We opened for rental on August 3, 2012

Describe your products / services
Our Storage Facility is state of the art with an on site command center and 24hr video monitoring. We have electronic controlled access complete with motion sensor exterior lighting, 100% concrete paved, fenced with an electronic gate.

What do you do, product, service or philosophy, which differentiates you from your competitors?
We offer 12 different sized units from 5’ x10’ up to 15’ x 50’, designed to meet customer storage needs. Many units have wider and higher doors than our competitors. Concrete aisles are double wide to make storing access easier.

How did you get interested and/or started in this business?
We saw a need in the Janesville and surrounding area market for storage of items of personal value. We chose a location that was easily accessible for individuals and businesses, water enthusiasts and near snowmobile trails.

What kind of training or background do you have?
I have over 30 years of experience in customer service and sales, we have received extensive training on video and electronic monitoring.

What have you learned from this business?
We not only need to offer the best facility available but continue to provide services our customers demand.

What are your future plans for your business?
We are expanding services for our rental customers such as wheeled dollys, pallet jacks, etc to aid them in storing. We look forward to future growth in our location.

What or who has had the most influence in the way you do business?
Our clients have influenced us- they deserve and receive top quality service and products that we personally expect. We listen to customer concerns thus we now have larger units for boat, RV storage.

Do you have a favorite saying that applies to your business?
SECURITY is the KEY

What have been some of the challenges you’ve faced and how did you work them out?
The weather this summer was rough on our contractors, we had to work with the direction of the sun! Midway through construction, we realized that we needed to complete a 4th building right away as those larger units were important to our rental base. We delayed opening the entire facility until all areas were ready to go with our Security Standards.

What do you find most rewarding about this type of work?
We strive to answer the needs of residents in our area and want to build lasting relationships with our clients. It was rewarding working with so many local contractors!

What type of customer uses your products / services?
Our customer is anyone that values the items they are storing and desire the security we have available to them.

CONTEST RULES
1. The object of the Contest is to showcase a Pet that has caused chaos or damage to any area of the home, including furnishings. Entry must also submit short description of the specific pets’ “crime.”

2. Entry of the Photo in the Contest must be authorized by the OWNER/PARENT/RELATIVE/FRIEND of thePet Photo (the “Consent”). The Entrant will be required to submit the Consent to McCann Floors upon request.

3. Limit of one photo submission per Pet Photo.

4. The Photo must be in natural color or black and white.

5. Photos that have been altered, manipulated or enhanced using computer software programs will not be accepted. Minor adjustments to the Photo such as lightening or darkening areas of the Photo, slight contrast or color adjustments and cropping are acceptable. If The Gazette and/or McCann Floors determines a Photo has been altered, manipulated or enhanced, The Gazette and/or McCann Floors reserves the right to reject the Photo.

6. By entering the Contest, Entrant represents, acknowledges and warrants that the submitted Photo is an original work created solely by the Entrant, that the Photo does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the Photo.

VOTING PHASE

Members of the general public will be invited to view the Photos by going to the Website to vote for Pet Photo. Voting will take place July 23, 2012- August 5, 2012 through 11:59 p.m. CST. Voting is limited to persons eighteen (18) years of age or older. The use of any automated system to submit Votes is prohibited and will result in disqualification of the Votes. The Gazette and/or McCann Floors will not be responsible for misdirected Votes. Entrants are prohibited from obtaining Votes by any fraudulent or inappropriate means, including, without limitation, offering prizes or other inducements to members of the public, as determined by The Gazette in its sole discretion.

WINNING PHOTO

At the conclusion of the Voting Phase, the Photo to receive the highest number of Votes will be declared the winning Photo. In the event of a tie, a random drawing among the tied Photos will be conducted by The Gazette to determine the winning Photo.

The OWNER/PARENT/RELATIVE/FRIEND that submitted the photo will be awarded the prize based on number of vote (First Prize Voters Choice: $500 McCann Floors Gift Certificate, Runner-Up Voters Choice: $250 McCann Floors Gift Certificate, Additional Prize McCann Floors Choice: $100 McCann Floors Gift Certificate.) About Independence Day on the Rock

Independence Day on the Rock is a one-day celebration of our nation's independence. This community event will be held at Traxler Park in Janesville, Wisconsin on Monday, July 4, 2011.

Activities will include a garden tractor pull, Taste of Janesville (food vendors), inflatable jump houses for the kids, idol contest, "anything that floats" race, beer tent, band, and water ski show. The festivities will conclude with a fireworks display over the Rock River.

The event is being coordinated and hosted by the Rock Aqua Jays Water Ski Show Team. The Rock Aqua Jays have been a mainstay in Janesville for 50 years with a solid reputation for producing successful events including the National Water Ski Show Tournament, Mercury Marine Open Tournament, and Fright Factory haunted house. The Rock Aqua Jays Water Ski Club, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that performs twice-weekly free water ski shows from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The team uses its shows as a platform for educating its members and the general public about safe boating and water-skiing techniques.

In his debut appearance, Captain United (aka professional wrestler IRISH Andy Anderson) will face-off with eight other nationally known opponents on the evening of April 16 at the Elkhorn Area High School Gymnasium in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

All proceeds will go to benefit United Way's efforts in Walworth County. This is a clean, fun, family event for adults and children of all ages.
