Be part of our annual effort to clean up city parks, gardens, and public spaces on New York Cares Day Spring.Get ready to clean, mulch, plant, and paint in green spaces throughout the city, to help prepare them for millions of New Yorkers to enjoy all summer long. By the end of the day on April 20th, more than 70 green spaces throughout all five boroughs will be transformed.This year our focus is on waterfronts and spaces that are still dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. You’ll get the opportunity to help neighborhoods affected by the storm regain some sense of normalcy, by restoring beaches, parks, and green spaces around the city.New York Cares Day Spring is also a fundraiser for New York Cares.
