Change Price of Flat Rate Shipping

This tutorial starts once logged into to the control panel of the website and go to Tienda

1. In Tienda, click on CONFIGURATION

2. On the left, click on SHIPPING

3. Click the icon to ENABLE standard shipping. This is important; if it is not enabled, you will have no options to add/change rates.

4. Click on VIEW PLUGIN OPTIONS to change settings for standard shipping

5. Once on the standard shipping page, click on SET RATES. If you do not see this, your web designer may still need to configure this for you.

6. A popup box will appear with the current rates that are set. You can change the amount in the PRICE box.

7. Click SAVE CHANGES

Make products show as "In Stock"

Log into your website and choose "Tienda" from the Components drop down menu.

From the Dashboard, choose Catalog -> Products -> Open Individual Product

Click Pricing/Inventory tab

Choice A: Set "Check Product Inventory" to NO

Choice B: Set Product Quantity > 0

*note: If you set check inventory to YES for the first time, hit APPLY, then you will have the option to set product quantities.

Hide "Out of Stock" Items

Log into your website and choose "Tienda" from Components dropdown menu.

From the dashboard, choose Configuration -> General Configuration

Click Display Settings and then set "Display Out of Stock Products" to NO

How to Clear Browser Cache

Internet Explorer

Click on "Safety" in the toolbar on the upper right side of the browser window
From the dropdown menu, click "Delete Browsing History"
A window pops up with check boxes, make sure at least "Temporary Internet files" is selected
Click "Delete"

Firefox

Click on "Tools" in the main menu toolbar
From the dropdown, click "Clear Recent History..."
A window pops up, set "Time range to clear" to "Everything"
Make sure the box next to "Cache" is checked
Click "Ok"

Chrome

Click the wrench icon in the upper right corner of the browser window
From the dropdown, highlight "Tools", a new menu pops out, click "Clear Browsing Data"
Set "Obliterate the following items from:" to "the beginning of time"
Make sure the box next to "Empty the cache" is checked
Click "Clear Browsing Data" button

Safari

Click on "Safari" in the main menu bar at top of screen
Click on "Preferences"
Click on the "Privacy" icon
Click "Remove All Website Data"

Go to RSS Graffiti application page on Facebook
Click on "Go To App"
Once there, you need to Authenticate your Facebook accoung by clicking on "Click HERE to authorize RSS Graffiti
On next page click "Allow"
On the left, select a page that you administer and then enter in the URL for the blog feed you want and then click "+ Add feed"

How to Unlock Articles

First, go to your websites back-end control panel.
Select "Tools," and click "Global Check-in."

You will notice at the bottom of the screen it says all articles have been "Checked In." This means that all locked articles have returned to unlocked status.

Mass Email Using Joomla

The Mass Mail screen allows Users who are members of the "Super Administrator" group to send an e-mail message to all Users who are members of a specific group.

Mail to Child Groups. Whether or not to send the E-mail to members of all child groups of the selected group. For example, if this box is checked and the group "Public Front-end" is selected, the e-mail would be sent to all members of the "Registered", "Author", "Editor" and "Publisher" groups.
Send in HTML mode. Whether or not to send the E-mail with headers that identify it as an HTML document. E-mailclients that support this will render any HTML codes.
Group. Select the group you want to send the E-mail to.
Recipients as BCC. Adds copy to site email. If checked, all recipients will be included as BCC entries, so none will see any of the other recipients' E-mail addresses. Because many mail routers treat E-mail without a To: entry as spam, the site email will be used for the To: entry.
Subject Enter the Subject of the E-mail
Message. Enter the body of the E-mail

At the top right you will see the toolbar:

Send Mail Send the email and return to the main Mass Mail screen
Cancel. Go back to the main screen of the Manager, without saving the modifications you made.
