Betting markets, for tonight's WWE Clash in Italy, have now closed.

Here are the closing favourites from BetOnline's coverage of the event.

As noted in recent posts, the market for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship flipped on Friday with Becky Lynch backed from long odds into favouritism to win over Sol Ruca. BetOnline took the market off the board yesterday.

The William Hill Sportsbook had Sol Ruca as a favourite before its market closed today.

Another conflict, between the BetOnline market and William Hill's, was present in the respective markets for the Undisputed WWE Championship bout.

Gunther was Hill's favourite, but Cody closed as BetOnline's chalk.

WWE Clash In Italy (2026) Betting Odds For Sunday Morning

I have been keeping tabs on the WWE Clash in Italy betting markets from BetOnline since each one has been published and, in one case, unpublished across the past few days. In today's post, I'll go through each one separately and show you how each selection's price has been moving.

I'll start with a market that has been taken off the board.

If you read Friday's post, you'd already be aware that the odds for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship match had flipped with Becky Lynch moving into favourite to get the win over her challenger - Sol Ruca.

I visited the markets a couple of times yesterday and, upon my second browse through, I noticed the firm had suspended wagering on Lynch .vs. Ruca.

As you can see, the last change I was able to capture was for Sol Ruca because she was snipped from +185 into +175.

Lynch, on the other hand, was moved up from -275 to -260.

It's the second week in succession that a Lynch .vs. Ruca match had been taken off the board by BetOnline. The oddsmakers reacted to the confusion over whether the Saturday Night's Main Event bout, from May 23rd, would be for the title or not.

Another market I focused on, in Friday's post, was the one for WWE Women's Championship match.

Betting had forced the bookmakers to slash Rhea Ripley's odds into -2,500 to retain her strap with a win over previous champ - Jade Cargill.

The market has stalled since Friday's adjustment for Ripley. A decision for her challenger is currently priced at +800.

The Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar market has been back-and-forth somewhat.

The first price change I noticed had Brock Lesnar move into -325 from -300 by Friday morning. Then, later that day Obe Femi's price was moved back into +200 from +215.

After returning to -300, Lesnar's price was down into -320 yesterday afternoon and has remained at those numbers since.

A win for Oba Femi is currently offered at +210.

There have been reports that Jacob Fatu could be injured going into the Tribal Combat match for Roman Reigns' World Heavyweight Championship.

I don't know if it's just a coincidence (because I expected Reigns to win somehow - McIntyre interference?), but - since that news began to circulate - the odds for Reigns slid from -500 into -750.

The earliest price change had Fatu move from +400 underdog into +300.

I wrote that the betting for the Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar match 'has been back-and-forth somewhat'. Well, in the case of Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship defence against Gunther betting has been a see-saw.

That's back and forth if ever I saw it.

The most recent change has witnessed Rhodes move from -120, a price he and Gunther have shared at numerous points in this betting period, into -140. That moved the challenger up to +100 underdog.

It would not surprise me if both men find themselves back at pick 'em (or close to it) by showtime.

Odds Flip In Clash In Italy Betting Market

The betting market for the Women's WWE Intercontinental Championship match, set for this weekend's WWE Clash in Italy, has flipped at BetOnline Sportsbook.

Heading into today's price change, Sol Ruca was favoured to beat titleholder - Becky Lynch. She has now been placed at +185.

Lynch, who was +200 initially, is now a -275 favourite.

Another women's title market has seen the favourite's odds tumble today.

Rhea Ripley, who started out at -800 for her defence of the Women's World Championship, has been backed into -2,500 across the week.

Ripley's challenger, Jade Cargill, is now +800.

Here are the betting favourites for tonight's broadcast of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.

The market for the six-person tag team match closed with both selections of 'Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair' and 'Jade Cargill, Michin, B-Fab' at -120 pick 'ems. The latter's price dropped from +130 today.

In this morning's post, I mentioned that BetOnline took down the Becky Lynch .vs. Sol Ruca match earlier this week. William Hill's market closed a few minutes ago with Ruca a 1/5 (-500 US) favourite.

The BetOnline Sportsbook has been accepting bets on the matches scheduled for tonight's WWE Saturday Night's Main Event show since last week.

The first couple of match markets released were for the two title bouts on the card.

When I was alerted to the existence of the WWE Intercontinental Championship market, the firm had Penta as a -800 favourite to retain his title with a win over Ethan Page (+425). From there, the odds for the challenger began to slide. Page was down to +150 within three days of wagering.

The moves in favour of Ethan Page forced the bookmakers to improve Penta's price to -200.

A couple of days later, the money appeared to have sided with Penta because he was backed into -220 and then, a day after that, -300. As a result, his challenger was moved up to +200.

The most recent adjustment once again sided with Ethan Page because his odds as the match underdog were shortened into +190. Penta is the -290 favourite.

Logan Paul and Austin Theory were -500 favourites to overcome the threat of The Street Profits (+300) when the market for the WWE Tag Team Championship match was forwarded to me a week last Tuesday.

As you can see, the champs were backed into -1,000 within a day and have stayed at that level ever since.

A win for The Street Profits will now pay out at +550.

Another tag match, set for tonight, will see former champions - The Irresistible Forces - challenge Page and Brie Bella for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

The first price drop I noticed had the challengers lowered into +135, from +200, over a few hours. That left Scream Mode (Paige and Brie Bella) to move up to -175.

By Thursday morning of this week, the champions had dipped into -180 while The Irresistible Forces moved to +140.

Upon visiting this morning, I see the challengers have slipped back into +130 while Paige and Bella return to being -175 favourites.

The returning Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab were priced at +165 when the market for the the six-person tag team match against Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair (-220) was available last week.

With WWE Women's Champion - Ripley - on the favourite team, it's understandable to see the bettors side with the heels to get the win because Rhea losing for the team could lead to a title match with either of her opponents or even partners*. Their odds have dropped into +130 over the past week.

The Ripley, Bliss and Flair selection is currently -170.

BetOnline had priced up a market for Becky Lynch .vs. Sol Ruca, but the oddsmakers priced it up with the caveat that bets would be paid out on who is the WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion at the conclusion of the match (evidently indicating they felt Ruca could win via DQ or count-out but not claim the strap).

The market was priced during a time when there was confusion over whether the bout would be for the title or not. TV indicated it wouldn't be for the strap, but advertising sent out by WWE contradicted that suggestion earlier in the week. It has since been confirmed by Becky Lynch herself, that the match is non-title.

Coincidentally, I found out the market had been taken off the board exactly one minute before Lynch's post was published.

Sol Ruca was priced at +300 when I noticed the market on Wednesday afternoon. Her selection was down into +115 by early evening before the removal later that night.

I caught Lynch move up to -155 from -500 before betting was suspended.

For what it's worth, Sol Ruca is favourite in markets here in the UK. She's currently 2/9 (-450 US) over the 3/1 (+300 US) for Becky Lynch at William Hill.

* I wrote this post before realising Rhea Ripley .vs. Jade Cargill - for the WWE Women's Championship - has been confirmed for next week's WWE Clash in Italy event. Notion still remains, though. The heels should go over with the champ on the opposite team.

Betting Odds For The May 23rd WWE Saturday Night's Main Event Published

Betting markets for next week's WWE Saturday Night's Main Event show have been published.

The BetOnline Sportsbook has priced up odds for the two bouts that have so far been added to the card which will emanate from Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Both matches are for titles.

Logan Paul and Austin Theory have been installed as -500 favourites to successfully defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against The Street Profits (+300).

Penta (-800) is set to put the WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line against one of the newest additions to the Raw roster - Ethan Page. Those looking for the challenger to pull off an upset can currently grab Page at +425.

The BetOnline Sportsbook has installed a specials market in which customers can gamble on who they believe will be unveiled as Danhausen's mystery partner in a tag match on tonight's WWE Backlash card.

There are four selections in this particular book with Danhausen's real-life friend, CM Punk, a -155 favourite to compete against The Miz and Kit Wilson.

Jelly Roll, who has been a speculated name circulating on social media over the past day or so, is a +100 second-favourite followed by Joe Hendry (+1,000) and AAA's Mr. Iguana (+1,600).

Danhausen and his tag team partner are heavy favourites to win the match. They're -5,000 while their opponents are +1,200.

WWE Backlash '26 Betting Update For Saturday Afternoon

Three of the BetOnline Sportsbook's WWE Backlash 2026 markets have been amended since this morning's update.

The most noticeable change I encountered during this afternoon's visit to the bookmaker's website has been Sami Zayn's odds to get a win over Trick Williams - in the US Championship match - having been reduced from +550 into +400.

It was the first time this market has seen some action since being installed on Wednesday.

I surmise the challenger has been backed following the closing angle on last night's Smackdown which saw Zayn blindsided during the Gingerbread Man's funeral by being attacked by Lil Yachty and the WWE US Champ.

If you read the last paragraph and found yourself asking 'what?' - don't bother.

In other changes since this morning's update, Iyo Sky has been backed into -2,000 from -1,000 for her meeting with Asuka (now +700 from +550).

Roman Reigns' price to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, with a straight up win over Jacob Fatu, has fallen in to -5,000 from -3,000 since this morning.

As a result, Fatu is now back up to +1,200 to win the strap. He was previously +800.

The stationary markets are the ones for Seth Rollins (+105) .vs. Bron Breakker (-145) and the tag team match pitting The Miz and Kit Wilson (+1,200) against Danhausen and a mystery partner (-5,000).

WWE Backlash 2026 Betting Odds Update For May 7th

The BetOnline Sportsbook has added new match markets to its coverage of this weekend's WWE Backlash event.

Now available from the betting firm is the ability to wager on the outcome of the tag team match and WWE United States Championship contest that were added to the card following last week's episode of WWE Smackdown.

Danhausen and his mystery partner have been given odds of -5,000 to get a decision against The Miz and Kit Wilson (+1,200) while the US Title market lists Trick Williams at -1,000 to go over former titleholder, Sami Zayn (+550).

The US Championship market does not have a blurb indicating it will be settled on whoever leaves as champion. That's unlike the World Heavyweight Championship offering from BetOnline which specifies that the market will be settled 'to win for Title' and that 'DQs etc do not count and will be void' which, in my opinion, is a cop out considering the other title match is not priced up similarly.

When I last wrote about the Roman Reigns .vs. Jacob Fatu contest, the challenger's odds had declined from +1,200 into +700 across a three-day period.

The market had been taken off the board by Tuesday. Upon its return, I noticed the Fatu selection had been trimmed into +400 while Reigns' odds had been pushed up to -700 from -2,000.

Sometime between yesterday evening and 12PM BST today, the champ was seemingly backed into -1,500 while Fatu has moved to +600.

With that stated - after I last covered this grudge match, Breakker's odds fell into -160 from -130. They have since drifted back up following Rollins' move into -110, from +120, between Tuesday and yesterday evening.

Fatu's Backlash Odds Shorten Again

Betting odds for Jacob Fatu to win the World Heavyweight Championship from Roman Reigns, at this weekend's WWE Backlash event, have once again shortened.

Earlier today, I published a post with the latest prices for the three match markets that are available from the BetOnline Sportsbook. I noted that the oddsmakers had snipped the challenger's odds from +1,200 into +1,000 and surmised it was a reaction to the news that Reigns appears to be no longer booked for shows leading into - and including - next month's WWE Clash of Champions event that's scheduled for Saudi Arabia.

Fatu's price to win the title (the sportsbook specifies the market will pay out on whoever is champion at the conclusion of the match) have now fallen into +700.

Roman Reigns remains the favourite to retain the strap. However, his odds are up from -4,000 to -2,000. They were as short as -5,000 before the reports broke about his impeding hiatus.

Backlash '26 Odds Update For May 4th

It has been five days since I last wrote about the WWE Backlash 2026 betting markets that are available from the BetOnline Sportsbook.

In that time, all of the markets have been adjusted in some form or fashion. In today's post, I'll bring you up to speed.

The market for the Seth Rollins versus Bron Breakker grudge match had Rollins as a +100 underdog last week. Since then, his price has shortened into -110.

BetOnline has changed the goalposts for Reigns .vs. Fatu by adding a rule/blurb that this market is for the selection 'to win the title' and that 'DQs, etc do not count and will be void'.

The earliest change sided with Reigns as the odds for him to retain the strap were lowered into -5,000 from -3,000. As a result, Fatu was placed to +1,200 from +900.

Today's adjustment, which sees Fatu lowered into +1,000, coincides with the news that Reigns is set to miss upcoming shows he had initially been booked for. I surmise some have gambled on Fatu in the hope that WWE decides to put the strap on the challenger seeing as Reigns is seemingly not in the plans for June's Night of Champions event, which remains scheduled for Saudi Arabia.

Those looking for the titleholder to still be in possession of the belt at the conclusion of this match can find Reigns at -4,000.

WWE Backlash: Tampa (2026) Betting Odds Released

The BetOnline Sportsbook has published a trio of markets for next weekend's WWE Backlash event.

I was sent an email with the prices early yesterday evening. I then checked over the markets a few hours later and all three markets, for the bouts confirmed for the show, were still showing the same odds.

Upon today's visit, I noticed one market showing differing odds.

Iyo Sky's odds to defeat Asuka have been shortened from -400 into -700. As a result, her opponent's price has increased to +400 from yesterday's +250.

The other matches announced for the show are Bron Breakker versus Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns will make first World Heavyweight Championship defence with his cousin - Jacob Fatu - as his challenger.

Rollins has been positioned as an underdog for the first bout in his feud with Breakker. He's +100 to Breakker's -140.

The main event market lists Reigns as a heavy -3,000 favourite. A decision for Fatu will pay out at +900.

WWE Backlash 2026 will emanate from Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida on Saturday May 9th.

I have revisited BetOnline's markets for night two of WWE WrestleMania 42. Half of them are still showing the same pricing as my previous update, but here's everything I can share with you.

Penta's odds to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship, in the six-pack ladder match, is now -200. That's a drop from this morning's -175. As a result, Je'Von and Rey Mysterio have been pushed upwards with the former moving to +140 from +130 and Mysterio rising to +750 from +650. The rest of the field - Dragon Lee (+1,200), Rusev (+1,400) and JD McDonagh (+1,600) are unchanged
Oba Femi has been kept as a -350 fave for the opener against Brock Lesnar (+225)
WWE US Champion - Sami Zayn - is now down into +325, from +350, for his defence against Trick Williams. The challenger remains a favourite, but his odds have been moved up to -550 from -600
The Finn Balor (-2,000) .vs. Dominik Mysterio (+700) market remains stationary
Rhea Ripley's price to beat Jade Cargill, in the WWE Women's Championship match, has dipped into -200 from -230. The champ has now risen to +160 from +150

WrestleMania 42 Betting Lines For Sunday Morning

We're now half-way through WrestleMania weekend. There are still six betting markets to keep track of, so here goes.

Oba Femi is a -350 favourite to beat Brock Lesnar (+225) in tonight's opener.

As you'll see, in the table immediately below, the two most recent price changes I've caught sided with Lesnar. His selection fell from +250 into +225 in the hour leading into night one.

With Lesnar's price moved in, the bookmaker moved Oba Femi up from -400.

The market for the six-pack ladder match had one change in the hour leading into night one. It saw Dragon Lee's price snipped from +1,600 into +1,000.

Lee has since moved up to +1,200.

Dragon Lee's drift seems to have been caused by punters siding with Penta to retain his title. The favourite is now -175 from -160.

Other wrestlers with longer odds compared with yesterday's lines are Je'Von Evans (+130 from +120), and Rey Mysterio (now +650 from +550).

Rusev and JD McDonagh have stalled at +1,400 and +1,600 respectively.

'The Demon' Finn Balor has been kept at a heavy -2,000 to beat Dominik Mysterio (+700).

Rhea Ripley's price to defeat WWE Women's Champion - Jade Cargill - was lowered from -180 into -200 leading into night one.

The move resulted in the sportsbook placing Cargill up from +140 to +150.

The WWE United States Championship market was changed as the first hour of night one was close to its midpoint.

As you can see, BetOnline appeared to have had more action in on Trick Williams to beat the Sami Zayn.

The challengers' odds were shortened from -500 into -600 in this period. Zayn has since been moved to +350 from the previous number of +300.

There have been back-and-forth price changes since I last published an update about CM Punk's World Heavyweight Championship defence against Roman Reigns.

Sometime after I published yesterday evening's post, but before 9:05PM BST, Punk's odds dipped from +215 into +200. That pushed Reigns' price, as favourite, to -300 from -325.

The latest change sees Reigns into -350 while Punk has been placed at +225.

As usual, I intend to make regular visits to the website during the day and will post at least a couple of updates as we all lead in to the show.

Happy WrestleMania Weekend!

I'm in the midst of watching last night's episode of WWE Smackdown as I write this post, so please excuse anything I might appear to have missed as you read along.

As usual, I'm going to publish the tables for all of the Mania match and point out any price adjustments that have occurred since yesterday's update.

I'll start with a market for a match I had partial information on.

Last night, it was reported that Paige had re-signed with World Wrestling Entertainment and could potentially be Nikki Bella's replacement in the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship four-way.

Nikki was touch-and-go for this match due to an ankle injury. It looks like she couldn't get cleared in time and thus paves the way for Paige to make her return after last wrestling inside a WWE ring in 2017. She was most recently part of AEW's roster after being cleared to resume her career.

The market for this bout is off the board at the time of writing. I'm unaware if Bella being ruled out has been addressed on TV yet. I do know the market is still available in markets here in the UK with the Bella Twins still active selections.

Jacob Fatu is now a -1,000 favourite to beat Drew McIntyre in their unsanctioned match. His price was previously -900.

The movement in favour of Fatu sees McIntyre up to +550 from +500.

Gunther is now a -700 fave to get a win over Seth Rollins (+400). That's down from yesterday's -650. Rollins had been +375 before moving to his current line.

The odds for The Vision and IShowSpeed to defeat The Usos and LA Knight in tonight's opener have tumbled into +135 from +300 since yesterday afternoon.

As you can see, the underdogs'' price has been on a decline - from +550 - since last weekend. Added into the equation is an angle played out on a podcast which saw Jey Uso and rapper - Cam'ron - get into a fight.

I surmise some have gambled on The Vision and IShowSpeed under the belief that Cam'ron will be the cause of The Uso and LA Knight's defeat.

Randy Orton is now a -400 favourite to beat Undisputed WWE Champion - Cody Rhodes - in tonight's main event.

The challenger was previously -350 to Rhodes' +225. The champ is now +250.

Remember when I wrote about reading reports that Paige potentially returning to WWE for the fatal four-way tag match? Well - a couple of social media replies to those reports threw out an idea where Paige should come back following the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship as a nod to her main roster debut from the Raw after WrestleMania XXX when Paige came out and became WWE Divas Champion following an impromptu match-up with AJ Lee.

It was mere fan speculation regarding a similar scenario playing out tonight, but - for such a thing to occur - it would mean AJ Lee would have to beat Becky Lynch to retain her title.

With all that stated, I wonder - could Lee's dip from +325 into +300 be the result of a speculative punt?

Becky Lynch remains the favourite to regain the strap. However, the challenger's odds have risen from -550 to -475 overnight.

The market for the Women's World Championship still shows Liv Morgan as a -600 fave. A decision for Stephanie Vaquer to retain her title with a win is +350.

Speaking of retaining, we have the first market for act two.

Penta is now -160 to still be WWE Intercontinental Championship once the dust settles on this six-pack ladder match on Sunday night. The titleholder was most recently -150. The newest addition to the match, Rey Mysterio, is now +550 from +500.

Their opponents - Je'Von Evans (+120), Rusev (+1,400), Dragon Lee (+1,600) and JD McDonagh (+1,600) have stayed at their respective prices from yesterday.

The market for what I, and many more, consider to be the most anticipated match for this year's WrestleMania remains stationary since it was last adjusted during the middle of this week.

Oba Femi is a -300 favourite over Brock Lesnar (+200). It's worth noting that the majority of adjustments have sided with Brock Lesnar and that's likely because, on paper, the build has been somewhat one-sided in favour of Oba Femi.

I get why the punters have opted for an upset, but I feel that - with this bout being featured on regular ESPN, and with the attention it should garner - Oba Femi should go over.

Trick Williams is now a -400 favourite, from -325, to get a win against WWE US Champion - Sami Zayn.

The titleholder is now +250 from +215. As you'll see in the table, there was a point - earlier this week - when Zayn was favoured.

'The Demon' Finn Balor remains a heavy -2,000 favourite to get a win over Dominik Mysterio (+700) in their grudge match.

WWE Women's Champion - Jade Cargill - has dipped from +275 into +250 for her defence against 2026 Women's Elimination Chamber winner, Rhea Ripley.

Ripley remains a favourite, but her price has increased from -450 to -400 following the adjustment which sided with Cargill.

The most recent change, in the market for Sunday's main event, has seen CM Punk's price - to successfully retain the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns - dip from +170 into +160.

Reigns, who was backed from -220 into -250 yesterday, is now up to -225.

I visited BetOnline's WWE WrestleMania 42 match markets this afternoon. Unsurprisingly, there have been a handful of adjustments since I last wrote about them yesterday afternoon.

In this post, I'll share all the notes I've made and - for those checking in for the first time this Mania betting period - I'll share all of my tables, showing each adjustment I've been able to record, below.

Jacob Fatu is now -900, from -850, to defeat Drew McIntyre in the unsanctioned a match. McIntyre has moved up to +500 from +450
The oddsmakers have kept Seth Rollins as a +375 underdog for his match with Gunther. However, the favourite has slid into -650 from -625

There have been changes, and brand new markets, made to BetOnline's coverage of WWE WrestleMania since last night's update.

First, the sportsbook has published a plethora of specials. I'll get to those in due course. For now, I'll share with you all of the price changes I've noted for the regular match winner markets.

Jacob Fatu has moved from -700 into -850 for the unsanctioned match against Drew McIntyre. A decision for the latter is now being offered at +450. That's up from the previous price of +400

There are a couple of Over-Under markets as well.

In the first, the sportsbook asks 'how many referees will be accidentally hit during the matches?' The line has been set at 2.5 refs. As of the time of writing, both 'Over' and 'Under' are -120 pick 'ems.

The second O-U market asks for customers to bet on the number of title changes that accumulate over the two-night event. The line is 4.5 titles with the 'Under' currently favoured at odds of -130. Those looking for the number to beat the line can find 'Over' at -110.

Zayn And Williams At Pick 'Em In Mania 42 Betting Plus More

The betting market for Sami Zayn's WWE United States Championship defence against Trick Williams, set for this Sunday's portion of WrestleMania 42. currently lists both selections at -120 pick 'ems.

BetOnline's market has been active at this early stage of WrestleMania week.

In one of yesterday's updates, I noted the two wrestlers had flipped positions, from a betting perspective, with Zayn becoming a favourite while Williams' odds were pushed up from -200 to +135.

I followed that up, in last night's post, noting that Williams had been backed into +110. The challenger has evidently seen more action to have dropped into -120.

Zayn's rise to -120 began yesterday when, after initially falling into favouritism, his odds drifted from -175 to -150.

That isn't the only market showing changes since my previous visits to the BetOnline website.

Gamblers appear to be backing The Vision and IShowSpeed to win the initial match of the weekend when they take on The Usos and LA Knight in a trios match.

As of 6PM BST today, Logan Paul, Austin Theory and IShowSpeed were +400 underdogs for Saturday's opener. The team have been on a decline from odds of +550 since Sunday.

With the underdogs' price lowering, The Usos and LA Knight have drifted from -1,000 to -700 across this week.

The rest of BetOnline's Mania 42 markets are showing the same pricing as last night.

Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar is the WrestleMania 42 match which has garnered the most interest from people on the X social media platform leading into this weekend's pro wrestling extravaganza.

That is the findings from the people at BetOnline, who have carried out research to rank all of the matches on the Mania 42 card using over 142,000 posts published on X since the start of this month.

Femi versus Lesnar was the most talked about contest with 31% of the results. Surprisingly, Seth Rollins .vs. Gunther and the ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship are second and third - with respective percentages of 16% and 11% - before the list reaches what will be the overall main event - Sunday's clash between World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, and his challenger - Roman Reigns.

The Punk versus Reigns contest had 9.6% of the breakdown. It is ahead of the Women's World Championship match (7.5%) and the now controversial Undisputed WWE Championship clash between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton (7%).

I was not surprised to see Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar at the top of this graph. In my opinion, it has been the best built match on the Road to WrestleMania.

With that said, I am somewhat stunned to see Gunther .vs. Seth Rollins, and even the ladder match, ahead of Punk versus Reigns and Rhodes .vs. Orton.

The only reasoning I can think of is to point to the date the research began. April 1st was a couple of days after Gunther attacked Seth Rollins on the Raw from Madison Square Garden to set up their WrestleMania involvement. I surmise that enough people would have been talking about that stunning turn of events, considering Rollins - on paper - looked locked into a battle with a healthy member of The Vision before the attack from The Ring General.

I don't know if my theory holds much water when another big angle from early April is factored into the equation.

I'm stunned that Pat McAfee's introduction to the Rhodes/Orton feud, as well as his back-and-forth barbs with CM Punk (therefore making people talk about Punk/Reigns), has seemingly not impacted this graph.

McAfeee has been the talk of the industry, both positive but more negatively, since his heel turn. I would have expected that alone to have beefed up the percentages for the two main events.
