My friend told me he can find and replace text in multiple file using NotePlus. so i google and found a few link for this.

The first one i try, but not success.

So i try the second link , this time it works perfectly.

this is how i did as instructed .

i open a terminal and paste the following command

cd
wget http://advanced-find.googlecode.com/files/advanced_find-0.5.1.tar.gz
tar -xvf advanced_find-0.5.1.tar.gz
cd advanced_find-0.5.1
./install.sh

next it ask me for my password.

then i open gedit and go to Edit/Preference/Plugins and select the Adcance/Replace plugin
that is it. i am done.

Php curl not working

Having problem getting to curl_init()

so i started phpinfo() and checked curl not enabled

i do the following

sudo apt-get install php5-curl

then it says

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:
gir1.2-gucharmap-2.90
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove it.
The following NEW packages will be installed:
php5-curl

so i do as instrcuted:

sudo apt-get autoremove

but still can get php5-curl installed

so i do

sudo apt-get update

then

sudo apt-get install php5-curl

this time i can see it in phpinfo()

but it is still not working

so i do

sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

this time it work perfectly. yahoo!

To list installed color scheme in vim.

Press [esc] to go to command mode
then key in the following:

:colorscheme then Space followed by TAB

the screen will show

:colorscheme blue

press enter to switch to this color scheme or press tab again to browse to other color scheme

Another way to list all install color scheme is

:colorscheme then Space followed by CTRL + d

this will display all the install color schemes as follow:

then you have to type:

i install mongodb from the software manager

We have completed our Starting Balance setup. Now we are going to setup the product that we sell.

Go to Setting/Product Master

Click at Add New Record, key in your Product Code, click submit, then key in your product name.
e.g. : Starfruit, unit-pc, price, and select Sales for Income Account , if you buy this to resales, select Purchases for Expenses Account.

Next, you can start recording your income. go to Income/Create Invoice

Click at Add New Invoice, Select a Customer, click Submit.
select the term of payment, click submit.

click at Add Item, select a product, click submit, key in the Description if you wish, qty then click submit to save.

Click at Email Invoice to send invoice to your customer's email address as enter in the Customer Master.

If you received a "No email was specified for this invoice, email not send" message, you may click at Edit at the Invoice List Table, then click at More Info... to add in your customer's email address.

When Customer Paying their account. Go to Income/Multiple Invoice Payament. Click at Add New Payment, select the customer, click submit, key in payment date, payment account and amount paid, then click submit to save.

Next, click at Split This Payment to split the payment against invoice paid.

If your customer is paying only one invoice, you may just go to Income/Invoice Payable to You. Click at the respective invoice Item, then click at Payment, select the payment account, and fill all other information then click submit.

When customer returning goods, go to Income/Sales Return, click at Add New Sales Return,select the customer, click submit, Next click Add Item to enter the items returned by your customer, next click at Split to split the sales return against customer's respective invoice.

To enter cash sales, go to Income/Create Invoice, click at Quick Entry, to enter your cash sales.

When you make purchases from your supplier, go to Expenses/Entering Bill, the operation is the same as Create Invoice.

Once you get ready of your Trial Balance, You can now setup your Account Balance.

Just click at Setting/Account Balances - Step 1. You will see a list of Accounts. Check and see if any of your Trial Balance Accounts is not in the list. Then go to Setting/Chart of Account and add it into the list.

I found that my RENOVATION and LICENSE FEE Account was not in the list. So i have to create these accounts.

At the Chart of Account Page, just click at Add New Record.

Give your account a code number (e.g mine is 111000 of course it can alfa numeric). Then click Submit.Next key in the account name, which is RENOVATION. next select the Account Type of Fixed Asset. Click Submit to save.

Since RENOVATION is of account type Fixed Asset Account. I will create an RENOVATION - PROVISION FOR DEPRECIATION account again to record the accumulated depreciation.

It is important to code your provision for depreciation account with the same account code as the fixed asset account, (RENOVATION 1110000) with a post-fix of 1(a/c code 1110001 a/c name RENOVATION - PROVISION FOR DEPRECIATION a/c type Fixed Asset).

Next setup the Customer and Supplier Accounts.

After setting up the Customer and Supplier Account, we can proceed to setting up the Starting Balances.

Go to Setting/Account Balances -Step 1.

Since my Trial Balance is As At 31 August 2012, so i key in 2012 and the year field and select August for the month. Then just key all the balance as appear at the Trial Balance to the respective accounts.

After completed Account Balances - Step 1, proceed to Account Balances - Split Accounts Receivable - Step 1.2 to setup your Customer's unpaid Invoices.

Next, proceed to Account Balances - Split Accounts Payable - Step 1.3 to setup your supplier's unpaid bills.

Call to undefined function curl_init() in php

I got a Call to undefined function curl_init() error message when i testing one of my php scripts. So google and found this link

I just following what it say, open a terminal and key in the following code:

aptitude install php5-curl

then I press the enter key , so it start to install, upon completion i restart my apache server

/etc/init.d/apache2 restart

then I test it again, this time the error is gone.

To prevent sql injection hack,

after querying the database, place the table field data into an variable then compare it with the user's input:
