Performance wise, this particular gaming console offers only the best. From the graphics it offers to the gaming experience, you will see that this video gaming console can satisfy even the most discriminating gamers out there.

However, although the Xbox 360 is one amazing video game console, there are problems that are commonly associated with it. By knowing about the common problems that people experiences with Xbox 360, you will be able to know if you are also experiencing it and also let you know if it can be repaired or not.

The hardware problems associated with Xbox 360 can range from DVD drive problems to red light error problems. In most cases, there are basically 3 types of light problems that you will notice on your Xbox 360.

When you see a green light, it will mean that it is operating normally. However, if you see red lights, then it will indicate that the Xbox 360 has a problem.

1 red light error will mean E74 error, the 2 red light error will mean overheating and the 3 red light error means general hardware failure.

The main problems on the Xbox 360 will be shown as red lights on the power button when you switch on your gaming console.

If you see 1 red light, an error message on the screen will also usually appear. The 1 red light error will mean the E74 error. This error basically means that the scaler chip has burnt out. The scaler chip is responsible for dealing with the graphical capabilities of your Xbox 360 games. If you have this error, it is wise to call the support center for your Xbox 360 and let them know about it. There is a good chance that they will let you ship the Xbox 360 back to be repaired.

If you see 2 red lights on the power button, then it will mean that your Xbox 360 is overheating. You can easily solve this by turning off your video gaming console, and let it cool down for a while. However, you might also want to try and prevent overheating as this can cause hardware failure or the red ring of death or also called the 3 red light error.

Try to clean your Xbox 360 inside and out if it overheats. This will get the dust out of your gaming console and prevent it from overheating. Also, try to play with your Xbox 360 games with the Xbox 360 gaming console out in a well-ventilated area.

For the 3 red light error, it will mean that you have a serious problem with your Xbox 360. This will mean that your Xbox 360 suffered from general hardware failure and will need you to ship it to Microsoft to get it repaired.

You will also see 4 red lights. This is not really something to worry about as it may only be the AV cable not being properly plugged in. Double check your AV cable and it will usually work.

For the DVD drive error or when your Xbox 360 is not able to read your Xbox game discs, you will see that this problem is basically caused by overheating. For this problem, you need to get Microsoft to fix it by shipping the unit back to them.

These are some of the common problems experienced with the Xbox 360. With proper care and maintenance, you will be able to prevent experiencing the mentioned problems and continue enjoying your favorite Xbox 360 games.

Protect Your Xbox 360 from the Dreaded Red Rings of Death

About a third of all Xbox 360 gamers have experienced the dreaded red rings of death. Because of this, it produced a negative impact on the Xbox 360, which made the sales drop and also made Microsoft extend the warranty of their Xbox 360.

The Xbox 360 is a fantastic video gaming console. It still is and the dreaded red rings of death shouldn’t happen at all if you just follow these simple tips.

Basically, the red rings of death mean that the Xbox 360 has suffered a general hardware failure. This means that the GPU or the CPU have burned out. This basically means that your system overheated and it burned the GPU or the CPU. With this kind of damage, you will eventually need to send your Xbox 360 back to Microsoft for repairs and spend hundreds of dollars for shipping and packaging.

So, the best way to fix this problem is by preventing it from happening at all. To prevent this, you will need to prevent the root of the problem which is overheating.

Basically, people tend to keep their Xbox and operate it inside the display cabinet. You need to remember that display cabinets are enclosed space and the Xbox 360 is a high performance machines that generates a lot of heat.

The display cabinet can make things neat for you but it can eventually make your Xbox 360 to overheat. So, you might want to settle for playing with your Xbox 360 out in the open with the wires dangling and all.

Playing with the Xbox 360 out in the open will keep your Xbox 360 well-ventilated and cool. So, this will be able to prevent overheating.

Another reason why the Xbox 360 may overheat is because of the accumulation of dust. You have to remember that dust can clog up the vents that let air in and out of the Xbox 360. Also, the dust can build up on the Xbox 360 cooling systems, such as the fans. This will make the fans inefficient and even make the entire cooling systems of the Xbox 360 stop working altogether.

Also, if you can, you may want to try playing with the Xbox 360 in an air conditioned room. This will keep your Xbox 360 cool and avoid it from overheating.

These are the things that you have to remember about the Xbox 360. You need to keep in mind that overheating causes general hardware failure, which causes the red rings of death. By keeping your Xbox 360 cool, you will be able to prevent the red rings of death and prevent shipping it back to Microsoft and take a 6 week vacation without the Xbox 360.

Also, it will prevent you from purchasing repair guides that you know that you wouldn’t even understand at all.

Remember these things and you will be able to keep on playing with your Xbox 360 games by preventing the red rings of death error.

So, the next time you play with your favorite Xbox 360 games, you have to remember to keep it cool by playing with the games with the unit out in a well-ventilated area as well as regularly cleaning it and keeping it free from dust. With these tips in mind, you will be able to maintain your Xbox 360 and let you enjoy playing with your favorite Xbox 360 games.

Freezing Xbox 360: A Plague for Serious Xbox 360 Gamers

Imagine playing with your favorite Xbox 360 game when it suddenly freezes while you are in the middle of your game. This can be quite a shocker but what would really shock you is that a third of Xbox 360 owners also experience this kind of problem and they also have no idea what causes it and why a state of the art gaming machine suddenly freezes or crashes.

Although there is a warranty provided by Microsoft, you need to consider that it can be a real hassle to ship it back to Microsoft, wait for it to get repaired and also wait for it to be shipped back to you only to experience it to freeze and crash after a few months of playing.

Today, you will see that there are quite a lot of Xbox 360 repair guides circulating the internet. And, it is quite popular among a lot of Xbox 360 gamers.

First of all, there are basically two common problems that cause the Xbox 360 to freeze or crash. The first is too many computations at once. For example, if you play on for hours with four players playing the same game at the same time, then you are asking quite a lot from your Xbox 360. As time passes, it stresses out the system and will eventually overheat and shut down. All types of devices do this when it is pushed to the limit.

This is not really a serious problem as you can easily solve this problem by turning off your Xbox 360 and let it cool down for a few hours. Also, you need to place it in a well ventilated area. You can also try placing a towel in the freezer for a few minutes then wrap it around the console. However, you need to remember that overheating may be a sign of a far more serious problem, which will take you to the second cause of freezes and crashes.

Internal hardware burning up is another cause of the crashes and freezes. This is due to faulty cooling systems in the unit. For this problem, you can try sending it back to Microsoft and get it repaired. But, if you have a bit of technical know-how and you also have a few hours to spare as well as the needed tools to repair electronic equipments, then you will be able to repair your Xbox 360 yourself.

Today, there are quite a lot of repair guides with video and picture guides included that will be able to help you repair your Xbox 360. The red rings of death can also be solved. In fact, most guides will be able to teach you how to repair your Xbox 360 in just under an hour.

However, you need to be careful whenever you repair your Xbox 360 by yourself. If you do this, it will void the warranty and there is always the chance that you may mess up while repairing it. So, unless you are skilled in electronics and you know what you are doing, never attempt to repair the Xbox 360 gaming console by yourself.

Instead, try sending it back to Microsoft and get it repaired by professional technicians who know about Xbox 360 and how to repair it.

The Solution for an Overheating Xbox 360

Xbox 360 is one of the hottest selling video gaming consoles today. Besides, this console offers a huge library of games and more. However, it has been found that overheating is one of the problems plaguing the Xbox 360 today. If you experience freezing or crashing while you are playing with your favorite Xbox 360 games, then there is a great chance that it was caused by overheating.

Basically, you need to understand that the hardware inside the Xbox 360, such as the GPU, CPU and hard drive can produce heat after long periods of hours of operation. However, in theory, overheating shouldn’t happen as these components have their own cooling system that will be able to prevent overheating.

If you experience crashing or freezing while playing with your favorite Xbox 360 games, try feeling the Xbox 360 for any hot areas. If the Xbox itself is way hotter than normal, then the problem may lie with an overheated hard drive. The power unit can also overheat and you might want to try feeling it too.

Theoretically, Microsoft claims that the Xbox 360 shouldn’t overheat because of the built-in cooling systems. The cooling systems are basically fans that can take cool air inside the unit and hot air out. However, the fans are not really that sufficient in order to keep the Xbox 360 cool enough and prevent it from overheating. It's not really about an issue of substandard fans, but the owners of the Xbox 360 are also to blame for it.

Most people today like keeping their Xbox 360 in a display cabinet below or above their television. This is a big no-no as keeping the Xbox 360 in confined spaces will prevent it from getting cool air. In fact, it will trap in the hot air which will cause the Xbox 360 components to overheat.

So, try playing with your Xbox 360 games with the Xbox 360 console placed on a well-ventilated area, such as on your coffee table. Also, if it is possible, try playing with your Xbox 360 in an air conditioned room. This will help in maintaining the temperature of your Xbox 360 and prevent it from overheating.

Dust is another cause of overheating. In time, dust can accumulate inside the Xbox 360 and can eventually accumulate on the fans that keep the hardware cool. When the fans clog up with dust, it will become inefficient in doing its job. It may also stop working altogether which can eventually result in hardware failure.

So, from time to time, try to clean the insides of your Xbox 360 including the fans. For this, you can use a non-static brush or you can also try spraying a contact cleaner which is very efficient in getting rid of dust on electronic equipments.

If you really want to prevent overheating, try limiting the amount of time you use your Xbox 360.

Would you like to know more? This is when 3 of the 4 normally green lights turn red when you power up the console. The Xbox 360’s 3 red lights signify that a general hardware failure has occurred, and that the machine is completely inoperable.

I feel like somewhat of an expert on this subject now, following my own run-in with the 3 red lights on my own Xbox 360 a few weeks ago. And when you consider that as many as 35% of all Xbox 360s will fail at some point in their lives, there must be thousands more like me out there.

The reason I’m writing about it is that I think I may have stumbled onto something other people in my position may find very useful.

I was running a search on Google for the Xbox 360 3 red lights, and while I was sifting my way through the mostly unhelpful results, I found The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition. It immediately struck me as something different, mainly because the developers offered a guarantee that within 2 hours I would be able to get rid of the Xbox 360 3 red lights.

None of the other websites I investigated had such confidence, so I looked a little deeper.

I also noticed that The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition was accompanied by comprehensive video tutorials, which visually demonstrated every step of the fix to rid your Xbox 360 of those 3 red lights.
The more I read, the more convinced I became. So I tried it for myself. I probably wouldn’t have, but with the guarantee that it would work within 2 hours, what did I have to lose?

Anyway, I went for it, tried it, and guess what? Yep, my Xbox 360’s 3 red lights are history. And just like the developers of The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition promised, they were gone within 2 hours and I was back to my gaming.

When you consider the alternatives to The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition (performing dangerous self-fixes with soldering irons, waiting 8 weeks for Microsoft to return your console, etc.) the choice seems simple.

If you want to rid your Xbox 360 of those 3 red lights and be gaming again in less than two hours, I highly recommend you do just what I did – try The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition. If it doesn’t work, you have the guarantee to fall back on. Surely it’s worth a shot, when you consider the crappy alternatives. I’ve had my console since launch day a couple of years ago, and it’s always worked fine. Then a last week, without warning, it just died on me. I know plenty of other people who’ve had it happen to them, so it wasn’t a complete surprise. But that doesn’t make it any easier to accept.

Obviously my warranty’s expired, so it was no good going to Microsoft to fix my Xbox 360. I found out they’d do it, but it would end up costing me something like $140 to get it done. And that doesn’t even include shipping. Anyway, they told me it would take up to 8 weeks to get back to me, and I just didn’t want to be without it for that long.

So that’s why I’ve been looking around online. I’d come across a few sites that claimed to offer methods to fix Xbox 360s. One of them suggested I wrap my console in a towel. I’m almost embarrassed to say I tried it, but I was desperate to get my Xbox up and running again. As you can probably guess, it didn’t fix my Xbox 360.

Another bunch of sites recommended different positionings for the power adapter, claiming it would allow better air circulation. I followed all their instructions, but nothing they suggested would fix my Xbox 360. Perhaps it was a blessing that all these sites and methods failed me, because it forced me to keep looking around for a way to fix my Xbox 360. Eventually, I found just what I was looking for.

It’s called The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition. I came across their website, and I was pretty impressed with their claim that I’d have my Xbox 360 up and running again within 2 hours if I followed their advice. I didn’t think it would work – not for a second – but I thought it was worth a shot (I was at the stage where I was sure I’d have to return my console to Microsoft and pay the extortionate fee for them to fix my Xbox 360).

Anyway, I went ahead and gave The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition a shot, and guess what? It worked!

Just like their guarantee said, I was gaming again in less than two hours. And almost a week later and everything’s still working fine. I was a bit worried that I wouldn’t be able to follow the instructions to perform the fix, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition comes with really simple video tutorials that show you exactly what to do.

Like I said before, I have a few friends whose consoles also died. I introduced a couple of them to The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition, and they’ve had success too. A few of them had given up hope of ever finding a way to fix their Xbox 360s, but so far the success rate is incredible.

Just thought I’d bring The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition to everyone’s attention, because I know how crappy it is to be hunting around for a miracle fix for your Xbox 360. So check it out if you need to fix an Xbox 360! If you’re currently looking for an Xbox 360 repair then I’m sure you’ll be interested.

It’s a sore subject for me...
A couple of months back I fired up my Xbox 360 and saw those dreaded red lights of death. Over the next couples of days the console switched between working and not working, until eventually it stopped working altogether. So I started looking around for an Xbox 360 repair, because my warranty had expired and I didn’t like the thought of splashing out on a new one.

To cut a long story short, I didn’t find much. All the quick fixes I came across online and via friends were useless. Just type in “Xbox 360 repair” into Google and I’m sure you’ll come across the same stupid “tricks” people suggest to get your console working again. But trust me and don’t waste your time trying them.

So in the end I did what I thought I’d never do – I sent it back to Microsoft. They offer an Xbox 360 repair service, although it’s known for being costly and slow, and I can confirm that it is indeed both those things. It took 7 weeks to come back to me, and cost me over $150 with shipping. It came back working, though, so I was happy. Until...

...My friend’s Xbox 360 broke...

Like me, he was all prepared to send it back to Microsoft, but before he got around to it he carried out his own search for an Xbox 360 repair, and he found The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition. He decided to give it a try.

A few days later I saw him, and his Xbox 360 was back in perfect working order.

I couldn’t believe it!

He showed me the video tutorials that accompanied The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition, and he showed me how simply he’d performed his Xbox 360 repair. I should have been happy for him, but I was too mad for that. I’d wasted 2 months of my time and $150 of my money on an Xbox 360 repair, and here was someone who’d achieved the same thing for a fraction of the cost in a fraction of the time.

Since then I’ve suggested The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition to another of my friends, and it worked for him too. If mine ever breaks again, I certainly won’t be sending it back to Microsoft. Not now I’ve seen how simple and quick it is to perform an Xbox 360 repair with The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition.

I suggest anyone who has a dead Xbox 360 checks it out before you waste your time and money, like I did.

Xbox 360 3 Flashing Red Lights

If your Xbox 360 has died recently, read on to find out what not to do. And at the end, find out what you should do.

Last summer my Xbox 360 died and showed me those notorious three flashing red lights. At the time I had no idea what they meant. All I knew was that nothing worked anymore. So I ran a search on Google for “Xbox 360 three flashing red lights,” and pretty soon I realized I was in trouble.

Three flashing lights on your Xbox 360, I discovered, meant a general hardware failure. And by the sounds of things, there wasn’t a lot you could do except send it back to Microsoft and wait for a repair.

So I was all set to return it to Microsoft. Until I read on the official site that it could take up to 8 weeks for them to fix and return my Xbox 360. There was no way I wanted to be without my console for that long, so I started looking into other ways of solving the problem of the Xbox 360’s three flashing red lights.

Unfortunately for me I found a website that showed you how to crack open the Xbox’s case and perform some do-it-yourself soldering. Apparently the Xbox 360 is known for having weak solder joints, and following the instructions on the website would allow me to re-solder the faulty connections.
Anyway, idiot that I am I gave it a try. When I turned the Xbox 360 back on after my repair attempts the three flashing red lights were gone. The trouble is, so were all the lights. Something I’d done inside had resulted in complete shutdown. The thing just wouldn’t come on at all.

Angry and desperate, I then gave in and sent the thing back to Microsoft for them to repair. A week later it came back to me with a short note attached – the note informed me that due to my breaking the seal the warranty was now void, and that my console was no longer eligible for repair by them.

A week later and I was in a store spending my hard-earned money on a replacement Xbox 360.

Not long after all this I started posting on blogs and forums, warning people not to try fixing your Xbox 360’s three flashing red lights on your own. Any time the subject came up I instantly told people to get their console back to Microsoft right away for a repair.

I’m no longer giving that advice, though.
Not since a friend of mine managed to successfully rid his Xbox 360 of the three flashing red lights. He found this system online called The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition. He gave them a try because they had a money-back guarantee that he would have his console in perfect working order in less than 2 hours.

And it worked just like they promised. He followed their video tutorials and an hour later he was playing Guitar Hero 3 on his Xbox 360...minus those dreaded three flashing red lights.

So now when the subject of the three flashing red lights on the Xbox 360 comes up, I tell people to give The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition a try. And everyone I’ve recommended it to has found that the fix works just as well as it did for my friend.

If your Xbox 360 is dead, isn’t it worth a shot? With the guarantee of getting it up and running again in less than 2 hours, I’d say it is. Not too long ago he asked me to put together some information on the Xbox 360 three red lights: what they mean, why they appear, how to get rid of them etc. He wanted to put up a feature on his website based on my findings.

So I began some basic research on the subject. It didn’t take me long to make a discovery that may have made my friend’s whole concept of an information package irrelevant.

First off, I should point out that there’s no shortage of information on the subject. Go ahead and type in “Xbox 360 three red lights” into Google and you’ll drown in information, tips, suggestions, and God knows what else. And if I’m honest, most of it’s nonsense. Tips that don’t work, inaccurate information, and scams make up the vast majority of what you’ll come across. Too many people know how often gamers search for advice regarding the Xbox 360’s three red lights, and they attempt to cash in on it.

And that’s why my friend wanted me to weed through all the information and pick out the good stuff – the stuff people could really use to solve the all too common problem of the Xbox 360 and its three red lights of death.

Anyway, back to that discovery I mentioned at the start. I found this new thing called The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition. It’s a complete solution to the dreaded Xbox 360 three red lights problem, and it even comes with a guarantee to have your console back in perfect working order in under 2 hours.

That’s a pretty bold claim, so I probed some more, asked around a bit, and talked to people who’ve used The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition. And everything I’ve been able to find is positive. Everyone I’ve found who’s used The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition says the problem of the Xbox 360 three red lights is no longer something to fear.

I’ve also been impressed with what I’ve heard of the customer service. For a start, you’ll deal with real human beings, and not some automated response bot. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the video tutorials that accompany The Xbox 360 Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition. Apparently, they make performing the fix a simple task, even for technophobes.

So, my original task had been to put together some information on how to best overcome the Xbox 360’s three red lights. But instead I found a simple solution that made my task irrelevant.

At least I’ll know what to do if my Xbox ever dies on me, though!
