Dear Animation fans, our free iPhone and online Animation Creation tool has been upgraded to produce longer, bigger and prettier animations. First, the maximum animation file size has been doubled to 200KB. This means that you can add more frames to your animations without reducing resolutions. Second, we now add a white background and center all your photos. So now you can submit photos of any size and still produce pretty looking animation.

iOS4 is killing txtAgif :( Sudden death app

If you have upgraded your iPhone OS to the new iOS4, you may experience a sudden exit when using txtAgif app. iOS4 has changed something is killing txtAgif :(

After selecting an animation for the list, you will see the details for the animation. Then tap on Related or Show More By to view another list of related animations. When you tap on the back button to go back to the previous page, the app will suddenly quit. This is a small but irritating bug. We are now investigating and will fix this in our new version for iOS4. Otherwise, txtAgif works fine in iOS4 and you can still continue to get your "animation" fix.

Our new version (which should be out soon) will take advantage of the new features available in iOS4, e.g. fast-app switching. It will make txtAgif even better!

BTW, we now have 5000+ animations in txtAgif. Wow! Next target 10,000 animations.

Improved GUI to see more animations with one tap. New version 6 is out.

Just updated txtAgif to version 6. The interface has been improved to make it easier for you to see more animations in different ways. You see top animations for today, this week or this month. You can animations that were just messaged, uploaded or featured. In addition, you can easily view and delete your own animations and favorites.

An outrageous situation has happened. In AppStore, we found 2 competitive apps in the Top Paid Apps list for the social networking category. These 2 paid apps do not have as many features as txtAgif. In fact, txtAgif provides what they have and more. Plus, our app is FREE! Yes, like free lunch/beer.

It is ridiculous that a free and better app is losing out to these paid apps. Dear iPhone owners, please be aware that you do not need to pay. Use free app txtAgif to get animations for your MMS, Emails and Tweets. You can even upload your own animations to txtAgif.

What does this tap do in txtAgif for iPhone?

Morning class, today we shall learn the function of each tab in our popular iPhone app. Here we go:

1. What's Hot - This tab shows you the pictures that were recently messaged (via MMS, Email or Tweet) by txtAgif users. This list updates in real-time. This way, you will know what pictures are hot right now :)

2. Genius - This feature recommends animated pix you'll love. All automatically. You will discover pictures you never know in our huge collection. You can tap on the Refresh button (located at the top right-hand corner) to get new recommendations.

3. Top MMS - Shows the most messaged pictures. You can filter this list by time.

4. Top Rated - Shows the top rated pictures. You can rate any and all pix in txtAgif.

5. Featured - We regularly select pictures to feature in this tab based on our theme of the week/month. Themes like Valentine, St Patrick's Day, April Fool, etc.

6. Most Recent - Shows pix that have been recently uploaded by users.

7. Favorites - This is your favorite animated picture list. If you like a pix, you can add it to your favorites for easy access. To use this feature, you need to get a free account at our website www.txtAgif.com.

8. Search - Search our huge collection of pix by keywords. For example, search for 'birthday' to get pix for a birthday greeting MMS.

9. Upload - You can upload your own animated picture at www.txtAgif.com. In addition, you can create a new animated pix from your photos using our online Create tool. (FYI, we plan to enable upload inside our app.)

In conclusion, you have at your disposal many ways to explore our huge pix collection and get the right animated picture for your message.

txtAgif tip: Editing the tab bar to show what you need

Dear class, this is another lesson to help you get your animated pictures faster in our free iPhone app. As you know we have provided many ways for you to view our huge picture collection. Therefore, there are 8 different tabs in our iPhone app for you to choose. Tapping on More will show you the other tabs that are not visible on your tab bar.

You can edit your tab bar setup to arrange the order these 8 tabs are shown. Tap on More and then the Edit button to start editing. For example, you can move the Favorites tab to be the first visible tab if you need quick single-tap access to your favorite pictures.
