Ah November. As fall turns to winter (though in these parts it's more like, as foggy days turn to foggy and rainy days), so begins the fun time known as holiday crazytown. With so many options out there for gift gifting, what's a guy (and gal) to do? Luckily, we can turn to one of America's greatest inventions: the gift guide. Happy Halloween! Our fave holiday, next to April Fool's Day (well, at least for me). Here's a fun new video from our dear friends in Still Flyin, one of the best bands around, and one that I wish we could have partied with this halloween. They'll be playing here in SF next Saturday though at Cafe du Nord, so we'll just celebrate a belated halloween then.

Just got word that some of our goods just arrived at Eli Phant, a super rad shop in Portland, Maine. Whoop! Their shop and website are filled with some really amazing, unique items and art. And yes, the name of one of the owners is actually Eli Phant. I'm jealous. For reals. Anyway, some of the things I like in their webshop: So freakin cute it hurts

i have been doing some research on color palettes for an upcoming project but i'd rather stop and look at these all day.

You need to be getting yourself to mateo and isabel on etsy.com to score some of these. I do like me some cameras and Elizabeth Reyes and her loverboy, Matt Lucas, made these awesome prints-- i think maybe-- with heat image transfer. I had the distinct pleasure of hanging with Elizabeth last year when she was helping out around the workshop. Really, she is just beyond lovely. And so are these gems. rolleiflex!!!!!!!!!

So E and I got married two years ago and I thought the occasion deserved commemorating. Lacking the eloquence, I opted to draw something for the loverboy. Jason Kidd used to be a New Jersey Net and is now a magic or a diamondback or something else that doesn't matter because you are dead to E unless you play within the vicinity of his home base. That is Johnny5 giving the greenlight to Evan and Nick's as-yet-to-be-written fake screen play. And robots, especially those that got all hollywood decades ago, know a good project when they see it.
