This might possibly be our favourite piece of this batch! We’ve coveted maxi-dresses for awhile now, but stumbled upon this vintage piece during one of our fashion hunts recently. Coming in three dark colours – navy blue, dark grey & black – all of which look just as perfect paired with the running line of gold buttons down the middle. Comfy and casual at the same time, we’re a fan of how the hem sits prettily at mid-calf level. Pair it off with brown accessories – a thin weaved belt, a sling bag perhaps and you’re good to go.

If you couldn’t already tell, we do love our lazy tops, lazy tops being tops you can effortlessly throw on and just about pair it with anything and still look pretty damn good. We were thinking of multiple ways to wear this lace-covered tank top and it resulted in a long list – with shorts for shopping, with jeans for a semi-formal event, liquid leggings for a night sesh, even with a high waisted pencil skirt for work. We think we might be lifelong fans of the boyfriend shirt. Androgynous yet feminine, you really get the best of both worlds. Jailbird Rock is the latest boyfriend shirt we’ve added to the xoxo.chic repertoire, but what sets this apart is the cute asymmetrical hemline – the front hem is slightly shorter than the back which gives it the chic factor. Slouch it out by just simply pairing it with a pair of shorts and maybe a postman bag. Who doesn’t love a good deal? It must be somehow written in our fairer sex genes. Which is why we nearly pounced on this set right here when we first saw it. Casonova consists of a white off shoulder with a slight sailorette twinge to it at the chest pocket, tucked into a pair of army green shorts and topped off with a slim weave brown belt which is all the rage these days. We've brought in a lot of toga pieces in our time in the online shopping blogosphere, but we daresay that this could be our favourite one yet. Why? If there ever was a dress that was made for both work and play, we daresay this is the one. With a pretty white bodice adorned in that cutesy mandarin-esque collar and buttons down the middle, this dress is cleverly balanced off with a bodycon bottom in striped slashes. What’s even more ingenious is that the bold stripes don’t go all the way around, as you can see, the back of the skirt is all dark blue. (Read: Hugs our bottom nicely without making it look too big ‘cause dark colours are slimming!) It would look awesome with a professional chic blazer and kitten heels for work, and immediately after, for happy hour drinks just on its own.

Pretty, dainty, feminine, gorgeous and angelic – those were pretty much the first thoughts in our heads when we laid our eyes upon this piece right here. Rightfully named after one of our favourite characters from Sex and the City, this top was just too pretty not to share. For some reason, the opening riffs of our favourite Boys Like Girls ditty always seem to ring in our heads when we look at this one right here. (In fact, we think it’ll be perfect concert-gear to mosh in, sing in, dance in!)
