I got a Call to undefined function curl_init() error message when i testing one of my php scripts. So google and found this link

I just following what it say, open a terminal and key in the following code:

aptitude install php5-curl

then I press the enter key , so it start to install, upon completion i restart my apache server

/etc/init.d/apache2 restart

then I test it again, this time the error is gone.

Recently i come accross project which require to place a Show Tag form and a Search form in the same line.

Normally when you put two form together, it will align one on top of the other. In order to make it align into the same line , we need to do something on the css style.

How to Install Joomla in Ubuntu

1.Open a terminal and run the following command

2. Download Joomla

6. Unpack Joomla!

7. Cleanup

rm -f $SOURCEPKG

then press enter

8. Move Joomla!

cd ..

then press enter

sudo mv joomla /var/www/

then press enter

9. Set permission to writable, allow writting in whole joomla subtree

sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www/joomla

then press enter

10. Handle file and directory permissions:

cd /var/www/joomla

then press enter

sudo find . -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \;

then press enter

sudo find . -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \;

then press enter

11. Create a database for Joomla!

mysqladmin -u root -p create joomla

then press enter

12. creates a mysql user (other than the mysql root user) with some priviledges to use the joomla database

mysql> GRANT SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, CREATE, DROP, INDEX, ALTER, CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES, LOCK TABLES ON joomla.* TO 'yourusername'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'yourpassword';

13. activate the new permissions

mysql> FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

14. Quit the mysql prompt

15. Open history file for MySQL commands and delete the above SQL, since the password is in readable format!

gedit ~/.mysql_history

16. Restart Apache2

sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

17. Point your browser to

http://localhost/joomla/

1. down load libreoffice from below link:

http://www.libreoffice.org/download/

and save it to your desktop.

2. then double click on LibO_3.4.1_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US.tar.gz and extract it to your desktop

you will see a new folder named LibO_3.4.1rc3_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US appear on your desktop.

3. next click on App;ication/Accessories/Terminal to open the terminal window

then type :

sudo dpkg -i ~/Desktop/LibO_3.4.1rc3_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US/DEBS/*.deb

then press enter

Finally you need to install desktop integration deb package using the following command :

Yes, you can launch any application with an desktop shortcut, but do you notice that you can do it by using keyboard shortcut also?

1. It is easy, just click at {start}/{all programs}/{internet explorer}, then right click and select {properties}.

When you erase files from Windows, it dose not delete it permanently, you can recover it later it you wish. If you have certain files deleted and do not want other people to recover them again. RightDelete if a good choice for you.

RightDelete if small, it only weighs 156kb but does the job nicely.

Just download and extract the zip file into a folder of you choice, then double click on RightDelete.exe , click {OK} to add RightDelete to the context menu.

Now when you want to delete any file from windows, just right click on that and select {securely delete this file} and the file will be deleted permanently and unrecoverable.
