We recently have been big fans of Nashville, TN emcee, S.T.A.N. After catching a few bars from STAN at a Sneakers x Speakers Cypher. From his heavy punchlines to the calm yet charismatic approach of each bar, it is apparent that talent is an understatement. We recently checked out a new visual titled Reality Rap, which is set to be on the debut mixtape of S.T.A.N. titled Sober Nights. Time for some more UK talent! Tottenham based rapper / singer London Ivy teams up with Wizzy Wow to present his brand new single 'Everybody Clap'.

During his early teens, Ivy formed part of various musical groups and crews, aligning himself with the likes of recent Universal Records signing Random Impulse, Wretch 32, D Dark, Frisco, Tippaly, Caps, Shocka (now a member of Marvel), Calibar and many other local rappers and artists. As a member of the revered music group Combo Chain Gang, Ivy dominated local pirate station 'Heat FM', collaborated with the likes of Ghetts and Scorcher, and appeared on several prolific DVD releases alongside international rap stars including the infamous Rick Ross.

Following his departure from Combo Chain Gang and the ensuing mainstream solo success of previous member Wretch 32, Ivy went on to form his current imprint, 'R.O.S.E Music Group', alongside longtime friends and business partners Wizzy Wow, Tippaly, Makesa Malen and Shimmy Styles. Under this new imprint, Ivy released his critically acclaimed mixtape 'The CrossOver', and collaborated on various records alongside Wizzy Wow and Disturbing London rapper GFrSH. 2011 also saw Ivy partner with a close relative to launch his clothing line 'Cloud 9', which forms the final piece of his varied creative jigsaw.

With everything finally in place for London Ivy to push for mainstream success, he celebrates the beginning of 2012 by teaming up with longtime cohort Wizzy Wow and producer Nutty P to showcase 'Everybody Clap' - the first of many major releases due from Ivy this year. Featuring customarily hit-worthy production from Nutty P, the sheer polish of the single's musical backdrop is epitomised by the vocoded vocal lines and crunchy synthesizer melodies which form the track's backbone. Ivy, as expected, rides the beat with well rehearsed ease, and delivers a composed vocal performance filled with tongue in cheek bravado and intelligent wordplay. The single is wrapped up by a refreshingly memorable chorus, giving Ivy's debut major release a solid chance of crossing over into the playing field of mainstream music, whilst staying true to it's roots as a product of the music scene grown in the streets of North London. 'Everybody Clap' is released in anticipation of London Ivy's forthcoming mixtape 'L.O.L (Life Of London)' and follow up EP 'Love x 1Hunids', which are scheduled for release this Spring.

On yesterday, February 18, Nashville TN lost a true impacting soul to Music City, Curtis "Scooby" Senior. Scooby was a well connected individual who, to some, was a lively radio personality, but to many a friend, brother, son, and uncle. We take time out to share our appreciation for all that Dolewite & Scooby has done for 2lsonacloud and the city of Nashville, may Curtis rest in peace.
