punk heavily-favoured to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. He had been kept at -5,000 from Tuesday10th February through to whenever the market closed overnight. Balor was written up at +1,200 but the market was readjusted a week last Friday with the challenger's odds lowered to +1,000.

Punk is set to defend the strap against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. To be frank, tonight is a lame duck match because of that fact. The odds are correctly positioned with Punk so short.

And that's not even factoring in the match is in Punk's home city of Chicago.

Another Punk/Chicago tie-in is AJ Lee, who's set to challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Title tonight.

Punk's wife has been a favourite to get a decision over Lynch throughout the market's existence. However, most of the adjustments have sided with the champ to successfully retain because her odds, after initially moving up from +200 to +225, have lowered into +145 over the past seventeen days.

This will be AJ Lee's first singles match in almost eleven years. The show will emanate from her current residence of Chicago. I believe it's sound to consider AJ Lee to be the favourite for this one even though some of the bettors are evidently going the other way.

Royal Rumble '26 Betting Favourites

BetOnline's markets for the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble closed at 5:00PM GMT.

Both of the Royal Rumble outright winner markets closed with odds-on favourites in Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan respectively. Each selection was -200 apiece.

Morgan was +2,500 when the market was first installed in early December. That was a little under a fortnight before she returned to WWE following her return from a summer injury.

The Judgment Day member found her way to the top of the market by January 4th. She remained at its peak through to today's close.

Roman Reigns has been a relatively consistent favourite in the market for the Men's Royal Rumble. However, were moments when he battled Bron Breakker for the top spot in the market.

The two selections even flipped places today with Reigns moved into second-favourite this afternoon before he regained his spot from Breakker shortly before betting was suspended.

The closing favourite for the Undisputed WWE Championship match between Drew McIntyre and his challenger - Sami Zayn - was the former. However, it was clear from the betting that, Zayn was the public's favourite to go over in the match.

As I've covered over the previous day (on Friday and this morning), the market for the AJ Styles .vs. Gunther match was taken off the board. The sportsbook noted that Styles had opened as a -200 favourite over Gunther's +300. However, when I came across the market, a week last Wednesday, Styles was a heavy -1,000 favourite while his opponent was +500.

BetOnline pointed to Styles trademarking at least a couple of monikers as to their reasoning for pulling the market. Before that, the sportsbook noticed customers 'hammering Gunther to win this match'.

In a potentially corelated incident, the sportsbook also removed Gunther from its Royal Rumble winner market, so customers were unable to bet on the Austrian since Monday of this week.

Liv Morgan, Roman Reigns, Gunther (over Styles) and McIntyre (over Zayn) remain favourites to win their respective matches in domestic Royal Rumble markets still available as of the time of writing.

BetOnline Explains Styles/Gunther Decision Plus More

BetOnline's PR team sent out an email to their contacts last night to explain something which was brought up in yesterday's post regarding the AJ Styles .vs. Gunther betting market that has been taken off the board.

In the post, I shared the match odds I was able to follow before betting was suspended. As you'll see in the table below, Styles was a -1,000 favourite over Gunther's +550 when I initially came across the market a week last Wednesday.

You'll also notice Gunther's odds were the only decreases I witnessed in the period before the book was shut on this particular match.

Jimmy Shapiro, who sends out BetOnline's press releases, noted that Styles had started off as a -300 fave to Gunther's +200 and that 'bettors at BetOnline.ag have been hammering Gunther to win'.

The spokesperson reasoned that the punters were backing Gunther in reaction to the news of AJ Styles independently trademarking a couple of monikers to use within the wrestling business leading some to see him setting those up to work outside of World Wrestling Entertainment.

Shapiro didn't mention another possible reason why the sportsbook's clients might be siding with Gunther over Styles.

Following his match against Styles on last week's Saturday Night's Main Event, Shinsuke Nakamura wrote a blog post about his friend and mentioned that - sometime in 2025 - Styles told Nakamura the Phenomenal One eyed the 2026 Royal Rumble as the venue where he would retire from WWE.

That journal entry was later pulled.

Going by where the odds were when I began following the market, if Styles opened at -300 then the early bettors must have sided with the favourite early in the betting for the selection to be at -1,000 by the evening of January 21st.

Which leads me to something which was not addressed by BetOnline.

In yesterday's post, I pointed out that Gunther's selection has also been pulled from BetOnline's outright winner market for the Rumble.

The last sign I have of Gunther in the market is from Wednesday of this week. At that time, he was priced as a +200 second-favourite - a position he had held since falling in from +1,400 in the opening days of 2026.

I have asked whether BetOnline has suspended Gunther from the market because they've corelated Gunther winning against Styles would also mean he would end up scoring a brace by outlasting the field in the battle royal later in the card.

As pointed out yesterday, it would be more logical for Gunther to somehow lose against Styles and then regain his heat by winning the Rumble later in the night. Of course, he could do both, but the former scenario makes the most sense if the plan is for Styles to continue his active career in WWE and for Gunther to be in one of the title bouts at WrestleMania.

European bettors can still find markets for the Styles .vs. Gunther match. For example, Sky Bet has Gunther favoured at 1/2 (-200 US) with Styles priced 11/8 (approximately +138 US).

Gunther's name still exists in the Rumble winner markets as well. He's generally found in fourth place at odds of around 9/1.

In a side note, I was forwarded the following image from a friend of the blog overnight.

It shows that BetOnline had taken Roxanne Perez off the board for a brief period and he happened to catch them at that time.

It's not abnormal to see this happen with betting websites when a selection is backed. However, something similar did occur with Jey Uso's selection on the Friday night heading into the 2025 Royal Rumble.

The bet/s have not affected Perez's odds. The selection has returned back to its position in the +6,600 range.

On Smackdown, an on-screen graphic that is used during the Royal Rumble match briefly popped up on screen.

The display showed Bron Breakker as entrant number one.

If this was an unintentional mistake (this could be a plant to further the Adam Pearce .vs. Heyman/The Vision storyline), it suggests that the plan was for Breakker to start early (obviously!). I have checked the 'Most Eliminations' market on the BetOnline website and the graphic has caused Breakker's odds to oust the most participants to be halved from +400.

It's interesting to see Breakker given that number, if true, because that would have meant he'd have shared that spot with his uncle - Scott Steiner - who was number one for the 1994 Royal Rumble.

Breakker's father - Rick - entered in position three.

Oba Femi remains a favourite in this particular market.

Rumble '26 Odds And Musings

This week's episode of Smackdown, which will air from Saudi Arabia at 5PM GMT, could give us a few more clues for the Royal Rumble matches, but I thought I'd give myself a head-start on Rumble musings by doing my semi-annual posts where I look at the list of potential winners and then say who I've gambled on.

Starting with the men's Rumble, the favourite from the start of betting remains the same - Roman Reigns.

Reigns winning the Rumble does seem logical if we factor in the reports that one of the most earliest plans for this year's WrestleMania was for the OTC to challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. That idea appears to have been iced following Rollins' shoulder injury, which was suffered at WWE Crown Jewel 2025. It resulted in the champion having to relinquish his title. It ultimately landed on CM Punk.

Therefore, with Punk replacing Rollins for the strap, would it not be reasonable to consider he also takes The Visionary's place as Roman Reigns' WrestleMania dance partner?

BetOnline's current second-favourite is Sami Zayn. His placement is interesting for a couple of reasons.

First, Zayn was moved into that position earlier this week when Gunther was taken off the board from BetOnline's Rumble winner market.

The removal coincided with the firm taking down the Gunther .vs. AJ Styles market. As you'll see below, customers had been backing the Austrian to send AJ Styles into retirement. However, the entire market was removed on Sunday for no clear reason. Gunther was then removed from BetOnline's Rumble outright winner market within a day or so later.

To draw my own conclusions, I suspect the betting firm took late action on Styles winning the match against Gunther and then had money landing on Gunther to come back and win the Rumble in the main event.

A scenario like that was spitballed by Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of his Wrestling Observer Radio podcast. It would make sense because it would see Gunther lose and regain his heat close to instantly.

For what it's worth, however, European sportsbooks still have the market for the AJ Styles .vs. Gunther match. Gunther is odds-on to win.

To compare the European outright Rumble winner markets - Gunther is fifth in the betting there. So, there is a contrast with how both the retirement match and Gunther's potential Rumble showing are represented between the two betting continents.

Sami Zayn being the second-favourite falls into, I suppose, a similar narrative. I suspect gamblers have been punting on Zayn to win the Royal Rumble with an idea that he'll fail in his quest to unseat Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship earlier in the night and then come back to be the last man standing in the battle royal.

With next year's WrestleMania set to emanate from Saudi Arabia, it seems to me that Zayn winning next year's Royal Rumble to set him up for the Mania 44 main event is a far superior story if the company wants to belt up Sami Zayn at one of these Saudi shows.

McIntyre is a short-priced favourite to successfully defend the strap tomorrow. He's currently 2/5 (-250 US) in Europe and an extremely priced -4,000 with BetOnline.

The champ had started at -5,000 but Zayn was backed down from +1.200 overnight.

Bron Breakker is a second-favourite with European bookies and is placed third in the running on the BetOnline website. The latter is intriguing because BetOnline's own research into the US public's interest in who will win the men's Royal Rumble has Breakker leading the pack.

Just like for previous major WWE PLEs, the team at BetOnline has geotagged data from the X social media platform to determine who the consensus are siding with.

Of the fifty US States, twenty are rooting for Bron Breakker per the rules of this project.

Speaking of X, it should be noted that the person in charge of the WrestleVotes account is on record as stating that Breakker was high on the list of potential winners from the WWE writers' room.

Remember above, when I wrote about Roman Reigns versus Seth Rollins as being one of the potential earlier plans for WrestleMania? Well, another one was Reigns challenging Cody Rhodes for the undisputed WWE Championship.

Now that Rhodes is no longer holding the strap, his odds to win his third Rumble in three years - after winning in 2023 and 2024 - have descended. He's currently a top price of 12/1 here in Europe (Betfred) and +475 with BetOnline. The selection is fifth in Europe and fourth with BetOnline.

If we're going by how Rhodes lost the title (Jacob Fatu interrupted the Three Stages of Hell match ultimately allowing McIntyre to escape and win the belt) and how his Saturday Night's Main Event match with Fatu didn't happen (McIntyre interrupted before the bell rang), I feel it's safe to conclude that those three will meet in a triple threat match somewhere on the road to WrestleMania if not at the event itself.

And for that, Jacob Fatu should become an important option for Rumble bettors. He is sixth in the running with both betting firms. The best available European price is the 14/1 from Star Sports. Fatu is less than half of that, at +600 (6/1 UK) with BetOnline.

I've had a few Rumble punts over the past few months. Here's the list along with the odds.

Roman Reigns 17/2 - Placed in October. I suppose I was under the impression he would challenge Rhodes.

Austin Theory 50/1 - There's method to my madness. Remember when Theory was the masked man? Well, I thought they would tease it was Seth Rollins for longer than they did. I had enVISIONed the masked man being in the Rumble with the commentators suspecting it was Seth Rollins only for Theory to unmask once he had won it. Which leads me to....

Seth Rollins 20/1 - I put this bet on around the time when Bron Breakker was set to challenge CM Punk on the first Raw of 2026. I thought it was worth a gamble just in case they put the belt on Breakker. This despite Rollins still being injured. Alas, the Breakker winning the belt part didn't happen.

Brock Lesnar 33/1 - Another one filed in the 'just in case Bron Breakker is the champion by Mania' drawer.

Jacob Fatu 20/1 - The most recent wager and one I would like to see come in the most. With that said, if the WrestleMania match for the undisputed WWE Championship is the McIntyre .vs. Rhodes .vs Fatu triple threat, I suspect WWE would rather have Roman Reigns win the Rumble so they can get a head-start plugging at least one of the main events for WrestleMania weekend.

It could obviously be Cody Rhodes winning the spot first, ahead of Jacob Fatu (if it's the match), but I think McIntyre telling Cody he had to get back in the line of challengers allows for Rhodes' journey to WrestleMania to see him get into the title match via the back door, if you will (please read that in a Dusty Rhodes voice!).

In regards to the women's Rumble, I believe the current favourite makes the most reason. That hasn't stopped me from hoping on another selection with longer odds, however.

Liv Morgan is the consensus betting favourite right now. As of today, BetOnline customers can find her odds-on at -125. She had started out in the +2,500 range at the bottom half of 2025.

Morgan was on my list of potential winners during the summer after she was shelved following an injury against Kairi Sane on Raw. I fancied the idea of Morgan coming back as a Rumble surprise and winning. Instead, she returned in December and made it known her goal was to bring gold back to The Judgment Day faction.

The wrinkle to Morgan's current storyline is the fact that her ally, and Judgment Day stablemate, Raquel Rodriquez is currently feuding with Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer.

Vaquer is scheduled to defend her strap against Rodriquez on the upcoming episode of Raw. Wouldn't it be even more interesting for Monday if the curiosity over the result of the title match has Morgan's Mania title choice looming over it?

Bianca Belair was the betting favourite before Morgan switched spots with her at the start of this year. Ironically, both appeared together on a Netflix commercial which began airing around Christmastime.

Belair does have a perfect storyline to return to should she win the Rumble. Her former tag team partner, Jade Cargill, is holding the women's title on Smackdown.

Which leads to my longshot bet, which - if looking at current TV - doesn't seem that much of a longshot.

Jordynne Grace has recently been brought up to the Smackdown brand from NXT (and TNA before that). Her very first interaction was with Cargill. On last week's episode of Smackdown, Grace announced she would be an entrant in the Rumble and once again set her sights on the holder of the WWE Women's Championship.

I have backed Grace at 50/1. She's currently available at 40/1 (Ladbrokes/Coral) in Europe while BetOnline lists Smackdown's newcomer at a whopping +6,600 (66/1 UK).

As stated, Morgan makes the most sense considering Monday's match. Grace at those long odds, however? I strongly believe Jordynne Grace's price should be shorter than they are considering she's in a storyline where the champ is ducking her challenges.

Cargill vs Grace could simply end up being a TV match, or even something for the undercard of Elimination Chamber 2026, so maybe the bookmakers have Grace priced right.

We'll find out tomorrow. Hopefully not sooner.

Here are the closing betting favourites for tonight's episode of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.

The selections are ranked in order of strength using the betting odds that were available from the BetOnline Sportsbook.

Sami Zayn closed as a -800 favourite to become number one contender to Drew McIntyre's Undisputed WWE Championship.

The team of Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky closed as -700 favourites to successfully retain the Women's WWE Tag Team Championship over Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez. There was no activity from this market from the day I began following it.

AJ Styles was -650 to go over Shinsuke Nakamura in the most recent bout to be added to tonight's card.

Finally, in a recent update, I pointed out that Jacob Fatu's odds to get a decision against Cody Rhodes had dropped into -120 from +135. As a result, Rhodes' price moved up to -120 from -175 leaving both selections at pick 'em. By the time of the market's closure, Fatu's price had moved in slightly to -125 while Cody Rhodes' number went up a tad to -115. Therefore, the closing fave was Fatu by an inch.

All of the price adjustments I was able to capture can be found in the tables below.

BetOnline Publishes Styles/Nakamura Market

BetOnline has installed a market for the latest addition to the card for tonight's WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.

On yesterday's Smackdown, a match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura was set up. Following the announcement, a market for the bout was priced up here in Europe. However, the oddsmakers from BetOnline still only had three betting opportunities when I checked in this morning and a couple of other times today.

The market has now gone live with Styles a -550 favourite over the +325 for Shinsuke Nakamura.

As I pointed out this morning, domestic bookmakers have Styles at the equivalent of -1,000 while those looking to gamble on Nakamura can find him out to +500.

Rhodes/Fatu Moves To Pick 'Em In SNME Betting

Jacob Fatu's odds to beat Cody Rhodes have now fallen in a market for tonight's WWE Saturday Night's Main Event clash.

Earlier today, I noted that the BetOnline Sportsbook was offering Fatu at odds of +135 despite being priced up as a favourite in markets available from Europe.

Fatu has since fallen into -120 while his opponent has risen up from -175 to -120 meaning both selections are at pick 'em.

The adjustments were made sometime before 2:10PM GMT today.

The remaining two markets are still showing the same pricing as THIS MORNING.

Betting Odds For The 24th January '26 Edition Of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

BetOnline's markets for tonight's edition of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event have been available since the start of this week. As of this morning, there are three matches available to bet on. In this post, I'll go through each match and point out who the customers are betting on.

Or not.

The market for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship has been stationary since Monday. The current titleholders - Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky - are listed as -700 favourites to successfully retain their straps against Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez (+400).

The sportsbook placed Cody Rhodes as a favourite to defeat Jacob Fatu when they meet in their grudge match. The only adjustments for this match were made within the market's first day. It saw Rhodes' odds move in from -150 into -175 while Fatu's were increased from +110 out to +135.

Interestingly, European sportsbooks have the selections with their respective roles reversed. For example, Jacob Fatu is the equivalent of a -138 favourite while Rhodes is -110 with Paddy Power.

It comes as no surprise to see Sami Zayn favoured to win the Fatal 4-way to determine the number one contender to Drew McIntyre's Undisputed WWE Championship. As I wrote earlier this month, Zayn challenging for the title in Saudi Arabia - at the Royal Rumble - seems quite a perfect opportunity for WWE. At the time I predicted Zayn would qualify for tonight's match, I didn't even realise the four-way decider would play out in Zayn's home province of Quebec.

Sami Zayn had been available as a -600 favourite throughout most of the week, but was moved into -700 overnight. His opponents have all drifted out with Randy Orton slightly up to +310 from +300 while the selections for Trick Williams and Damian Priest each moved out from +700 to +750.

BetOnline doesn't have a market for the latest addition to the card - an AJ Styles versus Shinsuke Nakamura match. There is an opportunity to wager on the contest domestically, however.

Paddy Power lists Styles as a 1/10 favourite (-1,000 US) over Nakamura's 5/1 (+500 US).

How McIntyre's Title Win Could Impact Rumble Betting Markets

Drew McIntyre has become the new Undisputed WWE Champion after beating Cody Rhodes in the Three Stages of Hell match which took place in the main event of tonight's WWE Smackdown from Berlin, Germany.

The result could now impact betting markets for the Royal Rumble considering Cody Rhodes' new status.

In regards to Rhodes - Sky Bet is currently listing him at 9/1 to win the battle royal in three weeks from tomorrow. The former champ had been available at 25s a little over a month ago.

Advertised for next week's Smackdown are four qualifier matches. Each winner will then compete in a Fatal Four-Way match on the January 24th episode of Saturday Night's Main Event with the last man standing winning a shot against the champ a week later at the Rumble.

The bouts set for Wembley Arena next week are Damian Priest .vs. Solo Sikoa, Matt Cardona .vs. Trick Williams, Randy Orton .vs. The Miz and Sami Zayn .vs. Ilja Dragunov.

Going by those names, and bearing in mind the strap is now held by a strong heel plus the Royal Rumble is taking place in Saudi Arabia, it would not surprise me to see Sami Zayn given the spot to challenge McIntyre for the title in front of an audience that would root for him in that position.

By process of elimination, Rhodes is evidently in the cold for now. Hence why he should become one of the potential betting favourites to win the thirty-man Rumble on January 31st.

However, it would be the third time in four Rumbles if such a result were to reoccur.

Drew McIntyre is currently no longer listed in Sky Bet's Rumble winner market even though he was there - at 14/1 - last month.

Current Betting Odds For Raw's Netflix Anniversary Special

It has been over a month since the oddsmakers from the BetOnline Sportsbook published a betting market for the World Heavyweight Championship match scheduled between titleholder - CM Punk - and his challenger, Bron Breakker, set for tonight's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw.

At the time I first spotlighted the market, the oddsmakers offered Punk as a -175 favourite over the +135 for Breakker. However, within just two days, the odds for the underdog had lowered into +110.

Punk has since been stationary, at a price of -300, after falling from -150 on December 7th. As a result of the bets seemingly coming in on the champ, Breakker was pushed up from the aforementioned +110 out to +200.

That isn't the only market available for tonight's special edition of WWE's long-running show, which celebrates its first year - as part of the Netflix family - tonight.

The Kabuki Warriors' Women's Tag Team Championship will be on the line against Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky.

When the betting for this match was first installed on December 17th, the bookies had Ripley and Sky as -250 chalk to get the win over Asuka and Kairi Sane (+170). Within a day, the favourites' number had tumbled into -500 while the titleholders' was pushed up to +300.

The most recent adjustment to the market has sided with The Kabuki Warriors because their price has slid in slightly with a snip into +250.

Those looking to gamble on Ripley and Sky can now grab them at -400.

Also on tonight's card is a Women's Intercontinental Championship defence for Maxxine Dupri against previous champ - Becky Lynch.

The BetOnline staff haven't priced up a market for that particular attraction.

Another Raw Betting Market Released Plus More

The team of Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky are betting favourites to defeat The Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on the first episode of WWE Monday Night Raw for 2026.

BetOnline sent out a release this evening noting that the challengers are -250 favourites over the +170 for Asuka and Kairi Sane.

The bout was confirmed for the January 5th show in a segment which aired on current edition of Raw. World Wrestling Entertainment is hyping up the upcoming card because it'll be the one-year anniversary of its move to Netflix.

Earlier this month, the oddsmakers from BetOnline put out a market in which customers could bet on the WWE World Championship match between CM Punk and his challenger - Bron Breakker.

As it currently stands, Punk is -300 to Breakker's +200.

The favourite's odds were shortened, from -150 sometime before 8:00pm GMT a week last Sunday. As you'll be able to view - in the table above - the early adjustments sided with the challenger because Breakker was backed from +135 into +110 within the first two days.

Punk was a -175 favourite on December 2nd before rising to -150 and then halved.

In a correlated note, Bron Breakker remains a favourite to win the 2026 Royal Rumble on January 31st. However, his odds have drifted from +140 to +150 since Monday. That's likely due to a selection for CM Punk having been added to the Rumble market within the past day or so.

A Punk Rumble win is currently offered at +400 as a third-favourite with Roman Reigns (down into +290 from +300) sandwiched in-between the two January 5th opponents.

Betting Favourites For WWE Saturday Night's Main Event (13 December '25)

The BetOnline Sportsbook's WWE Saturday Night's Man Event markets closed at 11:30PM GMT. Customers were able to bet on all four of the matches that have been advertised for the show. Below are the favourites for each contest ranked in order of strength starting with the wrestler/s with the shortest odds.

Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles & Dragon Lee (Both Selections Closed -600)

There is a tie at the top with Cody Rhodes and the team of AJ Styles and Dragon Lee both closing at -600 in their respective markets.

As you can see above, the early wagers appear to have sided with Oba Femi for his meeting with Cody Rhodes.

Contrasted with this market is the one for the tag match. In that one, the favourites' price had a steep drop after starting -200 before closing at -600.

Gunther (-260)

Even though Gunther closed as a favourite to be the last man to beat John Cena, the betting patterns point to the customers siding with Cena going over in his career finale.

The selection for John Cena was at +700 when I was notified of the market at the top of the week. The shortest price I was able to record was +170 earlier this evening.

Yes, Gunther closed as the favourite. His price had drifted to -260 from -2,000 in this betting period, though.

Sol Ruca (-250)

NXT's Sol Ruca was -500 on Monday and closed at -250 today. That obviously points to the customers backing her opponent - Bayley.

The sportsbook offered Bayley to its customers at +300 on Monday. The first four adjustments saw the outsider lowered into +135 within the first day or so. It was then a see-saw with Ruca backed into -250 from -175 on Thursday, forcing the traders to push Bayley up to +170 from +170. However, that price was snipped into +165 sometime between last night and this morning. The most recent change I recorded saw Ruca dip from -240 into the closing -250. Bayley moved back up to +170.

BetOnline's markets for the January 5th Raw, the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 42 are still available as of the time of writing.

Cena Down To +180 In SNME Betting

John Cena's odds to beat Gunther, on tonight's episode of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, have now dropped into +180 with BetOnline.

The sportsbook has been accepting wagers on the bout, which is the final stop of John Cena's retirement tour. It'll see the seventeen-time world champ take on the winner of The Last Time Is Now tournament - Gunther.

Earlier this week, when the market was opened, customers would have found the retiring wrestler at longer odds. He was available at +700 on Monday evening but, barring one moment yesterday, has been on the decline across the week.

The most recent adjustment has seen tonight's underdog backed from +225 into the aforementioned +180.

Gunther, on the other hand, opened as a heavy favourite with a price of -2,000. That number has eventually drifted to today's -270.

Over here in Europe, a similar market has been available ever since the tournament to determine Cena's opponent was in progress. The option to gamble on Cena is slightly shorter at the equivalent of +175. I had seen, and backed, Cena at +350.

'Last Time Is Now Tournament Winner', the name of the selection before it was changed to 'Gunther' is now priced at -250.

Other recent changes on the BetOnline website's coverage of tonight's card has seen the team of AJ Styles and Dragon Lee lower from -350 into -400 for their meeting with Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater. A win for the latter duo is currently priced at +250. That is higher than the +150 from earlier this week.

Sol Ruca is now a -240 fave to beat Bayley (now +165). The favourite was -500 on Monday evening while Bayley was +300.

The current adjustment in the market for the Cody Rhodes versus Oba Femi match has sided with Rhodes. He's now a -700 favourite to overcome this clash between major titleholders of their respective brands. Femi is +400.
