The Meaning of Ulul Amr !

The meaning of Ulal Amr - This verse reveals that all Muslims should obey Allah (God) and His Rasool and Ulal Amr. The question is who is Ulal Amr whose obedience is as important as of Allah and His Rasool (Apostle) ? It means he must possesses such qualities and traits as a person who can promulgate Divine Laws and is well versed in interpreting the commands and injunctions of Allah and His Rasool (Apostle). He should be able to understand and conceive all Divine Laws with out any confusion, ambiguity and doubt. He must have complete command and control on all types of knowledge that exists in the universe, in short he should be second to none but Allah and His Rasool (Apostle). An ordinary person or any president of the state or any ruling king cannot be this person and in order to find the truth we have to go back and explore the history.

Now if we go through the pages of Islamic history and briefly review the traditions (Hadith) of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) we shall come to know that who is such significant and honored personality who is being revered to such top echelon in the eyes of Allah and His Rasool.(Apostle). For this we do not need an expert knowledge of the subject, it only requires a sensible, logical and unbiased approach in exploring the truth in the light of the historical facts being presented here.
The Holy Kaaba is the birth place of Ali, the same Kaaba where Marry was declined access and she was sent back with clear Divine injunctions that Kaaba was not a Maternity Home at the time of birth of Jesus Christ(A.S) and when the mother of Ali,arrived there the wall of Holy Kaaba burst opened apart and Fatima Binte Asad (A.S) entered and gave birth to Ali. None of the Sahaba has this privilege whose birth place was Kaaba and who died in a mosque in the holy month Ramadan (21Ramadan).The Government of Saudi Arabia did try to conceal this fact but they failed to hide the damaged wall of Kaaba which till date reminds that Ali was born there.
Knowledge is the first step and in Islam it covers all aspects of mundane as well as spiritual life. Its acquisition is important for every Muslim, male or female and one has to strife for it if he or she has to go to China. Our Holy Prophet has very clearly mentioned in one of his tradition that "Ana Madina tul Ilme wa Ali un Baabo Haa" meaning I am the city of Knowledge and Ali is a Gateway to that Knowledge. He also said that "Ana Daar ul Hikmata wa Ali un Baabo Haa" City of Knowledge means all types knowledge which exist in this universe or any other existing universe where ever Allah has showered His bounties and generosities and Ali is the Gateway to all such knowledge possessed by our Holy Prophet (pbuh).It is an unlimited claim without any specific reference to any category, class or genre of Knowledge. Ali himself claimed at the pulpit "Saloony, saloony qabil antaf ke doony" meaning you can ask me what ever you are ignorant to or any thing which you are not aware off, before you loose me. None of any of the Sahaba (companions) has ever made such a high claim as regard to possession of knowledge. People often, used to ask Ali very difficult and tedious questions and his spontaneous reply often bewildered them. Once a man asked Ali that how would he answered all the tedious questions within seconds, Ali held his hand out and said how many fingers he could see he immediately replied five, Ali said how did you answer that so quickly he said he could see them very clearly Ali replied that "He can see all the things existing in this universe as clearly as you can see these 5 fingers of this hand."
The Event of Mobahala is well known in the Islamic history and nobody can deny it. Everybody knows who were the revered personalities present at the occasion and what important event took place there. The Prophet was explaining that there is only One Allaha (God) and was trying to convince the Christian Priests by giving references from the Holy Quran but they were not mentally prepared to accept and acknowledged it. The Allah commanded the Prophet you tell these Christians bring your ladies and we will bring ours, bring your sons and we will bring ours and bring your souls and we will bring ours and together we all shall pray to God Almighty that the curse of God will be onto the liers forever. Who were the personalities present there as the history narrates those were Ahl ul Bayt (People of the House) Muhammad, Fatima his daughter , Hassan, Hussain and Ali (Peace be upon them all ) and when the Christian Priests saw their faces they refused to enter into Mohabala with them saying that they could see such charismatic personalities and if they uttered a single world to God the entire generation of Christians would be perished and demolished forever. This was the vision and understanding of the non Muslims about Ahl ul Bayt at that time.
Appointment of Ali (a.s) as Caliph by Muhammad (pbuh)
I have already mentioned earlier that to explore the truth we do not need an expert knowledge but it only requires a sensible, logical and unbiased approach to the subject. We must ignore the element of prejudice and use common sense to handle the truth. We must not get influenced by any of the "Religious Mullaan" or "Religious Quacks" who are the major sources of conflicts and rifts among the Muslim World and it is all due to their wrong preaching and teachings, the Muslim World has fallen apart and divided into various "Fiqhas" completely ignoring the true spirit of Islam.We are very unfortunate in conceiving the true knowledge from the guided leaders of Islam perhaps we are unable to recognize them even.
Before moving on the subject, I would like to clarify two points for my Muslim brothers and friends from the other community, that understanding and interpreting Quran, the Holy Book of Allah(God) is not an easy task, these are the special words from Allah (God) and it requires special people having complete command and control on the subject and we need to find such people who can guide us on the right path, the path which Allah and His Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) have decided for us. The second point is that the order of the Quranic verses revealed are not same as the order in which these verses were compiled, some were revealed in Macca and the others in Madina, hence making Quran a bit difficult for an ordinary Arab or a Non Arab person to understand or interpret it, just like an Urdu speaking person cannot understand the poetry of Ghalib and needs a teacher or a guide for its interpretation similarly an ordinary Arab cannot be an expert in interpreting Quran.
Now coming back to the subject, appointment of Ali (a.s) as caliph by Muhammad (pbuh) is widely reported and explained in various books of ahadis (traditions) and nobody can deny it and the famous tradition/words of Muhammad (pbuh) "Man Kuntho Maula Fa Haaza Ali un Maula" cannot be overlooked and ignored because the entire Muslim Ummah has already suffered a lot for this. Most of the people are completely ignorant of the historical back ground and occasion when Muhammad (pbuh) had to utter these special words as a result of a Divine Command when he was coming back after performing his last Hajj (Hajjatul-Wada) and this was the first time that the Muslims with this magnitude gathered in one place in the presence of their leader, the Messenger of Allah.The following verse was revealed commanding Prophet (pbuh) to deliver what was undelivered till that time.

[5:68] O Messenger! Convey to the people what has been revealed to thee from thy Lord; and if thou do it not, thou hast not conveyed His Message at all. And Allah will protect thee from men. Surely, Allah guides not the disbelieving people. (Al-Maidah)

[5:68] اے رسول! اچھی طرح پہنچا دے جو تیرے ربّ کی طرف سے تیری طرف اتارا گیا ہے۔ اور اگر توُ نے ایسا نہ کیا تو گویا توُ نے اس کے پیغام کو نہیں پہنچایا۔ اور اللہ تجھے لوگوں سے بچائے گا۔ یقیناً اللہ کافر قوم کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا۔

As mentioned earlier, this verse was revealed when our holy Prophet (pbuh) was performing his last farewell pilgrimage and all the Divine Commands and Injunctions/Orders/Islamic Laws/complete Code of Islam had been revealed onto Him till that time. So what was left undelivered, which was so important that our Lord had to command his beloved Prophet "Convey to the people what has been revealed to thee from thy Lord; and if thou do it not, thou hast not conveyed His Message at all" It was such an important Divine Message that non conveyance of the same to the people could render all the conveyed Divine Injunctions null and void (thou hast not conveyed his message at all).After receiving the verse the Prophet (pbuh) stopped near a place called Ghadeer-e-Khum. Then he sent all people who had been ahead in the way, to come back and waited until all pilgrims who fell behind, arrived and gathered.He delivered the speech and recited hundred verses from the Glorious  Quran and for seventy three times reminded and warned people of their deeds.Following is the part of speech which has been widely narrated by the traditionists;

The Messenger of Allah declared ,

"It seems the time approached when I shall be called away (by Allah) and I shall answer that call.I am leaving for you two precious things and if you adhere to them both, you will never go astray after me. They are the Book of Allah and Progeny , that my Ahlul-Bayt. The two shall never separate from each other until they come to me by the Pool (of Paradise)"

The the Messenger of Allah continued , "Do I not have more rights over the believers than what they have over themselves?" People cried and answered "Yes, O' Messenger of Allah" Then followed the key sentence designating Ali as their leader. "Man Kuntho Maula Fa Haaza Ali un Maula" For whoever I am his Leader, Ali is his Leader. Immediately after Prophet (pbuh) finished his speech, the following verse was revealed.
This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
The above verse clearly indicates that Islam without resolving the issue of leadership after Prophet (pbuh) was not complete, and completion of religion was due to announcement of the Prophet's immediate successor. If we further deeply analyse the historical events and facts you will find that all the Prophets (which were only sent towards their own communities, like Jesus for Christianity and Mosses for Jews) did appoint their successors then how can you expect from the Leader of the Universe, Leader of All the Prophets and City of Knowledge to do such a blunder of not appointing his successor and leaving the entire Muslim Umma in the hands of illiterate Arabs to decide his successor? Common sense does not accept it. If an ordinary prophet could think of appointing his successor why not their Leader? How could a visionary Leader with all his comprehensive knowledge, leave the nascent sapling of Islam to be destroyed and annihilated in the hands of looters and plunderers, which is unbelievable! The Prophet (pbuh) once said to Ali "The relation between you and me is like Moses (Musa) and Arron (Haroon), the difference is that there will be no prophet after me" What does it mean that Ali will be the leader after me, a clear indication of leadership. It means the Prophet did make an appointment of his successor but it could not get registered with the illiterate minds of Arabs and they failed to understand or were not prepared mentally to accept it.
As I mentioned earlier that the order of revelation and the order of compilation of Quran is different, the first verse was "Iqra Bae Ismae Rabe Ka" and the last verse was "Al Yoma Akmaltho Lakom Deeno Kom" that is why understanding Quran with out guidance is a bit difficult and these "Mulaans" have really done an irreparable damage to Islam due to which the whole Muslim Ummah is suffering today.
Last but not the least now every body is waiting for Al-Mahdi, (a.s) Jesus (a.s) and Dajjal. Who is Al-Mahdi (a.s), the last of the 12 Imams of the Progeny of Muhammad (pbuh) whose first was Ali (a.s), second was Hassan (a.s) and third was Hussain (a.s) who was martyred at Karbala on 10th of Muharram. What an agony of the fate the people now recognizing the last of the Imams but failed to acknowledge their oath of allegiance to their first one and that is the root cause of the down fall of the Muslim Ummah.
We have failed to recognize the real Ulal Amr (12 Imams) after the sad demise of our Holy Prophet (pbuh), we did adhere to Quran but separated the Ahlul-Bayt (the People of the house) from it and have gone astray as mentioned by our Prophet (pbuh). May Allah Almighty unite all the Muslim Ummah in the manner it was united at Ghadeer-e Khum and give us the courage to fight our enemies the way our courageous leaders fought in Badr, Khandaq and Uhad.

" حمد و ثناء اللہ کی ذات سے مخصوص ہے ہم اس پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں ، اسی پر توکل

کرتے ہیں اور اسی سے مدد چاہتے ہیں ۔ ہم برائی اور اپنے برے کاموں سے بچنے کے لئے اس کی پناہ چاہتے ہیں۔

وہ اللہ جس کے علاوہ کوئی دوسرا ہادی و راہنما نہیں ہے ۔ اور جس نے بھی گمر

اہی کی طرف ہدایت کی وہ اس کے لئے نہیں تھی ۔

میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں ہے
، اور محمد ؐ اس کا بندہ اور رسول ہے۔

ہاں اے لوگو ! وہ وقت قریب ہے کہ میں دعوتِ حق کو لبیک کہوں اور تمھارے درمیان سے چلا جاؤں تم بھی جواب دہ ہو اور میں بھی جواب دہ ہوں ۔

اس کے بعد فرمایا کہ : میرے بارے میں تمھارا کیا خیال ہے ؟

کیا میں نے تم سے متعلق اپنی ذمہ داری کو پورا کردیا ہے ؟

یہ سن کر پورے مجمع نے رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمات کی تصدیق کی اور کہا کہ ہم گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ آپ نے بہت کوششیں کیں اور اپنی ذمہ داری کو پورا کیا اللہ آپ کو اس کا اچھا اجر دے ۔

پیغمبر صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:

” کیا تم گواہی دیتے ہو کہ اس پوری دنیا کا معبود ایک ہے اور محمد اس کا بندہ اور رسول ہے اور جنت و جہنم و آخرت کی جاویدانی زندگی میں کوئی شک نہیں ہے ؟

سب نے کہا کہ: صحیح ہے ہم گواہی دیتے ہیں ۔،،

اس کے بعد رسول اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:

” اے لوگو! میں تمھارے درمیان دو اہم چیزیں چھوڑ رہا ہوں ، میں دیکھوں گا کہ تم میرے بعد میری ان دونوں یادگاروں کے ساتھ کیا سلوک کرتے ہو ۔

اس وقت ایک شخص کھڑا ہوا اور بلند آواز میں سوال کیا کہ ان دو اہم چیزوں سے کیا مراد ہے؟

پیغمبر اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ:

" ایک اللہ کی کتاب ہے جس کا ایک سرا اللہ کی قدرت میں ہے اور دوسرا تمھارے ہاتھوں میں ، اور دوسرے میری عترت اور اہلبیت ہیں، اللہ نے مجھے خبر دی ہے کہ یہ ہرگز ایک دوسرے جدا نہ ہوں گے "

ہاں اے لوگوں ! قرآن اور میری عترت پر سبقت نہ کرنا ، اور دونوں کے حکم کی تعمیل میں کوتاہی نہ کرنا ، ورنہ ہلاک ہو جاؤ گے ۔

اس وقت حضرت علی علیہ السلام کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر اتنا اونچا اٹھایا کہ

دونوں کی بغلوں کی سفیدی سب کو نظر آنے لگی
، علی ؑ سے سب لوگوں کو متعرف کرایا ۔

اس کے بعد فرمایا:

” مومنین پر خود ان سے زیادہ سزوار کون ہے ؟“

سب نے کہا کہ: اللہ اور اس کا رسول زیادہ جانتے ہیں۔

پیغمبر صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا :

” اللہ میرا مولیٰ ہے اور میں مومنین کا مولا ہوں اور میں ان کے نفسوں پر ان سے زیادہ حق تصرف رکھتا ہوں۔ “

ہاں اے لوگو!

” من کنت مولاہ فہٰذا علی مولاہ اللہم وال من والاہ،وعاد من عاداہ واحب من احبہ وابغض من ابغضہ وانصر من نصرہ وخذل من خذلہ وادر ا لحق معہ حیث دار “

جس جس کا میں مولیٰ ہوں اس اس کے یہ علی مولا ہیں ،

[ پیغمبر صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اطمینان کے لئے اس جملے کو تین بار کہا تاکہ بعد میں کوئی مغالطہ نہ ہو]

اے اللہ اُسکو دوست رکھ جو علی

ؑ کو دوست رکھے اور اس کو دشمن رکھ جو علیؑ کو دشمن رکھے ،

اس سے محبت کر جو علی ؑ
سے محبت کرے اور اس پر غضبناک ہو جو علی ؑ پر غضبناک ہو ،

اس کی مدد کر جو علی ؑ کی مدد کرے اور اس کو رسوا کر جو علی کو رسوا کر ے

اور حق کو ادھر موڑ دے جدھر جدھر علی ؑ مڑیں "

Imam Ali (AS) is the most learned personality after Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) that is why he said "Ana Madina tul Ilm wa Ali un Babo ha". I am the city of knowledge and Ali is the gate way to that knowledge. There is no doubt in it because his lectures has been compiled into book known as "Nahjul Balgha" meaning Peak of Eloquence.This book is a collection of gems of knowledge and one will be more enlightened after reading it. The people often asked Ali very tedious questions to test his knowledge but he intelligently managed it. Once a person asked Ali how did he reply all the tedious questions so spontaneously. Ali raised his hand and asked him, "how many fingers are there in my hand? ", he immediately replied five Ali asked how did you answer this so quickly he told he could see all his fingers clearly. " I can see all the things of this universe as clearly as you can see these five fingers" was the reply by Ali (A.S).

He was born in Kaaba and died in a mosque.The Lion of Allah, who played an important role in winning all the battles for Islam commencing from Badar, Khandaq, Uhad and Khyber one would find Ali playing a winning shot and making a way for rest of the Islamic forces to move ahead.

Who Killed Imam Hussain (A.S) ? ?

Who killed Imam Hussain (A.S) ? A big question mark . Were they infidels or non believers or atheists ? You will be shocked that none of these mentioned were involved in the ruthless carnage of our beloved Imam. On 10th of Muharram ul Haraam 61 A.H , the great tragedy of Karbala took place.

Imam Hussain (A.S) is the grand son of our holy Prophet, son of Ali & Fatima (A.S) and younger brother of Imam Hassan (A.S).The murderers and the killers did not consider any of these relations worth respectable and failed to pay reverence which Imam Hussain (A.S) deserves due to his position. The killers were the followers of those who used to curse and disgrace Imam Ali (A.S) from the pulpit and the spirit of true Islam was almost dwindled away from their lives. They who killed Imam Hussain (A.S), were none others, but believers and reciters of Holy Quran the book of God, they offer prayers five times, they were regular performer of Haj and pay Zakat regularly in short they possessed all the qualities of a believer who participated in the brutal carnage of Imam Hussain (A.S), his family members and his friends. Why were they against Imam Hussain (A.S) ? Were they not aware that who was Imam Hussain (A.S) ? Who was actually responsible for this blatant act of murder ? What was the root cause of this tragic incident of Karbala ? What is the reality this requires not only a thorough study of the subject but also needs in depth research analysis of the behaviors and attitude of the staunch believers of that time.
