When I draw, I really draw.

2012-02-10T12:33:00.001-08:00

I mean... I really draw.

It's National Bird Day!!!

2012-01-05T14:21:00.000-08:00

Established by bird activists and recognized not by congress (yet, I assure you), but engaged in by yours truly. Please take freed-from-hideous-bird-cage bird below as a token of my objection to exploitation of birds in the US (and everywhere else for that matter).

I said it! Chirp Chirp.

Things most people know...

2011-02-03T08:48:00.000-08:00

That I learned last night.

1. Nutella does NOT melt.

2. If you pour cold milk into the cup you recently removed from the microwave with the toasty Nutella in it - it will crack.

3. Nutella + Milk + Lucky Charms = Ew!!!

Made in the 80's

2010-09-24T08:06:00.000-07:00

I feel confident enough to say that most of us living here on the world today, can all refer back to an era in our lives and say:

'There is little I can say about the 50's'

'Yeah, the 60's - my parents day and age'

'In the 70's my mother was more trouble to her parents than I was to her in the 90's'

'My dad did the worse job at singing 'Hey Mickey' in the 80's'

We bunch an entire 10 years together, create a group memory for them and slap a decade label on them.

What will we do from 2000 and forward? Say 'back in the twenty-thirties'? I don't think so. I think that those of us who are fortunate enough to be able to spread a reminiscence to a decade are lucky!

Graphologists do not analyze type for a reason

2010-09-03T08:03:00.000-07:00

I think you can learn so much about a person simply by looking at their written word. In typing, there is so much lost.

Debatable... you can express how you feel through colors or fonts - that someone else has created for you. There is no art, there is no craft, there is no personality.

Bubbles

2010-09-01T14:26:00.000-07:00

I am not sure why, but when I was a kid I used to think I could make a wish for every bubble. A wish a bubble - now if only bubbles were wishes; and if only I believed that every wish came true.

Additional Monday thoughts....

2010-08-02T14:54:00.000-07:00

The thing about Mondays -

2010-08-02T05:51:00.001-07:00

is that you're at the very beginning of the week, but you're also one day closer to the weekend than you were the day before.
