My first magazine subscription at ten years-old, was Gourmet magazine.Â My mother, a single parent thought it would be a great way for us to bond over food and culture as she instilled in me that food isn’t just for eating, but enjoying.Â Although I can’t remember the first meal we made together, it was more about the preparation of the meals and the total appreciation for those who toil in kitchens around the world for those unseen guests just beyond the kitchen door.Â I have for the past five years debated my mother on the diminishing “safe” corporate job, as she is stuck in the eighties as to my career path as a college graduate.Â I had a slew of friends that got wiped out at Arthur Anderson and most recently some at Saturn, and few others at different companies across different industries, there are fewer places than ever before that are safe/have massive longevity.Â It is just a realistic part of our times, as sad as it may be.Â My prayers go out to all that have shown professionalism, dedication, and passion, in pursuit of sharing their lives with not only me, but countless others.Â Read

A one-time sign of love and affection from ex-husband, Nick Lachey to former wife, Jessica Simpson, a female Malitpoo named Daisy, has unfortunately met an untimely death from a hungry coyote.Â Although I am unsure of the location in Southern California, supposedly she was out for a walk when her dog was snatched by a coyote, and I assumed she had the dog on a leash, but that may have not been the case.Â Even when I take my dog out for a walk he has on a harness with a leash, so there would be a fight!!Â I can empathize with the shock and pain of the entire event, but with increasing coyote and mountain lion encroachment into neighborhoods, it would be wise to have some kind of stick, machete, knife, pepper spray, or something to attack the attacker.Â But what is most baffling is that she posted a missing sign on her twitter page, how is this dog missing?Â The little angel is in the lower GI Tract of the coyote or coyotes, unless the Maltipoo is part pitbull and managed to not only get away but kill the coyote.Â Not likely.Â Someone needs talk with Jessica and give her a very hard reality check.

Beauty with limited brain capacity, this could be said about a lot of people but Jessica Simpson is the target today.Â What comes around goes around is a saying that is true for good and bad in our lives, so if you look at the history of this woman, there is some measure of truth to it.Â Her first relationship/marriage to Nick Lachey, he knows that she is not the sharpest knife in drawer but he totally loves her and she cheats on him one, two, maybe even three times and then kicks Nick to the curb knowing that she can do better than him.Â She then goes on to puppy dog John Mayer, following him and doing his every bidding, it looks like it could have some potential, but John grows bored with her after a while and dumps her, probably knowing that her “simplicity” cannot be overlooked when it comes to marriage or having a child.Â Then she moves on to the cute and popular quarterback Tony Romo, also looks as though he is willing to see where it goes, but Papa Joe’s interference causes some major issues.Â Why?Â Because Jessica hasn’t grown up, she is only older, and she doesn’t keep her father out of her personal affairs, pobrecita!Â So we get back and forth between Jessica and Tony as she also pushes the idea of marriage, a definite no no, while also getting questionable texts from John Mayer.Â Tony finds the email and dumps her soon there after.Â Her ex-husband breaks up with his girlfriend Vanessa Manillafolders and Jessica tries to get Nick to go out with her, really as if dumbass?!!Â Nick shoots her down and reunites with Vanessa, and now the wildly insecure Simpson goes back for comfort in the crotch of John Mayer.Â Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Simpson for coddling your daughter at every turn in her life and fracturing her self-esteem, kudos!Â Let’s see, while the less talented and less prettier younger sister is not only married, but has a child, and is secretly shaking her head in pity towards her sister.Â Jessica will only find strength and start making better decisions for herself when she decides to get her head out of her ass and grow up.Â Read
