What this proves is that literally everyone who uses the internet has an email account. Email is not going away. You need an email account for everything now. You need one to sign up for Facebook, Twitter and Google+. You even need an email address to create an account on iTunes to buy music and videos. So the only time email is going to become useless is when the Internet become extinct.

With more and more companies doing Search Enging Optimization, it is becoming harder to rank on the first page of a search engine for top industry keywords. So paid advertising is becoming a valid alternative to having your company appear in Search Engines when people are trying to find a business like yours.

Google rules the roost when it comes to search engines. Almost 70% of all searches performed online are at Google. Knowing this fact, most people then would assume that since more people search Google than Bing, Google would be the better place to invest in paid advertising. Prestige Homes is a custom home builder in Saskatoon that creates unique homes. Their current project in Evergreen is easily identified with its distinctive roof line and modern look.

This website was built on our Home Builder CMS platform. This platform allows our clients to update the content of their website including listing their designs, listing available homes and lots, feature a project, update their photo gallery, and keep their website text current.

We’ve been working away at the redesign of our website for awhile now but kept getting interrupted, in the best possible way, by our clients. No doubt a good problem to have.

The main goal when we were working out the design was to feature the work we’ve been doing for our clients. It’s what we believe sets us apart from our competition. And so that’s why on the front page, as well as the portfolio page, you’ll see nice big screenshots of the websites and applications we’ve worked on.

A second goal was to unify our branding with the logo redesign we had done awhile ago now. Heavy use of various weights of the Museo font is featured throughout the site, thanks to Typekit, and the colours and textures aim to more closely fit within our logo’s design and style.

Along with our main website, we also launched checkoutyastech.ca – a companion site to our twist on yellowpages advertising – that features a short little video demonstrating the 4 areas of focus for YasTech: web design, web applications, internet marketing and online products. Check out the video to see examples of each that we have worked on.
