Summer is literally right around the corner and my favorite part about it has to be the amazing music festivals. Starting with the OG (original) of festivals Coachella Valley Music Festival leading the way. Enjoying music outdoors with friends and dancing the night away definitely defines a memorable summer. Now we all know that during these amazing festivals it gets extremely hot and temperatures can reach the high hundreds depending on the location. One of the most highly anticipated parts of these summer music festivals has to be what you will be sporting. Basically it's the music festival red carpet of the best most creative and heat resistant looks. One of my favorite looks to sport during these hot summer's has to be flowy skirts and dresses.

Next to being hydrated comfort has to definitely be the most important aspect while in the heat. Having a fabric that's breathable is a must.

Light colors also help with surviving the heat that can lead to overheating when choosing dark colored clothes.

Of course accessories don't stay behind! Sunglasses are a must to protect our eyes from UV rays.

Wet N Wild 1 Step WonderGel™ Nail Color Review

Wet N Wild has launched brand new products to their cosmetics line and I am very impressed. If you've been a long time reader of mine then you know how much I enjoy Wet N Wild cosmetics. One of the best drugstore eyeliners in my opinion has to be Wet N Wild Mega last liquid eyeliners. I always recommend Wet N Wild as an alternative to some high end products. Wet N Wild recently released 1 Step WonderGel Gel Polishes that come in many colors from warm to cool and glittery shades.

I've heard all the wonders of gel polishes but dreaded all the steps to achieve a perfect long lasting manicure. When I saw this at my local drugstore I was extremely excited to see that it was only one step. Doesn't require no lights,extra top coats or anything else beside just applying your polish just like you would with your regular polishes. As you can see I choose a very subtle pink called Pinky Swear.

Just like when you are going to apply your regular nail polish you want to use nail polish remover so you can have clean nails to start with. The brush is easy to use, it's the same brush that is in the Wet N Wild Shine polishes. One coat covers your whole nails as the polish is pigmented but I just enjoy applying two coats.

This is the final look with two coats. I really enjoy this formula, it's nice and thick but not too thick that it's impossible to apply neatly. There's no strong scent in the polish which is a plus for me. I've had it on for only a day but I've washed dishes,played tug of war with my dog and it's yet to crack.

L.A Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss Review + Swatches

One of the latest obsessions and trends in the beauty industry right now are liquid lipsticks. They are literally everywhere specially on instagram and Youtube. I personally am a fan of all kinds of lipsticks from drugstore to high end. If it's a great formula with great color I will definitely try it. When I saw these lipstick I instantly fell for them. The dark colors are perfect for Fall and Winter. The best part is that they are found at the drugstores.

Unfortunately I was only able to get three colors because they were sold out. The colors that I was able to get are Timeless, Stunner and Secret. They feel great on the lips and are extremely long lasting.

From left to right Stunner, Timeless and Secret. The current lip color I'm wearing in these pictures are Secret. If you are new to liquid lipsticks I would suggest to line your lips before you put on your liquid lipstick. If you want to apply two coats you have to completely wait till the lipstick is dry on your lips then apply a second coat.

One of my favorite go to lipsticks that I always choose and have in many of my purses are these fabulous Shany Cosmetics Lipsticks. Lately when I find a product that's amazing, inexpensive and luxurious I immediately want to share them with everyone. Who doesn't love a girl who shares great beauty finds that feel luxurious and inexpensive?

These colors are a must have, you have all year round shades that go from Spring all the way to Winter. If you are a beginner or are a beauty lover and enthusiast like myself you definitely have to try these smooth rich lipsticks.

One of my favorite things about these Shany Cosmetics Lipsticks are the fact that I tried them all on in one sitting and not once did my lips crack or feel dry. The lipsticks are enriched with Aloe Vera and Vitamins that just leave your lips feeling so magnificent. While being super smooth with true to color pigments that are long lasting through out the day.

Since these lipsticks come in a set of 12 they are numerical and don't have names like most lipsticks. I actually prefer that because I remember numbers better than names. Starting from the top down the first lipstick is 01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,10,11,12. My go to everyday lipstick is 4 it's the perfect nude.

Julep Maven is a subscription box just like all the other amazing subscription boxes out there Ipsy, Birchbox ect. I've always wanted to try one, so for my birthday I decided to treat myself and the best part was that I got it for $2.99! Which was for shipping. It arrived fairly quick and I was extremely excited.

Julep is a beauty subscription box that consist of beauty products such as nail polish,makeup and skincare items. You fill out a survey that ask you what are your beauty and fashion preference and customizes your likes to your box. I received the March birthstone nail polish due to my birthday being in March and it was the special they were running.

I adore the packaging so luxurious. The great thing about Julep's nail polishes is that they have oxygen technology that lets your nails breathe while having superior coverage and antioxidants. The best part is that its vegan.

Isn't it fantastic how it has little swatch me stickers so you can easily swatch. I thought that was very thoughtful of Julep.

Gel Eye Glider in Smokey Taupe Shimmer. This eye glider had me in awe, it is a waterproof eyeliner with a beautiful flawless finish. It consist of a very creamy formula that glides like butter with a fierce color that gives you 30 seconds to work with then it sets. It lasted all day. I was extremely pleased with all the products in my Julep Maven box. All the products are high quality and you can tell it was made with caliber. So far I have tried two out of three nail polishes and they are very rich with an easy to apply formula. As much as I wanted to like Julep Maven I was disappointed that there is no option to cancel your card or remove your card from the website. You have to call customer service and it's not something everyone enjoys going through. The price might be a bit high for some $24.99 a month. I think that is a bit overpriced compared to other subscription boxes out in the beauty market. Great products overall but I won't be getting another Julep Maven box this month. As you can tell from my previous blog post I decided to start my own beauty brand Yashira Alambares that will be coming out later on this year 2015. I feel beyond excited to be turning my dreams into a reality and sharing this experience with my lovely readers. As the quote say's with new beginnings comes an end of old things, actually I just made that up. Hello Everyone, let me just say right off the bat these brushes are AMAZING! Okay so I bought these fantastic brushes online at amazon. Usually before I buy something I read the reviews and the ratings. These brushes had a 4 out of 5 stars and over 1,500 reviews. Honestly I had never heard of the brand but I enjoy trying new things and brands. I instantly fell in love with them and bought it.

These wonderful Shany Cosmetics Professional Brushes come with 13 brushes. What is even better is the price. Only $12.30 super affordable and totally worth the money.

It also comes with a pouch that you can store your brushes in. Great for keeping the brushes safe and fantastic while traveling.

As you can also see Shany Cosmetics has the whole nine yards, from brushes to lipstick,nail polish and even makeup palettes. I have yet to try any other product but I have my eyes on the lipstick set they sell. If you know me I love lipsticks.

As you can see there are 12 brushes. It features Powder, Foundation,Blush, Eye shadow, Concealer,Lip, Spoolie, Mascara and a Dual eyebrow brush. The brushes are made by hand and of high quality combination of natural hair (goat/badger). Don't worry because Shany is against animal cruelty and are partnered with PETA and the brush hairs are from spare parts only.

Here is a closer look at the brushes so you can see how beautifully crafted these brushes were made.
I honestly recommend the brushes to first time makeup users or even as your everyday makeup brushes if you don't want to use your high end ones. I would even say that I prefer these brushes to my high end ones that I own. Another thing is that it is super easy to clean, I use a avocado olive and basil shampoo to clean them but Shany also sells an all natural shampoo for brushes.

Hello my lovelies. As you can see I recently did a mommy scenario tag. I really enjoy doing tags because I feel like everyone gets to know a little piece of me every time I do a tag. Hope you enjoy and if you want to also do the tag i'll post the questions down below.

Mommy Scenario Questions

1. Your kid is refusing to eat dinner, do you stand your ground and demand they eat what you made? Or make something else?

2. Your kid has a melt-down at the store, nothing is working to calm them. Do you leave & come back another time, or grit your teeth and finish shopping?

3. Your kid gets too many toys for their birthday, do you make some returns or save them for a rainy day?
4. Your kid is protesting sleep, do you give in at 3am, get them up & turn on a movie? Or continue to rock them, nurse, etc to try to get them back to sleep?

DIY Easy Flower Crown.

Summer is almost over but I can't get over how much I enjoyed wearing flowers on my hair and #flowercrowns. Here is a very quick and easy DIY to make your own flower crowns. All you need is 3 easy materials.

Heat up your glue gun and lets get crafty.

While heating up your glue gun you want to remove the flowers from the stem carefully one by one.

After removing flowers they should look like this, if you want you can also incorporate leaves to your flower crown.

You want to get your head band and carefully put a dot of hot glue on your flower and immediately glue it.

Simply keep doing the same steps until you have put the amount of flowers you desire.

Your end results should look like this. You could also add different color flowers and leaves to make it look more earthy. These usually rank around $9 to $10 dollars at store but overall everything came out at $3.44 .
I adore my flower crown because it's perfect for end of summer parties and BBQ's.

How To Get The Perfect Brow : Cara Delevingne

Everyone has always dreamed of the perfect brow with the perfect arch or has even tried to attempt it. Now a days when we think brows we instantly picture Cara Delevingne. Cara brought back the thick beautiful bushy brows, she is basically the poster child for brows.

Unfortunately we can't all have the same brow shape as others as we would like since we don't have the same face shape. If you want to learn how to achieve the perfect brow just follow these simple guide lines.

1. What's your face shape?

By determining what your face shape is you should get an idea of what brow shape goes with your beautiful face. In my case I have a long face. Even though now you have a guideline of how your brows should look always follow your natural shape.

2. Follow your natural shape.

As you can see here I used Audrey Hepburn as an example. You can see her natural brow without any makeup and even though her brows may look "unkempt" (She's such a beauty) you could easily follow her natural brow if you were to trim or line.

4. Groom and tweeze.

As you can see I simply just groom my eyebrows by removing the hair on the outer side and going in. I try not to remove too much and just leave it as is. I am a big fan of naturally thick brows.

My Favorite Nudes! Wet N Wild.

I know most of you might be tired of my obsession with Wet N Wild beauty but I just can't get enough. Seriously though who doesn't like drugstore makeup products? I'm going to share my two must have go to nudes.

I believe nudes are a classic statement piece in one's wardrobe, be it nude shoes, undergarments or even nail polish and lipstick. It just makes you look classically elegant yet effortless.

Starting of with this beautiful nude called Bare it All in 902C, you are seriously baring it all. It's honestly a true nude that will easily flatter any skin tone.

This lipstick is originally matte but I put a simple clear lip gloss on top, did I also mention it last long? That's why I love Wet N Wild lipsticks.

Up next is this beautiful nude in the Mega last collection Private Viewing 204B. My nails go through a lot and I will honestly say that this has lasted around 2-3 weeks.

If you could tell this was week 2 with the nail polish on. As you can see it looks great. I did my normal house chores, went to work and it survived the craziness. Honestly sometimes as a mom I don't have time to paint my nails with my daughter running around or playing with my dogs. Usually when I do it doesn't last but when I paint my nails with Mega Last it does.

Believe it or not it was SO hard for me to find the right nude for my skin tone that wouldn't look odd on me I tried one from Maybelline years ago and loved it but sadly lost it and never saw it again. Then another from Rimmel by Kate Moss but It didn't suit my complexion. I am happy that I finally have a nude lipstick. What's your favorite nude lipstick/regular lipstick?

Simple Sensitive Skin Experts- Moisturizing Facial Wash Review

Hello my lovelies! Today I'm going to be reviewing Simple Sensitive Skin Experts Moisturizing Facial Wash. Let me just say that it's been extremely difficult for me to get my hands on this product. I had been seeing the commercials everywhere and I've been wanting to buy it but it was very hard to track down due to the fact that it was sold out! I am simply a simple person when it comes to skin care and beauty products on my skin. I really enjoy just having the essentials, we are still young (yes we are) and in my opinion you don't need moisturizers with anti aging or even makeup with anti aging chemicals that are unnecessary (eta retinol) so when it comes to finding a facial wash/moisturizer I look for natural options or things that won't hurt my skin. That's was my main reason I was attracted to Simple Sensitive Skin Experts. NO DYES,NO FRAGRANCE and NO HARSH CHEMICALS. That for me is a win (also no benzoyl peroxide). Now day's going the natural route is what many of us want so we can be healthier and fresher.

Unfortunately due to the fact that everyone seems to love Simple in Miami (seriously lol) almost everything was sold out and only found this in Walmart. I am currently buying the moisturizer off amazon ( I could multitask ya'll blogging and shopping lol) seriously am impressed with how well and true this product has claimed to be.

Simplicity at it's best.

When I first opened this I immediately smelled it and it had no scent or weird scent that claims to be fragrance free (if you know what I mean?) I was very pleased instantly. Like I stated before it says Skin loving ingredients with multi-vitamins, no harsh chemicals that can upset your skin, no artificial perfume or dyes, no parabans and dermatologist tested.

As you can see it has a very pretty pearly white look.

As soon as I put it on my skin it feels very rich and creamy. Also a little goes a long way.

These pictures have no fillers,Photoshop (I don't even know how to do that) or alterations. The only thing I've added was the heart on my chest for modesty and my blog name. I have no makeup in these pictures. I've been using Simple for around a month and half. I like being honest with all of you so I really try products for a while before I review.

For those wondering I normally had a dry T-zone specially around the outside of my nose and my inner cheeks. I just had dry skin and even flaky patches sometimes. After using Simple my skin is seriously soft,moisturized and even less acne than before. As you can tell I really enjoy this product.

ELF Makeup Haul!

So excited for my first haul. I decided to buy some goodies at one of my favorite yet affordable drugstore brands ELF (aka Eyes.Lips.Face.) seriously you get great quality for half the price. It's really a brand I recommend for first time makeup users. This time instead of going to my local target (which is extremely far if I may add) I ordered from the comfort of my home. The best part was getting free shipping from a fantastic coupon I got from Retail me not. Let me say that the shipping was great and i'm always satisfied with their products and overall customer service. Let's get to the goodies.

All the fabulous things I got only for $15 except for the eye brightner in butternut that I got for free as a gift for referring three friends.

Out of all the products I bought I was so excited for this beautiful Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearl it is beyond gorgeous.

This beautiful Clarifying Pressed Powder in Spice, at first I thought it wasn't my color but after trying it on its very accurate.

You can never go wrong with an eyelid primer that will definitely make your shadow pop and last longer. This is in Sheer and I've always enjoyed my elf primers.

Elf Stipple brush

I've always added my foundation with either my fingers or my foundation brush, I'm really excited to try this out. This Stipple Brush although is synthetic for those of you that want to know but it will last if you take care of it just like any brush.

I've always liked the idea of a tinted moisturizer but just never went ahead and bought one an I am extremely satisfied with this Almond Tinted Moisturizer. Another bonus is that it's SPF 20 perfect for those sunny summer days.

Even though my favorite concealer is mac this Honey (light) Tone Correcting Concealer is just as good and it has such a yummy scent I love it. It reminds me of a sweet candy. Another thing it does besides cover my bags it brightens my eyes and corrects my tone.

Really smudge proof

This Black Cream Eyeliner is bullet proof as Mally would say LOL (I enjoy QVC a little too much) seriously though its such a true dark vibrant black. It doesn't flake and it doesn't smudge. Great for a pool party if your going in for a swim.

Let me start off by saying that I found this at Ross in the beauty/bath section and it's one of the best buys I've had in a long time. These shampoo and conditioners are so rich and nutritious for your hair that it's a summer must have.

My hair has totally done a 180 it looks so soft and shiny. As you can see above I got the Creightons curls & waves shampoo which is for natural (as in not permed) treated or permed curls. Now my favorite has to be the conditioner Creightons argan rich conditioner. What can I say it has one of my favorite supplements not only for the hair but for your whole body, argan oil. It's Music Monday! Like various people around the world I was very excited to see and hear Psy's new single for his much awaited comeback. I've been a Psy fan since 2010 and I'm so happy to see how far he has come. I never in a million years would of thought that Snoop Doggy Dog would do a collaboration with Psy and the outcome was nice. I was surprised how well Snoop Dog can rap in Korean, it was very pleasant to hear.
