[Android] An Android-based game console in 2013?

Ouya, this is a name of project of new gaming console based on Android system. Ed Fries, co-founder of first Xbox console, and Yves Béhar, designer of several Samsung devices design a console that will be efficient, inexpensive and will have extremely open environment for game designers. Developers will be able to publish their titles on it, which then will be available for free. Planned technical parameters of new Android console are Quad-Core Tegra 3, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of flash memory, a WiFi network card, Bluetooth module and one USB 2.0 port. It’ll run on Android 4.0 version. Producents would allow to modify the hardware configuration without having to worry about losing warranty. Proposed cost of hardware is 99$. Playing smartphone games on a big screen, it’d be interesing, don’t you think?

Thousands of people that registered their e-mails in Ubisoft’s database straight after E3 had gotten the ability to play ShootMania Beta today. The Beta Key inside the mail must be activated until 31st of July. The access to the game will last for 7 days, after the beta period was activated. A tutorial to the game will come “after the end of your 7 days…”.

Tomorrow Corporation, the designers behind the fantastic last-gen title World of Goo, are bringing a brand-new game to Wii U. Their upcoming game is called Little Inferno and is described as “an adventure that takes place almost entirely in front of a fireplace.” The game will be released during Winter 2012. Personally I think it’s a little creepy but fascinating.

Every ad takes 30 seconds.
They give you a boring first impression, but it’s all about the humor (especially the last one).

Chinese company Jin Xing has announced a new handheld gaming device, the JXD S5100, which will be powered by Android system. It was revealed a week after Nintendo confirmed that they will be releasing a Nintendo 3DS XL. As you can see from the picture above, the JXD S5100 looks very similar to a 3DS and a Wii U gamepad. A release date is not yet confirmed for the JXD S5100.

Actually, 1€ less. The collection featured 22 fullsets from Nintendo, Sega and NEC sysytems. More, there were all Sega and NEC games ever released. Many of the games weren’t even opened and have the original foil! Honestly, I would purchase it if it only was cheaper by 999,989€. How do you like it?

[Wii U] Star Fox developer talks about new Wii U title

Q-Games founder Dylan Cuthbert, who has worked alongside Nintendo on the majority of Star Fox titles, went on to say, that he has number ideas of how the Wii U gamepad could be used in new Star Fox game, but also he admitted it’s up to Nintendo to decide whether his idea works.

“Those questions are best geared towards Miyamoto. I know what I’d try and do with that tech, but at the end of the day, the ball’s in Nintendo’s court.

“I like to work on a variety of games, or life gets a little boring! Star Fox is a great world and series of characters, and one day I’d definitely like to go back to it and expand it further.”
